841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternate coins to Bitcoins on: November 29, 2017, 12:14:05 PM
Is there any coin which can give or is giving a tough competition to Bitcoin ?

Actually, there are many which give competition or are better than bitcoin in technology, but in terms of market cap ethereum is at the 2nd place so you can consider it as a big competitor. but bitcoin has the advantage of 1st cryptocurrency which will always stay with it and it is unlikely that anyone will take place in bitcoin at least not at the moment.
So just buy bitcoin and put some money into good alts too which is going to be huge in future.
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest bitcoin? on: November 29, 2017, 11:18:12 AM
I have two bitcoins
i need to invest them
I'm looking for where to invest
Any recommendation

It would be best to just onto bitcoins only considering the amount of rise it is gaining. but if you want to invest then invest in top 10 coins to be on the safer side like ethereum, litecoin, dash. but make sure you don't cut short on BTC always consider giving bitcoin maximum percentage of your portfolio to be on the safer side.

845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling PRO CON on: November 28, 2017, 05:33:10 PM
sometimes gambling make life easier just spend 1 hours in front of my pc and i can get money same like i work for a month, sometimes i lost what i earn in a month with just a few click.
how you avoid loosing in online casino, if you lost your money what will you do ? deposit more and try to recover last lose or cry at the corner of your bathtub and regreting thing you do.

And if you become addictive to gambling and try to stop what you do to distact you from gambling ( i really need advice for this one)

ever since I got into crypto I have been gambling with bitcoin litecoin and many other coins. I have lost a lot initially but over the time I recovered (luckily). I do gamble now too but now with a very low affordable amount I was addicted to it but now I just gamble occasionally just for fun.
I would suggest you if you want to get rid of this addiction get into crypto trading or something else where you can make some money too so that way it will help you to cut down your addiction towards gambling.

847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2800$ Altcoin advice ) on: November 27, 2017, 06:29:45 PM
Good day everyone.I sold all my altcoins and btc for fiat and i have 2800$ at the moment.
My question is : Is it worth investing for 2-3 months in 2-3 altcoins or i better split my money and use like 1400$ for intraday trading top volume coins for small profits?
If investing i am thinking:Neo,OMG,Lisk but no idea what will happen right now to the price due to bitcoins rise.In case BTC crashes it will grab the alts down with it as it happened from 5k to 3k.
Would be glad to hear opinions.

The coins you picked are strong coins and would grow nicely in the coming months for sure. but on the intraday trading part, I would suggest you not to do it if you are not that experienced trader because mostly you will lose money in day trading.
Try to grab some coins which are new like came out of Ico and research on them. that is where you can make some quick short-term gains.

849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to sell? on: November 27, 2017, 04:14:05 PM
Can i anybody put me through the basics of knowing when to sell and when to hold?...
I actually don't know much about market rise in demand and supply and it's affecting me in daily trade of cryptocurrency.

No one can tell you, you are the best at knowing what to do whether it's holding or selling and getting the profits.
however, you can follow these steps to know if it's at the top:

1.When you see growing price on falling value - is the first sign to get ready to sell

2.When the people who are never interested in the underlying technology are getting into the coin and start praising it - the second sign

That is how I would define "sell the top" (or close to it).
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had you got on board in 2009 would you have blown it? on: November 27, 2017, 01:36:20 PM
I know this is an impossible question, but I want you to look deep into your hearts and be honest with yourselves, no blagging.

Had you stumbled across BTC in 2009 and done a little mining would you have stuck with it or retained whatever coins you did mine?

Bear in mind that it was literally worthless and mining made your computer produce vile noises and would eventually probably break something consumer grade.

I've seen numerous posts from people who did mine in the very early days and deleted everything shortly after as they regarded it as a waste of time with no future, and at certain points it really did look like it was going to slide into nothing.

I for one am extremely anal about any type of file so I no doubt would have retained whatever crap I picked up over the years on the internet including a wallet.dat. What of you?

If I had stumbled upon it in 2009 and mined it I would have definitely kept it with me. but to be honest I don't think I would have held it until 2016-2017 provided I mined and forgot about it. because holding it and seeing it going up and down I would not have been able to resist myself and probably would have sold when it reached 1$ or 2.

852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MADESAFECOIN, STORJ, SUBSTRATUM, SHIFT, SIACOIN on: November 26, 2017, 05:25:31 PM
MADESAFECOIN,  STORJ, SUBSTRATUM, SHIFT,  SIACOIN

Which  one   will bring  the decentralized internet,  in your  opinion?

ALSO  I HAVE searched  for  another  ICO  with  the same  purpose:  INternxt.

It has the same  purpose:  decentralized internet.
Also I see  many concernes  about  shift  project.... somebody say '' It's  nothing special, because  it's linked to  IPFS....so basically nothing  new....''... basically  they say  ''SHIFT  IS  NOTHING  NEW IN THE DECENTRALIZED INTERNET  field''... (because  there is already IPFS)

My question to  you,   that  you  are wiser  than me  and maybe smarter traders than me,   is:

which  one  in your  opinion will finally bring us the decentralized  Internet?

I think among them I have researched on siacoin and substratum. siacoin looks promising but their development is on the slower side I hope to see development progress at a decent pace in future.
Substratum looks very good with the net neutrality issue coming up in the USA I think substratum will be a very good project to choose and it will help to make internet decentralised.

856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people still play dice? on: November 26, 2017, 12:55:44 PM
I used to play dice because i thought i could make profit, stable profit from it, obviously i was wrong, you can't win in the long term, that was my only purpose of playing dice, other than that i do not find it fun or entertaining unless im winning money, i would not play dice if money was not involved, so my question is, why people still play? Im sure 90% of people know what your odds are and that strategies don't work, what is their purpose? Do you guys really have fun playing dice? Watching a number appear on the screen?

I have been playing dice for 1 year now and I can tell you strategies do work they give you profit. bit I have felt and experienced weird rolls many times which will suck your whole balance in one go. no matter how safe you play it will take your whole balance.
so now I have left playing dice I used to play every day before, I play now occasionally with very low amount just for fun.
