202  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Mt. Gox Settlement Offer on: May 10, 2017, 06:42:55 PM
AFAIK the distribution will be done according to the converted JPY.
We are locked on this.
It doesn't matter anymore how much Bitcoins you had there. All the % that we are speaking is for this converted ammount you have now in JPY.
203  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: May 10, 2017, 03:28:09 PM
yes yes of course! DDOS is the most convenience lie out there or truth Smiley

After i was goxed i did trade to kraken and poloniex since then, as we all the the price mooooning i stoped all trading and moved out my funds.
i left very little to poloniex. at the end of the day we have 0% guarantee for our funds when they are on any exchange....
When you play some thousands of euros like i heard from other users and the website goes down you can't hear DDOS... they know they are target and they get commision on every single trade....they MUST have solution to keep on running.....

anyway... may i please ask what is the biggest % on buying claims of gox??
204  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Mt. Gox Settlement Offer on: May 10, 2017, 03:22:32 PM
Regarding the proposal,i personally found it like joke....
As the price goes up there are many scenarios that we will get more than 70% in payout... and in one very dream scenario if price goes more that 2000 and stay there then theoretically
we can have the 100% payout.. so the offer here is way out of thinking!

I certainly can't argue with your hopes and dreams. From a fundamental perspective, in trying to value this is an investment, setting aside any emotional bias, I have to price in the nightmare scenario. And what if the price reverses? Drops to 500. And coinlab gets a chunky settlement. Have we any indication as to what Kobayashi's bill will be? If a US trustee administered a $400mln bankruptcy for 5 years that number would be in the 10s of millions for him and his staff.

All I'm saying is, if you're going to do scenario analysis, consider them all, I did. And then I'd like to make at least 15-20% return to hold on to this for x number of years with zero liquidity, which I'm using as my required rate of return to price the instrument.

I will concede that given the recent rally, while as a contrarian I think is completely propped up, does increase expected value for me. Last trade we did was @ 36%.

If you think it will pay 70 - Then really you should be countering at 50-55. Why is what you think going to happen perfectly valid but my thinking is a joke? Easy to sell something, much harder to make an offer.

I have to admit that you did spend much more time to answer to me from the time that i spend to write before.
There are some points that maybe you are right and others that not. I can comment that the offer of 50% is something that i would for sure take time to think. the numbers i gave is only for example.
anyway, more is happening from what you mentioned and i do think that we will receive more than 50-55% you wrote. if all goes well for all of us one day in the near or long future will be here to write how much we did received. the fact that as the time pass more and more people willing to buy our claims is something that need put us on thinking all of us we have claims there.
i wish you all the best in your investment!

EDIT: can you tell me if decide to proceed for example how i guarantee that i will take the money will agree?

I've made a related post under Mt. Gox Settlement Offer. If anyone is tired of waiting, or is concerned of the long term value of staying the course with the Tokyo folks, I can buy your position.

It is tough to price given the massive rally BTC is on. But happy to start a dialogue, as I don't think this will end anytime soon.

Good morning! Can you give en estimate to understand your proposal.
To be more realistic let's say for example i have 100 BTC in accepted claims and 20.000euro in Fiat.
What is your offer to buy my position.

--------

Regarding the Poloniex i don't know what is going on but everytime STR went too up the website like magic went down... same thing with Ripple...
Now what i noticed is that Poloniex had about 34.000 users on line and was running good... and the problem of lag or not work at all was happening with 29.000 users..
can be the many orders that caused the problem? who knows... to me was like gods hand was playing with the switch Smiley anyway...i could not afford 2nd time loose my money so i withdraw everything out!
207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 08, 2017, 06:15:48 PM
i read now the last replies regarding the fees and how long you wait etc etc...
i maybe live in another world because the maximum i wait when deposit to exchange or send back etc is never more than 1 hour about....
and i never have problem to pay some small amount...
the question is .. where do we go from now regarding the price??
208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 02, 2017, 07:46:15 PM
to all this history rewind please don't forget that all the early adopters ( almost ) had an account in MtGox....
IF and when this will finish and we get some of our BTC back then the mood is going to change also Smiley
Most of the people that was there tried the next years to win some btc by trading alts...
209  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: May 02, 2017, 04:57:20 PM
come on people why you keep saying there is not such thing and it's lie and you will loose your money etc etc....
where do you live ? you don't have the same and the same politicians in your country?
everyone keep saying there is no way that we have those politicians they will never be again on the next election but they keep coming again and again..
never say never ! of course there is a good way to have this ammount! 1st and one of the most risky is to trade!
210  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: May 01, 2017, 06:31:54 PM
I am earning more then that amount by trading altcoins but for getting that income I have also invested huge capital in altcoins so even if there is small fluctuation in the price I can make good profits if I have good capital invested.

did you see that coming today on the altcoins land? RED candles everywhere Smiley
investing huge capital means huge profits and huge damages Smiley ok maybe tomorrow situation be better Smiley
211  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: April 30, 2017, 09:04:08 PM
regarding the 0.1 per week there is a good proposal that i told to myself 2 weeks before that i decided to buy some ETH and ETC and XRP...
turned out that in 2 weeks i made much more that 0.1 Smiley keep your eyes open and take the risk!
212  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: April 30, 2017, 09:02:43 PM
I began to think that this is the right time to invest in large numbers. Seeing the current state, bitcoin prices continue to rise, and this probably will not stop until the end of the year. May have 5 btc or more will be very profitable in times that would be virgin

if and i repeat IF this % continues like the past 1-2 years regarding the price and of course the acceptance then in the next years the people that can have 1 full BTC or more will be on the side of the ones that will have made one of the best things in their life
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 29, 2017, 07:26:52 PM
for about a week now my computer time is very limited...today i checked the price and we are at ~1200 EURO Smiley
pretty nice !! any good news for that ?

No just natural growth I would say.
Furthermore I would look more at the dollar charts as this is most use currency on this planet.
Forget about the shitty euro. A few more years and this stupid EU artificial currency won't exist anymore.

I live in Europe and this is the reason i do the math in EUR ..... but i will have to agree that is shitty in every aspect...... the currency is not the only one that will not exist, my opinion is that many countries will go out of the euro zone in the next years....
214  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: April 29, 2017, 07:15:55 PM
The best time to invest is when the market is on trend and the coins are hot, then that is a good time to invest because if you invest on a hot market and it means that the coin has a high possibility for the price to increase even more because one of the reason why people are investing is the volume and when a coin is active and hot then the volume is big so it will be easy for that coin to increase price and you will gain profit.

well, like you describe te situation now we have 2-3 hot alts that have hot market situation...and this happened in past also and after some days going back to normal. and after 1 month the same scenario etc etc... but bitcoin is hot for many years now Smiley some times more some times less but in general is the most hot coin ever Smiley TO DA MOON Smiley

216  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: April 18, 2017, 10:20:55 PM
Yes i find it logical only until the part of the story you described.. because in my opinion the next part is a dump and get their money back, talking not for all but for the most of them...you saw the Kraken email?
Kraken is pleased to offer new international wire options to fund accounts with US dollars (USD), British pounds (GBP), and euros (EUR).
217  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: April 18, 2017, 07:44:42 PM
what is your opinon regarding the Bitfinex situation and the price? you see a recover after those news?
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 17, 2017, 05:51:32 PM
since easter i was not in computer and maybe i missed some news but may i please ask you to explain why you say this for Kraken?

I'm not talking about Kraken, it's Bitfinex. But Bitfinex certainly has a less horrible design than Kraken. I can't believe they think that UI is good enough.

i don't like what i will write now but for me the best ui was the gox one Smiley and this is the reason maybe i wait for the results Smiley
now, regarding the kraken one i use it for long time now..the BIG problem of kraken is that is VERY slow.....
219  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: April 17, 2017, 05:33:31 PM
the way i see after some days of is like is stragling to stay at this level and not that we have upwards trend.. my opinion Smiley
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 17, 2017, 05:25:56 PM
More fun tokens for everyone to enjoy? I'm still getting over its return to the top after a hack of that magnitude. What do/did they have that other exchanges don't? Is it the combination of volume and margin?

I've never used it but it was certainly less horrific on the eye than Kraken is.

since easter i was not in computer and maybe i missed some news but may i please ask you to explain why you say this for Kraken?
