281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CNBC reporting 2000 USD for Bitcoin! on: June 11, 2018, 07:19:46 PM
It does not sound good but anything is possible!

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/06/11/dont-count-on-a-bitcoin-rebound-from-the-weekend-rout-any-time-soon-chart-analysts-say.html

At the moment everything is up in the air: It is a mess!

Dont't worry even if we go down that low bitcoin will not stay there for long it will rebound strongly. this news websites only creates FUD and panic for the readers just wait and watch these news channels will start creating FOMO when the Bullrun starts. So don't take them seriously and follow your basics and keep calm be patient in this situation.

283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies? on: June 11, 2018, 03:11:22 PM
Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?

I don't think its a criteria of risk assessment for me if a coin is not in top 100. If you invest in a coin after doing proper research which has just come out of ICO then it may happen that its not in top 100 but it may get in top 100 after getting the proper traction. on the other hand, a coin which is in top 100 may also turn out to be a risky investment if they don't perform well or hit by a bad news creating FUD.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: weak period for cryptocurrency, do you agree? on: June 10, 2018, 06:30:07 PM
I think this is the most sluggish period since I joined the crypto currency. what your opinion?
What caused it?

I have seen the worst than this before market was looking very low from last couple of days and i was expecting something like this to happen but yeah 1000$ was not in my radar. Lets see if bitcoin can hold up to its support of 6600 and bounce back sharply.
There is not much in the market which is creating this dump i think its manupulation by whales to make the weak hands lose money and they can grab more cheap bitcoin.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna end someday ? on: June 09, 2018, 08:27:29 PM
I have one question that really bug me sometimes, Are ICOs going to end or new ideas and projects will emerge along with ICOs. Many of us actually rely on bounty to earn other than investing. As long as there is ICO I believe there will be bounty. It will be a sad day for us if ICOs are declared officially dead.

Ico's are not gonna die but the nunbers will reduce in coming years as there will be more regulations coming in so the scammy ICO's will be filtered out and only the ones which makes sense will be allowed to get in. Which is a good thing to happen atleast you wont have to worry about the genuinity of ICO's.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: June 08, 2018, 07:04:23 PM
The consequences of gambling can be severe if it becomes addiction which in most cases it does. I myself was indulge into online casino(dice games mostly) and lost a lot of money almost complete which i had to invest at that time. But thanks to GOD that i was able to recover it somehow slowly over the time and also got rid of this addiction.
Now i gamble occasionally just for fun no serious money involved.
287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin remain dominant on: June 08, 2018, 06:53:55 PM
Do you think Bitcoin will remain the most dominant coin both short and long term? Even though it does not remain the most dominant coin, this will not be the same as saying that Bitcoin won’t exist long term.

Bitcoins domination will always be there on top as per my opinion. No individual coin can attain the dominanace of bitcoin atleast not yet may be in future it could when the use cases of crypyo will increase as a daily use and that time the token will most utility will gain value unlike the present situation of speculation on the basis of ideas of the projects.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold or sell and buy back lower on: June 07, 2018, 07:57:59 PM
Hi so do people think it's worth learning chart tracking, technical analysis in order to sell and buy back Lower to increase my position. With all of these recent drops I feel I'm wasting opportunities because I've been told it's always better to hold. I value this strategy but would it not also be beneficial to maybe think about looking at some charts?

Agree with you on learning some chart reading cause i also felt i missed a lot of opportunities and also got a dig in my portfolio due to holding on to my coins and not selling them to re buy at dip. I was not expecting such downtrend in the market so held onto my long term holdings but learning technical analysis is eually important for investors like us too.
289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Does Day Trading Means? on: June 07, 2018, 05:35:21 PM
Getting a little bit confuse here. What Does it means by day trading and are any advantages and disadvantages in day trading. Thanks
Its simple as the name states day trading means you will enter into a trade and will close that trade before the day ends whether you are on loss or profit.
It has its own pros and cons but to throw yourself into day trading you must have good knowledge of technical analysis and you must be in front of your screen all day(theoritically)
290  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: June 06, 2018, 06:25:31 PM
If you are talking about the 20% savings kept in fiat other than crypto investment then i would suggest not to put that money into crypto as there can be any emergency in your personal life and the market may not be favourable at that time and you may end up losing your money because of the urgency of that money at that point of time. So always keep that 20% fiat money intact.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Wanchain a sound investment or over hyped? on: June 06, 2018, 05:09:48 PM
Wanchain was over hyped and it was for good reasons as its a fundamentally one of the strongest coin out their in the market at present. It has many big partnerships and many things to come. They are actually gonna deliver what they stated.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: invest on altcoin on: June 06, 2018, 05:03:30 PM
There is a lot of opportunities in the market at the moment as most of the fundamentally strong coins are at a very low price. But as you asked for a specific coin then i tell you i am looking into VEN(vechain) its a strong coin and has a great catalyst this month in the form of the mainnet launch happening this month. So expect a decent gain on this one.
293  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading for quick profit on: June 06, 2018, 08:17:08 AM
Daily trading could be hectic and it might take a toll on your personal life too so i dont find the reward ratio to be favourable. I prefer swing trading like making trades for 2-7 days time with calculated stop losses set. This way i dont have to be on look out for charts whole day and can do other stuff in life too. 50$ is very much possible but for that your capital has to be big too.
294  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money for school fees. Invested in bitcoin. on: June 05, 2018, 05:06:17 AM
Hi there! I just need your advice. I invested the money instead of paying my school fees. Yeah, i know this is wrong because education is more important to us and it can't be stealed from us, i'm still studying but my fees will be doubled on the next payment. But i believe this will end a good result. What do you think about this ? Your advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Its very much advisable to invest in bitcoin but it is not advised to invest the amount which you cannot afford to lose. Now in your case you invested in january and the bitcoin has been going down since then and sttuggling to get the momentum up. In this kind of situation we tend to make bad decisions as the pressure to take the investment cope up.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do supported payment options affect your choice of an online casino ? on: June 04, 2018, 05:57:40 PM
One should always check that the payment option you are going to use is supported on that casino. Otherwise you will not be able to deposit money there and gamble. Do supported payment options affect your choice of an online casino ?

It does for me as its always good for a moderate gambler like me to scalp some profit of the coin purchased for trading mid to long term, it helps in increasing our stash of favourite coin while holding. Also the ingame exchange option is what i look for while chosing a site to gamble.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: June 04, 2018, 03:41:26 PM
Bitcoins scalability is the issue and its been dealth with many improvements and many countries has ATM for bitcoin and some major brands and websites also accepting bitcoin as a payment. But in my country its not considered legal tender as yet but we are expecting regulation in future.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: June 03, 2018, 06:00:47 PM
Regulations are good thing for crypto and if more countries come forward to regulate crypto then it is a good thing, regulations are better than ban and also we need to admit it the crypto has to be regulated sooner or later.  Bitcoin wont die because of regulations rather it will progress.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Tron go up after MainNet Release? on: June 02, 2018, 05:24:02 PM
I am interested in opinions. I believe it could go up 50 percent regardless of market conditions!
I am not fond of the coin but I see an opportunity!

There was a nice 10% dip yesterday and now its recovering and with main net coming i think there will be a pump,p and it could very likely be around 50% or more but after the mainnet release I am expecting a dump for sure and after that, it may recover slowly. The market has been very boring during past few months and smart traders are not letting any profits go by
299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: factors that can make bitcoin stable on: June 02, 2018, 12:31:09 PM
we know many of the factors that make bitcoin fall and also we already know that many factors make bitcoin rise and high. bitcoin volatility affects all trades on the market.

I am still skeptical about the factors that make the bitcoin stable. please share your knowledge here about factors that can make a stable market!

Stability comes when there is a balance between demand and supply. Bitcoin's supply is limited as we know and the demand for bitcoin keeps on fluctuating resulting in the price volatility, we are very far from adoption and regulation so until bitcoin goes mainstream and people are comfortable with it and the price of bitcoin reaches a level according to its demand. You can't predict its stability and to be honest bitcoin's volatility is its X-factor.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did crypto become mainstream too early? on: June 01, 2018, 05:11:51 PM

Hear me out: I think we got too popular too fast. The normal person on the ground would expect to use crypto much more for daily-life transactions but this is not currently the case. Maybe we needed some more time for the technology to mature (no scaling issues, slow transactions, etc) THEN the normies come in. Right?

I don't think we are near to even popular as yet. Yes, there was a huge influx of users in the late 2017 and a lot of media involvements but we are far far away to be considered as a mainstream. for the daily uses, it will take some time yet because as you mentioned we need to address scaling and other issues so that the normal users can use crypto easily.
