1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Memeland Airdrop on: November 02, 2023, 12:45:48 PM
There have been alot of related projects in this same format and all they could do at the end is to suffer all those that have worked for them by rewarding them with nothing, though i want to believe that your own case will not be thesame as that, you will be people that will maintain their words and keep promise, people are definitely interested in airdrops they scared of being scammed through the means.
- I am not someone who encourages airdrops, although there are projects where I have also received a large amount of money. But in general, most of them are scam projects, and in the content I shared above, as a personal analysis, I speculate that these are the ways that many people can receive the project.

- If you don't research and just post things that you think are obvious then this project will be a mistake, I'm pretty sure people will receive a big airdrop tomorrow based on the announcements TGE from the project.

1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: November 02, 2023, 03:57:48 AM
Most of the grown up people do not live with parents. At such, the parents are not aware about the interests and habits of individuals. Do you parents know that you gamble ? What was their first reaction towards your gambling habit ?

I won’t say that I have a gambling habit. Yes I do gamble occasionally for some extra profits whenever required. Gambling is just like investing for me. Yes it’s investing with some extra risk in it. Moreover I also gamble with funds which I can afford to lose. So I tell my parents that I invest in some types of schemes. I don’t specify them that I gamble. I am sure many of us does this.
Yep, as long as you can make your parents feel secure about your decisions, like in my case, my family knows I gamble, but they know that I'm not addicted to it. But it doesn't stop at family opposition or support, but I myself am a person who witnessed my grandfather being a lottery addict and my father being a gambling addict, as well as having many times my family had creditors come to demand money from me, according to my memories. And actually, I wanted to advise them to stop, but I never said that to them. Maybe some bad images from gambling appeared in the family that made me more aware and didn't want me to turn myself into a bad person a gambling addict.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin by 9gag on Binance on: November 02, 2023, 03:46:36 AM
Actually it is a marketing too surely Binance will benefit from the listing of it on the 3rd. Yes only got big numbers of bnb will take advantage of the farming due to limited supply it is 2% but the 25% of the airdrop will likely be much bettet but since its swarming with farmers it eventually go low unless what you said happened like eliminate farmers or bots.
I was quite startled to see the official accounts of the project receive many followers so quickly, although according to the news I understood about the project, many people were also confused about the distribution of tokens during the upcoming time. Although I'm not sure what specific criteria the developers have, it is known that the people behind the project do not like spam, and they are also very careful in the process of filtering bots.

And I also just made a topic to talk more clearly about the airdrop related to this project: Memeland Airdrop
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Memeland Airdrop on: November 02, 2023, 03:36:31 AM
It is possible that many people have also heard about it and are looking for the opportunity to receive airdrops from this project, and I want to do some analysis for those who are interested in their airdrops.

Details project:
https://www.memecoin.org/
https://www.memeland.com/

First this project brought some major hype when they announced they would implement Lauchpool on Binance, detail: https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/introducing-memecoin-meme-on-binance-launchpool-farm-meme-by-staking-bnb-tusd-and-fdusd-90ccca2c5d6946ef9439dae41a517578

I think many people will probably think that it is similar to the memecoins that have appeared in this space, so if you have ever known 9GAG, perhaps it will be easier for us to understand the project's intentions. And I don't want to analyze too much but just want to focus on the main issue of the opportunity to receive an airdrop from the project.

This part will mainly belong to the owners of NFT collections in memeland.

As far as I know, this is the part that many people are misunderstanding and have been quite concerned about recently with the mission on https://www.memecoin.org/farming

Although there is no official announcement yet, the listing time will be soon(Nov 3, 2023), so I think we will soon see an announcement on how to claim as well as other specific criteria. And this is just information that I researched and speculated about Memeland. If there are any mistakes, I hope to receive feedback from everyone.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin by 9gag on Binance on: November 01, 2023, 12:24:32 PM
Another part that a lot of people are getting into is website farming, which is similar to some community engagement tasks but wouldn't fall into the category 25% airdrop, it will belong to the 33% ecosystem fund at TGE about 10%.
You mean the 25% arent from the community farming now which are live on their website. It seems you are an early adopter of this project. I appreciate the insight, about it. I also doing that live social farming on meme project. You think its worth it? Cause I am only doing launchpool on Binance and from the tokens Ive getting it seems joining the firesale is much worth but I heard theres a vesting also for that.
IMO, farming will hardly be worthwhile because the number of participants is very large, or the dev will have criteria to eliminate bots.

I think those who join early and own NFTs, or buy fire sale will receive big rewards, even the lauchpool on binance to me is just a form of marketing, it is not too attractive to me when the competition is very large. If you don't have a lot of BNB, it will be difficult to expect profits.

Speculation is that I can expect MC to be similar to APE, GALA,... projects but it seems like GALA will be more similar.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin looking like sleeping gigant in this bull run season on: November 01, 2023, 11:42:28 AM
Although I don't often hold Litecoin, I'm still quite happy to know about the events and their impact on Litecoin's price. Everything that's happening, I think is quite appropriate compared to what has happened. Even the information inside Litecoin, but obviously it still depends on the trend of bitcoin.
Compared to the level it reached before halving, perhaps this time around switching to accumulation and waiting for the next cycle is also a quite reasonable choice. IMO, after all, it is the leading cryptocurrency in space and time. Perhaps we are close to a new bullish trend, so the current goal for me is probably to accumulate many different things, not just assets.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin by 9gag on Binance on: November 01, 2023, 11:34:10 AM
This project has strong support from 9GAG (the leading global meme platform). I learned about this project quite early when they started the idea of approaching blockchain, and I believe it is not like the usual memecoin in this space. Previously, the limited sale of NFTs and mints made me imagine that they could follow a similar development direction as APE, shaping the development of many different areas serving the ecosystem.
Before that, there was some discussion about whether they would develop into a standalone L1, but that's just speculation. Maybe I quite like it because it has things that are not just for hype, let's be more precise than the previous field. Theirs has been in the works for a long time, and the memecoin trend in crypto has just appeared, but is fraught with risks.

I do know about the airdrop information, and it's probably mostly for the owners of the NFTs. Another part that a lot of people are getting into is website farming, which is similar to some community engagement tasks but wouldn't fall into the category 25% airdrop, it will belong to the 33% ecosystem fund at TGE about 10%.

And I think we will soon see another wave of fomo with this project, my guess is that it will most likely enter the top 50 soon, but I certainly won't fomo, simply waiting to see them distribute airdrops.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Celestia airdrop live on: October 31, 2023, 10:00:54 PM
Is there someone who running the node? How much you get from running celestia node? Im feeling curious about that.
Ive got a friens who run a node and got 9k tokens and lucky to got participated. If this goes beyond $3 each imagine its worth from a 200 to 300 spending on node campaign. A lucky guy, he said just for trial of doing it and fortunate to have an airdrop this kind of amount. I had only few tokens just by evm and hope its value its like $5 to $10 to gain some profits here.

Bro got like $30k for $50 vps, I feel like airdrops aren't worth at times and then shit like this happens, and I'm like bro this shit lit! Crypto is blessing, I swear to God.
I think it's worth it. In this project, the node operators probably wouldn't have expected to receive such a large amount of money. Although there have been some large self-rewarding projects in the past, it is similar to another marketing method that also receives fomo, sometimes I have witnessed people massively neglecting it, wasting time with lots of nodes on different projects. But anyway, this project has brought happiness, congratulations to everyone who has received airdrop rewards from the project.
1089  Economy / Economics / Re: Isn't Fiat the Real Ponzi on: October 31, 2023, 09:55:05 PM
From the OP's perspective, do we need to reconsider what Ponzi is?

First, try asking yourself whether you should invest in fiat or not.Confusing concepts in finance is not the way to connect an issue, and above all, if Elon Musk says that money is sh*t then is it true? More sober than before regardless of statements from someone, and especially Elon Musk, and I think such comparisons are completely disconnected when the nature of fiat operates in connected life and convenience for transactions. More epidemic, as for manipulation or even a type of fiat of a country, it is related to other macro issues such as politics, economics, people,...

After all, we should not get attached to things that have nothing to do with each other. Even bitcoin is misunderstood because we ourselves do not really understand it or have false prejudices.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brand completely associated with crypto on: October 31, 2023, 09:45:41 PM
What if I launch a cosmetic brand completely associated with crypto in some way. Like , the purchase of cosmetic products of my company being available only with certain alt coin.
That could be seen as a bad business idea, and when someone asks the OP why do that? And are you really serious about combining payments with the service's cryptocurrency, and what do you think the user will accept or even know about crypto?

And more importantly, if you don't want to get into the trouble of duplicating ideas and brands, imagine a series of memecoins created with meaningless content as well as names that really just want to chase the hype spread in the media. It's similar to how you mentioned branding in relation to a market that's generating traction. Seriously looking at the problem and its results in terms of challenges and risks when applied will help you figure out what to do next.

1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think a new memecoin $MEMEFARMS will skyrocket in 2023? on: October 30, 2023, 08:20:33 PM
I think many people, if only looking at the name and brand, will have a big misunderstanding about the memeland.

I learned about this project around the end of 2022 when it was still in the early stages but at that time it really did not receive much traction possibly due to many different objective issues. But actually, I know who is behind it, the 9GAG platform is what attracts my attention more, of course if anyone does not know about 9GAG, they can ignore it. But actually, they had a platform system that was not related to blockchain a long time ago, maybe the increasing awareness and acceptance of crypto caused them to get more involved in this field.

Yes, I also agree that if it's just exaggerated like some doge, shiba, pepe memes,... it's not too attractive until fomo. But actually, the project is building and doing a lot of different things related to p2e, socialfi,... although those are all exaggerated terms, perhaps the most impressive thing is the team behind the project with much experience.

_______________________________________________________________________________ __________________
Actually, I was wrong to think the OP was referring to the MEMECOIN project, but after looking again, it's something else entirely.

What the hell is $memefarms ? Well this is definitely a copy of the idea as well as following the hype by another quality project I mentioned earlier.

I don't have advice on whether or not to continue with what the OP is talking about, but I'm glad to know about another project that I wouldn't otherwise be exposed to. When this is just another and meaningless meme popping up in this space.
1094  Economy / Economics / Re: choose an option on: October 30, 2023, 08:41:36 AM
Well I will choose ''b'', because that reward I think will need to belong to me immediately and most likely I will also deduct half of the money to invest in bitcoin.

Another option that I think would be similar would be to choose ''c'', which would also sell half the bitcoin to fiat.

1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking back at the past, one of those statements gained respect over time. on: October 29, 2023, 08:36:58 AM
There are many opinions above but I think a simpler way is to look at their reactions to this story.

I saw what the youtube channel is all about and I do recommend people to get in early. However reading the OP I thought some things should be made clear.

There are a niche of social media influencers who in short have the habit of "showing off" or faking it and not actually being rich. They make money by promoting brands and the rich lifestyle but all that is rented or faked, targeting the younger generation. People should be careful of this.

Bitcoin will not be something that gets you rich overnight and neither will any altcoin do that, unless you hit some jackpot, and like jackpots they are unreachable.

This is why I advice people to not follow influencers of crypto-based social media because of the shill it carries. Build your own concepts and live by them and obviously buy bitcoin at the bear markets.
The story of 2013 is completely different from the story of 2023, as the title introduces a retrospective. Ask yourself if you heard about bitcoin from 2013 to 2014 and I admit that I am confused, as well as the knowledge resources for me to access, or the direction to access that knowledge is very different with the current social context.

I also very much agree that currently, while the media and social networks help knowledge to be transmitted well, there is still a system of false knowledge being spread. But that doesn't have much to do with what I want to talk about, simplifying the whole story and not wanting to overcomplicate, I have had happy and miserable times with bitcoin but at the end of the day I Realize I'm really stupid.

I have talked about it clearly, hoping for fun.

1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: October 29, 2023, 08:15:58 AM

One one thing I have noticed about gambling is that before you win a thousand box, they might have milk you of more than that.
[I just want to use this medium to appeal to the younger generation, please stay off gambling, if you must do so, gamble responsible, don't take it as your only source of living so it wouldn't milk you dry.
then you already knew what gambling is all about lol, you will lose more than you can earn ,
for every hundred loses lucky for you if there is a 10 dollar win  Grin well that is according to my own experiences and also best to just enjoy
the game (but of course hope and pray to win and learn also to stand up when you have enough wins)
and one thing , about thinking gambling as a source of income? to feed you and family? that will be the stupidest thing people can ever think
about. because gambling should be for entertainment and only brings bonus if we win , specially when we hit the jackpot? that would be
the happiest part to enjoy and also to win.
It's clearer whether people want to have fun with it or want to become a part of the house's money-making tool. Players easily mistakenly believe that easy ways to use money do not cause much harm, but this is a game related to money, so it is not fun if that amount of money is not within the range that you can comfortably spend and does not harm your life. There are many secrets in the gambling industry that startle me, but the truth is that not all players are good. Some of my friends once whispered to me that if you want to safely launder money, go to the casino (this does not apply to regular players), which shows that there is a lot more working behind what is in front of us.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that are good for long hodling in this season. on: October 29, 2023, 08:07:59 AM
I believe will saw the new shift of many altcoins price that made the green light to remain stable in some days to make some altcoins hodlers to make a new decision to apply for potential altcoins that will make their profits surplus when the real bull run show up in the market soon. I guess Ethereum and Binance are very good in long hodling because, since I became regular in the crypto market, I discovered that this two altcoins carry huge population to stand in second and third position in the market that is giving me hope that they are good in long term hodling and, it will be difficult for their customers to experience negative results like what other customers are experiencing from new altcoins in the market. Do you think this two altcoins are good in long hodling in this season? Because I have seen some reason that made me to apply for long term in this little shift of the price of altcoins which the bull run will show up fully next week.
If ETH and BNB should be placed in the long list because its fluctuations depend mainly on the main trend from bitcoin, unlike altcoins that exaggerate the trends that do not create much value and are only pump/dump short term.
But risk or profit should also be planned from the beginning to avoid stress during investment. It seems that recently the bitcoin movement has brought a more exciting atmosphere, I also see many people talking about it memecoin before that but I personally can only spend time researching the top ones at the current stage to be able to speculate on what might happen. But anyway, when it comes to longterm investing, the goal is to wait until the profit makes you feel satisfied and exit if you want.
1099  Economy / Economics / Re: Isreal and Palestine war and losing your wallet phrase and password on: October 29, 2023, 07:59:20 AM
I also think it will be better to store that way in cloud storage. Storage like you save in google drive, it will be safe there for anytime that you like to restore it after a war when you survive it. If you keep in google drive you have to remember the password to login to the google account and if you do that it will open everything you have keep there. You have to keep the password save no matter how long you will access it back like your email too.
So in reality the problem is happening right now, the story is your life or your money, which is more important?

Luckily, the current life in the country I live in does not encounter this situation where catastrophic wars have ended. But I still hear from the previous generation about the transfer of power, monetary issues were almost meaningless and the assets people hoarded at that time were bars of gold, silver, pearls,... The way they do it is to put it in a box and drop it into the water tank and of course it is secret, even if it is no longer alive, there is still a chance for someone else to find it and use it. In this era, we have bitcoin as a new way to store assets and there are also many ways to store secret things, but in my opinion, try to save your life first.
1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anti-Gambling Tools on: October 29, 2023, 07:46:58 AM
So, here's the deal. I've been into crypto gambling, and I've realized that, despite my best intentions, it's a bit tough to control the urge. I've tried the self-exclusion route in the past, but it seems some crypto casinos still find a way to let me back in.

I know I've got an issue, and I've accepted that. Now, my goal is to manage it better and avoid any unnecessary damage to my finances.

I'm curious if any of you have faced a similar situation and if there are tools or methods you've found effective in controlling crypto gambling. It feels like most platforms lack daily limits or deposit controls, making it a bit challenging to stay on track.

Would really appreciate any advice or recommendations from those who've been through something similar.
imo, it is not something that we have to focus on to find every way to win it, I mean don't look at gambling games as a way to make money because that is not for the majority. Some local gambling sites that I have tried and also discovered that there are signals to groups that can directly manipulate the results of each game so I see that it is a place to take money from players, so So don't set too high expectations on profits and then drown in debt. I also have time to work with gambling websites during each period, even with more entertaining games, the odds for the house to win are still more attractive than the players.
