381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: November 19, 2020, 02:03:06 PM
Your job is to avoid scammers by doing research, stop hoping for scammers to go away themselves, if that happens it means that crypto is dead, for wherever there is success and profits scammers will always be available to take advantage
It is not a job, it is our responsibility to avoid it. They won't go away since there is money involved that's why it is best if we try our best to avoid them. Since scammers are always there waiting for the right time and for their victims, we should continue to be more strict on investigating projects to avoid scammers.

The ultimate way to gradually bounty scam go away is by controlling ourselves to be involved again and get trap by the scammers. Its definitely our responsibility to avoid those scammers and no one could tell us that this bounty campaigns was a scam or else but its our sole responsibility to know it. In fact, if we were never do it those scammers will just keep on smiling and waiting for an instant money while we are hoping for a false promises of those scammers.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: November 19, 2020, 01:09:44 PM
Both the good and the shit coin so much look alike, infact some of the shit coin looks more genuine that the real ones, to know those one that are worth investing in, trace the history of the manager and the team, how many project have they successfully managed, check the feasibility of attaining the hard cap, you can get more of this on the white paper.

I am not so good at determining which altcoin were worth investing in but i am doing my best to look for the best reason for a certain altcoin like i did my deep technical analysis and white paper review of altcoin that can convinced me to invest in it. Up until now i am still favoured in ethereum for it was already proven its project ability but i am not set aside the other good altcoins like ripple and binance.
383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: November 18, 2020, 02:51:14 PM
Trading and investing - both are two different methods of making money and both are meant for different types of people. Traders are risk-takers while investors are most likely stays away from risk. So your decision depends on you and your outlook towards risk. There's no right and wrong decision involved. It's all about choosing a method which suits you better.

Agreed. Trading vs investing can both make you profit if you know how to utilize the strategies to your best interest.

Nonetheless, either of the methods present their own risks and a fair amount of research needs to be done before hand but you'd need to do that anyway irrespective of which way you decide to make a return, crypto or not.

I'd be more interested to hear more about investment options that either you or other people are doing i.e. yield farming, staking, liquidity mining? It would be great to see your thoughts.

If i am the one who wanted to start trading or investing in bitcoin first and foremost the budget or the amount of my capital matters most. Personally i'm still not that good enough in trading and currently becoming a keen observant on how market goes up and down, doing a deep research about technical analysis that's why if i have a small assets i would rather to invest it while im just on my stage where i am educating myself on how i can generate profit from this small amount.
384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the secret to success in trading? on: November 18, 2020, 02:25:23 PM
To succeed in trading we must have patience, do not rush to make profits when trading. Because chasing instant profit in trading
will only lead to losses, a lot to consider in order to determine the right purchase price. Do everything according to the basic rules of
trading, do market analysis first. After that we can determine the right strategy to be able to generate profits when trading. If the price
drops suddenly, don't panic, stay patient and wait until the price goes up again.

But sometimes those learned skills of ours through our own experiences do not applicable at all times in our trading journey. I'd still believe in the power of luck which i bet matters sometimes as a winner. Though its a big advantage to take of having your own kind of strategies and techniques applying it in your trading journey but sometimes it doesn't worked the way we think it should be, and sometimes those are not enough to make sure that we will surely win this trading.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin? on: November 18, 2020, 11:31:58 AM
The post clearly stated the disadvantages of bitcoin and I can see a lot of folks still defending bitcoin  Grin. I know it is hard to accept that what you like have some bad side but it is nothing unusual even fiat currency had disadvantages such as; fragility, inflation, and changes in public confidence so also bitcoin has disadvantages such as volatility, high transaction fee, false anonymity and difficulty in general acceptability in lieu of a legal tender etc.

For me the only drawback of bitcoin was the mere fact that it was a very volatile currency which makes it also a unique characteristics of bitcoin too. And this was the sole reason that every traders should be keep in mind and not to deny it because we face it a lot. And this was also the major challenge in bitcoin that we should overcome to be able to generate an income from here. Even bitcoin has a good side still we can't deny that it also has a bad side.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking Bitcoin is Scam on: November 18, 2020, 12:23:31 AM
I think people are considering bitcoin as a point of  scam due to wrong interpretation or information given to the particular individual, even before I joined forum I really know that bitcoin is not scam and it can never be because since 2009 btc came in existence and know one can testify that it's a scam, people are just castigating bitcoin because of its improvement in societies so therefore I suggest that those have to be given bitcoin to hold in their wallet for period of time. I think when they have btc transactions with people and those people scam them, they generalized it to bitcoin, not knowing that bitcoin is transparent in terms of management and transactions in appropriate platform.

Well based on my own conclusion people were too fascinated of having an instant profit even if they are sleeping their account were generating an income for them which is so impossible to happened in a world of cryptocurrency or even in bitcoin. Here we need to do our part to be able to get a profit, an overnight generating profit were not applicable here. That's why i can't blame those victim who being catch by the trap of scammers since it was their sweet words in attracting investors.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we getting better over the years on: November 17, 2020, 03:58:38 PM
We can't avoid those scammers, hacking and the likes but one thing is for sure the cryptocurrency was better and was being implemented to different projects already and projects keeps coming and improving. The Bitcoin now was slowly accepted by more and more users.

Personally i was being surprised and at the same time being overwhelmed how scammers widely spread about bitcoin using the a pyramid method or multi level marketing which highly doubted if ever the one who were being send by the link were already have an idea about bitcoin and at the same i feel pity to those people who were being a victim of this trap. I have known some of the relatives of mine that were already being a victim of this scam.
388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin penetrates into $17 000 on: November 17, 2020, 03:07:12 PM
It became realistic now. We're from $9k - $10k and had a rush to $16k and becoming stable on this level.

$20k becomes realistic today because of those jumps and there's no surprise if while we're sleeping we see the sudden push of price goes back to the historical all time high.

Yesss, finally sold some satoshi at $17k Grin
Oh, congratulations to you. Me, still holding.  Tongue

This was definitely surprising and to think that bitcoin has been gone through almost a year or two being in dumped state but who would've thought that even today we are facing worldwide pandemic bitcoin made a way to become a $17000 value. And a good chance to trade bitcoin and hopefully may easily get a good profit to those who have been hodl bitcoin. And not so impossible that before this year ends a bitcoin price may hit up to $20k.
389  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Avoid Bittrex! on: November 16, 2020, 11:20:02 PM
I remember some people also complain about their funds in bittrex, yes it is one of the top exchange before but because of their kyc and some support and missing funds issue it became a problem to them, I don't know if it is them but few years ago it is reported that the exchange is hacked, so I think they need to upgrade all their systems it become outdated and prone to many problems and attacks.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 16, 2020, 09:44:51 PM
Bitcoin ATM machine are everywhere in my country, where you can pay and withdraw any amount of money you want to withdraw. Close to a year when my country legalized bitcoin in the country which is giving many bitcoin trader a good profit because, you can buy from any store and pay with bitcoin in any store in the country.
Bitcoin Very easy to use in my country compare to where is not legalized that make many people find it difficult to understand and use it to grow their business.
You are lucky because you have atm in your country, here in us we need to convert it into fiat before we can get money or we can use it directly, there are only limited establishment and stores accepts bitcoin directly from your wallet, so most of the time I will convert it into peso then in an instant I can use it, but I need to withdraw it in my crypto wallet first of course.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about day trading Eth? on: November 16, 2020, 02:32:34 PM
Day trading is always actively monitor and change the trading ratio on each and every minutes so we never waiting for the ETH 2.0  , Because current market is good to invest ETH and some other altcoins. In Day traders never concentrate the single coin and more than 3 altcoins is comfortable to maintain the Day trading. Those are looking for mid term and long term trading they only waiting for the upcoming peak.
Yes I do day trading with eth now, it is fun that eth is very high now, I do some scalping, but I will not make it for long term investment, I am afraid to be left behind this ATH, so I will closely monitor the price everytime I invest now in eth and any other coin in the market. Always be careful , it can be dump too, better to stay up all night than to sleep and when you wake up , the market is already dip.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 15, 2020, 08:19:32 PM
of course a lot of people will write IEO as the best methode of fundraising my friend
but, to find a good IEO project is not easy now, except if the project run their IEO on binance
it always depends, but during these days I am currently investing in defi projects rather than Ico nor ieo. I want it more, because most project comes with ieo is listed in shitty exchanges or some exchange with fake volume even though it is already in the top 10 lists still it is shit, so I think, I will step away to some Ico and find more good defi instead.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 15, 2020, 03:23:14 PM
it is  because of fomo, people want to go with the flow and not missed any opportunities, even thought market is not good to buy now since it is pump, but they will still buy because they want to, and then it could happen, that is the the thing when people start to trade without further research in crypto but just only want to earn as fast as they could.
394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I study to learn how to trade? on: November 15, 2020, 01:50:49 PM
Can someone point me to where I should begin?
And one more question: What is the minimum amount of money needed to start?
You may study even the fundamentals of trading and so on, just buy a book even ebook may help you, watch some YouTube videos thwt will tell you how to trade, how to read charts and many more. You  may also learn how to trade if you will apply all your learning in an actual trading, so you may know if it is effective or not.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: November 15, 2020, 11:03:12 AM
From my trading experience for 2 years, there will indeed be losses that always accompany,
and what you say about psychology must be maintained is the right thing,
because the number one thing you have to do is keep your emotional level when trading.
It's hard to maintain calmness when trading. Being emotional and losing is part of trading but if you manage to control it, you can take advantage of it.
FOMOs, emotions are coming to traders if an uncaught situation comes. Like there's a sudden reversal or pumping but at the end of it, experience what matters and it will be added to your learnings which can be used to your future trades.
Yes that is what I am experiencing right now, I can't handle the nervousness that I am feeling now , i just want to dump my token but I know that it is not the right time, and I know this is actually normal since I am new in trading and I can't afford to lose too much, but then everything will be charge to experience and I will be proud to myself that I rely in my strength and not to the other people.
396  Other / Off-topic / Re: Electricity, Internet and Mobile Network on: November 14, 2020, 07:41:38 PM
I think that's one of the main disadvantages of a cashless economy, which is its dependency on electricity and network. Basically even if government can't control Bitcoin and blockchain directly, they will control it through monitoring network and electricity supply. Really something concerning if we want a cashless economy and dominance of Bitcoin over fiat!
Yes let us consider those who don't have electricity in their communities, those who often get power outrage, not all the people in the world or not all countries have electricity in their whole vicinity. And yes internet problems. So I think full cashless in the whole country or whole world is impossible, fiat will not be replaced it will still be there.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: November 14, 2020, 06:43:43 PM
This is when humanity comes to play. As human beings we not only have to be moral but actually obligated to to help each other during this need of the hour. But I feel, that bit only for this pandemic, there's some part of the world that lives under poverty in extreme difficulties and hence it is really important to help them as well even when there's no pandemic. If everyone who can afford to help helps, then we won't have any problems for decades!
We can help other people as long as that we can, during this pandemic even though I don't have extra money to help other, I use my learnings in college to teach other people whether it is for academic or here in crypto world, so far it is going well and they are aware what does the real bitcoin is and they are no longer believe in easy x10 money that usually use bitcoin in their ads.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missed the golden opportunity, now what?? on: November 13, 2020, 09:51:28 PM
I like when you say; "you should not be afraid about the volatility"
yeah, I always think that there is really no perfect time for trading maybe we can play this scenario, this volatility we can make an arbitraging or scalping and everything that we want to. there's an endless way to do it, and don't think about missing the gold opportunity it only make us think that it is FOMO which is not.
399  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela Planning New 100,000-Bolivar Bills Worth Just $0.23 on: November 13, 2020, 08:14:45 PM
We don't surprise anymore if Venezuela will collapse its country at its doom one day. They can't control the inflation once they print and print of paper money. They increasing of purchasing power of individual will help for the price of the goods and products increases. It is not new anymore since Venezuela is one of the country that has corrupt officials. I fear for the future of their citizens if one day they will decline and their country will no longer have the chance to pay the debt. Corrupt government can devastate the whole country, they should be eradicated.
Yes too much money in the circulation is not good, it can affect the value of their currency, they should stop thatif they want to save their economy, they should think first before making this thing, I wonder why they did this, they don't have any economist in the board? that's why it happens?  their country can be fall into debt for them to support their countrymen.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Company Now Lets Travelers Pay for Passports With Bitcoin on: November 13, 2020, 02:27:59 PM
This is good, I hope here in our country they will accept crypto for us to pay for travel fees and expenses, it could be a great opportunity to bitcoin for people to be aware to its existence and also for crypto people to spend their coin without converting they can pay their expenses directly. It shows that this year people become more interested in crypto.
