4  Economy / Services / Re: How to resolve account blocked issue for Bittrex? on: September 12, 2018, 10:48:17 PM
I would advise everyone to NOT call this number until this service is proven to be legitimate.Scammers pretending to offer a support phone number isn't something new. They will probably somehow ask for details about your Bittrex account in order to "help" you and steal your funds from your account.
Be aware.
5  Local / Altcoins (Français) / Re: Ca chute severe !!! on: September 12, 2018, 08:59:07 PM

6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ether Prices Hit the new Low of 2018 and continue to Fall. Time to buy? on: September 11, 2018, 09:07:16 PM
In my own opinion,Ethereum has still a lot of room to fall even lower. There's a lot of FUD being spread about what Vitalik has said about ETH and what he has not.At this moment ETH went already under 200$ and there's no valid reason why it won't go even lower. Not to mention that everyone is now talking about limited scalibility of ETH as it's using POW,limited adoption of dapps.... I think that as long as these problems aren't solved we won't see a serious bounce back.
Me,personally I'm done with ETH until further developpement is done.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wallet.Dat on: September 11, 2018, 08:23:39 PM
Hi,
If you want to sell them right away, you don't have to move them to Electrum before doing so.You can directly move them to an exchangeas there is no such "transactions can take a long time from the core client" either you sent them from Bitcore or from Electrum, they will take the same amount of time all depending on the fees you've selected, the higher the faster. As for the exchange,I recommend to do some research about the exchanges available in your contry that convert Bitcoin to your local currency, and don't jump into it right away, make sure that the exchange in question is not a scam, you can easily find reviews and legitimacy state of it here at Bitcointalk or by searching on Google.
Keep mind that things have changed these last 5 years, don't hesitate to ask questions in this forum, there's plenty of people who are willing to help you avoid doing mistakes that can lead to losing your funds.
I hope it helps.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: shouldn't we plant billions of trees now? because on: September 11, 2018, 04:37:32 PM
I've heard that planting trees at this point is useless.Estimations state that even planting the entire planet with trees wouldn't be sufficient to avoid earth's temperature keep getting higher."Planting trees hype" became just an excuse for associations to earn quick bucks.
Instead,we need to limit usage of fossil energy and replace it by other sources of energy environment-friendly like sun and wind.
9  Economy / Services / Re: Zaigar Platform | a fully automated bounty platform. on: September 10, 2018, 06:59:16 PM
Why are you using too many domains?  Huh
That's just a strategy to bring more of users to the website.Almost every company does that, let's take Google per example, they also have every single country domain and not just .com
There's also another thing,in some cases, scammers register a domain with the same name with different TLDS for phishing purpose, others do it hoping some day the company would need the TLDS in question and offer for it some good money, therefore companies,to avoid that register multiple domains;there's nothing to worry about on that side.

12  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: TreasureBits - Multi-cryptocurrency Faucet + Mining Website! on: September 08, 2018, 05:33:59 PM
The websites gets down for time to time.

That's something you might consider fixing.Other than that, the faucet works perfectly, rates are also pretty high compared to traditional faucets.Just a little drawback,is that rates for each coin aren't coherent;per example 0.3 doge per claim and 30 Satoshi per claim,it would be more worth it to do the satoshi claims one since 30 satoshi is worth more than 0.3 doge.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You,as a trader,what do you think of Nootropics? on: September 07, 2018, 11:37:28 PM
AFAIK the most potent thing you can buy in pharmacies is codeine
Codeine is just literally morphine in a little dosage. They renamed it to make it a without-prescription drug.

There's plenty of people addicted to kaffeine
I'm addicted to caffeine,if I drop it,I get symptoms of extreme fatigue, anxiety and headache. But it goes away after 1 or 2 days of rest.

You can go to breathe bleach, it's the same thing, so. During the world cup, Russian players used ammonia. Those drugs aren't good for anything, if you think it helps to be focused, in the long run, your brain will be totally de-focused. A lot of traders use cocaine, guess why.
I think you are confusing two different things here, mmonia can't be used as a nootropic anyway. We are talking here about drugs that were clinically proven to help focus, they were invented to cure people with health problems like narcolepsy,ADHD in the first place, and they got roundabout to be used for focus for normal people.

A lot of people in different domains, either it is studying, working or trading, they use nootropics.
What is nootropics?
In short, nootropics are chemical substances that have direct impact on cognitive skills or help to concentrate and focus. Most popular ones are modafinil,racetams,amphetamines....
Trading is an activity that requires a lot of work and focus,I'm curious to know what is your experience as a trader with these kind of things

I never thought about using any of these other than my cigarette! Grin
Speaking of cigarette,Nicotine, the addictive stumulant to cigarettes is actually good for health in moderated dosage, what's actually not good for health in cigaratte are other components like carbon monoxyde...

Insomnia is one of the biggest side effects but you have to decide if that's worthwhile for you or not. Having access to a brain that can go at 100mph instead of just 50mph all day may be worth the turning over countless times as your mind is still racing while you try to sleep. Just don't try counter it with sleeping pills, that's when things will get messy.

yet it seems to work much better than nootropics.
Amphetamines are nootropics AFAIK.

Every medication has (potential) side effects.  Every single one.  Honestly I would advise against using these drugs recreationally.  That's just me though.  Everyone has to find their own path with respect to substances.
Totally agree with you.Although it seems that Modafinil and it's derivative have less side effects than most amphetamines and less than Adderall or Ritaline (Whose side effects include sudden death and severe other problems)

Just don't try counter it with sleeping pills, that's when things will get messy.
Yeah, some poeple use Metalonin (Sleep hormone) supplements to counter insomnai caused by nootropics, but honestly it justs messes up body's bilogical clock.

15  Other / Meta / Reminder for @theymos - Public-key-registration System on: September 06, 2018, 07:28:12 PM
Few months ago,I started a thread about how bitcointalk collect logs,IPs etc..
@theymos suggested a solution,to implement a public-key-registration system in order to let users who are registered within this system avoid IP logging.

I don't like that IPs are sometimes kept indefinitely. To prevent abuse, it would probably be sufficient to keep them for ~6 months. But keeping these logs long-term is extremely useful for account recoveries. I've been thinking about this issue, and I think that in the future I might let users opt out of long-term IP logging if they have a public key registered in a (currently-not-existing) public-key-registration system. Though, again, even then you should model this site and all sites as keeping complete logs.

@theymos I know you are busy, but please don't forget this.
16  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Adsly.co - Get Paid to watch Videos! on: September 06, 2018, 06:56:38 PM
The offer to earn with videos is great.
But shorten links on register will result in not much registers !!!
There is also a reCaptcha on the register page yourself that's enough !
Then after register there comes again skript ads ! Then i left this page !
Have fun with this no one will register here !

regards
After thought,it's understandable that the admin added shorten links to his website.Simply because he still doesn't have advertisers to promote their videos so all the videos you can watch to earn coins are not from advertisers, the admin did put them meanwhile that's why they mainly talk about games and Bitcoin. Therefore pioneer users will start earning some cash for these videos and the admin need to backup the funds to pay their users until advertisers come.

18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You,as a trader,what do you think of Nootropics? on: September 06, 2018, 04:25:24 PM
Unfortunately, the most popular ones are the worst with side–effects.
I would say instead, that the most effective nootropics are the worst with side-effects.Simply because the most effective ones are synthetic, therefore their side effects are much more dangerous that natural nootropics like coffee or like the ones you've stated above.
I still think that experience and skills (which requires time) are more important. And there's no study yet (at least that I know of) that shows the profits difference when experienced traders trade using nootropics or not. It probably gives them some boost, but I think won't it be that much. Well, this is just a claim and a study has to be done to prove it. The idea of using the substance itself doesn't bother me, it's just the same as when you drink coffee to keep you awake to finish your job.

Btw, meditation and self-hypnosis (NLP) could be another option to strengthen our focus.
Ofcourse, experience and skills are important.Nootropics won't make you "Smart" as everybody thinks it does.It will only give to a trader the possibility of giving the best of himself in terms of reasoning, alertness and focus, ofcourse he will not become rich over night thanks to a "magical" pill.

I don't know what to think of meditation,I have tried it before I don't know,I don't feel any self improvement except feeling sleepy.I prefer meditation with music,it gives a good boost of adrenaline.

If anyone has experienced nootropics while trading, please share your experience with us  Smiley
