Demand grows every day, as user count keeps increasing and HODLers trying to increase there stashes...

Now keep posting and don't leave again Tongue

Last time that futures enabled we had the great decline in price as far as i can remember but this futures are completely different... wait for it...

a small help please,
i have a wallet that has x monero inside. i want to send all available balance to another address.
how i do that? can i import the wallet to a GUI (if there is any) and do it or need command like it used to be.

EDIT: i went to https://web.getmonero.org/downloads/#windows

and installed Current Version: 0.14.1.0 Boron Butterfly.

I can import the old wallet and what i do after to sell all available balance?  also what type of wallet i must choose to be safe (1 - Simple   2- Simple (bootstrap or 3- Advanced mode)?   and what is the free size i must have in my pc?

Use sweep_all to send everything from wallet.
https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/7966/how-to-use-the-sweep-all-command-with-options-like-ring-size-or-priority

It's better to use 3-Advanced Mode, but you will have longer sync time. If you don't want to wait, 1-Simple should be fine.

thanks,... not have problem waiting... i will have to use sweep_all to the GUI or this is valid only for the command prompt?

you help please,

does it means that we can mine monero with ASIC miners?
I used to mine with GPU's until last year, and i have some asic waiting.
Or can someone please inform what changed or will change with simple words.

thanks

The Monero dev team is trying to make it difficult to build a working ASIC for Monero.  They want Monero to be mined with CPUs. This is meant to avoid mining centralization.

Thanks so much for the simple explaination...
So this means that CPUs will be better from GPUs ? And will be available to more users of course yes?

Today there was an update on www.mtgox.com regarding the telephone support and email support. you can see here:
http://www.mtgox.com/img/pdf/20190409_announcement.pdf

the other news is that in one creditors group the representative has sold his claim and of course he is not anymore the representative of that group.
I will personally invite you to be aware and keep strong. Everyone wants to put his hands in our coins and cash..

people the last period tried to inject themselfs or tried to manipulate... the second comes from influencer ....

i'll give an example...... let's say i want buy many MtGox claims... but people not selling at the price i want ? what i can do?

easy... i will try to change mind of a well  known person, idealy the representative of a group... how? offering him money...

REMEMBER - everyone has a price Smiley so that representative after can put me in contact with people that now willing to sell...

even better if that representative says public that he sold Smiley that can change people minds....

p.s. i do not speak for any specific representative.  all the above is just a senario...taken from real life or not, it remains a senario..

Last week the trustee published the non-exchange claims. In them it appears there is a claim of $16bn which the Trustee has rejected. If the applicant(s) of this/these claim(s) chose to dispute the Trustee's decision there could well be a delay while the merits of the claims are litigated infront of a judge.

This situation is comparable to Coinlab's claim under bankruptcy. In that it seems at first glance spurious and that it prevents any distribution of funds. My current view is that it's a strategically made claim, designed specifically to block distribution to creditors in order to leverage a settlement from the Trustee.

I'm waiting for legal advice on the timeframe we can expect for a dispute to be settled.

Any update on that??

i had some money waiting for about 8 months now... i could not resist... i bought XMR all of them...
in MY opinion that was a great buying opportunity.

Placed sell order at double price from where we are now.

Hi all.

Please little help - info.... i have not been able to keep updated with the forks and general news... i know there was some forks but i do not know anything else...

so my question is... if someone did not move the coins for the past years is ok if choose to move later on or need do something now ?

You dont need to move coins ever. They will stay there as long are secured them good enough that someone else will not move them instead of you.     Forks in Monero are just protocol upgrades.

Thank you for info... i had this in my mind but just in case i missed something i thought is better to ask....

my greetings after long time,

just a question. is Monero going up because of the upcoming fork ?

Monero forked weeks ago.

Really?? how is that? https://monerov.org/  clearly says ~30th of April 2018... and as far as i know we are on 22th of April today.

You speak for another fork?

He was talking about the REAL fork where monero upgraded from ASICs back to CPU/GPU ... this is just a shitcoin fork ... look @ XMO or XMC they didnt go anywhere

I was not following the news for some period, thanks for the other forks info.
I keep some coins and i haven't sync them for 1 year since i do not want to sell no matter before  2020...

Can you please explain me how the limits work? If i make a every day a withdrawal of 2.000$ and in 5 days i complete the 10.000$ limit per month. the last withdrawal took place at 22/04/2018. when i will be able to withdraw again? 01 of May or 23 of May?

Hi bitcoinvest. The withdrawal limits are based on the past 30 rolling days, meaning that in this example you would be able to withdraw $2000.00 on May 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd, bringing you to a total of $10,000 withdrawn again, 30 days after these withdrawals.

If you would like higher limits I would suggest getting Tier 3 or Tier 4 verified. Please let us know if you need anything else!

Thank you, you answered my question, i am impressed with the reply time...

are you ready to go under 7500 euro / BTC? this is optimistic Smiley my prediction for the next 1-3 days is under 7000eur

Good night bitcoin land!

Wow, i feel i need to quote my last post, turns out that my feeling was right....
i read very many times bad words for peoples opinion and almost never a good word when our predictions are right....
i wonder why......

I just double quoted myself. not want to say more than: i told you so...yet, i nothing had back like a simple thank you....
more easy for people to write stupid things like close your mouth etc etc...

I will not say anything more. i registered here and speak from time to time many years before and i support bitcoin since the early days.
I want to wish good luck to everybody.Remember 1 Btc is NOTHING, 1 BTC worth also nothing, the reason of worthing anything is me you and everyone else... keep that in mind, not the wall street boys bot the goverments not aliens Smiley lol
again good luck and do not invest more than you are ready to lose forever...
