Doesn't matter who is Satoshi... the problem is the auto correction that every time i write his name put a red line under and i don't like that ! He is the "one" with the programmers that was the reason to be all of us here today. a big thanks maybe is not enough i don't think we will ever again have news from him, he don't need speak to us... we was much better when we was stable and at lower prices...this rally for up the last month is something that will have a correction and maybe bigger from what we saw today.. in my personal opinion this is not finished yet
Price is not stable at lower... The price will be stable when there is enough liquidity. E.T.F. will bring significant amount of liquidity which in turn will drive the price to the moon and perhaps beyond. Some hedgefunds are not interested in Bitcoin (not to mention to Monero) because the markets are too thin and even 100 million usd (which is a play money for an institutional investor) will drive the price of bitcoin nuts. If E.T.F. will get approved (which is unlikely), the price might rise as high as 100 000+ usd especially if the E.T.F. will get funds. When in the history of this planet the simple people had the power to do things like this? can you imagine an early adopter that holds 500 BTC or lets say something like 20BTC? You really believe the people who run the show on the system will allow this to happen ? can you imagine 100.000+ usd x 20 or 100? who think they will let create millionaires just like that? not that i not believe it or i am pessimistic or anything like that. But really do you believe they will let this happen so easily ? |

no matter the block size that i will not comment, talking about the price movement today we have a massive movement and a downtrend seriously. put the charts in the 15 minutes or 1 day doesn't matter. there a a good bounce back at this moment but prove me wrong i think that in some exchanges happened and is happening a very good organized sell...
i don't care about ETF and never will since we don't really need it. the point is that we all realized today that our dream to the moon need wait, and we don't know for how long.
If you are holder you don't care but if you are trader you may or have not won money today or lost but the fact is that many people don't like this volatility. Keep in mind...

Can someone explain we what is going on? For the last few days everyone was talking about EFT, but today from few hours you are talking about some "BU", "Antpool", "pool"and other stuff. I'm pretty new in BTC and I don't understand what you are taking about, could someone help me?
I wouldn't know how to summarize or distill it further as you have to be somewhat familiar with bitcoin to grasp it. Bottom line if you are a new user. You are safe if you keep your coins off online wallets and exchanges as this blows over. Secure them in Hard ware wallets if you can or an offline computer. Why do you recommend this ? Some people are here to trade and invest and buy-sell- sell-buy... why if i have coins to the exchange i maybe have problem? ( don't tell me is not safe like gox we all know that but it's the price to pay if something happen in case of hacker - or government we know that, at least we took a lesson with gox ) but what this have to do? |

We are currently in a moment that will be written in historical books and many people already collect data on that. The fiat is in many countries something you can't find as you should. ( take example of many European countries that the maximum paper you can find is the 50 euro - very hard to see anymore the 100 or the 200 and the 500 we know they stopped from the market ).
Many banks now promote the application they made to send money to each other from the application using the email of the recipient or the telephone number. What i want say with this is that they already preparing the ground for electronic transactions. I do believe in the use of fiat money up to some levels, this is a very big conversation of course.. not without control because this can lead to other problems, but for example the 85 years old grandfather NEED use fiat and general the generation after 50 years old minimum as many of them never learned how to use electronic systems for payments. The Bitcoin is the future that we already live and as the time passes will be more and more part of our everyday life, the clever house, the clever office and general all the clever appliances and systems will be hand in hand with bitcoin and block chain. The point is that we need everyone prepare the future and understand the present.. we need have fiat for many years more, but some years after yes this question will be like joke if you believe in Fiat.... BUT when this time comes maybe we have a different question, this can be: do you believe you feel more free with Bitcoin or in the past with Fiat?
