It's so funny to see people spreading bad news....misleading information..... and for what reason?  to make you sell  one thing i learned over the last 4 years about, when you read bad news then HODL! when you read good news then HODL! and when you can't HODL anymore then buy more XMR is under real value and soon we will have a good price, we not there yet... EDIT: when mtgox stolen from me about 99% of my BTC with what i had and with new fiat i bought more ASICs and some more XMR and HODL. Heh... yeah, smart man. But aaaaaaaa! I'm in VEGAS, brother!! Vegas baby Vegas LOL What fun is that, walking around the casino just only keeping your money in your pocket?  I think he meant just decide what you're prepared to lose and take that... I used to do that until I won at Blackjack and loved it. Never went back after that - it was too delicious! They changed the dealer on me three times and I kept winning - then lost half on one card and realiied how much I had just lost. Took the rest and left. I have never been back. I realised I am too much of a gambler! I realized in 2011 that i can loose many in Santo Domingo, it was my 1st time on the BJ...imagine i did not know the basics and i was winning many thousands pesos and i loose ALL. was a fantastic lesson!!! after that i put in my pocket 400 euro and when i go i go for the fun and prepared to loose maximum this amount and not a euro more! EDIT: Vegas....yes i never been there... i promised to some friends that if i see anything back from my goxed coins will have a visit |

Well well well...! Greetings, gentlemen! I haven't been able to post in the last couple days -- wife and I took a hop out to Vegas to watch the ECLIPSE yesterday out it the desert -- but certainly been watching the XMR party on my phone with much overdue satisfaction. Just 'bout friggin' time here, we've started to catch up to where we ALL KNOW we should've long since been, by now. Congratulations to all HODL'ers, and yep I wish I had not lost all my XMR paper wallets last month when they blew overboard off that sailboat. Damn my luck. Just remember a retrace is not the end of the world if we pullback a bit. I've noted elsewhere that seems like lately we rachet-up about ten bucks a month, and things have been stagnant for about 3-4 months around the $40-$50 range... SO if we settle down for a little while around $70-$80 that'd prolly be just fine as it's simply making up the "missing" two or three $10-month-rachets, and we're just back to normal. Onward and upward  P.S. Lost a little money on the damn blackjack games here in Lost Wages, Nevada last night but WTF no problem, HoneyPony's got my back Every time i visit casino i put in my pockets the money that i want to lose if you want it... Well, all of us had some reason to enter this market, and i can tell you for sure was not something that is called stupidity.
You can call it feeling, you can call it luck, however you like it. But it's proven to be the right thing!
I had the feeling to enter in Monero about 2 years before and i did that. Now with this small uptrend i felt the same in the early days of bitcoin.
I am sure we can see 200 level and more and if we don't will be a huge surprise for me.

If you received a lot of low-value outputs then it will cost more. It is possible to send 17 XMR or more for much less than 0.26 XMR, even with the default fee (around 0.014 XMR is a typical fee on the network right now), if it isn't made up of a lot of small pieces. 2. Using the low priority fee setting the fee can be much lower, around 0.20 EUR, but the wait for confirmation will be longer during periods of high load. @pönde moneroblocks and chainradar are both broken. xmrchain.net and minergate.com/blockchain/xmr/blocks appear to be working. Keep your coins in your wallet. Do not sell coins. Monero has good support in darknet. The price will definitely grow +1 on that, was not long time before i wrote we are going double from the level we was and we not reached that yet... easy got 150$ minimum soon |

For the past year i read news that all the rich people around the planet buying underground shelters ready for nuclear war.... i have no feelings but i think is a great move if you have the money. Most of the people when read those news laugh but almost all times those people not have any effect on what will happen or not ..... sheeps in field are not free ...and outside have worlfs etc etc.... so i choose not to laugh with those news and hope we can live in peace end MOST important have time to enjoy our fruits from BTC !!!! |

No it's wrong. I don't think BTC was ever mined using GPUs. LTC however yes, and ETC/ETH. The ETH bubble until June cause a shortage of GPUs and helped both AMD and nvidia financially. I need to inform you that back n the early days that was THE ONLY way to mine BTC ( and CPU also ) HODL your BTC !!! we are going higher from here |

do btc need to be moved in order to claim bcash? is there a deadline until this needs to be done or can one claim bcash let´s say in 2 years? 5 years?
nope but to move the bcash you have to expose your private keys. that would be a very stupid thing to do with an unknown wallet. anyone redeeming them should move their btc out before doing so. assuming your btc was in the wallet on the fork date, the bcash will always be linked to those private keys. Like ECB said, the Bcash will always be linked to those private keys..but the longer you wait, the more chance there is that Bcash $ value will plummet (unless you think the value will rise from here) OF COURSE those wallets are now empty from BTC!!! i am not crazy i want to sell now that has a price before it gets to the bottom... i not have illusions that this alt will go up.... |

What did i do ? Now, there`s nearly 9000 bitcoins on lending at polo. I shat in my own nest But the 5 percent won´t come anymore. Sorry. I have been lending since May. 9000BTC is not that high, around 15000BTC was the norm before the last couple of weeks. The rates are crazy low right now though, probably because trading activity is down. Still have 7BTC lent at 3-5%. Oh no... my free money
