1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: September 02, 2017, 06:59:03 AM
Bitcoin is a form of currency but can be an asset when you invest with that. It is a currency, wherein you can transaction and pay your bills thrue BTC. Somehow, it can be an asset for you upon buying and holding it and consider it as your investment.

Well that is true, and in its white paper technically bitcoin is a currency. But it behaves like an asset and most people buy it for investment. They hold the bitcoin and wait it to rise which fuels the price hike due to limited supply circulating on the market.
1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the transaction fee for BTC is too high? on: September 02, 2017, 06:50:20 AM
If you trade your BTC on websites like Bittrex or Cryptopia the fees can be $5, sometimes the fee is equal to half of your withdrawals. So do you think the fee is too high? If not then explain to me, please.

I guess the question you need to ask yourself is, "why am I withdrawing $10 at a time?" Bitcoin isn't coffee money anymore. These types of fees can largely be avoided by manually entering correct fees per 21co (aim for a 0-1 block delay, not next block). As for the exchanges, they have to deal with lots and lots of inputs, so their transactions are large. As long as blocks are full, there will be this sort of fee pressure.

So when it comes to exchanges, you should be limiting the number of times you withdraw. Make larger withdrawals to your local wallets where you can control the fees (and your transactions are smaller). And start batching your payments in general to save on fees.

Bro, haven't you heard of Lightning Network? You can use the Lightning Network to make almost instant, free transactions... it will be launched in 2018 most likely and Bitcoin will be like it started only much higher price. hahaha

That is true, this lightning network will send bitcoin price to another highest again. This is what I like with bitcoin, it continues to innovate to meet the public demand. I hope that bitcoin price will be lower as I find it expensive on my opinion added to that that btc value is increasing.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UTRUST!!! on: September 02, 2017, 06:32:08 AM
For having a sold out pre-ico I think Utrust is one of the great ICO coins made in the history and I keep an eye on them since I have an investment which I believe I can gain more for staking and trusting with this coin. And as I've read their whitepaper seems this project could bring there investors to a great scenarios of grabbing some $ in future.

Great project and poise to succeed also. My friend is also encouraging to invest here and its ok since their road map is good also. I am also keeping an eye on this project, as it has also a great potential in my opinion.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yesterday for a brief period, I was a NEO Millionaire. on: September 02, 2017, 06:22:56 AM
I think neo got a pretty good potential, I can see the rising is quite stable and if you bought earlier you will gained a lot of profit by now, you probably should hold a little longer to see how is the situation going, I am pretty sure neo can grow stronger

I believe so, I am also holding my NEO coins. Though it is in Polo, but on paper I have already a little gain. I know by  nest year, NEO will roll out new projects. The have several projects on development, and next year would be an exciting feat for NEO.
1126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for newbie on: September 02, 2017, 06:14:30 AM
As always suggested here,"Do your own research". This really can help you if you do your research, also make a new account on trading site and do the actual trading. Of course, as a newbie do it in small amount, just an actual or practice trading. Real time experience  in trading is different where you cn gain confidence.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The sleeping Giant😊 on: September 02, 2017, 06:05:54 AM
LTC made a lot of progress in implementing Lightning network recently through Charlie Lee's annoucement,
the price has been increasing rapidly over the last few days:
http://www.digitaljournal.com/tech-and-science/technology/op-ed-litecoin-bitcoin-s-little-brother-also-reaching-record-high/article/501355

I agree, this is another crypto to watch. Charlie Lee as far as I know, is already on fulltime development of LTC. For this reason, he can devout his time developing the said coin. This can be seen in the future of LTC.
1128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: August 27, 2017, 03:50:11 PM
If cryptocurrency is made into a thorough currency around the world I'm sure the bank will be scared because people would prefer to keep their own assets in their wallet crypto wallet, and if that happens the bank will not have customers that eventually make the bank go bankrupt

But you may think also that there are some banks that are using blockchain technology and we don't even know that some are secretly buying cryptocurrency or developing their own cryptocurrency to compete with bitcoin.Banks are present for a long time and even accumulated lots of money.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchange do you use? on: August 27, 2017, 03:32:50 PM
Im using different exchange depends where altcoin I want to trade is available. Oftenly Im using bittrex, polo and hitbtc. Sometimes Im also using etherdelta to exchange erc20 etherium token specially if its just few tokens.

Polo has serious problems, check my previous posts please. Don't get scammed by poloniex.

To answer the question, I actully tried all the exchange platforms. Bitrex, liqui, hitbtc are trusted ones without deposit/withdraw problems. Etherdelta is also working smoothly but the volume is low. I tried Cryptopia, it's also good without problem, but volume is still low in there too.
I am also using Polo and I have some of my coins in there. I are frequently traget by DDOS and logging in them was very slow. Also I am using Bittrex and Liqui and sometimes kraken but its quite expensive there.I used many coins depending on the coin where it is being traded.

1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people buy etc ? on: August 27, 2017, 03:10:40 PM
People who keep buying etc are those people who believe that doing so would be profitable in the future. They buy etc and planning to hold them for future profits.

They buy etc as an investment. But investment wise, it looks promising also and possibly it will appreciates in the future. With being fork from eth, etc will be a second choice too from eth IMHO. So far it is doing well.
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More good news for litecoin on: August 27, 2017, 03:01:38 PM
I have got three new information related with litecoin and i think that is good news for litecoin here we go
1. Bw.com BW-L21, 550 Mh/s, 950W Litecoin (scrypt) ASIC miner. Good job! Yes, decentralisation!  https://t.co/tzFwjjr2oQ
2. Litecoin: The Ultimate Beginner's Guide for understanding about litecoin  https://t.co/SMgFNK44ZN
3. Release candidates for Litecoin 0.13.3 & 0.14.2. Now supports 'M' addresses and a new testnet4. Please help test it! https://t.co/R64XDyTtEk Users should use 0.14.2. and 0.13.3 is for pools/exchanges/services that want the latest fixes and don't want to do a major upgrade right now.

I am not updated with litecoin lately but thanks to the update. This is one of the stable altcoin now, I do also trading this coin and keep monitoring its prices. Devs is active on twitter too,i like it Smiley
1133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 27, 2017, 02:53:21 PM
what do you think about this topic?

I think altcoins are better for people that are starting out or people with the small budget to invest.

bitcoin and altcoin is the quickest way to make people rich, but it's not instant and it always takes time. investment altcoin very friendly, with the small budget yeah we can get big results.

Yes, not really instant to get rich. Instant is like you won in a lottery or an unexpected windfall. But I can say that bitcoin is the  shortest way as of now since it grows too much since it is being  introduce to us. But of course, it involved risk but overall still  very great appreciation.

Re: Do you plan to quit the altcoin world?

As of now, NO. I don't have any plan to quit anytime now since it is a good also especially when you are trading cryptocurrency. Also, these new approach in raising funds like in ICO's are pretty exciting. I enjoy transacting / trading cryptocurrency.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (BCH) Bitcoin Cash: 8 hours 1 block on: August 27, 2017, 01:47:31 PM
Grin Grin Grin

I like this joke , I don't think it should has the third rank on coinmarketcap.com from it's born. I also don't think BCC is a fork of BTC, it's just an altcoin.
I am willing to see what choices will  BCC miners make.

Since from the beginning of BCC, I consider it already as another altcoins .No one can get the bitcoin throne, now that it has many improvement and continue to improve. It will continue to improve to meet the needs and demand of it as a virtual currency IMHO.
1137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: August 27, 2017, 01:21:44 PM
As much as I'd like to save my bitcoin for the future, I don't have much choice but to spend it due to everyday expenses, but I am slowly setting aside a small portion of my earnings because I believe that bitcoin would have so much more value in the future. My target is to at least have 2 bitcoins by end of next year.
i agree  i also save my bitcoin but i can't save the whole income came from bitcoin or other coins because need to use for the daily expenses to our home to buy food clothes and anything pay bills etc. but i save atlest 30% bitcoin of my income for the future.

Most of the people are saving the bitcoins for future purpose, as everyone is expecting that there will be huge rise in the value of bitcoins by each passing day. Some people just treat bitcoin as a long term investment; its like digital gold for them. Its better to save the bitcoins today if we want great returns in future.

Bitcoin is a currency but most people consider it as an asset. Because of bitcoin price fluctuation but continue to rise astronomically, it is good to hold  as it continues to appreciates. Its better to hold  for future purposes as it might have a great value in the future.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Explains the terms for beginners on: August 27, 2017, 01:06:00 PM

Market Cap - Circulating Supply x Price Per Coin
24Hr Volume - Total amount of coins traded in a 24hr period
Circulating Supply - Current amount of total available coins
Max Supply - Total coins to ever be created

That is right. Usually those terms you will encounter while trading because these info you'll needed when buying or selling. Also you will need the ICO price, the price during its Initial Coin Offering.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fate of Bitconnect on: August 25, 2017, 11:12:26 AM
Bitconect has no potential, what are their advantages?
only used for landing investment?

If they just rely on landing,
I'm sure in the end bitconect will be destroyed  Grin

You maybe have a poi nt here. It seems there is no concrete used of this coin. Though I not really familiar with its roadmap but only I am trading it. I hope the can launch a new application or services using this coin.
