1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitBean the new Dogecoin? on: May 03, 2017, 04:24:28 PM
it looks fun but it will never be like doge was at its peak...doge brought a lot of attention to crypto and a lot of new miners

sad it was self destructed by those running it previously

And destructed by wolong during their pumps where lots of people lost their money.

I do think Bitbean is good but I do not think it will be the next Dogecoin.  Dogecoin had established it's image as meme coin and attracted lots of people into cryptocurrency.  I wonder if Bitbean can do the same.
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: May 03, 2017, 03:15:59 PM
I think Bitcoin will be great in 2017, the price increase just said it so.  There will be couples of ATH breaking and a possible $2000 per bitcoin a piece is expected.  Legalization of Bitcoin in different country will push thru and more country will recognize bitcoin as money thus government will try to implement tax on bitcoin transactions.
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if bitcoin dies, what alt would you go for? on: April 27, 2017, 11:03:20 PM
If Bitcoin dies I will shift to Litecoin.  I believe Litecoin function like Bitcoin and with faster confirmation.  And Bitcoin developer won't have difficulty in shifting to litecoin to develop it further.

Honestly if Bitcoin dies, I think that the Altcoin Market won't last long. Let us think of a reason first why Bitcoin will be dead. Probably its big like the government is taking action of making Bitcoin illegal. With that being started Bitcoin will drastically have a lower demand, But I don't think Bitcoin users' next step will be finding am Altcoin to replace Bitcoin. Because they know that Cryptocurrency in general has now have a bad image to the government. Also Bitcoin being dead can greatly influence the Cryptocurrency in general, being the father of it all is obvious.

I do not think all altcoins lives depends on Bitcoin.  there are lots of altcoin that have its strength and purpose.  Being the father of cryptocurrency does not mean when it became obsolete, so all the cryptocurrency is.
1124  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: April 27, 2017, 10:44:33 PM
Sure technology and new generation are connected, but the thing is bitcoin might became a problem to them since they need to wait to get their transactions done, and patiente isnt the key of young generation, others coins might be best then bitcoin. Bitcoin can be used as store of value, from those option sure the potencial is huge and looks like the price wont stop grow with or without halvings.

I do not see bitcoin transaction waiting time being the problem if we are to save it and keep it for very long time.  As what OP stated, it is said as saving Bitcoin for future use. If you are saving of course you will keep it in a safe place and not spend.  During those time when it reach maturity (time to convert) I am sure confirmation time wil be instant.
1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: April 27, 2017, 10:29:42 PM
I am using online wallet since I am trading, so I keep my coins I am trading there (exchange wallet)  But in storing idle coins I have lightwallet on my desktop.  Quite easy to use and I do not need to download the block chain.  I used to use MultiBit wallet but since it is hard to get the private key, I changed to electrum wallet.
1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is Gold 2.0 – What humanity has been waiting for centuries on: April 27, 2017, 10:08:07 PM
I dont think that bitcoin may be called as a "gold 2.0".
I dont see any really common things that bitcoin and gold have, except that some of the people are using it for investing purposes, and do speculation on both of the assets.

But bitcoin is not something that price is going up during the crisis, because gold usually behaves like that.

When there is a threat of some kind of war, the gold is becoming usually more expensive because the demand is higher than usual. It can rise up the price in particular country.

They are both good as store of value.  Bitcoin due to its nature to increase in price is a good way of storing value.  Aside from that the rarity of Bitcoin and how it is mined is based on gold rarity and how it is mined.  So I guess with this, I believe that BTC is gold 2.0 ( digital gold)
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: April 27, 2017, 09:53:51 PM
About my insight this year 2017 bitcoin will really become 2000$ to 3000$ before end of this year, I just base it according to the analysis of the bitcoin experts in bitcoin world. But that would still be depend on the demand of the community of course. and t the price so far of bitcoin was 1327$ now. Cheesy

As for me Bitcoin will reach $1500 this year, I know $2000 is quite high since we still have this scalability issue and political drama.  I think Bitcoin will continue to be adopted by every country thus pushing its price to what I have said.  There are also some consideration on the ETF decision so we might still see some price increase until the release of the review.
1128  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: April 26, 2017, 10:04:15 PM
well that depends on how much money I need is, if it is just small amount maybe I will wait for giveaway or rather I will just search a part time job in real world

I think as a person you must really look forward to these kind or type of problem, you must save something so when you are in a pinch like these, you can use that money. Waiting for a giveaway seems to be impossible, these is not a promo ina store or something, search a part time job, then if you are accepted, you can borrow money from your family or friends.

Definitely borrowing is one of the option, you can also sell some of your equipment to have money and cover the amount you needed.  Looking for a job should be done in the first place even if are not in desperate need for money.  It will earn you money and be able to supply the fund for your daily needs.
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: April 26, 2017, 09:50:31 PM
It is as many as how to earn money.  Though someone said the two category of earning money here (legal and illegal)  I would say there are lots of way but the best one is to find a job get payed and buy Bitcoin or get a job and be payed in Bitcoin.
1130  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Use Coinbase as a mixer? on: April 26, 2017, 09:30:00 PM
Why use Coinbase as an only option?  It would be better to have lots of option so that it will be more difficult tracking you transaction.  But if you ask me I would rather use the mixing services like bitmixer, bitblender and other legit services since they are actually for that kind of stuff.  You may pay a bit extra but that won't cost you that much.  Besides you only need to send your BTC once and the mixing service provider will send it to the designated address.
1131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: April 20, 2017, 11:51:26 PM
I keep my Bitcoin in my local wallet.  I use light wallets like electrum so that I do not have to download the whole blockchain.  And paperwallet for the Bitcoin that I intend not to spend for a very long time.
1132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if someday the network internet totally dead . on: April 20, 2017, 11:05:18 PM
what if someday when bitcoin has become the main payment instruments in the world. and how when the Internet network paralyzed. it means that we all can not perform various financial transactions? , is there any solution ?
i think this is can not happened because many people so smart to repair about network , they understand about it and they learn it..
so very impossible if network dead Smiley
There are few scenarios that can make that possible to make the network dead. One of the scenario is a war like world war three, if that happen then it will be a chaotic situation for us because a lot of structures will be destroyed and everything can be destroyed by the powerful weapons that the different country have. If this scenario will going to happen then it will be easy for them to make the network die.
hahaa world war three? you're kidding man?
may be you right because if world war three wll going to happen all in the round if die too Smiley
I will hate World War 3 to happen but it is not just a fantasy the possibility is there, just stop and think there have already been two world wars so a third one is not out of the question, in fact back in the day before the first world war, some were predicting that a conflict like no other was on the horizon no one believed them and they were right.

The possibility of world war is always there, one big mistake from a super powers will trigger a war where every country will be involved, this will certainly destroy lots of infrastructure and communication will be also affected.  The tendency of the network of internet to be down is possible and if Bitcoin has not found other way than internet to connect to then it will be a disaster to Bitcoin Network.  Network will stop, but it will not die since Bitcoin will always be there.
1133  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: April 19, 2017, 08:15:32 PM
Imagine this scenario: you take an extended trip to three foreign countries. You don’t exchange currencies or pay the fees to do so. You spend your money without ever taking it out of an ATM or paying international transaction fees.

Sounds convenient and cheap, right?

This scenario isn’t a pipe dream. It could be the future of international currency.

Well actually it is already happening.  With bitcoin in our stash and our destination are the three countries that greatly support Bitcoins, then we can just use our Bitcoin to pay for our expenses, either by converting them to the nation's money where we are at that current time.
1134  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: April 19, 2017, 07:39:52 PM
Holding bitcoin amount is really a profitable aspects of investments and you will have mo hard times convincing other people to buy products, and you only need is bitcoin balances in your wallet.

Lol have you ever tried to convince people to buy Bitcoin?  You know it is very frustrating?  Specially if you want to convince those who have a bad first impression of Bitcoin.

Adoption, this is the reason why Bitcoin have lots of benefits in saving a long time.  If we have saved enough, the bitcoin we saved can give us financial freedom.  Same way early adopters are experiencing now.
1135  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: April 19, 2017, 07:26:05 PM
I don't beleive in some theories presented here saying that governments are actualy contoling Bitcoin by buying large amount in th beginig with the aim to destroy Bitcoin. This is just another conspiracy theory. And Bitcoin is not that relevant to governments as some might think and they don't consider it as such big threath, they have biger issues. But it's true that recently governments are more interested in Bitcoin than before because they see their opportunity to have their peace of cake.

True, I find it amusing how great the imagination of people here in Bitcointalk.  Anyway, it is not logical to a government to spend a huge amount of money to buy Bitcoin and then destroy its market by dumping this bought Bitcoin.  That is just a waste of resources.
1136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: April 19, 2017, 06:54:03 PM
There are many ways to earn bitcoin and here are some of the ways on how I earn,
First is through signature campaign in this site, and also investment in some HYIP,
Trading some alt-coin,mining and some faucets.

Please can you update me on how to join a signature campaign? who can I find the most recent campaign? and how to I apply? any special thing to do to get me participate in the campaign? your responses will be very much appreciated, I was supposed to make this a post, but they kept deleting my posts and I don't know why. As for way to earn bitcoin? joining steemit.com will help. then exchange steem for bitcoin.

If you are into signature campaign, first you need to read the forum rule, then the signature campaign rule.  After that you can check Service section for Campaign that pay in Bitcoin and altcoin market for the campaign that pay in altcoin.  And make sure to read the campaign requirements and rules.
1137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jihan blocks segwit on LTC: price crashes on: April 18, 2017, 09:59:55 PM
The anti segwit moves keep crashing prices, but anti segwit deniers will still claim it has nothing to do with it.

https://twitter.com/peeticek/status/854091120812445696

At the same time, f2pool started signaling segwit on BTC, and the price automatically pumped to $1200

https://twitter.com/cnLedger/status/854231735386611712

Segwit support remains a solid reason of price increase.

So this is all about political agenda.  I wonder why they block segwit in Litecoin.  It would be best to let Segwit be activated in Litecoin and see the result.  I think they are afraid of Segwit since hey knew it is a game changer.  This definitely means what is happening in cryptocurrency is not about what is better but rather a political agenda for their own benefits.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any tricks for adding long addresses into android wallets? (NXT) on: April 17, 2017, 09:55:30 PM
I have the newest Nxt wallet and want to send the coins to an exchange.
Do I really have to type in that long message code,  after typing in the
long address?   That's about 50 characters of letters/numbers alternating on
a little android screen.

You can try the copy paste option of your android phone.  You can do the trick by sending it thru any messenger that is installed to your android phone from your PC.  I always tried that and it works somehow.  I don't know if there is any better method aside from that. Or if there is a QR available try to scan it.
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Noobs thoughts on BTC on: April 17, 2017, 08:58:31 PM

Litecoin has always been useless, their whole premise is wrong "litecoin is silver to btcoins gold"

the only reason you need silver, s because gold is very valueable and not easily divisible. Bitcoin is easily disable, so 'silver' isn't needed.

Litecoin has shorter block times, but that's not really an advantage anyway.

so litecoin will never get big, because it doesn't add anything new.

ETH will stay big, because it offers value, but it's not a currency and therefore not a bitcoin replacement.

bitcoin might stay big, if the blocksize debate gets solved soon enough. And if they can keep nnovating. Otherwise altcoins like dash will take over.

You got a point on LTC and ETH.  Litecoins being silver is not needed since Bitcoin can be divided and further divided if the developer wants it and consensus has been agreed.  ETH, I do not know but well it does not have any appeal to me.  Maybe because of its history and its distribution system.
1140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break $2000? because of Trump? on: April 13, 2017, 10:43:38 PM
One thing is certain, $2000 will break not because of trump but because of different country recognizing Bitcoin as either store of value or payment method.  This recognition will bring in millions of new investors to Bitcoin economy thus creating demand and eventually pushing Bitcoin price higher.
