221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Negotiation with government on: August 27, 2018, 02:45:34 PM
What if people convince governments of their nations to make Bitcoin as a legal currency or what if we agree to give tax on our bitcoin income? Will government then make Bitcoin a legal currency.

Its hard to convince them governments are for the people and by the people but they hardly care much about our view. In my country exchanges are put to stop transacting with banks but there have been some appeals which are pending for the approval of crypto and to regulate them. But i am not very much hopeful of positive response anytime soon.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: Isnt it time to give up cryptocurrency ranking on: August 26, 2018, 09:33:06 AM
agree with you as the ranking is based on the market cap and that can be easily manipulated and we have seen such instances before like Tron(trx) was in top 10 in no time and many noobs bought it at that price considering its tanking and hype at that moment and it went down from there very quickly too and now holding its position at 12.

In my idea, there has to be some other way of ranking or there should be no ranking at all.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy more ETH? on: August 26, 2018, 08:24:19 AM
Eth has with all the other altcoins corrected hard and it is definitely a good time to accumulate it as it is going to rebound hard when the market goes green and we move towards the higher market cap. Probably next month would be good altcoins if BTC stays stable.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what causes the price of crypto down on: August 25, 2018, 05:46:03 PM
I have long felt the price of crypto down, I am panicked to see the current market situation, please tell me, what causes the price of crypto down?

There are many reasons which drive the price of cryptos to slump. One of the major reasons is there is no regulation and actual use cases of the majority of crypto coins and their price is based on pure speculation which drives the prices on either direction with vast volatility on the occurrence of any news which creates FUD.
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish again? (Back at $5500) on: August 25, 2018, 05:23:24 PM
The Bitcoin pirce trend has always been clamped within $5500-6000. The spike pricing $7000 was too synthetic since an increase if 1k in a day was a bit sketchy. Will we ever see pricing skyrocketing again? What are your thoughts?

The current situation looks very despair no confidence in the market at all. And now we are looking forward to the catalyst of CBOE's ETF in late September other than that situation is quite worst. So yes we may see some spike in the prices in the mid-September and then a slump again if ETF is extended again which is more likely to happen.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Could Hit $1 Trillion This Year on: August 24, 2018, 05:35:51 PM
"Cryptocurrency market could hit $1 trillion this year with bitcoin surging to $50,000, experts say"
Hopefully, it will come true!!!

For that to be true the crypto space has to do a lot of work still. At this moment even this 200 billion market cap looks too much inflated as there is not much promising project out there with real use cases. So no doubt it can hit $1 trillion but it is not going to happen soon.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dominance Gradually increasing - Green Signal on: August 24, 2018, 03:27:41 PM
Bitcoin dominance is gradually increasing , this means Bitcoin is ready to moon. the same situation happened last year , first btc dominance increased then  LTC and ETH.

how about your views?

Yes, its an identical situation to last year but I am worried as the bitcoin dominance is increasing by sucking the altcoin no fresh influx of money is happening as we can see overall market cap is not increasing it is rather gradually decreasing. So until we see some spike in market cap I don't see this as a good sign for the market.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner's Luck on: August 24, 2018, 03:05:14 PM
I have not tried real gambling like a casino and all. But yeah I have tried my luck on dice games with crypto like bitcoin, eth and other coins and similar to your story I also earned nice money initially when I started without much knowledge about the strategies. But the sad part is I tried my luck too much and ultimately lost some money too in the process.
229  Economy / Economics / Re: Whether Getting Married At a Young Age Can Lead To Poverty And Make Poor Economy on: August 23, 2018, 05:26:18 PM
I also witness the same issue in my country and even in my locality too and i do feel one should not get married until he is capable of earning much to take care of his family in a decent manner. This mistake of marriage does lead to huge problems like population growth which results in poverty in some way.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to move to BTC on: August 21, 2018, 05:36:46 PM
I think to have a bull market up-coming is the best way to move all the money that you have in altcoins to bitcoin, because with market dominance of Bitcoin the market will go green, and the bull run with start, as far as I am concerned from the previous experience of the bull run more than 55% bitcoin was dominant in the market.
Suggestions?

your statement is becoming true here as we are seeing a rise in bitcoin dominance now. I wish I had stumbled upon this post back in June then I would have moved most of my position from altcoins to bitcoin. But now gotta hold them no choice as altcoins are down very deep at the moment. We are very close to a bull run I guess.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you do with Bitcoins but can't do with Dollars? on: August 21, 2018, 04:27:57 PM
There are many possible use cases of bitcoin which dollar can never provide but we have to wait for the mass adoption and scaling of bitcoin for that. Bitcoin being decentralised has a lot of use cases and also you can gain on his volatilty too.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone is free to use Bitcoin as they want on: August 20, 2018, 04:29:36 PM
At the moment mostly bitcoin is considered as an asset to speculate on based on its volatility. The initial aim is kind of faded away now it is considered as the money making tool which I am not against of as GOLD is also traded and it has its own use cases too. we will have to wait for the mass adoption to see bitcoins as a daily driver.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current cryptocurrency market situation on: August 20, 2018, 04:22:42 PM
What is your opinion on the current market situation?  2018 has not been our year. It's been quite rough for cryptocurrency prices, with the most recent slump being from June 10, the market continues to fluctuate and change. But things seem to be looking up and bitcoin has reached its peak this summer, topping $8,000.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/what-is-going-on-with-the-crypto-markets-experts-share-opinions

The market situation looks very confused at the moment as it was the same bitcoin which people were buying at $19k and now no one wants it at $6k. people are looking up at the ETF as a catalyst for some sort of bullishness which makes me worried about the future of this market. I hope the sentiment of market changes and get the confidence back in crypto.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MARKET IS RED AGAIN on: August 18, 2018, 05:25:01 PM
May be this year is the worst year for the crypto. market is very uncertain and no one knows the reason All we have is just a "hope" do you really believe that crypto will revive again.. i am losing hope now

after the parabolic run, we had last year most of the coins were overinflated and this was bound to happen. coins worth billions of dollars only based on speculation was asking for trouble. This is normal for the healthy growth of the market. now only the best ones will survive in this market others will be ruled out of the market.

238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit? on: July 04, 2018, 04:23:24 PM
Central bank Governor of Spain has told the cryptos bring more risk than the benefits to get. but I believe on more risk more gain theory. If you can not trust crypto, you will not be able to see its value. Risk is associated with all kinda business. It just has to be calculated properly that which one would be profitable for you.

please share your thoughts in favor of mine statement or against.

Agree with you No risk no gain and crypto is definitely one of the riskiest investment as most of the trading/investment is done on the basis of speculation as very few projects has a working product at the moment. So this is the time to make most of the crypto as because as we go along and the crypto matures the price action will also become mature as time goes on.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best altcoin to invest upon right now? on: July 04, 2018, 04:19:19 PM
help me friends, please give your best answer.

The market is showing some positive sentiments so I think you should try to get positions into some of the good altcoins like ICX, AION, WAN all of them have taken a huge hit during the market fall so you can make decent gains on their way up.
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price jump - Is this a bullish sign? on: July 04, 2018, 03:55:22 PM
I see that the price of $BTC went from $6300 to $6600 very fast. I'm wondering why that happened and if that's a bullish sign.

Since we did not go under $5800, it feels like the bearish market is starting to run out. If we continue to hold at these levels, is the bullish market coming sooner and faster than expected?

Also, I wanted to ask how Bitcoin Future Contracts work and if there is a possible relationship with the price jump. From what I understand, people agree on Bitcoin future contracts by agreeing on a price and time to sell BTC for? Is that correct? Or could someone give a short explanation on how they work and how they can affect the price?

Yes, there has been some positive sentiments in the market from last few days today it crossed 6700$ hopefully it can hold these position.

Bitcoin futures does seem to have some sort of effect on the price of bitcoin. as we see since the bitcoin futures were introduced the price of bitcoin has taken a toll.
