Very interested.  But it's all about delivery day and cost per Gh/s.  Show me the plans.

Got my 10 Canary, thank you! - 5 Red, 5 Black.  Not that I care.  Up and hashing.  Had issues with win7 and drivers.  Ended up using Bitminter and it works well.  I suppose it does not matter as you can't really tweak these things can you.  They are all at 335-336 Mhps.

Noob here...where can I purchase bitcoins & is it an instant conversion (USD->BC)?

I would like to get in on this GB.
Try btcquick or bitinstant. For a better price in about 7 days try coinbase. Thanks for your interest.

If he doesn't have his bank account set up with Coinbase, he'll have to wait a few extra days for it to be verified.

Coinbase can actually verify your bank account instantly if you give them your bank login and password (for most banks). It will still take a week to actually get the bitcoins that you bought though. That amazes me in the 21st century with an electronic currency.

Sorry - but giving someone your login and password to your bank account is nuts.

BTCQuick is pretty fast to get signed up with.  Took me about a day.

Really sorry but BFL just changed way of payment... PayPal is no longer a option. It was replaced by Bank Transfer. Paypal was there about 15 hours ago but no longer... I need to transfer all to BTC. But this will take some time(2 days) to get $ off Paypal...

Just so you know, I hear that Paypal will no longer deal with BFL.  Account frozen, investigation pending.
Smiley Didn't know that... I just look at the page and look for fastest option... Now I need to get all back from there... I put part of the SEPA transfers in Paypal already and since it is in the same bank it is already moved... O well... How long is this out there since Paypal was still option yesterday?

Just a guess, but now that BFL is refusing refunds (bad choice), people could be filing complaints and refund requests via PayPal.  I have never done that, but I hear tell that PP sides with the purchaser nine out of ten times.

Bought from Canary and will order from you later this week.

More profitable to mine than BTC. At least with non-asic equipment.

I'm thinking Canary's margin is crap. Built in bonuses like this is the only reason it's worth the effort. The market will dictate where the bonus goes. And at this point, given Canaries quality service and lowest available price, he has zero need to share the bonus.  No one is going to go elsewhere because they did not get a rebate they never expected anyway. Of course market can and will change.

His margin without the bulk discount is 137 orders * 0.15 BTC, plus 2% "redundant" units sent by ASICMiner (20*0.89) which is 38.35 BTC or $3600.  Not bad for a week's work.

Factor in the 100 BTC bulk discount, and he's looking at more like $13,000.

Start your own then.

"Hope" in that sentence sound suspiciously similar to "expect". You agreed to buy units at a set price; the seller's financial situation is not relevant to your transaction. Smiley

Of course, but given that canary is going to clear about $12,000 profit from this group buy, passing some of that on to his customers would be considered good customer service.  Not required, but it would be nice.

Seems to have corrected itself right now.  But I will follow your instructions if it happens again.
Thanks for the quick response.

I need help with my client.  Downloaded the latest.  The original one never worked well.  Now this one is giving me issues.  I have like 15 clients and this is one of 2 that has issues.
It says it's out of sync but not updating.  And the bars at the bottom are green so I assume it has enough connections.  Is it working or not?

What does "reserved" mean.  I see it as the second post on Group Buys.  Is it an escrow thing?

And a few GOLD colored miners have shown up  Grin

I did a quick calculation and it looks like everyone in batch 1 should get 1.

I was wondering when those would surface!

Seems like the majority of units have been red and black, with a splash of silver at the beginning and some gold coming out now.

Seriously... people really care what color it is?  As long as it's not invisible (that'd make it hard to find), I really couldn't care less...

M

I don't think miners care, which is what most of us do.  But I think a large segment buys these for the novelty.  Especially on the secondary market.  Maybe they like to show it off, who knows.  But I guarantee you people are going to be clamoring for new colors, especially rich ones like gold.

That is wild.  Well it has great profitability right now.  If it stays on top for a few days it will get a lot more popular.  IMHO.

I don't think P2Pools is working.  So basically I'm left with solo mining and I have no idea how to set that up.

This is my first time mining BitBar.  My God!  How long does it take to get paid?
It's more than a day.  Is it 2 or 3 days?
