341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on Open ending events? Should casinos continue offering them? on: December 02, 2020, 04:22:56 PM
There’s a market for such so they would still offer it. There’s no real reason not to if the operators are placing some signs about the possibility of a delayed result of the event given the circumstances that the said event is in. Also, people should really learn to read first and do the bets later once they are clear that they understand how the bet works. There are cases in sports betting platforms wherein a user gets mad on the trollbox for the platform’s incorrect grading, although the game is just postponed and will just continue some time. If the operators are warning users about the nature of the event, I think that’s already the best that they can, and it’s on the bettor if their bets take longer to grade and they have no other funds to play with.
They don't need to be upset or agitated, they need to be sure to where do they need to put their bets on, I mean it is betting game, there will be always a 50-50 possibility that either they may lose or they will won, there's no in between so they need to accept if their betting side is losing, in every game as well in trading, sometimes you learn and sometimes you won't you should accept that reality.
342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: December 01, 2020, 10:59:57 PM
Just sleep if you are afraid of trading! Trading is risky,
let alone defeat will be a partner for us, if you want to learn to trade and be able to read analysis,
of course this will minimize it.

Everyone knows that trading is risky and even the legendary in trading has passed all the failures and the risk of losing before they earn a best strategy that they are using now in trading. If you are afraid of trading then you are not for this area, you should try some area like investment which you can get a profit. But of course know how to trade was a plus factor for your crypto wallet to get an additional profit. There is no overnight profit here in crypto, you will get what you are working at.
343  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin profit Christmas gifts. on: December 01, 2020, 02:59:14 PM
Hey guys, what presents will you buy for Christmas from your bitcoin profit?

I would not recommend to spend Bitcoin nowadays on gifts or whatever unless absolutely necessary. Other crypto, may be some alts to sell or via cash - it would be better idea. Because some time will pass and the regret will come. There are some good perspectives for Bitcoin for the next year. So as for me I would spend fiat money on Christmas presents. But everyone has his own choice and vision.
I guess aside from bitcoin we have also some tokens which lets say altcoin that has a good value when you sell it so that you can have a money that you can spend on christmas gifts. For me its impractical to spend bitcoin as of now because of its high market value. Though there's nothing wrong with giving a christmas gift to our loves ones at this most celebrated season but with the idea of bitcoin i guess we should consider altcoins too.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple (XRP) is again in the news. Will it break its ATH before the Year Ends on: November 30, 2020, 10:48:07 PM
I don't think that XRP will break its ATH before the year ends because all this hype is about the spark airdrop. after the December 12 the price of XRP may become a surprise for the new ATH-believers.
I agree with you. recently we may see the big price change of XRP that made it almost a 1$ but suddenly it dips, many people who FOMO and bought it in @4000 is still waiting for it 5o reach that price again, binance already made an announcement that they will support the fork but nothing happens, it only hypes the fork but it clearly says maybe for now, that it will not break its ATH last 2017, bitcoin already break its ath, maybe next month will be for xrp, but who knows right.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Covid19 effected bitcoin positive or negative? on: November 30, 2020, 11:38:49 AM
Covid-19 has helped a lot to increase the price of BTC as many of them invested in BTC during lockdown periods so automatically the demand was increased and now it is over the moon also those who were running out of money they sold their assets to buy things for daily needs BTC is absolutely gem it helped many even in tough situations, so probably it could be considered as a positive one.

Despite of global pandemic that we faced right now, take away our almost  a year of normal life, the fear for our health and the health of our family but the only good thing that i guess happened in the middle of this catastrophe was Covid 19 has a good or positive effect in bitcoin. It turns the old traditional mode of payment into digital payment and as what we have observed a lot of investors were now investing in bitcoin which brought a good market value in bitcoin.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A free land for bitcoin on: November 30, 2020, 07:53:22 AM
It will be difficult to be honest, we can't do this on a country or nation scale. This idea in my opinion is a experimental economy. Like how they are creating Special Economic Zone where they practice these kinds of ideas like Universal Basic Income. It should pass in test phase to see its viability but right now, I think the chances is still slim to none.

It may possible but its difficult and for sure we were going to wait for long time for a free land for bitcoin. We all know that even bitcoin or cryptocurrency were now attracting more investors but yet the some government of nation didn't considered yet the existence of bitcoin. What some nation do was they made their own digital currency that they will going to used inside in there respective countries which i didn't know if it have a negative effect to bitcoin.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on Open ending events? Should casinos continue offering them? on: November 30, 2020, 06:57:50 AM
, I don't think they should be stopped totally, but before placing any bet, the user shall be informed that this bet might lead to a conflict in result at a later stage to which he agrees to wait patiently till outcome becomes clear. It depends on the user if they want to place a bet or not on such events.

I agree on this The gambler should know beforehand what he is getting into if he is informed of the consequences of scenario that could happen, he will be ready to accept the results, they should know gamblers,  they should not take away something that they patronize because of some bad scenario, the gamblers will just look for other gambling sites which has this kind of feature.

I'm pretty sure a just gambling site would have that in their terms, and as a gambler, since this is not an ordinary bet, we should also exert an effort to educate ourselves  of the nature of the bet, so we will not complain afterwards, I think most gamblers knows what they are doing.

As far as i know political betting were been already an old betting existed. And i guess casinos would make it as one of their open ending events as long as there are people who put their bets on this and it is already a good reason for them to continue this political betting. Of course i know that every bettors have already an idea of this betting nature before they would put any amount of bets. And beside as far as i know Biden was already a new elected president of the US.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: November 29, 2020, 11:23:56 PM
the name of any project is not that important in my opinion because what I know is that the success of a project depends on the developer and the core project team itself. project name is only associated as an identifying symbol and nothing more. the success of a project does not depend on name Project.
most crypto project name was not associated with their project product, its have no rellation at all. for developers team they could took any name that represent project  so it will make investors easy to remember them.

To me project names matters I've seen too many projects sharing same name as others, this is wrong I expected developers to first do some research on the name they plan to use maybe some old projects are already sharing same name, for example there is few alchemy projects in crypto space today, what make them different is use case and blockchain
i am also find several project have almost similar name or trading simbol, and its true make investors confuse even some of them buying wrong coin due its simbol or name. caring about project name will help its identity in investors sight.

That's why i guess name does really matter in crypto to make your own project or one project unique to others and the investors or traders may not be confuse. As i have also observed some project name here in crypto have names that was really not related to the project itself. Maybe they're making the name catchy to the eye of investors which i guess could also be one of their asset to attract investors.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: November 29, 2020, 12:36:05 PM
There are a number of schools and universities that offer blockchain degrees, but how much (or no) learning about Bitcoin is there specifically? When it comes to the EU, I am familiar with the news published several times on our forum that the teaching of cryptocurrencies and BTC is being introduced in French schools.

I think that any education about cryptocurrencies, especially BTC is welcome, because there are more and more scam schemes related to crypto and people need to learn what exactly it is about and how to protect themselves.

I have also encounter one of the most known online platforms that offers subject courses and one of this courses was cryptocurrency from known universities in western countries and i wanted to enroll in it but sadly their enroll fee was high and i can't afford it yet. How i really wish that here in our country bitcoin will become one of the subjects to be teach in the universities but i guess it would take some time to be implemented.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Site Buys $100 Million of Bitcoin Every Month to Pay Players in BTC on: November 29, 2020, 09:32:26 AM
This is a good move for the crypto world community, using bitcoin and altcoins in gambling is positive things for bitcoin because it makes that world of crypto known by many people, we all know that gambling is part of society and we can see it in any country and most of the gambling casino are owned by some government and authorities, it would be an advantage for the bitcoin to be adapted in their country because of government property but I am wondering if this would be possible for the poker site to buys$100 Million of bitcoin because that would be a big amount of money to be used.

I bet those gambling player already knows the significance of having bitcoin as a payout. And this has a good impact to the bitcoin digital economy because it would make a bitcoin market value rise. Though as of now we are expecting that the bitcoin may landed a new ATH which hopefully exceeds the last 2017 ATH and to be able to attain it the poker sites buying a $100 million worth of bitcoin can make it possible.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 29, 2020, 01:46:30 AM
For the new project if there has many partnership with top exchange then I can consider easily for investing otherwise I won't late buy cheap price for a old top coin. At least if we have enough knowledge about crypto market then every action we can invest any time.

investing anytime is not a good thing for you to suggest, crypto currencies have a high risk and high volatile,
you must know that before investing, if the price is still at the top and you buy it, of course it will make your emotions control and feel sorry,
of course you have to pay attention to that.

I bet that everyone knows the principle of investment which is buy at low price and sell at high price. This time i guess wasn't that good enough time to buy because of high demand of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin which was highly risk and highly volatile. Which i guess everyone was dreaming off of having bitcoin as an investment. However there are also some altcoins that was worth investing for at this time which i guess would still affordable like XRP and the good thing was it is continuously rising its market value.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: November 27, 2020, 11:30:25 AM
How do you determine who is the king? What about Ripple? Take a look on Ripple "jump". If he adds $150+ million US dollar volume, it will drop Ethereum to third place on coinmarketcap.

Or you determine the kind simply by popularity? Then yes, Ethereum is the most popular and recognizable altcoin. But, if we compare speed, then Tron is the King of Kings and also the cheapest one.

By means of popularity yes Ethereum was more known altcoins than XRP but lets take a look at the crypto value graph of XRP it was amazingly unpredicatable because of its continuous price pumped. There has a lot of altcoins which has a good potential for investment. I don't want to be hypocrite with it, but i am truly a fan of Ethereum but of course i did't disregard the huge potential of other altcoins like Tron, Ripple and Binance.
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: November 27, 2020, 10:42:50 AM
Of course, corona has some influence on the betting and gambling sphere. That is very sad that because of the corona there are a lot of tournaments were closed. That is very sad for all the fans, for all the sportsmen and also for people who make bets. Well, as for me I spend a lot of time on gambling sites like fairspin.io and fortunately, the pandemic almost doesn't have any impact on this sphere. I believe that all this situation will solve soon and we all will watch terrific matches and win nice money on our bets. Guys, we should stay at home in the near future and al will stabilize, as I think.

Slowly the sports organization was able to adjust, and casinos are also open already, slowly the world is getting back to its normal despite the threat of the corona virus. At the early stage, it was the online casinos who are the only option to gamble, but now we have physical casinos that are already open and soon expect that the vaccine will be release to make things back to normal.

Luckily each gambling business were now adopting online gambling where of course Covid-19 has no effect. But everyone knows what are the effects of covid-19 not in gambling business but in any aspects of life of people be it in social life and even in their work lif. Good to know that step by step we can now moving on our life that has been stopped when the pandemic arises. And good to know that gambling were in good term even though the covid 19 were still on the picture.
354  Economy / Speculation / Re: ATH will be in 2021! on: November 27, 2020, 08:54:14 AM
Anyway, I had a question will ATH happening this year? or in the year 2021?

What do you think?
A countless no one knows if it will. I am believing that 2021 is probably going to be a good year as what everyone is expecting. But I'm starting to be scared at the same time and having a thought of those what if. What if it will be the same as 2018.
However, I'm having that idea as well that it's not going to be the same anymore as 2018. Since 2019, the market has got better and with all of these fundamentals and positive news we've got, that makes my mind to go into the positive thought of having a great year of 2021. Howbeit, I'll remain as a holder and believer.

If its true that history repeat itself somewhat like 2017 then i was hoping that after the ATH bitcoin won't dumped same as worst dumped way back when year 2018 enter. All of a sudden a good ATH of bitcoin dumped to the lowest ATH and because of it i guess there are some of the investors who have been lose their investment. Everyone wishes that after the 2 season we have waited before the year 2020 ends may the bitcoin price shouldn't be like what happened in the start year of 2018.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To be Fair I think bitcoin will go highest highs and then will collapse on: November 26, 2020, 11:24:47 PM
Considering that it almost touches the ATH few days back but from there on if we look slowly it started falling only and today went below 17k and now around the same price it is trading. So if we see this sort of thing happened in 2017 as well when it kept on falling and if it further falls then it may drag even below 15k which means going from bad to worse which we do not want to see that happen.

I was expecting a major correction before the new ATH, so at least for me this is not very surprising. The basics are still strong, and this means that even if there is a temporary dip, the prices are going to rebound in a short while. My only advice would be not to indulge in panic selling. The rally has just started, and if you sell your coins now, then you may regret about it later.

I guess we should already learned it from what happen wayback 2017 where bitcoin market value landed for almost $20000 but all of the sudden after the year ends it falls down in worse. We always kept on telling that the story repeat itself and I may not meant that we should panic selling our coins but i hope we do have a plan B if ever it happened again. I am worried it will happened again but i guess we should expect the unexpected.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs more women. on: November 26, 2020, 02:12:46 PM
Hmm .. I'm wondering why is there need a balance between men and women in this crypto market?
While men are rationally better and women are emotionally better, what's more important when trading in financial markets is to control emotions and women are not so good at this ability.
Bitcoin really does not need a balance between men and women, it just needs permission for free transactions in the world.  Cheesy

Indeed a bitcoin or cryptocurrency were meant for all either men or women as long as one person has the ability to blend itselves in the fast growing cryptocurrency, a risky investment and a volatile currency. I bet there's no sense of devaluing the capability of women compared to men hence the cryptocurrency world need a community, need a people who are willing to invest in it whether its a men or a women.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: November 26, 2020, 01:29:12 PM
Gold can retain value much better than other forms of currency. Gold has a far greater tenure than bitcoin. Gold was first used more than 2,000 years ago. Gold is a strong and safe asset. Gold is a valuable asset than any other assets. It’s tough to steal it, to pass off fake gold, or to otherwise corrupt the metal.
On the hand, bitcoin has some drawbacks. It is a risky transaction system. Bitcoins are not widely accepted. The Bitcoin system could contain unexploited flaws.
If we think about security and other advantages, then gold is far better than any other assets. So, we can say that gold is the best for long-term investment.
Finally, for short-term profit-taking, you can definitely invest a decent amount in Bitcoin too.

And if i were have the opportunity to avail both gold and bitcoin as an investment i would surely grant it. For me gold were a good long term investment which i know as much as the time pass by the more it become much valuable and didn't degrade ghe value. However bitcoin today was supposedly the good asset and i can't deny the fact that what the value of bitcoin possessed today were attractive to any investors and no doubt that more investors were willingly to invest. Can't also deny how risky it is to invest in both but the mere fact that rest assured will be profitable were undeniably true.
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: November 26, 2020, 12:44:07 PM
Maybe some big bettors are threatening to sue bookies if they call it for Biden already ? Could happen, when you see the level of delusion among Trump's supporters.

I somehow doubt any bookies paying out for Biden will be threatened with anything given Trump has started the process of the transfer of power as indicated in this article - see also the video at the bottom of the post.

Trump = Chump

agree that it is probably over, once for all, and Trump is out in January
it was an unbelievable story of US elections, and proved that any country under the leader such as Trump can become "third world" country, without any system and democracy, and that could happen as fast as under four years, that was his term

hopefully, people will stay away from politics for some time, and unite under fight over Covid, to decrease their current numbers of infected people

It's my first time to see that the US election has this political mark of discrepancy with the election vote result. I'm not living in any part of America but i am a vivid watcher of US election result started when the time Barak Obam winned and became president and i am amazed how their election voting goes on and i believe that in this kind of country no discrepancies can arise. But what happened this past election was over and i guess Biden was truly winned via votes of people who believes in him. However it is threatening to know what Trump were capable of, hopefully he can accept what has been done and resulted.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing my $2000 to altcoins instead of Bitcoin on: November 26, 2020, 11:13:31 AM
maybe if i had that kind of money i would take a look at coinmarketcap and invest in the top 5 altcoins
Yes, and now is a good moment to buy some of the top Altcoins because there is a good price correction in the market, as some say today is an opportunity for those with lots of cash to buy some of the top Altcoins.

As much as we would like to invest in bitcoin but having an amount of $2000 was not enough coz we all know that 1 bitcoin today were almost $17000 of course $2000 was too small amount so as much as we wanted to invest in it we don't have any other choices but to invest in altcoins. Can't deny that altcoins market value now were amazingly incredible by how it pumped even a small steps but continuously like ripple. But if i were you, i would definitely put my $2000 in eth, ripple and binance.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Could Hit $1 This Year on: November 25, 2020, 02:12:37 PM
In the last seven days time XRP has recorded a 125% growth based on the coinmarketcap data. This is quite high for an asset that is in the top order of cryptocurrencies. This year it has marked its ath value around 0.7$, which means it is 0.3$ away from the mentioned $1, based on the market moves taking place with bitcoin there'll be mutual growth with XRP as well. I believe once bitcoin crosses $20k we can expect XRP touch $1
even now the percentage continues to increase. This of course has to do with the pump that happened to bitcoin. although I feel that the rise in altcoin prices is quite slow, it is enough to impress me. In fact, I really feel that XRP can hit the price of $ 1 in December.

A quite impressive how XRP has performed its high price in the market this past week. Increasing its value may not be possible to make Ripple hit of $1 before this year or even this month ends if it continue to rise. But as what we have seen in the coinmarketcap XRP continue to increase its price. Maybe it is because of the bullish market of bitcoin too but of course altcoins has its own market analysis so it's of course because of its sole project team behind the continue high pricing.
