1281  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can you track bitcoin transactions once it has gone to an exchange? on: September 07, 2021, 03:54:05 PM
Typical exchanges give you something that represents the crypto you sent to them to trade with on their platform. So, they collect and store your coin somewhere and then let you to trade with something that represents the coin. Your transactions on the centralized ones isn't transparent and can't be tracked as far as I can tell. And your transactiona doesn't take place on the Blockchain unless you are using some sort of decentralized exchange that enables you control your coin and trade peer-to-peer on Blockchain
1282  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador has just bought it’s first 200 coins on: September 07, 2021, 03:34:51 PM
I wonder if it's necessary for the government to purchase the bitcoins, assuming the government is the one purchasing them. Are the people suppose to purchase bitcoins through governments or can they also purchase some other places?
Just hope things are done right so people don't get their rights taken away in the future . It's important that they are able to control their coins and can easily move to another app just incase they need to. It should be freeer than fiat.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap Labs investigated by SEC, what is your opinion? on: September 07, 2021, 03:14:07 PM
I wonder if the company is under the government. I tend to think that their governance structure makes such investigation possible. I guess it's based on token governance, and they probably don't have enough anonymity to protect themselves just incase they are dealing with regulators that are abusing their powers.
A truely decentralized company would be difficult to abuse if it has Decentralized Autonomous Organization that is open, transparent, permissionless, censorship resistant, based on right/fair rules,  immutable, privacy-friendly, trustless etc... rather than being controlled by one or few people.
I have no issue with a company that isn't well decentralized and accountable getting investigated. Been long I checked Uniswap governance though.
1284  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you notice how corporations took over the internet ? on: September 07, 2021, 10:39:33 AM
Wish you spoke about the possibility of corporation taking over the cryptocurrency like you said they did to the internet. I guess that happened to the internet because people were sleeping, complacent, went for what was easy/convenient, it made them more money, etc. Fortunately, Bitcoin was built to make such takeover hard. To make it even harder, we need to stick to its good ideals and make sure the potential hijackers can only develop things along the ideals

In regards to the hoarding & price, I wonder why you think it can be hoarded, assuming the consequences of hoarding is that Bitcoin becomes unaffordable to others... whereas it makes everyone's coin to be worth more, and that means people having more good things to buy with money. I don't see why it can't be used as currency... With less volatility (that does not compromise on its anti-inflation feature) it could be way better money than lots of fiats.
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs with intrinsic value, is it possible on: September 07, 2021, 09:45:39 AM
The goal should be to create NFTs that can be backed mainly by physical assets/values that are transferable and can be fully owned by  new owners once they buy corresponding NFTs. I actually prefer the values to be things that can help people survive in times of serious crisis.
I hope readers don't think this's for my sake. It's actually for worldwide issues. Truely anti-frigile and decentralized system/tech is very much needed. I can survive without them though.
1286  Other / Off-topic / Re: What was your dream while growing up on: September 07, 2021, 09:22:42 AM
Mine was probably doctor or some sort of healer. I guess school made me unqualified because it was trying to make me to be like them or who I was not.
Today I see people suffering from what can easily be treated/cured and it's heart breaking. And people should be helped to live healthy life the right way.  It's quite risky to help people who are under the system, so I will stick with my real family members in the future and those who need my help & are trustworthy. .
1287  Other / Off-topic / Re: No such thing as death on: September 07, 2021, 09:01:41 AM
The computer becomes useless if it's corrupted... it's as bad as dead.
So try not to be corrupted in order to remain alive otherwise... "you die". That's basically what happens to human. The corruption of the mind with evil code/info kills the human...and when this happens, that human is controlled by an evil entity who corrupted him/her. A human is in its living state when it's filled with the Spirit of the CREATOR. It's the SPIRIT's Will that the living human does or is imposed on the human spirit.

A corrupted human still has a chance to be cleansed by our MESSIAH who the CREATOR sent to save humans from the death and corruption.

1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just in case on: September 03, 2021, 04:25:46 PM
When people talks about diversity in crypto space they only point at big projects and small projects combined but no one ever talk about their life savings, I've seen people putting all they have into crypto and yes they have more than 5 coins in their portfolio but is this the smartest move?

Personally I think the smartest move is to have some funds offline as well, if you know what diversity means then you should be smart enough bro know that nothing is guaranteed, have some money 💰💰 offline and some online (crypto and other), putting all your eggs in one basket is bad and too much of everything is also bad

Ofcourse.
People should diversify their investments. And it's better to invest more in useful projects that can stand the test of time, and less on project that aren't really safe both long or short-term.
I would encourage anyone to invest in things that did not compromise on standards to be able to succeed in the market. I believe such businesses are worse or almost at thesame level as those who failed to deliver anything. The future consequences of the compromises would prove this right.  Your minds should be more focused on good standards/principles... Projects should be useful without compromising on that.
1289  Other / Off-topic / Re: will we witness a blockchain based election in our life time? on: September 03, 2021, 03:39:21 PM
complete democracy is blockchain and as more people are adopting blockchain, i am really excited for blockchain based voting. no tampering with votes whatsoever.

Could really work well if it's well decentralized and the identity of voters are well protected. I prefer not to use the Word for voters/users with hidden identities so people don't misunderstand it and think we are trying to impose "masked" voters in their elections. The Word is part of main Bitcoin principles and will really help in protecting voters and preventing them from getting influenced by money bags and people who bribe voters.
You don't need Proof of Stake(or Proof you own lots of money) for that. That will limit the numbers of voters and make the voting system vulnerable to being hijack by special interests and dictators. Decentralized & encrypted voter's identity, mobile devices, plus Full nodes should do. The right consensus mechanism would be PoW or Proof you have voted accurately... Once that is done, you are rewarded with points to encourage more people to vote.
1290  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use deodorant? on: September 03, 2021, 03:01:51 PM
Um, yes, but it's better to use crystal, it's not harmful to the skin and lasts a long time.

What crystal exactly? Could you be more specific. Guess what showed up when i Googled "crystal deodorant", it's similar to the factory-made product packaged in fancy bottle I stopped using months ago. I really prefer it in its natural form and it should be fairly easy to obtain locally.
For now, I'll stick to the tree sap and some aloe vera... They both meet my standard. Besides, both are from living things and can be replicated in lots of places, especially at home.
1291  Other / Off-topic / Concerning so called Climate change & Global warming on: September 03, 2021, 02:36:21 PM
Here is what you need to know, it's not what they say it is. It's not even close. Their theories and guessing is even worse than the blind men trying to  describe what body parts of an elephant are: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blind_men_and_an_elephant
Don't believe or trust the World, whether it's the doctrine of the so called left or right. Believe the Word of the CREATOR of this World. The World is approaching hell, so things are reacting on earth.

What you see happening around the world is reversible. It can easily be reverse right now once they surrender to their CREATOR. HIS Glorious Presence alone will make all living things rejoice and blossom. It will quickly calm the weather.
1292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Afghanistan replace afghan currency with Bitcoin? on: September 03, 2021, 10:41:35 AM
Well, I think we are approaching a time when it may be necessary to have very dangerous users (or users with strong tendency to be very dangerous) verify their true identities and be legally monitored by qualified/reputable security agencies within a Group in the Bitcoin Network. To prevent abuse, I think the works of the security agencies within the network should be immutable and well encrypted, but it maybe ok to use private network during really serious cases.
If there is no good/moral plan to prevent the misuse/abuse of Bitcoin by other Nations, then we should not rejoice. We should only rejoice if they are able to use it to save lives and help the needy, with little to no issues to the society and the world.
1293  Economy / Economics / Re: New York Mayoral Candidates Turn to Crypto for Votes on: September 03, 2021, 10:07:47 AM
Well, I hope what they choose for their voters are the right cryptos and the right way of using them. What they choose to implement should help sustain the voters during earth shaking crisis.
*The sheep in Babylon (who could be part of the voters) should not be exposed to harm though. They are really valuable to their CREATOR.
1294  Other / Off-topic / Re: A good A.I that builds what you tell it to build on: September 03, 2021, 09:43:57 AM
I am not sure if AI now reaches that level as I see that it needs more development to create AI that can works perfectly as we want. Maybe it needs 5-10 years later to see AI can work beside us. If you want to build something, maybe you can go to the expert and tell what you want. They can create that for you and they are talented and experienced in their field.

Well, I will be greatly surprised if there is no AI that can do that... maybe I'll just rely on humans because their understanding and intelligence can never be compared to any creature. I guess this is one of the reasons A. I can never be above humans.

I don't think it will cost much to build,... People tend to think making things can be really expensive until you show them how to build cheap or free. I remember recently asking an engineer about a product and he told me it cost alot of money but I told him he could make it himself really cheap. After explaining to him how he could make it himself, he then recommended someone close by who could build something like that for me. I met the person, explained the design in detail and ask him if he could build it, he told me yes and demanded way less that what the former engineer told me the price of the alternative is in the market.

Money isn't everything my friends.   Those that aren't smart enough will likely spend too much unnecessarily.
You pay people $50,000 monthly salary, they squandar or misappropriate the money. If you pay the smart ones way less than that, they grow and use it right
There will be a time for AI to get them beside us but the time is not yet come and we still need to develop more. Maybe we can not be above humans but basically, we are equal to each other.

If you want to build something, you need to have calculations and plan how to work for that. If necessary, you can ask for other people's help to make it easier so you can do other things for the next phase of your work.

Most people do not have the details of their plan and tend just to work step by step from their global plan. That can work, but they need to adjust their situation to the current situation they will face every day.

Yes, money is not everything but with money. But we need to manage the money to be useful for our life and know what we should do with money.

I guess you have not been paying attention to my works in Crypto space and this forum. Well, this is thesame issues I face in physical World, you do something really helpful, they use it but forget about you, or pretend you did nothing.

Let me make it clear my friends, if you are a human, you should be aware that our World in close to hitting the iceberg. We need to come together and build something really good that can wistand what is coming and save those who really wants to be saved.
This is part of my role on earth. My joining this forum is Not a coincidence. We need to save the world, others are sleeping. We need to wake up, time is running out. I'm not doing this for me. I've been give a way of escape, but I can't leave others beyind... I'm not just made that way. I will probably die of guilt if I leave people behind.
People should wake up and humble themselves.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spain bans betting adds - no celebrities, no sport sponsorship, no daytime adds on: September 03, 2021, 09:20:15 AM
So, what reason was given for the ban? Was it due to lack of promotion of safe bet, was it  emotional ban, is betting leading people to take big risk, etc? I have notice betting businesses getting promoted in stadiums, and sometimes I feel there should be moderation in what they allow people to see. How about other businesses? Imagine if the stadium is filled with insurance or food ads. Not saying there is any wrong in promoting insurance or food, as long as it's done in moderation and good insurance/foods are promoted. They shouldn't promote just bettings businesses and only the good/safe ones should be promoted. Those who meet a strict safety standard could be allowed to promote.    So, things that are permitted shouldn't be done excessively, and safe betting should be encouraged.
If betting/prediction market is properly defined and is good, it could be illegal not to promote them.
The problem is extremism and lack of knowledge/understanding
1296  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use deodorant? on: September 02, 2021, 04:28:12 PM
of course, the best natural deo is crystal
What kind of crystal exactly? You mean natural Potassium alum, product made of potassium alum or something else I don't know about? If it''s natural and safe, I'll probably give it a try. For now, I will depend more on frankincense/myrrh, and once in a while on aloe vera. Depending more on aloe vera not very sustainable for me. Wish it can easily regrow after plucking part of the plant.   And we really need to becareful how we treat those plants
1297  Other / Off-topic / Re: how i got into crypto at age 14 on: September 02, 2021, 03:33:43 PM
Wish I knew the real reason why you went into NFTs. Your age is 15yrs plus  or 16 now, right? At that age you will need to be really srong enough to control yourself or you could be controlled by the world around you whether good or bad.  If your intention is too get rich quick through NFT, you could ignore certain warning signs, take big risk and make big mistakes. So, you have to be really sure about what you are chasing after and be careful else you fall into traps from people who will decieve and take advantage of you, like you said they did to you with the payment processor you mentioned above.

I'm always careful with recommended contents on the internet or from sites that show you the content based on your interest.  The bad ones could use that to make you do whatever they want you to do or be, if they understand you really well especially by spying on your conversation with friends, family etc. If they succeed in using you, you are part of the Matrix and doing the will of an evil entity that controls it.
So, be sure to do and choose what is right while dealing with NFTs and others.

the reason I created the nft is because unlike most nfts, having fancy graphic designs and all, I wanted to prove something simple could also have a shot as becoming popular with some value to it.

Well, as long as it is useful, serves important purpose or represents something useful.

If I may ask, what can your NFT do for me if i obtain one today?  What can I do with it?

I really hope you do the right thing and succeed.
1298  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's makes you exercise on: September 02, 2021, 03:03:18 PM
Interesting.
I used to exercise (the typical exercise) regularly in the past and the main reasons I did so was to feel good and keep fit. Then I would jog regularly around town, plus lift weights, do brisk walk etc... Now, I don't feel the way I used to feel which usually made me to exercise that way in the past, so I hardly "exercise" these days. I instead do tasks that require physical activities in place of typical exercise.  If you know what you are doing, you can actually be fit and feel good without depending  too much on exercise.
1299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting bitcoin as payment for my business on: September 02, 2021, 10:37:02 AM
Just wish it's crypto business that are less dependent on the country you live or is independent the system. For businesses that are required to contribute to the government(in form of taxes, levies, etc) they will need to use wallets that are controlled by Just national laws. These are some of things I will consider before using crypto for businesses. Hope good decentralized platforms that support people/businesses that are dependent on countries could implement the tax and other ideas, and make the payment automatic... In the end, the Bitcoin principles/ideals are be preserved and users are satisfied.
Have a nice day.
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Diem thoughts on: September 02, 2021, 10:10:32 AM
I don't think it's a good idea if it's centralized, private and opaque. They will need to be regulated by National governments and good laws (assuming it's centralized) else you will be giving a single person or few people too much power over the entire world where Facebook has its presence. You know the world is too dependent on money and he who controls the money will likely control those that are dependent on money.
