It is a good thing that Korean governments are charging tax and that too of fair amount. at least they are not giving statements of banning crypto and all like the government in my country. This move will definitely give confidence to the investors and I wish to see such regulations in my country too.

I read, 80% of the coins being dumped now are from long term holders, they want OUT!
Honestly this was expected and many were wanting this to happen as because as per the technical analysis almost all the experts(so called)i have known they said to have strong comeback of bitcoin we need to hit the low of 6k or even below 6k. And that is what we are witnessing so hold your nerves and keep your belief in bitcoin it will shine again for sure. |

This very question struck in my mind too few months back and as a measure i asked my elder brother to get some knowledge about bitcoin and thing so that i can make him understand about my holdings and how to unlock and use them incase something happens to me.

Generally tokens have value and you can easily convert them to bitcoin via token to ethereum and then ethereum to bitcoin and in some case you can directly convert them to bitcoin. It all depends on which exchange that token is listed and what are the traeing pairs.
There are some fake airdrops too the tokens you get from them never gets any value so can't convert them to bitcoin

Agree with you bitcoin has been tested times and times again when everyone thought it has died it rebounds strongly and makes new ATH. the charts look similar to historical movements in the past and I strongly believe bitcoin will rebound strongly soon. Things are very different at the moment and bitcoin is just getting ready for a next massive move.

The factors you mentioned are the primary ones which is keeping people away from investing in bitcoin. From my personal experience too i have seen people who invested in bitcoin but because of the volatility and recent downtrend they got out of it and now not looking into getting back.
Some other reasons which i found was people are not yet confident about bitcoin they have a risk in mind that their money can possibly go to zero too as the news from different nations keeps coming about bitcoin ban

This space is very new it has lot of potential to make crazy gains and also on the other side to lose it all too. At the moment the investors are investing in idea of the tokens and very few has actually delivered working product. Sp risk is there its like a gamble at the moment but having said that the one who research well and believe in this technology can definitely make fortune out of it.
Crypto is a risky and equally massive potential to reward handsomely to the investors for sure.

Many coins are below ICO prices due to this recent dip and I think this is the last dip that we will experience and bull run will start soon. At this moment, it's time to accumulate some quality coins, what coins are good to buy?
No one knows when is the bull run going to come but we can expect it to be soon. Same as we do not know the dip of these coins everytime we think this is the bottom it dips further. So if you are thinking about getting into those dumped Ico,s do your proper research because not all the Ico,s which were dumped during this dip will recover. I would suggest you buy some already established coins as they are also down by huge margin and these are the coins which will regain their position quickly when the market recovers. |

Thanks for the detailed explanation i have been trying to follow the same pattern as yours. Initialy i made some mistakes and had to make those holdings long term as you mentioned if we don't sell it on time. Not being greedy is very important and its the most difficult task to do as you have to be very diaciplined to not be greedy and take certain amount of profit and move on to next trade.

Do you really look for a long term profit, like the people who had bitcoin in 2014 or are you here trying to get a quick buck with a minimum effort?
I am very optimistic on crypto for long term and most of my holdings are for long term. I do believe when the projects will come up with their products and will be used in day to say life it will be huge. I also do try to scalp profits in the proper situations to get the momentum going and be prepared for the worst. |

You can use the 3rd option of alt to usdt( not available for most coins yet). But to choose between ETH and BTC i prefer BTC as my ultimate goal is to increase the btc value of my portfolio and i think kost of the people trade altcoins for this only.
ETH though being stable still it loses its satoshi value from time to time so you have to decide according to your preference.

Are mulims in crypto space selling and taking their money out from crypto space to buy gifts for their loved ones causing market down?
We were in a downtrend since January so I don't think this fall hs any relation to the festival of Eid. It is just the big whales dumping to grab the cheap bitcoin. Also, we were supposed to hit such low for a healthy reversal as per the Technical analysis of many analysts. |

what a year, wish I dump all the coin in late DEC lol
and today, spend the 100% from that capital and bought it again, so u still holding the same amount as late DEC while steady with the 900% profits..
No one can predict the future what is going to happen. Like for instance if bitcoin price goes 20k$ by late 2018 you will say wish i had bought a good stash of bitcoin. So rather than feeling sad about past always make a set of rules for yourself for trading and take orofits from time to time so that you won't have to regret in a situation like this. |

As a Bounty hunter I once made a mistake by selling tokens from Bounty that I received in a small market for $ 250. After 20 days the price of tokens that I sell is worth $ 1200. So the conclusion if you want to wait you will get maximum results. Believe every ICO project will prepare a good market in the future.
Holding your bounty rewards may not always result in your favour, you need to study the project well before making your decision to sell or hold. I have had experiences of holding bounty rewards which turned into dust as the time went on. So holding any coin blindly won't help you gain. |

you love him or hate him but he has been a big influencer in the crypto market. Though lately he has been accused of shilling coins for money which seems to be somewhat true I do feel his predictions do make sense maybe not to the specified price he states but you can always research on the coins before blindly getting in on to his calls. I have made nice gains on his prediction so I do follow him and believe him. (not always though)

As we have been in a bear market for more than 6 months now so it is very likely to see a strong reversal anytime soon and when it does it can easily double up from the current price of (6500-6600). we were at 10k before the consensus meet and since then the prices have been plummeting I don't see much reasons for this fall but I think its just a market cycle which needs to complete as many analysts were saying we need to hit (5800-6000) zone once more to have strong upward movement. |

Hey guys, bitcon is now 6k again... what do you think, will bitcoin go to 5k or it is just a short fall and it is going to be 8k again soon?
From a technical analysis point of view Although we lost an important support zone (!) and our triangle is gone, we have not made any new lows since the last one and daily support order block (6450 - 6700) is holding so far. Besides, shorts are going up hard at the moment which makes it more profitable for the MM's to give a bounce and trap the shorts. Bitcoin Will probably go and test 6450 - 6700 in the coming days/week a few times and see if it holds. If it does not hold then we could see bitcoin below 6k too for a shorter period of time. |

Have you ever supported, bought or mined a coin that died later on? Why did you support it? What did you learn from it?
Eventually, I did with a couple of coins I did not mined them but I bought them during my initial days of trading, I did not know that we need to cut losses at a certain point if the coin is not doing well. so I bought the coins and had a target of certain % of gain on them but that never happened and I am down 90-95% on those coins(they have literally died). I don't see any point in selling them now so they are with me still reminding me of mistakes and not to commit the same mistake again. |
