301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 20, 2020, 01:25:04 PM

But then again, why is he fighting an amateur?

We know he is capable of defeating other professionals but I think he is just too lazy to fight them and just rather fight an amateur for some easy money. Right now, other fighters are now biting the bait of Jake Paul asking him to fight. We should not be provoked by these people, I still stand on professionals fighting professionals.

Why fight a professional fighters when the amount of money that you are going to earn is the same as when you are facing an amateur fighter like Logan and besides these amateur cannot hit like what professional fighters hit and Mayweather can dusk hit and knock them all at whatever time he wants, he want all things easy, easy money easy fight.

And this fight might be a total waste of money and time and the gamblers or bettors surely know who's boxer they will going to place their bet on. And in fact this game were already cooked which we know that at the end of the game Mayweather will be the winner. How would you expect a good fight from a fighter of amateur versus to the fighter like Mayweather right. It supposedly predictable already.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: December 20, 2020, 12:10:43 PM
It is a very good idea if there is really an insurance service in gambling businesses, but I have never found an insurance company
that provides services for gamblers. Because there is a possibility that the amount of loss experienced by gamblers is greater than
the insurance premium that must be paid by gamblers. So I doubt any insurance company will provide insurance coverage against
gamblers who have suffered heavy losses, because the insurance company could go bankrupt in the near future if they dare to provide
insurance services for gamblers who experience losses.

If gambling has insurance that will covered up your heavy losses then gamblers will definitely enjoy while playing. And if it was only true i'll bet that everyone will be attracted to gamble without being afraid to lose their money and they were fearless to take risk. I would be delighted to gamble anytime if losses has an insurance.

Probably there are no insurance companies that provide such services for gamblers. I guess they don't see the business case in it although I think that this might be good idea. I believe that many gamblers would be interested and at the end this might be lucrative business. But I don't think that will happen in reality, gambling and insurance don't get together.

But sadly there is no such thing like this and there will no insurance companies that would be willing to include gambling losses in their insurance coverage. But who would've though that maybe someday one of the insurance companies might consider this.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effective tips to maximize low wager slot games on: December 19, 2020, 04:50:23 PM
So far when I gamble using such calculations nothing is accurate at all, because gambling cannot be predicted easily and of course gambling still has a very high risk, if you want to make a profit you have to be able to play patiently, because if greedy then will immediately lose then you will lose all the capital to gamble.

That calculation only implies on the idea of 'what would be a better way to gamble with the least possible money to lose'. As the OP had already said, the odds remains the same with this kind of games on whatever wage you put on. YET, playing with low wagers often tend to take things carefully, hence such calculation would be beneficial to avoid being greedy in betting. Meanwhile, high stakes betting doesn't really need to think of such 'tips', as most high wagers already committed in gambling their money, win or lose.

Indeed, calculation intend to remind the bettors or gamblers How much are they have been wasted to loose or how much are they've been risking to lose. This is a reminder also to the gamblers on their level of engagement to betting or gambling, may remind us how greedy are we at that point. Besides OP has already told on the first page of the thread that even high wager slots have a probability of winning but still risky to take.
304  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought BTC at 23.5K$ on: December 19, 2020, 04:06:43 PM
By seeing the increasing in price rapidly I invested in bitcoin. Was it the perfect time? What is the prediction of price for now with reason?!

Personally, I think that investing in BTC right now is not the best choice, since the price was previously more profitable, however, if you have already made investments in BTC, then you now need to wait for further growth, and it will certainly be during 2021. The main thing is to decide in advance at what price you want to sell it in order to fix your profit. If this is not done, then you may not have time to sell BTC at the best price for you in time.

If we would going to look his side in other dimension maybe he was a trader thats why he puts risk to buy bitcoin at this high price. And gladly he was able to afford at such price which this year was considered the ATH.

I think that is the risky part that you have done, it is really a good idea to buy bitcoin but just by looking at its price, that's too high. We all want to make our money grow, why buying a coin that is on its peak, on its all-time high since it was created. If you know what's possible to happen, you may think that the price will go down in no time. Every trader or investor should know about buying low and selling high, but in the case that you bought bitcoin at its high price, that is too risky.

This is too much risky to consider even if lets say i am a trader or even i just wanted to keep bitcoin in my wallet or hard wallet because the price today was not economically practical to buy, hope that he waits a time where bitcoins value dip a little bit than affording at this value.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 19, 2020, 02:52:23 PM
We had to admit that there are lots of people who do hate mayweather and i cant just blame them on what they do had that kind of impression even though he's undefeated and a very wise and strong boxer.

You wont really be reaching that hall of famer title if you arent that good in the industry.Lots are really excited on how other fighter can possibly beat him up.

He had that title in some areas as "Baby face" yet each matches he had, he doesnt really get any scratches or swell on his face.

Mayweather known as an arrogant boxer and used to belittle his opponents and downgrading their capabilities, predicting and assuring that he will going to win the fight that's why there's some people who hate him. And this might be one of his or his teams strategies to annoyed opponents team and boxer.

Whether win or loss they can both have winning amount of money in the end. Only the difference is the percentage of the winning price.
However, let us not justify things about this fight, we don't know what could be the result of their fight unless it is done. This was your opinion only. lets wait on the date of their fight next year!

Of course they have a compensation for playing a good fight and for giving the audience a fight that may entertain them and may be worth to place a bet on it and yes it may only differ on their percentage of amount that they may receive.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sites offer FREE Plays, FREE Spins, Free Bets - Lets make a list on: December 19, 2020, 11:31:42 AM
Hey everyone, what sites offer the best free plays, free spins, free bets. I am working on a list if one does not already exist.

Of course a lot of them have high rollover but lets start the discussion, where are the freebies?!??!

To be honest to get a list of all these information about the gambling sites, many review sites are present.
They give a brief overview on what bonus and freebies are active in a particular gambling site/casino.
You can checks out BTCGosu for that kind of information and i am pretty sure you won’t be disappointed by seeing the list there.
Moreover we can also check the GAMES AND ROUNDS Section here at forum.
There also we can find about new contests and Free Competitions from various sites.

would it be easier if theres a thread that post all the gambling review sites than grabbing the infos from the review site.

not only that we dont steal a content but we can also give proper credits to them for making our lives easier but i dont know if there are already a thread that i used ln my  example

and are the free spins or bonus on games and rounds section are different from what the promotions of a gambling site posted on there coresponding announcement thread ?

This might be a good idea and will definitely benefits all gamblers, reading reviews of other gamblers regarding any gambling sites and their experiences can make the most impact to be shared to other gamblers who were wanting to get engaged in any gambling site. This insights will definitely make our lives better and properly giving a good credits to the review writters were highly appreciated.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 1x2 vs the correct score bets on: December 19, 2020, 10:54:55 AM
~snip~

Yeah, it is really hard.

There are a lot of one-sided matches and based on the odds that the bookmakers placed, we could able to easily guess which is the favorite or not. But that doesn't ensure our win because we all know that it doesn't always play like that. Despite the odds, either team could win which makes it harder especially if you are having second thoughts.

Indeed. With having information and research by ourselves, we can easily guess which team has a chance to win. Speaking about bookmakers placed, my friend has an experience getting trick by the local bookmaker's place. The local bookmarker's place suggests him to choose the A team, and my friend follows him, but at the end of the game, he loses the money because the situation has changed. He complains to that man, but that man denied to trick him because that is my friend's risk. It is an example that no matters what other people suggest, we should research to find the right team.

It is difficult to trust in anyone when it comes to placing a bets. This must be considered if ever in placing our bets there have someone who would talked to us and will tackle about placing our bets. I am not saying that local bookmakers shouldn't be trusted but the time now wasn't like before, there have a lot of people used to trick others for the sake of their personal agenda. At the end of the day the most important decision lies on us to be able to spare from this kind of people.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 18, 2020, 10:37:35 PM
~

Losses in gamble cant really be blamed off into others yet its your money and its your own decision that you had made.

Of course, we can't shift the blame for the loss of money due to losing in gambling to other people. However, it is worth remembering that if in the country people has very small salaries and casinos are located in easy access, then this pushes they  to try their luck and try to earn a lot of money on gambling to improve their lives..
As a rule, when people have a normal income, they go to the casino from time to time to tickle their nerves.

The sole responsibility of a gamblers lose were definitely should be blame on the gamblers itself. Knowing some casino built in a third world developing countries and as a human, people may get attract to try their luck if they get the informatiob that earning a high profit was possible in gambling they this opportunity will be considered. Government were allowing this kind of business to operate inside their country hoping that this can help to the betterment of the country and its people

310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 18, 2020, 05:37:56 PM
I expect Paul to be prepared for this fight or else the fight will be over before it even started, it happens in a boxing fight where the underdog will land a lucky shot and become the winner although we shouldnt consider it as lucky shot but for Mayweather fan is a lucky shot.

Paul shoul've prepared for this fight because people already know what kind of player does Mayweather has. This mighe be some waste of money to place a bets on but there are also some avid fan of Mayweather that we should considered and respect too. Though we might not wanted this ge to push through because it was a total waste of time but this might be known to anybody that in any cases, this same kind of game or battle may possibily happen.
311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: does it really make sense trading on Bitcoin? on: December 18, 2020, 11:19:11 AM
If by trading you mean buying and selling to profit from the volatility or fluctuation in price, then I'll say it's worth it and can be profitable.
I think you could Hold and Trade(bet on price with coins) as well. Both are OK.
Such trading could even be helping to keep the market somewhat balanced until supply/demand increase or decrease drastically.
It's not that easy to just buy and sell with Bitcoin market since it's an open market everything is possible to happen here and you can't always expect what you were expecting. That's how this market is moving considering with the whales who can what they want especially this time when Bitcoin is in a bullish trend and is breaking a new ATH. I found that trading this time is quite active since the price keeps fluctuating from $22k to $23k.

It does really make sense trading bitcoin bit it is not that easy as what we think. Trading and selling bitcoin i guess was a bit complicated since the volatility of the crypto should be on top priority. Today bitcoin was in a bullish trend and continue to take the bullish trend and hitting as high ATH as what we expected. The price of bitcoin even were in top trend continue to fluctuates and this is what trading in bitcoin a little bit harder.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 18, 2020, 04:18:15 AM
I've seen favorites lose or draw many times. That's why a strategy where you only bet on favorites fails from time to time. And all the money you earned before you will lose at that moment. So be sure to study the teams and the situation in the championship before betting.

The analysis or research will be important to do before placing the bets because that is the only way to select the right team. Although that is not guaranteed to increase the odds, it can help you know which team will have a bigger percentage to win. The strategy will need to adapt based on the situations that day, so we don't just rely on the odds, but we know what we choose and know that the odds themselves can also change.

I have same perception when it comes to place a bets in sports betting. I do perform first analysis or research before i would put a bet in a team. We do have our own favorite team in any sports but not all cases that the once winning team will always be a winning team. In placing a bets in sports betting doesn't really guarantee that the previous winner will give the higher odds. As far as i know strong players degrades their endurance once they get aged.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing : Reymart Gaballo vs Emmanuel Rodriguez on December 19th on: December 18, 2020, 01:20:35 AM
Both fighters are about equal and each one is good in his own way. It's not easy to guess which one will win, so I'll refrain from betting on one of them and just watch the tape of the fight or if I'm lucky to watch the live broadcast of the fight on Saturday.

That's much better if you are undecided or if you think that both are equal.

Better not to bet and just simply enjoy watching them fighting, better be safe or regret when you mistakenly place a bet. I'll look forward for this fight to take place and find alternative ways in the internet, Good luck Everyone!

It is more exciting fight to watch for if Donaire  wasn't replace by Gaballo. I bet everybody knows already how Donaire put a fight into a good fight if He was on the ring but i bet Gaballo will offer a good fight too to Emmanuel Rodriguez. This underdog fighter seems has a huge potential instill in him. However, we may only know this if ever the game will push through on the set date, i will do another research so i can safely place my bet.

315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 17, 2020, 12:04:31 PM
Agree, the McGregor and Mayweather fight is purely just for a show and money. Switching from one sport to another is difficult for any athletes, you cannot make a boxer out of an MMA player over night or even in a month. Mayweather's exhibition matches will not make too much hype and excitement as it was before he retired boxing.
But I guess Mayweather is afraid to get a loss in this fight, base on the article that I read (posted below) Mayweather was trained hard and risking his position or did not take his exhibition fight against Logan Paul. However, we will expect that Mayweather will win this fight but who knows if Logan Paul will luckily beat Mayweather that would be a big jackpot on him.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-9062923/Floyd-Mayweather-train-exhibition-fight-against-YouTuber-Logan-Paul.html

But let see what will happen, this fight will bring excitement even though just for money and entertainment.

The article only said that but Mayweather knows his opponent is just an amateur, he can play with him because Mayweather is not a kind of a fighter who would knock out an opponent early, maybe this will end until the last round but for sure Mayweather would win.

Articles are just hyping the fight, the writer could be paid to promote a fight, or the writer just trying to caught the attention of the people to read his article.

At the end of the game it will resulted as scripted and the winner of course was Mayweather, he would be announce as a winner via unanimous decision. This might be a total waste of time and money because first, the players or boxers doesn't fit according to the source Logan was an amateur and Mayweather were as what we know a player full of confidence. This article were only aiming to get a profit from readers in my own observation.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 16, 2020, 05:12:02 PM
Most often I don't treat the odds as indication as to who or which team will win. I make bets based on who or which team I think is going to turn out the winner. For as long as the odds are within normal range, say, 1.85 or 2.5 or around that I wouldn't be questioning my choice of bet. But if the player or the team I bet on is really a big underdog with odds as low as 4.0 or above, that's the time I will think again and reconsider my choice. I will usually get back to statistics and then I will look for any news that would explain the very low odds with my player or team.

There are also times when my bet or my mind wouldn't change however low the odds may be. That's when I strongly believe my choice is the winning choice.

Some bettors are considering relying on the odds as their one of their tactics and strategies but this is not required to all bettors since everyone has their own kind of strategies that they think will work for them. In my case i am not that so fan of relying on th odds on olacing my bets because i used to trust on my gut feeling especially when i am placing a bets on my favourite game because i am not that so good on relying on the odds.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: December 16, 2020, 04:03:59 PM
The best portfolio consist of balanced instruments, so you should invest in both the bitcoin and gold. It can be act as hedging instruments for each other. In the crises like Covid19, the world's economy was on fire which makes gold strong in price. so both gold and bitcoin is important in the balanced portfolio for better returns and risk coverage.
balance is good, but not if you want maximum profit. bitcoin here has a high fluctuation, and it depends on the timing when you buy. if you managed to buy bitcoin when the price dips, I'm sure you are the winner at this time. and for gold, investments that have proven to be good and also profitable because of their stable value. gold is better if used as a deposit or long-term investment

That's right, bitcoin or gold are two quite different types of investment. It depends on what interests the OP wants to achieve. If the OP wants to speculate, the best choice is Bitcoin because Bitcoin is a very liquid type of investment and the advantages of speculating with Bitcoin are much greater than gold. However, if the OP wants stable and long-term profits, the best option is gold because gold is the only asset that has existed for a long time and can survive during times of crisis. In conclusion, if the OP wants short-term investments choose Bitcoin, and if you want to invest long-term choose Gold. Investment only recognizes high risk high return. And make your best investment portfolio.

I bet everyone was been dreaming to have both gold and bitcoin as an investment because the two also has their own different market mark up with the different investment platform too. If i were going to ask i would be loved to have both investment because for me gold were intended for a long term investment and bitcoin maybe a good investment too but among the two, bitcoin has the capability to give a good investments too even short term investment or long term investment.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 16, 2020, 03:16:18 PM
It's interesting to see a legendary fighter like Floyd Mayweather come back. I, like a lot of people, thought he was finished after his fight with Conor McGregor and he has said many times that he's not coming back. I think he's the clear favorite to win this fight. I hope he beats Logan Paul.

Obviously he has shown very little interest in resuming his professional career. Recently Mayweather turned down an offer to fight Manny Pacquiao. He agreed to the match against Logan Paul, because it is an exhibition match involving an amateur fighter. He doesn't have to train too hard for this fight and it may be a cakewalk for him (if we look in to the performance of Logan Paul against KSI).

Mayweather still found that his boxing career can give him a profit which will only happen if ever he would going to win this incoming fight. But i guess knowing that Logan Paul was an amateur fighter will make the fight less interesting. I am not underestimating the capability of Logan Paul but knowing how Mayweather played he supposed to be in pair with a fighter that has already established his name in the world of boxing.

Maybe the fact that Logan Paul was an amateur boxer can lessen the interesting fight but as long as both boxers give their best to give their audience and supporters a good game to watch on were already enough. Logan Paul will definitely prepared this incoming that much to be able to set the game to Mayweather on fire. But the sudden stop of Mayweather to his boxing career couldn't make him also less to give audience a good fight. Both boxer should prepare for this fight.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally reached $20k on: December 16, 2020, 02:32:06 PM
Bitcoin hits $20,000

It did happen. Congratulations to everyone!

Well, let the rally continue. ...

Let's leave this for history Smiley

This is what we all have been waiting for, and this was serve a celebration. This has not just proven that history repeats itself but today it surpasses the 2017 ATH. This was so impossible to think of because despite of the current pandemic that the world was facing today, bitcoin did make it to the $20000 and this was incredibly amazing. This is it, and hopefully will continue even the year 2020 ends.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: December 16, 2020, 11:59:36 AM
crypto has a fluctuating price whereas gold has a stable price. it all depends on their respective views, there are still many people who don't know crypto and still think that gold is more valuable but for those of us who already know crypto and invest, of course, will think that crypto is more valuable
If we are honest, for safe haven assets, gold is certainly better than Crypto, but if you want to get profit from price fluctuation cycle then Crypto is the right choice, with Volatile prices we can get profit when trading. Gold is suitable for long-term investment because your assets not changing, but stable.
The mere thing about gold was it is a stable investment and you rest assured that even if you keep it for a long time it still has a value while having cryptocurrency will definitely give you a profit even a high profit depend on how you would play your investment but of course a higher risk comparing to have a gold. But today no doubt that having a cryptocurrency accnt and has a coin in it was priceless to be considered.
