1141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going to 2,000 $ soon ? why not ? on: April 13, 2017, 10:32:21 PM
Im pretty sure yes it is it will be going into this way 2,000 $ dollar is quite good for us to be true and this will be reach someday somehow in the end of this year or maybe pretty soon as long as it will be indemand bitcoin is now in the maximum level of being famous which country starting them to unbanned and then keep continue to using this currency.
Everyone knows that the price would soar from this current valuation but what everyone is looking forward is to know when that leap would happen,it looks like we had a dull day as the price of bitcoin went down because of the speculation from Roger and when everything is settled i am sure there will be a good rally which will break all records.

Why bother to count the day when it happen. just go along with the wave,  If you are confident enough that Bitcoin price will soar high, you can just keep your Bitcoin and wait till the price increase and sell it according to the price you wanted.  Worrying anything that happen to Bitcoin when we are not capable of stopping or changing will just result to frustration.  I would say if you have accumulated enough Bitcoin, better keep it and divert your attention for a while until the price meets your expectation for selling.
1142  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: April 13, 2017, 10:22:15 PM
In cryptocurrency, there is no other investment that gives fast return aside from investing at an early stage on HYIP (which I highly dislike ) there is no other method than investing in an ICO.  Though we should be very careful in choosing which ICO to join since there had been lots of scam ICO around this forum.
1143  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you invest in a MLM scam in early stage? on: April 13, 2017, 09:58:50 PM
I will never invest in an MLM scam even at early stage.  Moral said it is better to work hard and earn than lure people into scam and earn.  Most MLM people bragged about their system as working smart but  luring people into a ponzi scheme just to earn money is not smart working that is wicked work.
1144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN NEWS TODAY on: April 13, 2017, 09:05:52 PM
It is a good thing that Japan lead the campaign for Bitcoin adoption.  China and India are quite cautious, author just take the possible positive effect of Bitcoin on the action of these two (India and China) in regulating Bitcoin. Though these two announcement obviously make bitcoin price to plummet.  Until traders gets used to PBOC announcements.  The one that have major positive effect is Japan.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: April 12, 2017, 08:43:38 PM
cmon shorters...gimme your XRP muahahahahaha  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

once they get in these hands, they aint coming back  Cool

Just wait, another batch of ripple will be created and give your demand.   Grin

when will we take off?  Tongue Grin

It already had take off did you missed the train?  If you do then maybe you have to wait a bit longer for the next batch.

Bought at 2720. I thought the train didnt leave yet Tongue

while btc still keep showing strong value ripple keeps trying to survive between 2700-2900 sat i still waiting for the price to reach 10k hopefully
the price will reach to that peak and give me good profits keeps on holding believing that it will make it to happen as previous replied said regarding to banking system.

Its basically stayed at this price since Poloniex crashed awhile back. Considering something outside XRP is causing the price to be low right now, i'd say this is the perfect time to buy. Had Poloniex not crashed XRP would be sitting at 10k right now.

do not blame the poloniex crash, there are lots of sellers whining about the crash because they do not cash out at its peak, the next time they knew XRP price was cut down to half  Tongue
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoin for longterm investment on: April 12, 2017, 08:13:18 PM
I agree, go for the top 10 coins in the coinmarket cap, at least these coins have stable support.  PoS coins are good but as what the previous poster said, it is destined to a dump since coins are ever increasing in number.  I would go bitbay, and maidsafe coin for possible maximum profit.
1147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: April 12, 2017, 07:34:44 PM
Yet, we can say that the money if there is already a country that officially use the bitcoin, and use of the bitcoin still not more than 3% of the total population of the Earth.

Actually there is. Japan already accepts bitcoin as a form of payment in many stores there. They even approved a bill for that which was approved last April 1.

And for the record, even though no country uses bitcoin officially, as long as you can use it as payment you can say that bitcoin is a money. That is because bitcoin hold a value that is directly convertible to fiat (money) so basically, bitcoin is a money.
My country philippines accept bitcoin as payment I think last month ago or two months ago the BSP or the banko central of philippines released an article about bitcoin and the details is "bitcoin as payment". Its not a problem the total population of bitcoin user it is less or more. The important is bitcoin gives opportunity to us to earn money . And thats good to say bitcoin is money because if earn bitcoin I also earn money.
its very good news that bitcoin now accepting in some country slowly slowly as payment method and i hope bitcoin will be acceptable sooner around the world.

Yes this is just an beginning and in future we will see many more countries that will start accepting bitcoins as payment method and also as a currency and that will attract those people who have not heard about the bitcoins.

There is no doubt about that type of scenario. Due to the start of acceptance of bitcoin by different countries, we may expect that more and more countries will accept bitcoin as a method of payment. Soon we will expect that more news will emerge about a new country that accepts bitcoin or new multinational businesses will start to accept bitcoin. These type of news will appear month after month or even week after week. We will witness the fast growth of bitcoin.

And this same scenario will trigger Internal Revenues Dept. to put taxes on Bitcoin transaction (not onchain of course).  We all know that money when earned or used where being taxed.  Since Bitcoin is already considered by several country as money then probably the next thing we will see is the implementation of taxes.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: April 11, 2017, 11:03:28 PM
What's goin on with XRP?
2600  Huh

Seems pump is over and now XRP is reverting back to its suppose to be price.

when will we take off?  Tongue Grin

It already had take off did you missed the train?  If you do then maybe you have to wait a bit longer for the next batch.

yeaaa , a few of my lower orders actually got filled.. Smiley

all i can say is, btc,eth and xrp are the safest bets in crypto

xrp is the only one that is currently undervalued

It seems dump had not finished yet?  Another period of accumulation and consolidation?
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market saturated? What 'features' might be needed still? on: April 11, 2017, 10:30:39 PM
Given, we have about 1k alts now and only a few with significant trading vol ( agreed this is fishy, but vols < 1Mio$ per day is crap)

How is the distribution, still very central?

Given, that we have Turing Complete Alts = TCA that should be able to mimic all we might need? Could we replace all alts with these TCAs?

Or do we just need to be scammed more and more and every day like in shiny Casino industry?

Pump & Dump!

 Huh

I think the market is already saturated by altcoins. Almost all the needed option had been offered by different altcoins and others are just repeating  the project of other altcoin that came before them.  I can only see them as Pump and Dump, no innovation, no new techs.  There maybe some that is innovative or offer a minor innovation but mostly are just to grab money.
1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: April 11, 2017, 09:53:47 PM
At the moment, I dont have upto 1 BTC in my wallets, but have earned much more than that since knowing Bitcoin and hopefully am going to take stock of a chunk before 2017 is up. Am investing in an offline business for now and always hitting the Withdrawal tab every time something good turns in. During the Christmas holiday, I gave my family and I a treat - life is  short, got to pamper it sometimes Grin

I do not have 1 BTC and have not even earned yet.  It is kinda hard today to get a whole of Bitcoin because of its price.  I think I need really a lot of time to earn BTC  unless I am successful and trading or timed an ICO that gives 100x increase of its ICO price.  I do not have a coding skill so I have to rely with trading or any bounty here in the forum.  I may have a day job but it is just enough for the family budget.
1151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Ban on: April 06, 2017, 10:20:28 PM
What will cause a government to ban bitcoin in the country? In what circumstances will that be justified by the government?
And how can government actually ban bitcoin? I mean they can ban people selling or buying stuff with bitcoin in the country, can they actually ban people from holding bitcoin?

Ignorance will cause the government to ban Bitcoin.  And it will be justified in whatever circumstances they wanted, they rule the country, so definitely they have the power to tell it is justified even though it is not since the ignorance.  Though they can ban it through restriction of exchanges, they cannot totally ban the network of Bitcoin just like torrents.
1152  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: April 06, 2017, 09:05:39 PM
It's much easier to see a skyrocketing in price than a fall of 70% in price. I don't think bitcoin will fall to 100$, it's a very dramatically down and it would represent the end of the currency, who is waiting for this will wait forever.
The old times of bitcoin aren't the same we have now. Bitcoin economy evolved, it's not so unstable like before.

It could if something happened, as of now there are debate between to keep the original block size and to increase it. Alot of people will start stocking up and when the chain split, nobody knows what will happen. The worst will be that most people will switch to altcoin and leave bitcoin aside so price might be lower

Probably a split in chain, and the one with the weaker support would probably less than $100.  But the one with the bigger support will definitely increase in price.  And the one that got the best support will be the one that will be acknowledged as the real bitcoin.  So I guess it is really impossible to see $100  Bitcoin a piece again.
1153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: March 30, 2017, 09:37:23 PM
as I know experience is important in some gambling games such as poker, but how about the other games like dice game or roulette, do you gain any advantage from your experience, can you used your experience to win the game? or maybe because of your experience you know whether to bet low or high in dice game

So Does Experience matter to you?
Experience in gambling is really matters, for us to be sharpen before we become sa good gambler in the games.  Through those experience will be the way for us to not to do the mistake we did before, just simple as that. Whatever kind of games is that Wink

How can you say that experience matters in gambling? Does the dice roll better if you are experienced? Does the slot stop at the perfect time when you have more experience? Does the roulette always drop at red if you have played it a million times? No to all, right? It doesn't matter! Everything will be the same regardless if you are a new player or an fossil who played all his life.

It does matter.  Experience lets you react accordingly, that is if you are learning from your experience.  Those who learn from their experience knows the importance of it.  But those who does not will really never understand how important experience is.  So basically, arguing with them about the importance of experience in gambling is simply a waste of time. But to remind them sometimes is worth an effort though Smiley Learn from your experience.
1154  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: March 30, 2017, 07:29:26 PM
Still I can say let the children have fun during free hours and focus on study during learnig hours.  It is more helpful than forcing them to learn about Bitcoin.  Before teaching any advance, we should build the fundamentals first. and that is by letting them focus in their school activities.
1155  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: March 28, 2017, 04:07:24 AM
The price now recovered to $1025 but still it is lower price than what it attained in the previous month so it is still the time to buy bitcoins at lower time The investors who invested two days ago are now happy because they got the profit what was promised.

It's better than it is going to keep on falling. And this is going to give us a good time to breath now for most of the holders.

Let's just wait when bitcoin came back again at $1,100 then hope the next thing that is going to happen is it is going to recover back to $1,200.

Don't hesitate and be thankful that bitcoin's price is getting back again each day.
Dump for the price is a good event for traders or investors because they can buy cheaper bitcoin and sell it later. Now the price of bitcoin is getting up again but i don't think it will continue because the hardfork is not yet done and it will happen in april 1 so it is better for me to not buy bitcoins now and just watch the result of hardfork in april 1 and then make a decision for your next move after watching or doing observation of the hardfork results.

Yes, dump events are actually beneficial if you are hoping for getting profit if you are a long term trader and investor of bitcoin.

And that chance is already done, as we can see the price is becoming ready and showing us it is pumping back to $1k and now trying to make it to $100.

I guess it will be back again at $1,100 next week and probably expect $1,200+ for the mid-week of April. Only if these issues will have solution and will be resolved.

Aside from profit, dump also enable new users to get in at a cheaper price.  The one thing worries me is the manipulated dump.  Because the end result of this is whales getting more BTC because that is their intention of dumping.
Anyway, Bitcoin is trying to recover but somehow someone is keeping it at that level.  Does this mean someone is playing with BTC?  This definitely only mean one thing, after the accumulation, we can see Bitcoin at $1500 soon.
1156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When did you start gambling? (Because of BCT Promotion?) on: March 23, 2017, 02:20:23 PM
I did start during my early years gambling against my friends.  We often bet on which team will win if ever our favorite team is competing.  Online gambling is when I got a hold of Bitcoin since it is easier to deposit and move fund to the casino that accept BTC.  That probably encourage me to play gambling online since I am still anonymous while enjoying the game at the online Casino.
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2017, 03:32:23 AM
Someone from the office I worked said that bitcoin is a scam.  It caught my attention and I listen why he said so.  Btw, he is talking to one of our co employee then saw me listening so he included me to the conversation.  I heard he has invested in some company that use Bitcoin as payment system (membership and payout)  then the company shuts down.  So he is concluding that Bitcoin is scam due to that experience.  I told him Bitcoin and company are not one. Bitcoin is just a tool used by those scammers to attract people.  He tried to argue about my comment and I just keep quiet.
1158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as primary currency in Norway on: March 22, 2017, 03:03:50 PM
the title of this thread has misleading me because i thought the whole of norway has decide to accept bitcoin as the primary currency on that country but looks like only one city had admit it however this is good move and i wish there will be another country considering bitcoin as a part of the currency for their country

I agree that is what I thought too.  Maybe this is some kind of clickbait lol which is effective since it got my attention.  Anyway it is still a good news that some company is accepting Bitcoin as mode of payment.  More companies like this is needed to be able to increase Bitcoin stability and demand.
1159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Almost 1,100 on: March 21, 2017, 10:45:36 PM
It is $1100 plus now.  Bitcoin is recovering, Bulls getting in charged again.  I hope this Bull will be in steroid to push Bitcoin way above $1200.

Its simple because FUD is destroyed in an effective way. When some asain dude screems BU FORK again its likely that we drop again Wink
No i don't think another hard fork FUD will have enough power to create big dump like before, we may see some correction if their will be network split in future after hard fork. BTC will remain as major chain while BTU will be like ETC.

I am expecting 1200$+ by end of tomorrow.

I hope your expectation be met. And $1300 at the end of the month. (There is no wrong in dreaming I guess  Grin)
1160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Like The Price Is DROPPING Now ( NDE-MO ) on: March 21, 2017, 07:53:33 PM
2000$ is still easily possible without Segwit. Only we need to use bitcoin on a different way than we use it nowadays. Not like a paying system but as a safe heaven for fiat money like gold. It happens more and more often in African country's and Latin-America. All country's with weak fiat money are using bitcoin more and more. This alone will push the mighty bitcoin to 2000$ easily.

It is possible but not easy without segwit or anything that will fix the scalability issue of Bitcoin.  Bitcoin will naturally increase in price.  Due to the saturation effect of it.  but it will take longer without fixing bitcoin's scalability.
