1261  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: October 08, 2013, 07:11:04 PM
Dave -

Makes sense not coming out with new kits.  But what about cards?  I can't be the only one who would jump at filling out my 25 GH/s kit with some reasonably priced cards.
Yes - I know there are 15 left on the site at $500, but those are not reasonably priced.  I know you have to make a profit, but I have to believe there is some middle ground on the pricing.

You know you could have tried emailing them again.  They're completely buried at the moment and probably just haven't gotten to it yet.  Filing a chargeback was a very low, asshole type, blow that wasn't at all necessary.

They wrote me back. said they processed it. that was a few days ago.
That sort of thing does not show up instantly on credit card account.  It's not like a bank account.

1267  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: [BOUNTY: 2.0 BTC] [CLAIMED] Message Signing in Armory on: September 30, 2013, 10:09:08 PM
If you want to still use it:  click the address book icon above the message box in the bottom left.  Select the address you want.  Put your message in the box.  Then click "Sign" and type in your passphrase when it asks.  Once the signature is present, you can click "Copy Signature Block."   You can immediately "Import Signature Block" to test it.

As I said, it's not really made to be used, right now.  But the next version will have it.

It's simply not asking me for my passphrase when I click "Sign Message". It either crashes or fails to create a signature Sad

Me too.  Really disappointed I'll have to go back to Qt.  I really like Armory's layout and all.  Feel better about it's security.  But I have to have signed messages.  Many transactions demand it.
1268  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL board project COINTAMINATION - EU+USA facility - ORDERS OPEN on: September 30, 2013, 06:48:29 PM
btw: if you live in north america you will order from me regardless of group buy, this is the way we are working things out
do not worry I will honor your coupons/discounts
No we didn't. Come on we talk that 2 times and I'm sure that we agree at the end that I will take care of that both times.
You all need to get the story straight here.  This is what is confusing the shit out of people.
1269  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] NanoFury NF1 USB stick - GROUP BUY of BITFURY chips + US PRODUCT ASSEMBLY on: September 30, 2013, 06:47:17 PM

This was the last straw for me to not even consider these guys. Stack this on top of no video, no proof of work.. nothing.... don't waste your time
Might as well call it VaporFury1
If you are going to have a pre-order, SHOW US WHAT WE ARE ORDERING!

There's always got to be at least one.  Notice the username too.  Fitting.
Always one what there chief? One who questions the word? I don't drink the koolaid without finding out what's in it. So far we saw a screwed up motherboard.. then the op states he soldere the usb connector on wrong.. very reassuring and comforting knowing this stuff isn't it?.. Just a little hint... if you fuck something up like that.. don't tell the people you are wanting to invest in you and your project so you don't look amature.
If you are not participating what are you doing here?
1270  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL board project COINTAMINATION - EU+USA facility - ORDERS OPEN on: September 30, 2013, 04:24:09 PM
OK about the same process for the rest of the world.

1) You notify me by email,  PM or via website of your order and when your chips are coming in. Do that ASAP
2) I will let you know when I need a payment(depends on my money reserves and part stock).
3) I will give you my address. Include yours when shipping to me.
4) I have 5 days lead time in assembly factory. I can book ahead of time but in case I don't get chips in time there is a 250€ penalty... You can risk that if you like. When I get chips it is 30 minutes drive for me to assembly factory and I will wait there to take them back.
5) I will load them with firmware and put the cooling system together. I'm still making our own version that will probably be ready in 2 to 3 days. I'm also working on waterblock(will be available for US in about 20 days or less). After assembly I will do some tests to make sure all is well.
6) I ship the boards out to you.
7) you plug them in mine some coin and be happy Smiley

I will also take special requests like PCB sales, DIY Kits, and boards without cooling systems

Lucko -

If we are in the original GB then our chips are going to you anyway right?

Looks pretty.
1275  Economy / Securities / Re: [WTS] 40Gh/s Metabank Asics shares hosted by pidobir on: September 26, 2013, 07:55:47 PM
No transaction received, after some time period.(Now: i wil only reduce them if the transaction reached my account. The one who pays first will receive shares first.)
So it's again 8 Shares.

Selling them for: 1@ 0.9BTC  equals to 8@ 7.2BTC

Your price has a negative return. So what would motivate someone to buy your shares?  They will lose about $300 at your price. That's best case.

Well thats not true. With KNC being late and probably not shipping that fast.
Compared to other asics it is quite a good deal. Also as you can see im dropping the price on a regular base without bringing in estimate what i payed for. Im not judging you, i did nothing unfair and i think my shares are offered for a decent price. But yeah you wont make thousands with them. Go to wall street if you intend to.
Just curious what your thinking was. Is your real hash rate the 32 GH/s or the 40?
1276  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL board project COINTAMINATION - EU+USA facility - need samples for one board on: September 26, 2013, 06:30:59 PM
7 day delivery if you have chips. Right?

I've placed orders for additional H boards on the 19th, 24th and 25th.  And by the looks of my order numbers and the number of units left in the store, very few people seem to making additional purchases.  I can't believe people haven't snapped-up the remaining stock in minutes.  What gives?*

FWIW, I'm waiting to see what happens to pricing in November. Already have 2 full kits ordered for October, and don't feel like spending any more for that month.
I have a starter kit from August but I am sitting on buying new boards. Just too expensive for the amount GH/s. I have spent enough hobby money. Need a return or to at least break even.

If any of the other competitors announce/show a working chip (HF, KNC etc), I believe MBP will get a lot of refund requests as the pricing was based on the fact that they were the only game in town (well, besides BFL).  If any of the competitors add PTHs to the network hash rate, that 1TH becomes 1GH and that 200TH mine becomes 200GH mine.  So we really have a very short window (a month?) to recoup cost of October MBP hardware.  MBP will be forced to cut their pricing or use the hardware to mine themselves.

These H-cards for October delivery should really be $350, like they were originally priced.  Difficulty went through the roof, but the pricing was kept constant for the last 3 months.  This does not add up.

This is a one of the many negatives with pre-orders.  You have a to pick a price and stick with it until the product is available.  Where as Asicminer can adjust prices every two weeks because they are constantly shipping.
Right - the $350 would have been much more competitive and ROI friendly.  But it's hard to predict when you have a 2 month wait.  At least in the BTC mining world.
