By the way, I thought that I read somewhere that Tibanne, MtGOX's parent firm, convinced the MtGOX liquidator that a certain portion of the remaining bitcoins belonged to Tibanne and not to MtGOX, and so they should not be part of the liquidation.  Has anyone seen that, or was it only a bad dream?
where have you found that?Huh?
what the F@CK is going on?Huh if this is true what are we waiting to receive?Huh? probably nothing?Huh and Mark is tweeting cats??

Found it (I wasn't dreaming!).  But it is "only" 200 kUSD:

http://www.goxdox.org/2014/07/magicaltux-strikes-again-tibanne-takes.html
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/29u6dt/goxdoxorg_magicaltux_strikes_again_tibanne_takes/

However it is quite strange that Tibanne gots its claim served (in full?) before the other clients.  Especially considering that the sole owner of Tibanne is the former CEO of the company being liquidated.

In 2 days we have the creditors meeting among the other's i think we MUST have reply on that......

Google the title and the entire article will come up.
Sounds very much like the OKCoin proposal with a new twist or two.
Thanks!

I really cannot see why a new exchange would honestly want to present itself as "MtGOX reborn" or buy any asset from MtGOX.  Would be like a US presidential candidate legally changing his name to "Richard M. Nixon Two".   (I can think of several very bad reasons for that, though.)

Well, my feeling is that Sunlot may distribute a small fraction of the bitcoins that clients lost (which will make many of those people happy, paradoxically), and they will split among clients according to the unfair final-balance criterion; and that will be it.  There will be no real investigation, no public explanation of what happened, and no one will be prosecuted.  The old management and any clients who cooperated with MtGOX's unethical behavior will get a fat share of what is left, and whoever stole the rest of the coins will walk away, free and rich, with the motivation and resources to commit even bigger crimes.  \

But the reputation of Bitcoin will not suffer, only because it cannot possibly get any worse.

we all have our feeling on that and are all accepted.

but i want to add that my feeling is that EVEN if Mark is not responsible ( let's say for a moment that he isn't ok ? ) i think that some people ( that lost money & BTC on MtGox ) will not leave him just walk around with limo and tweeting from Tokyo etc.... they will have much more clear solution....

There are a lot of things that push to go back to normal.... RETURN ALL BTC back to customers even if it takes time is the ONLY solution....

Has the form for claims been released yet?

it will be published on www.mtgox.com but nothing yet....

( remember on 23th there is the meeting ... ) if we see this form will be after that......

BUT

we might don't even see this form as my feeling tells me they will recover MtGox.com and find also the lost bitcoins ( it's a matter of prestige for the Bitcoin community ). Don't blame me for my feeling and don't reply to say bla bla bla... i repeat is just my feeling....

as we all know he can't leave the country for now. i think we have to be little patient for now....

i am one of many that lost life savings by MtGox because i believed them. now i hope only of savegox and the others take over and give us back our bitcoins.

Now about Mark if the irc chats where true and now with the tweet's i think he want to say something but as long as this "something" is not clear to all of our customers and as long as we don't have our BTC in OUR wallets the better for him is not to make us more ungry than we are already.....

there are people around the world that would kill if someone did something like that on them.... and i have read a lot about this in this forum....

894  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: May 29, 2014, 01:48:20 PM
Today I noticed that www.gox.com isn't redirecting anymore to www.mtgox.com. I last checked last wednesday, so somewhere between 21th and 27th someone deleted it.

also can't find registrar information..... such as for example on mtgox.com that up to now the owner seems to be Mark.....

http://www.coindesk.com/mt-gox-revival-plan-hit-objection-creditor-coinlab/

some news on the case of Mt.Gox....

One is sure... we have missing BTC ( OUR BTC ) and everybody is playing with us .... nothing clear....

someone or many are getting paid to have all this is my sence.... and of course are getting paid with our stolen Bitcoins.....

as i said is just my feeling.....
896  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: May 22, 2014, 04:42:23 PM
very good spot of what we read at the last announcement....

general sence is: leave as alone don't call us don't email us ( of course no support ticket as the had gone away too )

so let us sell YOUR BTC and pay anyone WE WANT....

They must f@cking playing with us.....

We need a solution and we need it fast i think.... What about a bomb?? hahaha

Guys things are getting very very serious with this and we still don't know WHERE ARE OUR BITCOINS!!!
897  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: May 21, 2014, 05:21:51 PM
thanks for prompt reply....

Now let me ask something.....Brock Pierce with SaveGox.com as i read before 2 days said is on the way for rehabilitate MtGox.com and you can read here: http://www.coindesk.com/brock-pierce-bitcoin-foundation-will-not-step-down/

Is the update we read on MtGox.com a refusing answer on rehabilitate or just something that had to be announced and savegox.com efforts have still time to make it happen?
898  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: May 21, 2014, 04:15:54 PM

yes thank you for the info i saw it also couple  of hours ago.... i want to mention at the last lines this:

" It is possible that, on investigation of your claims as provided in the Bankruptcy Act of Japan, your claims may not be approved. "

WHAT THE F@@CK is that?Huh Means that ok i have for example 200 BTC and by the time it's time to get something back if they decide i will take nothing?Huh??

899  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: May 20, 2014, 11:31:14 AM
So what is the current status on SEPA withdraw delays from MtGox? Does it currently take long to withdraw EUR from MtGox using SEPA? Is doing arbitrage between MtGox and Bitstamp and make a buck on the price premium a good idea? Do you know, Sturles?

What's this??? Since the MtGox is not yet back on line how do you speak for SEPA withdrawals?Huh Is there any news that i don't know?
