This makes no sense!!! I am 300% sure that even 2 years ago I was not engaged in plagiarism.

Things start to make no sense when we try to be innocent but the wrongs things we've done are dug up.  Roll Eyes

none of this list is unfamiliar to me.

Which means you are familiar with all of them.  Roll Eyes You wanted to lie but your words deceived you, and you said the truth though unknowingly.
322  Economy / Services / Re: Selling nudes [Group of girls +18) on: February 21, 2019, 11:53:56 AM
I think you should write the prices in Bitcoin, which would be more appropriate for the board you've posted this in. You can simply search the amounts equivalent to Bitcoin in Google and replace your current prices which are in DLLS (Spanish Abbreviation for Dollars) with the Bitcoin prices you've got from Google.

323  Other / Meta / Re: How can we protect Newbies from getting scammed? on: February 20, 2019, 07:03:15 PM
A warning PM for every few first posts they make?

Sounds good, but rather than a PM, the warning should be shown in the post writing area just like how we see warnings like for new posts that has been submitted while we were composing, etc. The warning could be like, "Beware of scammers. Don't blindly believe anyone since not every person is a genuine helper around." and some other precautions to prevent them from such scams.
324  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are Legendary Member Earning Too Much ? on: February 19, 2019, 02:56:27 PM
Do bounties really pay that much? I've always thought they pay dust to their members for promoting their products. Maybe some of those dusts make some value if the project gets a bit successful.
Anyways, your rank won't get you in a campaign, but your post history would (if the manager is a good one) and a legendary would earn nothing if he has a terrible post history and a smaller rank member would at least earn something if he is a good poster. So it is true that buying a higher rank account won't do a lot of good for a bad poster.
Besides that, the people who say that it was easy to become a Legendary member are not totally accurate. Though it is true that now it requires Merits to gain ranks, but the time it takes to become a Legendary hasn't changed and it was the same before as it is now. The people who've become Legendary members have spent their time to gain that rank. Now it depends on them if what they've gained in that period other than their account rank. If they gained no knowledge at all, it is a shame, and the rank they've gained wouldn't be useful for them since campaigns won't accept them with a horrible post history. But, if they've gained knowledge over time and have been constructive posters from the past, then it can useful for them to be a Legendary.
325  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ★Keep your role on Default Trust(DT) selection★ on: February 19, 2019, 02:16:04 PM
I only place people in my custom trust list that I know would never make rash or reckless judgements. I don't care if I have been involved in a trade with them or not, but the fact, that I know I would get full satisfaction if I get into a trade with them, is enough reason for me to trust them other than that I trust their judgements. So it doesn't really matter if there is no financial trust between you and them, but the moral trust is enough.

328  Other / Meta / Re: Merit number indicator on showPost list ? on: February 17, 2019, 02:50:24 AM
I believe it is not always about constructiveness when it comes to campaigns, but different campaigns from different areas of interest define their targeting areas to the managers (I'm just assuming. I don't know what discussions they have before starting the campaign), and the managers do exactly as the company that is running the campaigns demands for. And, since most of the websites/services or anything that runs a campaign is in English language, they mostly target English sections rather than Local boards because they know that the population of English boards is way higher than Local boards, and it wouldn't really do a lot of good for them since even if someone posts extra constructive posts in a Local board, it wouldn't make much of a difference if there isn't a very large number of audience to read it and then be interested about the signature they are wearing.
329  Other / Meta / Re: Deleted posts on: February 17, 2019, 02:42:23 AM
You must have a very weak memory. Your post given in quotes of that deletion message should remind you or at least give you an hint of where you've posted it by seeing the content written and thinking of the threads you've interacted with recently. Someone should be able to do that unless they post more than 30 posts a day, all of them in different threads.
And, as said @Thirdspace, a post deleted by a moderator can take you back to the thread from where it got deleted if you search for it in the modlog, but if the post is deleted by the self-moderated thread starter, then there is no way, nor it is really a necessity to be added IMO.
330  Other / Meta / Re: Do not count posts in 'Off-topic' on: February 13, 2019, 05:02:51 PM
Not counting the posts in 'Off-topic' would likely not lessen their incentive to post in there, because they don't do it for gaining activity points since it doesn't make a difference for them no matter how many activity points they get, they cannot rank up as long as they don't earn any Merits. And if they do it for financial gains (since signature campaigns don't count post in off-topic board, but bounty campaigns do), then as LoyceV said, it is better to keep them there and not give them the incentive to post outside that board, which is exactly what they would do if their posts start to get ignored in that board.
331  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Earning cryptocurrency doing your everyday shopping in this bear market. on: February 13, 2019, 03:07:08 PM
Never used one. I just checked out Rewards.com though, but couldn't find the stores you've mentioned in your post. There are many though in there with different % of cashback for each one of them. I don't really do a lot of online shopping, otherwise I would've tried the service.

333  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion] Disable the delete or edit rights on OP's page of OP authors on: February 10, 2019, 05:25:30 PM
It is a dumb idea, indeed.
Why?
This is why:

1. The forum is not only operating for ICOs/Bounties/ANNs or any other kind of scams that people might come up with. So disabling the feature of editing the OP is totally a bad idea to prevent scams.

2. Not is the forum, nor are the admins/mods responsible for any scams that happen in here. Investors are responsible themselves for getting scammed, since it is their money and it is their duty to first investigate a project and then invest in it. Other than that, we have DT to deal with scams/scammers. So a person dealing with anyone, taking part in anything should first see the trust/reputation of the starter of that thing.

3. A person can only delete the posts in his thread if the thread is self-moderated. So in order to prevent your proofs from getting vanished, it is better to archive them using this website, instead of quoting them which can be deleted if the thread is self-moderated, or the OP can be edited later on. You can use the archived link as a proof later on against the scam/scammer.
334  Other / Meta / Re: theymos shouldn't merit and trust be mutually exclusive? on: February 10, 2019, 05:01:22 PM
No system can be flawless. No matter what idea you come up with, there will always be abuse against it. Sometimes you can prevent your system from that abuse, and sometimes you cannot.
The idea of including Merit system in selection of the DT members is to make a democratic DT while preventing the excessive abuse that it could get by the large number of useless voters. A person should definitely not be trusted only by his posting behavior, but again, a bad poster is always a bad thinker, and a bad thinker doesn't really deserve to be in charge of anything. So the criteria of being higher than Member rank in order to be able to get into DT is quite well thought.
Then comes voting, which plays the main role in all this. A democratic system depends on the votes of the public for the selection of the ones in charge, and this can be largely abused as we all know. So the criteria for the only votes to be counted should be from people who earned Merits is only to prevent the abuse and allow only responsible people to decide who should be in charge. Now if the ones who are considered to be responsible decide to abuse the system, you cannot really do a lot about it.

Misuse of sMerits at its best.  Roll Eyes
Start a Merit Giveaway thread and give away the Merits to newbies who doesn't even know what Merit itself is, and promote them to Jr. member so that they can join a signature bounty campaign and spam the shit out of the forum. That's great!

Notably, all of those systems utilized a Trusted Third Party approach, meaning that the companies behind them verified and facilitated the transactions. Due to the failures of these companies, the creation of a digital cash system was seen as a lost cause for a long while.

I remember those good old days when you can gain merit from this forum by making 30 posts as a newbie.

You mean "activity".  Roll Eyes
You are definitely an account farmer, because the old days that you are talking about were before January 24, 2018 (that is when the Merit system was introduced), while your account (this one) was created on July 21, 2018, and yet you say, "I remember those good old days......." which means that you were there in those old days, farming accounts and earning money by selling them time to time. And now when the Merit system is there, you are not being able to farm accounts anymore, and that is what concerns you. Otherwise, you wouldn't have cared, and if you were really to make any efforts, you would have definitely learnt about the systems in here by now.  Roll Eyes
