and they predict bitcoin can go to the month again in December 2018
and there are some media that say the price of bitcoin will go down and this news makes investors afraid to buy bitcoin.

Media just use bitcoin for their publicity and manipulation so don't bother about them if you believe in the technology, the crypto, the bitcoin then just do what you wanted to do with your money. I personally will hodl bitcoin and may buy during the dip even |

Bitcoin was once dominant in the crypto market being pioneer of crypto currencies.Then it started to lose its dominance gradually due to the entrance of hundreds of new coins. Bitcoin's dominance was at its lowest at 36.1 percent. I see and observe recently that many ICOs are below the ICO price when they touch the exchange. Do you think it's a smart step to wait for an exchange and buy the tokens you want?
If that particular ICO which you want to participate is giving an extra bonus to big investors then see if you can find people who wants to invest in that ICO and try to pool it that way you can grab the lucrative bonus. Otherwise seeing the recent trend its better to wait till it hits exchanges and gets dump and then pick it up at a cheaper price. |

So many people are interested in amassing wealth without giving a dime to the less privilege around them, yet they will still be among the first to criticize the government in its failure to eradicate hunger and poverty in the country. You should also know that the duty of eradicating poverty must not be left to the government alone. You must also contribute your quota.
If you have worked to be wealthy or lucky to be one, you should see it as a social responsibility to help the less privileged people in the society. If I may ask, do you feel comfortable driving past several beggars on the street when you have billions of money in your account that you or your entire family may not be able to exhaust in the next 100 years?
Think about this seriously. With the so much money in the world, poverty can greatly be reduced if not totally eradicated.
All that is necessary is the distribution of this wealth.
There is enough to go round.

You must not necessarily give physical cash or money directly in order to help the poor or the less privileged. You can set up an empowerment scheme where they could be empowered or work to earn a living for themselves. It is like teaching them how to fish instead of offering them the fish directly to eat. I guess it is best that way.
Eradicating poverty completely is very much possible with the efforts you mentioned but I also do feel some beggars do it on intention as they don't want to work hard for their living and they find it easy to beg(Not in all cases of course). Governments and people are doing it as much as possible to help eradicate it by making NGO's and self-awareness centers and many other things. Lastly, a person has to be determined to push himself out of poverty the help which he needs to do that will definitely be supplied from some sources. |

As we can see each and every transaction for bitcoin is publicly registered to the blockchain where in all of us have access, so I am just thinking if anonymity or providing privacy will be the next move for bitcoin. Just my thoughts, you can add yours here and let's discuss it.
Anonymity is not a concern for bitcoin at the moment and there is other better option already available for private transactions. Next move for bitcoin will be the more precise scalability so that the network does not get congested when demands get high. Also to reduce the transaction fees as low as possible. |

Agree with you on the points that people are investing in crypto only and in some high cases, people are going all in into crypto by taking loans mortgaging houses which I feel is very stupid decision to make. As this space is very new and market capitalization is mere $200 billion at the moment. So it can go either way from here so putting all funds in crypto is not safe at all.
As OP mentioned diversification is really important and I personally think you should only put 10% or below 10% of your total funds available for investing into crypto.

With cryptocurrency, no bank or other institution or regulation will protect you in the event of a loss.
Yeah, all the above-mentioned things will make you lose your crypto coins so its better if your holding is worth more than 500$ then go for a ledger nano s or trezor hardware wallet to keep your funds safe trust me its worth it. Apart from these, you can also get poor if you trade recklessly so better be up to the mark if you come to this game. |

How do you select what you invest your precious satoshi's in?
Free signals? Paid signals? Own TA? Depth charts? Pure luck? Acting on regular volatility?
Personally, my tipple of choice is depth charts. Would be happy to debate the relative merits and hear how other people make it work for them.
How do you protect against dumps (Bart!)? How do you pick the coins you want to analyse? Are you successful?
Initially, I used to follow the signals channels but I learned the hard way that they are not the one to go for. Now I try to do my own TA and mostly I act on the regular volatility of the coins which I have studied and believe in them. |

Banks will have a role to play in future also for sure even if the digital currency is recognized as legal the banks will integrate and implement blockchain into their system and coins like ripple will help to serve that cause. |

The forum is full of topics - “When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $...”, “Why BTC is under $...?”, “Final bottom at $...”, “Why BTC is down again?”, “Bitcoin will rise again ?” etc. The last two topics may appear in various forms a dozen times a day.
I looked at graph price of BTC out of curiosity. I have noted to the price floor:
2015 - $200+
2016 - $300+
2017 - $700+
2018 - $5000+
Do you see something frightening in it?
We all can see that price drops because of actions by a Governments and big whales. Because they have the means and opportunities. They want to break into the our market on advantageous terms for them. Okay, well, I mean, that makes sense. We knew it would happen. But why that have to affect us?
In December 2017, the most people said - "Why I didn't buy BTC for $500… for $1000… f#ck it!.. for $2000...", "I will definitely buy BTC if it costs $7k-6k!..". But now when the price drops so well for us, we see "The demand for BTC is dropping". Seriously?!
So, instead to take advantage of the situation, buy up coins and altcoins, attract new people in crypto world more active than before, a lot of people stuck in indecision and think whether crypto market falls to the bottom and stays there.
Guys, are you serious? Crypto world is made by us. Governments and big whales haven’t any tricks to rule our world. It will happen only if we do nothing.

I cannot agree with you more on the point that people were saying why they did not buy bitcoin cheaper and when it is cheap now they are getting frightened and showing negativity actually now is the time to buy them as all the good coins are at very low prices and when the good time comes you wont regret of not buying them at bargain rates. |

honestly, there does not seems to be any hype at the moment there was ETF hype but that also is drying out now as most people know what the decision of SEC is going to be. ETF is not coming until 2019 this is what people know now. But this is crypto and you never know when the hype may begin it just requires bitcoin price to move upward direction for few days and we will see a new hype. |

every time I see my portfolio, surely I will always be surprised because the price of altcoin that I hold must always go down (red), and now the price of ETH down until the price of $ 380, I am confused what happened, but it has been almost 4 months market price does not rise- up, what do you think the cause of the market price is not rising?
This a cyclical phase of the market and we are probably in the phase of despair as there is not much confidence in the market people are not willing to put their money into crypto as they were doing back in 2017. So we have to wait for this phase to complete and then we might have the good green days. |

Are you participating in a signature campaign? You observe that there is a condition that you have to meet.
(a) You must make 15 constructive posts per week. (b) You must make 10 constructive posts per week! as it may apply. I am not against this condition but the next one is what I am concerned with.
If you don't reach 10/15 (as the case may be) posts before the end date, you will not receive any stake for the current week.
My question is, what happens to someone who makes 9 posts in case (a), and 13 posts in case (b)? Is it fair to deny anyone who has made more than 75% post for the week? Could there be a somewhat reward for such people?
Please share your thoughts. What will be the best way to reward signature campaign?
I have observed of course as that is mentioned in the rules when we participate in any campaign and yes I somehow feel cheated when that happens when you fall short with only 1 post. But then again rules are rules and we need to follow them otherwise there is no relevance of having rules. |

Last year, bitcoin has increased from the beginning of the year to the end of the year...And this year is quite the opposite.
Or maybe We have been waiting so long... so that we are delusional to something that is not real.
people have been speculating a bull run every month like in the month of may the bull was expected in June then July, August, september and it is going on and on and now people are saying EOY will be a bullrun the truth is no one is able to predict the market at the moment. The responses in here were mainly hysteric screaming of "FUD".
It is now clear from more and more posts in here that people who came late to the bubble-party are in losses on their Bitcoins. Well, told you so.
This is not the time to HODL. The party is over. Your choice is whether to sell now and take a loss, or wait until you have lost everything.
I wish I had seen this post back in February eventually your point proved to be true till now. I don't second your comment of the bubble though but we could have cut our losses back then. nevertheless, now the only option is to hodl as the portfolio is ripped of currently no point of cutting losses anymore. |

Lately I have noticed some good news and bad news about Bitcoin. Many people think that bad news will make the price of Bitcoin "go down" and good news will make the price of Bitcoin "Rise". So on this topic I would like to discuss "How much the power of news can affect the Bitcoin price?" I appreciate your answers and responses. Thanks  The news plays their part mostly in the downward direction which is what I have noticed especially in the recent market condition and i do feel the big players takes the advantage of such things and manipulates the market for bitcoin market. For altcoins, it is usually an up and down trend regarding the news the good news pulls the price up and vice versa. But that also does not seems to be working in the current market. |

Anytime i see some members of this forum asking "Is Bitcoin dead"?, or "Is this the fall of bitcoin" i just become speechless because it is so shocking to hear that within just six months when bitcoin improved the financial status of people last year without any hard sweating people have forgotten about it so soon. I now understand the saying that "Men forgets easily". Well i can't really blame them but I know the few Real Crypto Enthusiasts like myself still believe in BITCOIN and we are going to keep investing in it because we know that the its value will rise with time.
I think they have not forgotten bitcoin they have just got under the shell after getting hit by massive portfolio rip off. You will see them all coming back with bitcoin to the moon etc tags  when the market recovers a bit and bull run begins. |
