1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LNK] [500k+USD RAISED] Ethereum.link | Flexible Market Connector | ICO started on: May 12, 2017, 06:45:41 AM
24701 LNK has been sold, almost 50% of the total ICO coins and to think it's just a few days passed since the ICO started, a clear sign of progress to be a successful ICO, hopefully this one reach the threshold.

This is a good indication that this project ICO will be a successful one.  There is still lots of days before this ICO ends, I am sure it will be a sold out.
total 60K LNK ? i think that is too little

I believe dev have a good  reason why they have the total at 60k LNK.
1102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: May 12, 2017, 04:40:03 AM
As far as I know, it is always fair since the one who is making a transaction have choice if he wants to pay a regular, higher, or lower fee.  Whatever he chooses he must not blame miners for it since it is his choice to rather have fast confirmation or waiting for eternity for the confirmation of his transaction.
1103  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: May 11, 2017, 11:45:10 AM
For me investing in trading is much better because you are the one who controll your investment. Unlike investing in other site most of the time thwy are scam which all of us not like that. That is why be careful in every investment you do make sure you invest in legit sites.

same thing dude. if you trade, you're really not in control of the movement of the altcoins you're dealing with. these two are similar in a lot of ways though day traders profit in a much shorter time thsn investors but concerning the risks involved, and the fact that it you have the same preparations, its pretty much the same

You may not have control of the movement of the altcoins but you have control over your stash, so it all depends on your decision and how well you know the altcoins your trading.  The risk is not the same between trading and investing.  One might be riskier than the other, but at the end of the day, the good one will be the one that you have knowledge the most.
1104  Other / Off-topic / Re: is worth to buy bitcoins? on: May 11, 2017, 10:25:49 AM
Yes its good idea. We cannot predict bitcoins whether it can increase its price or not. Bitcoin is a good long term investment. If i have a lot of money I would put it in invedting bitcoin too.
I am sorry to say that it seems too rubbish to me that someone saying that they cannot predict about the bitcoin.
Well I agree that there are so many reasons for saying like the speculation and other stuff but at the same time there are more reasons to say that yes the bitcoin price is going to go higher than the current one.

I agree it is rubbish to say we cannot predict bitcoin price, everyone can predict the price and it doesn't matter if it is wrong or right as long as everyone can freely predict it.

I believe it is worth to buy bitcoin today because of all the hype and adoption happening around.  Japan, then India, next is China.  I am quite confident that buying BTC now can give us good profit next year.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LNK] [325 BTC RAISED] Ethereum.link | Flexible Market Connector | ICO started on: May 11, 2017, 08:47:54 AM
Roll Eyes These ICO's 90% fail might as well call it Premine heaven

What made you think that 90% of ICO failed?  As far as I know, those legit ICO were somehow successful.    Some of those successful ICO are priced higher than their initial ICO price.  And I think this project will aligned itself to the successful ICO out there.
1106  Other / Off-topic / Re: is worth to buy bitcoins? on: May 10, 2017, 05:50:22 AM
I think it is still worth to buy Bitcoins, if your plan is holding it for a long term then probably you need to wait for the correction but if your plan is to day trade then probably now is the right time because time is essential in this kind of venture.  The earlier you learn about trading, the better it is to gain experience and learn from it.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LNK] [137.1 BTC RAISED] Ethereum.link | Flexible Market Connector | ICO started on: May 10, 2017, 04:32:31 AM
I read the OP in depth and was truly impressed with this project, especially concerning the SILVER backing of the tokens. So I decided to invest and take part in the 15% bonus also. I wish I had read about it earlier to catch the 25% but better to be in now than not at all. I am just waiting for my BTC to hopefully confirm as I paid extra advanced fee. I also decided to join the Signature campaign and hope I get accepted. I hope the project reaches the pinnacles of success. I will try to purchase more as finances allow.

The concept of silver used is still rare and is seen with one eye by some people but I see this is a good opportunity because of its unique nature is able to provide a good interest for further development.

Congrats guys, hope you will end up distributing the whole total of 55,000 LNK.
I will closely watch this project, investors are very aggressive on this one.

Don't hesitate to get involved because of the limitations of the tokens provided and the significant increase from investors will make it a success this year.

I see Silver as a great asset at this point, more even than gold, silver has much more room to grow so I see this as a great decision by link project.

Kinda agree on this, with a limited supply and demand flocking in, I can see the token having a high price.  Aside from that this token is backed up by one of the important commodities, so I guess  this project will definitely a success (note 50% had already been raised).
1108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC dominance decreasing. on: May 09, 2017, 06:38:49 PM
Seem the dominance of Bitcoin never changes, figures from the coinmarketcap should not be used as the basis in dominance of certain coins.  One can be more dominant but due to the limited number of coins, they tend to lose to those who have unlimited supply of coins since coinmarketcap always calculate them in total coins, not the actual adoption and usage of coins.

1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: May 04, 2017, 02:22:25 PM
Definitely not.  Why would I be shameful when I have done nothing wrong.  I am spending my own money and I am not ignoring the family needs and supply them sufficiently.  Aside from that I believe gambling is just a recreational activity and not a sin where we offend or hurt someone.  So as long as I am doing fine and does not affect around me negatively I will never be shameful even if I am a gambler.
1113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short Term or Long Term on: May 04, 2017, 02:03:43 PM
Both type of trading have their perks, with long term you may end up with bigger margin of profit, but you have to be very patient for that, and in short term, you see growing your investment every day even though by a small amount.
But how do you prefer to trade? Especially when trading alts. Do you go with good potential coins and long term investment so you can only cash in when you get to a desired level of profit?
Or do you prefer day trading and go with whichever coin suits on the day.
And what is according to you best practice?

Short term if managed correctly can out profit the long term.  If the one doing short term keeps on taking advantage of fluctuation and is very successful with it, then he can multiply his holding, and will definitely beat the one who is holding his coin in long term.
1114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy or Sell? on: May 04, 2017, 01:50:48 PM
Poll Open for 24 hours. NVM
Personally I think its time to sell a little to buy back in later.

So are you thinking of shorting?  Or just plain sell and buy back when price goes lower?  I would rather hold for now, seems bulls are not tired yet.  Probably we can see as high as $1600 this month.  There are still lots of good news coming and fresh funds to flow in bitcoin economy.  I think there are several major company from Japan who wants to venture in Bitcoin so I guess that is enough to push Bitcoin price abit more higher.
1115  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: May 04, 2017, 01:36:03 PM
But also i think it depends on management since if the gambling site owner is lousy then he cannot get profit for himself aswell as the owner of dating sites if he doesn't do some unique updates well he cannot get more users and advertisers so my point of view for this comparisson is totally depends.

I agree, this depends on how effective the marketing strategy of the owner is.  We all know there are certian kinds of gimmicks than can make the audience interested.  No matter what kind of site it is if their promotional and marketing people are so talented, then I can say they will most likely earn big.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else HAVE most or maybe ALL of their money in btc/crypto? on: May 04, 2017, 12:44:06 PM
I put most all of my money in btc/crypto because I beleive it will grow my savings. And, now Im happy as what you can see btc price is increasing and I earn of it. Btc saves for the future I know I can earn big profit.

It seems you are right on what you believe in at this moment.  Though the question is, until when we are right with our prediction that bitcoin price will go up?  Bitcoin price won't forever increase, once the market reach its maximum saturation, price will either be stable or worst decline.  I hope you can cash out your bitcoin at its peak.
1117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 main mistakes of Bitcoin newbies on: May 04, 2017, 12:17:24 PM
Hi, with price soaring and newbies joining I found useful sharing this miniguide.
Hope this is appreciated

http://immutable.today/10-mistakes-bitcoin-newbies/

I just saw this thread and even if it's 2 months old it's still relevant.

The main mistakes that I think are the most common in the newbies from that article are:

-Mining bitcoins - I remember when I joined bitcoin I wanted to mine, and basically my laptop got overheated and i couldn't bare the noise and eventually, my laptop just died and had to get it repaired. Got literally 0 from that.

- Trading altcoins, buying into shitcoins - I bought into a coin called Zetacoin because there was such a big hype over at cryptsy at the time. In the end it was near worthless, and i'm not even sure that people have exchanges for it.

- Buying coin with paypal/CC - The reason why people charge outrageous rates is because they have to assume that you are a scammer. If you are legit then you can always go through the process of verification and buy from Coinbase, or other big exchanges for close to 1% of spot price.

I guess this kind of thread will never grow old.  There is always a new comer to Bitcoin, meaning there is always a newbie everyday and these newbies always commit this kind of mistakes.  Sad but true, it even happen to me lol.   I once thought that faucet is a good way to get a good amount of bitcoin but well I find that it is wrong and faucets are just dust and will never give us a good amount with regards to the time consumed.
1118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: May 03, 2017, 05:30:04 PM
Ever since bitcoin is created, it already have a future.  The reason is that, there are lots of developer trying to upgrade bitcoin technology, removing the scalability issue, bitcoin had been getting a positive ground to some country.  It is good as a starter and soon more country will follow the steps done by japan.
1119  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price break 1459 USD, is it too late to invest in Bitcoin? on: May 03, 2017, 04:52:05 PM
The only measurement if it is too late or not is not the price but rather the saturation level of the market.  Since Bitcoin still have low saturation level with regards to world population adoption, I believe it is still too early to invest in Bitcoin.  So if you are planning to invest, do not hesitate, hesitation may cause you more USD in buying Bitcoin.
1120  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: May 03, 2017, 04:32:45 PM
well bitcoin bank will create increased market confidence and also better than safety issues

How could it be safer than you holding your privatekey and having an exclusive access to your coin?  Remember if this bank decided to freeze your bitcoin account, then you won't be able to move it anywhere you wanted. Worst it will be lost forever since it might probably seized by the same bank where you put your trust.
