ok well.. I guess ill have 45 btc available on Thursday... ffs!

At least now I know why my BTC was being held hostage and Coinbase was not broadcasting transactions.  Although they flat out lied to me in my support emails filled with BS.

"Really sorry about this - we're having an issue with connecting to the blockchain at the moment, causing transactions to stay in the pending state for too long. We're working on fixing it right now so you should be all good very soon - I really appreciate your patience!"

"Sorry about the delay! Due to a certain degree of randomness, sometimes pending transactions aren't picked up by the bitcoin nextwork as quickly as usual. The transaction should go through eventually - if it doesn't for 24 hours it will be automatically cancelled and you can re-initiate it.
Looks like yours went through."

Let's hope that's all it is.
Either that or it's a smoke screen for other issues.

I had that too once, I think its that their hot wallet just doesn't have enough funds to cover some transactions and they simply blame the blockchain for the transaction for not happening.

The change of 10 BTC per week instant kinda pisses me off tbh, if I have to wait 4 days to get it and the price drops $20 / coin I'd like to get that $20 / coin back, if I got the funds immediately I'd be fine with having to pay the full price.

I personally love MT Gox for their speed I request a transfer and its immediate none of that waiting (maybe a little on the blockchain for the attempted transaction to appear) but the transaction is on the blockchain (might not be included in a block for a bit if you don't pay a fee), but they are a little more expensive.

IMO: It was a very bad move for Coinbase to not Email their customers so they would not have
so many customers BTC/FUNDS/LIFE being held Hostage.

+100. I'm livid. Kills my business for 4 days.

I have what feels like a newb issue, but not sure what to do.

Starter kit all set up.  I think everything connected properly, no lose wires and it matches other's install pictures.
But when I turn the power on (manual switch, I get a green light), it starts but my monitor's "Power" and "Menu" light just pulse on and off.  No picture on the screen.  Those lights never pulse.
I just took the monitor off a working PC and it's fine.  I did have to buy a HDMI to DVI adapter for the monitor but that should not be the issue.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

When you power on the raspberry pi you should see a red led indicating power and activity led light will flash at about the same time if your SDCard is inserted and detected.

If all you get is the Red LED then perhaps the sd card is the issue?

Thanks guys I'll try both tomorrow. Rig is not with me now. Is the Rpi light on the bottom or top?

I am in, although not at the 100 chip level.
Given the time (jan) and difficulty unknowns, are there any wise actions we can take decrease the cost per GH?
Not that the price point is high. It's perfect. My concern is given the wait, what appears a great deal today could be January's boondoggle.
I'm not a tech, but if we can resonably reduce costs we can double the order and improve our chances for profitable mining or selling of the boards. Whatever is your preference.
Not that cost isn't a focus on every project. It just seems like this one has a longer time horizon therefore higher risk than others.
Maybe nothing can be done and you have already maxes out savings opportunities. Just want to push the point.

Can someone please talk to me like I'm an eight year old and tell me what kind power adapter I can use on these blades?  I can't find a simple example or google any of these with any certainty.
Or give me the link if there are already pictures somewhere.

I see the bladecomes with:

1. Original power connector - which would be what?
2. Plug-able gold fingers? - are those like the what GPU's have that plugs into a pci slot on a motherboard?  If so, then I need to find an adapter from my PSU's 6/8 pin PCI-E cable right?  And where would I find those if that's the case.
3. Will my 650W ATX work with this and what's the easiest way to hook it up?

And the Backplane-
1. Cable-based connector?
2. "A Slot for widely available psu's?"  Again, these are not google words, is there name for this connection?

And I know I can buy these PSUs (Part Number: HP DPS 800GBA or ATSN 7001044-Y000).  But I already have some sitting around.

Thanks to whoever can help.

Just got a tracking number.  Delivery tomorrow before noon. Grin
I had them ship with my FedEx account.
I think they are shipping but delayed in getting tracking numbers out.  I just got my number and the miner is already out of WA and on it's way.  Probably picked up/dropped off early today.

News from Punin: "Here are photos of some of the soldering issues we've encountered. Please check your boards!" http://imgur.com/a/t3AKx

Isn't that's why Dave is testing all the boards before shipping it out?

+1

I rather have them tested and few days late than not tested and ready for fireworks.

Yeah, my expectation would be to get a miner that works and does not require an advanced degree to avoid burning it up.  But that's just me.  I guess I'm picky.
I also recognize that Dave is likely doing a lot more testing than the EU folks.  But the lack of anything actually shipping, along with the radio silence, is troubling.
