What do you have to do with those countries if your country is not forbidding it? Are you not going to buy Bitcoins from your own country, but travel to one of those countries to buy them? If that is what you intend to do, then you obviously will have to wait a long time (or maybe forever), otherwise, that should not be your concern at all if your country allows trading it. No one can ever know if a country is ever going to make Bitcoin legal or illegal. It totally depends on the thoughts of the authorities of that country, and those thoughts are never public unless they decide to implement them.

Every single cryptocurrency in markets is being used by people in general. But, of course, no other cryptocurrency than Bitcoin has yet been practically used for payments if that is what you mean by "actual use of cryptocurrencies". BTC and ETH are top most used cryptocurrencies in the market right now. Their total market capitalization is the clear proof of that. After these two, starts the series of the other popular cryptocurrencies, like XMR, Dash, BCH etc.

.... he also wants to work in Bitcointalk.
Is it a forum for discussions or a food factory where people bring their relatives to work and earn money?

Nice initiative I must say. Unfortunately, I can't join this as I have recently joined a paid signature campaign run by yahoo, but I also want to contribute something to the cause. So maybe I can give 1 Merit (as per my capacity) per week to a runner up or winner on your direction. I will keep doing this until I run out of sMerits (I have 6 remaining right now). Let me know if you are willing to accept my small contribution to your service. Good luck, and keep up the good work, all of you! Cheers.
Thank you for wanting to contribute, but I would rather you save your sMerit and merit posts that you find worthy, rather than donating them at this time. Maybe once you rank up and earn some more merits, you'd like to opt in to donate merits again? Let me know what you think Well, I'm okay with that too. I just liked the service you guys have started, and to be even the smallest part of it, I would have felt myself honored, but it's fine. I'm just curious to see the effect of this service, and will be looking forward to read the replies from people wearing the signature from this challenge, and see if there is improvement or not. I'm pretty sure this service will help a lot of people to build a much better post quality for themselves. Edit: I was just thinking, because there are signatures to be worn upon joining this challenge, shouldn't there be a small change in the title? As technically, it is no more a "signatureless challenge". So maybe some other title would fit in better. I don't have any name suggestions though, but I'm sure you guys can pull something out. It is just a suggestion. It can be ignored without being thought about.

It is hard only for shitposters. Someone with the sense of writing quality posts will have no problems though. And, it needs equal efforts for a newbie or a Sr. member to rank up after the Merit system has been implemented. So anyone with any rank can only rise up if they can contribute something to the forum, otherwise they should find some other source to earn a few bucks instead of wasting their time here as it won't work anymore for them (I'm talking about signature campaign spammers).

Hey, how did you get those Merits? Don't tell me you are a quality poster. Do you have any friends here in the forum? I guess so. P.S: Sorry for being off-topic in the second portion of my post.

Are there any No-Language translators around here? Because that obviously isn't English, nor it is any other language, so we better call it No-Language. I swear I didn't even understand a single line of his entire post. A totally perfect example of breaking the legs of a language.

(Possible) Merit abuse. User kliown sending 50 Merits to his (possible) alt account babicena14 for this post. The post if you read it offers nothing as special to receive 50 Merits by a single person, which indicates the Merits are given for some other reason and that is abusing the system IMO. Snaps of their Merit pages: kliown https://imgur.com/km9leTGbabicena14 https://imgur.com/RgyGrbZThe fact that none of them has sent/received any other Merit from any other user makes me thing this is suspicious. That is the reason why I have put "Possible" in some places because it is totally based on doubts and assumptions which indicate they are doing it wrong. P.S: Sorry for not posting it in the correct format. I have posted this somewhere else and then I was asked to bring it here, so I didn't know how to put it in that format. I hope it is not a really big issue.

You can't get more than 1 activity per day, and they are added to your account after every 2 weeks. When you create your account, you get 14 activity if you post 14 times, and after that, you will need to wait 2 weeks to get them credited to your account, no matter how many posts you do in a day or so, you will only get 14 activity points after 2 weeks. Anyhow, getting only activities won't help anymore, as you will stay a Jr. member forever if you have no Merits. Learn the thread below to know about Merit system and how it works: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0

There is no way to stop repetitive similar posts because everyone is allowed to post anything anywhere in the forum without any restrictions. Maybe implementing some new system like the Merit system for this matter will help reduce such spams.

Basically, there are two kinds of wallet: 1. Hot Wallet 2. Cold Wallet
1. Hot Wallet: A Hot Wallet is a wallet that is connected to the internet, and is used for day-to-day transactions. They are mostly used to store smaller amounts of Bitcoin as they are not too secure. Web wallets, Mobile Wallets, and Desktop Wallets are Hot Wallets as they are connected to internet and are used for usual transactions.
2. Cold Wallet: A Cold Wallet is a wallet that has no internet access, and is used for storing Bitcoins for long-term. They are more secure as they need no internet access and are safe from phishing or any other kind of attacks. Hardware Wallets, Paper Wallets and sometimes Desktop Wallets (if not connected to internet) are used as Cold Wallets, to store Bitcoins for a longer time.
Now, each one of them has their own advantages and disadvantages. Like, Web Wallets has the disadvantage of Phishing or hacking attacks, and they often don't give you access to your Private Keys. Sometimes a wallet even can be a scam and run away with the Bitcoins of people. Advantage of Web Wallets is that they are user-friendly and fast too. On the other side, Desktop wallets has no such disadvantages, but there are fears of keyloggers and other similar attacks. Their advantage is that they are safe from Internet attacks (Phishing, hacking), and the private keys are stored in your PC. Paper and Hardware wallets can be lost, in such a situation, you will lose all your funds store in any of them, but they have the advantage that they are totally safe from attacks of any kind, meaning you are totally safe as long as you have them to yourself.
That is a small explanation of wallets. I hope I made them quite clear for you.

There is no quick and effective way of getting a lot of followers/subscribers in social media, unless you have contacts with a celebrity to get your account promoted through them. Otherwise, you have to grow steadily to a certain level from where you can join the campaigns with the least required followers/subscribers. I think you can join some if you reach around 250-300 followers/subscribers. That, I think is the minimum required tier for some bounty campaigns.

Hello There!
Recently, I have noticed that the majority of newbies right after joining the forum, or making some posts somewhere else, come here and open a thread for just saying "Hi, I'm new here" or "Hello, I'm new to this forum" etc. Which is totally not needed. I mean, I can understand how you feel (as I have been where you are right now), but the forum is for you to read, understand and learn about Bitcoin, or any other cryptocurrency that exists. The purpose of this forum is not to introduce people to one another, but to share information with each other, which is what our aim should be, right from the start. We should not think of ourselves that "I'm just a newbie, what can I provide for others?", "I don't even understand how the things work yet.", but we should think why not? We have all the resources to learn the things that experts have. They don't/didn't travel to other worlds to learn the things, but they did it from where we are. So why can't we do that? Why don't we do that too? Instead of showing others that we know nothing, why don't we show them that we can also know what they know? Of course anyone can do that! with just a little efforts put in on something. All you got to do is to read, and read, and read, and understand. If you are here (in the forum) to learn something, then please, do that with honesty.
Okay, so what my point is, that if you are new, whether in Bitcoin or in this forum, don't just come here and post "Hi, welcome me! I'm new here", but instead, invest some of your time in reading some useful threads around the forum that you won't find difficult to get if you really look for them, and believe me, you will be interacting with others in the same way how the users with higher ranks do. But only if you be honest in doing so.
It is never about being new or old, it is all about understanding level of someone. If you can understand the things, you won't need to be an old user to know the things.
Try it! You won't regret. Regards.

You've mentioned 4 managers in your post, but I can't find anyone else in your sheet except needmoney, and I think all of them have on-going campaigns right now which you could add as well. You can find them in Bounties (altcoin) section. My mistake. I didn't notice it has more than one sheet.
P.S: As the thread discusses about bounties and altcoins, I think it belongs to Altcoin discussion or Marketplace (altcoin) section. It would possibly get more relative audience in one of those boards.

It doesn't work that way. It is just available but it doesn't work if you try it (I didn't try it, btw ). And even if it worked, it wouldn't make a difference to rank yourself up as you would possibly get negative tagged for doing so because it would be totally a misuse of the system which is a legal offense in the forum. You are better off being a newbie with a positive trust rating than being a Hero member with a red tag on your profile. Atleast that is what I think.

No offense, but it is a totally useless idea IMO. It makes no sense to get-together the spam posts into one to just keep the board clean from them. It would eventually start another flood of spams of introductory threads where people (newbies) can introduce themselves just like the other things that has been bragged too much in the forum several times before. There is basically no need of introductions in the forum as we are not here to know each other which we can't even do knowing the number of people that exist on this forum. So adding a board or sticky thread for something that is not even a necessity would only be a waste of time and increment of spam.

So lets say I put in $100 dollars. I buy while its at a low of $10,400. The price goes up to $10,400 and I sell. Whata my profit?
Nothing if you sell them back at $10,400 you will rather have to pay some fees for the trades. Ok, I know it is a typing mistake, so I'm just messing with you. You can calculate your profit by the grown percentage of price. Let's say if the price is at $10k and you invest $100, and the price gets a little movement to reach $10,100 by tomorrow. It means the price has grown 1% since you invested, so your profit would be 1% of what you invested, which if you've invested $100 would be $1. All you need to do is to remember the starting price and then see the current price at the time of selling and then calculate the percentage of growth. Apply that percentage to your invested amount and you will come to know how much your investment have gained by now. It is actually quite complicated but you can do it if you know basic mathematics.

He used "imagine" which means he wasn't doing any calculations for reaching that conclusion, but he said it as an imaginary thought that if Bitcoin is successful then the price of each Bitcoin can be equal to that in future. That doesn't mean that he already knew it would be successful. I'm sure many people would have said good words about Bitcoin even at the starting, but none of them were sure if this would really become the reality some day.
