801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend in cryptocurrency? on: October 30, 2019, 12:48:12 PM
Lending crypto is not a good idea. Becaise it is very complicated. All we know that crypto price is changing quickly it's price. But I will answer your question. I will choose bitcoin to lend because all we know the power of bitcoin it will stay alive even experienced a low price in a long time so it is better to lend bitcoin so you can use it in long period of time without any worry of coin death.
I will not definitely not lend any amount, not because I do not trust the process but because market is unstable, it is too risky, I will make my budget to tight so that if there is a chance to buy more I can buy it specially when bear market takes place again. We do not know when will be the market goes deeply so do not lend because I think in lending there will be a percentage every month.
802  Economy / Economics / Re: The U.S. Government Tried To Shut Down Bitcoin on: October 30, 2019, 09:09:14 AM
They can't shut down Bitcoin as they cannot control it and they can only control their citizens when it comes to Bitcoin so no wonder why Americans cannot participate into ICO's , have few exchages when they can trade , they have taxes on cryptos ..basically USA doesn't want population to use Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and now they are trying to shut down Libra's project.

I don't know what to think about them ...looks like they are loosing this racer every day and China takes over slow and steady. I hope that in the end all the world will acknowledge the power of Bitcoin and Blockchain because there is no progress without it.
Yes they cannot shutdown it, people will do their way so that government cant stop them. There are other countries as well that prohibits their citizens to use and purchase bitcoin but still people continues to have it. If their network provider ban any bitcoin sites still they can browse to it, if they know how to surf with other ip address that cannot be block by their networks.
803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: I am thinking of Quitting my Interest in Crypto Currency on: October 29, 2019, 02:12:51 PM
We cannot really blame the exchanges for being limited to some countries. One of the reason why exchanges have limited or no access to other countries is because of the government itself. The policies of the government and their regulations are sometimes very hard on exchanges and sometimes they will ban it in their area. Such as binance cannot be accessed in the US because of the economic war between US and China. Also exchanges are also business and their biases is not just for themselves but also to protect their investors and users.
Indeed. There are some rules in each country and we cannot abide the law. If you really want to have that exchange in your country you may need a  vpn for you to open that exchanges. It can help you to hide your IP and get a new IP that will suit to their protocol.
804  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: October 29, 2019, 08:46:37 AM
I do not speculate because I do not want my expectation to become trash. I only keep following the price action and it is the reason I do not expect too much. The market is still bear and it seems that it will take more time for us to confirm the market reversal.
Yeah its my mentality too, but looking to the current state of bitcoin , it looks like it will not bring us to the moon, bitcoin is very unstable and too hard to predict that it would be go up to the moon. Maybe next year it would be, but not now.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: October 28, 2019, 03:05:56 PM
It could be a factor. Now, some investors are hesitant but those investors who are really knowledgeable and are good researchers don't make this a hindrance.
Yes some of it, but do not say entire because it is now ,there are just some factor that really affects it. Some investor does not believes in crypto because of what happen last year , many projects turns into scam ,even projects that are being advertize in different platforms as well as having a partnered projects as well. But the thing is many people quit crypto because of lack of hope, as what we can see 2yrs ago ,bitcoin has on its ATH then last year it dumps so hard, at that time many people loses their money because of a sudden bear market ,I think that is the main reason they are afraid to the unstable market.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unrealistic bounty allocations on: October 28, 2019, 12:30:48 PM
The allocation is too much for only bounty hunters. It's a trick to lure them to participate much. If millions of dollars is allocated for only for bounty hunters, that's to say they don't need help from investors for their project to get launched.
Thousands of bounty hunters will apply for it without having a double thought about the allocation. The bounty allocation is really tempting you know (Lola)
Yep. Always calculate the bounty rewards as well as the total volume of their coin. So that you will be aware of what they are offering. Also some of them have a billiond circulating token, it is not good not unless they will burn some of them in the future when the campaign ends.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: October 28, 2019, 09:36:28 AM
The tips that you make are actually very good for us to use in doing long-term holds. We must always update the latest news because the altcoin we hold must have an update, but I prefer to use short-term hold because the risk is smaller than long-term hold, but it all depends on each of us.
Yes it all depends on our strategy and how we deal with it. I prefer long term holding as best suits me because I dont need to monitor the market often since I have a set target price on when to sell. However just like what op said we have to be careful on choosing what coins to invest in because its not easy as it seems. There are only few coins worth to hold for long term period like the well-established coins.
Long term hodl is quite tempting, there will be possibilities that the coin you are hodling may have some dips, look at the chart of XRP for example last year it has a high price but now look at its price. If you want to hodl it then you need to have a brave heart for you not to be easily distracted in every dips that a coin will take.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: October 28, 2019, 08:12:08 AM
I remember the similar question, but instead IEO it was ICO. What happened many times is that price after ICO drops heavily, and it was better to buy in that time, at lower prices. Looks like same thing happens with some IEO`s, but only with some, not with all of them. Some coins never recover, while some don`t drop after ICO.
What is the smart thing to do here? Well like always when we are not sure in something, we should have careful approach. For example invest just 50% of your planned investment while IEO is ongoing, leave other 50% in case if price drops after so you can buy more.
Yes, but some profit in after an IEO takes place, because most of them when listed in an exchange the price go lower than IEO price, so I think buying in an exchange for a cheaper price is good. You may get more profit if you buy more before it booms in  other exchanges also. You may invest in other coins that they have been partnered also.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 28, 2019, 05:18:24 AM
in many cases people become scammed because they themselves are careless or have no knowledge at all but go directly to the internet, especially in terms of investing in crypto, all they think about is money i mean about the benefits of investing, people get greedy, and finally they end up losing money because they have no knowledge at all.
They are lacking in knowledge and they are not aware on many scam in the internet. They are being fooled by fake advertisement that saying they will be easily rich when they join but they need to invest little amount of money first to gain more. Easy money can fool many people who wants easy work to get money.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: October 28, 2019, 03:28:35 AM
For me, to identify fraudulent or unreliable projects. First I check the website and the security of the host and the domail. Next, I will examine the team, the project creator and its members. And finally the target, whitepaper, ... If it's a fraud project, there will be many plagiarism areas from other projects.
Even website can be deceiving too. They can easily purchase the domain and ssl , I am looking for the teams' credential if it is true or not, also looking for their permit in the bussiness so that I will have a peaceful mind investing on them.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't give up on: October 27, 2019, 02:47:03 PM
Giving up should be out of the options when one joins cryptocurrency because crypto has come to stay and revolutionize the way of financial transactions. Most projects take time to reach their full capabilities and I believe the early adopters of Bitcoin can attest to this fact. The believers of Bitcoin who were patient enough during the early days of Bitcoin enjoyed their full profits during the 2017 ATH of BTC. Things take time in crypto and only the patient investor enjoys at the end of the day.
We may win some in some projects but there will be always a lose some and scam project , more and more project are into IEO which is good becauae they can be tradable right away. Giving up is for only a weak hearted people. Dont  get disappointed so easily in a sudden changes in bitcoin prices, it always happen. We need to stay calm. Right now bitcoin price is going up about $1200+ for the past week. We are expecting that it would be higher than now.
812  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 27, 2019, 12:23:57 PM
Events such as yesterday's increase in the price of Bitcoin by more than 30% during the day give hope that the main cryptocurrency can still return to the mark of 20 thousand dollars. We need a powerful favorable news background and, as we see investors come to the market and prices can soar very high in a few hours.
It shows in the graph in just one week bitcoin increase in about 13% . It is now too far to 20k, chinese president news  I think affects the market that is why the price goes up now. I will be hoping for no more fud for this year so that bitcoin price will more increase.
813  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: October 26, 2019, 08:54:06 PM
We can get people to use bitcoin as a currency by simply influencing them on what they can do and what they may do in crypto and also on how they can regulates to bitcoin. Yes, we must also influence them to use bitcoin as their payments to some stores that are already accepting bitcoin to get paid their products or goods so when they saw the legitimacy of bitcoin as a currency maybe they can used it as their personal currency.
Show them things that will be the proof of the existence of bitcoin. It could be your latest transaction, your trades or what it could be anything that has an equivalent bitcoin in return. Everything with proof will let them believe and use bitcoin as currency. It is east to influence someone with valid proof of earning.
814  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Money Losing Worth, Bitcoin and Gold Getting Important on: October 26, 2019, 05:46:38 PM
We can also consider this knowing that technology is starting to improve as time passes by and the monetary stystem goes by with it too. Everything is going digital and instant. It should not be a surprise seeing people getting tired of using fiat knowing that it has interest and has a very low volatility. It will be a massive update and improvement for the global economy, it can either become higher or lower, we cannot conclude anything yet.
Fast paced technology may be one of the reason , we need to go and follow the fast paced technology in order for us not to be left out. Many enterprises, establishment are already in a digital era wherein fiat is not the only method of payment perharps people uses digital currency to pay for their bills.
815  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 26, 2019, 03:25:16 PM
still be patient, because I'm sure not only you who experienced something bad like that. I always pray that the price of BTC can be like in the past 2017, because I will also be happy if all that is realized soon. persevere and keep up the spirit of friends, try to start a new job so that our minds are not focused thinking about something that has passed. don't be too sad, you have to get back up. and looking for a job that can earn money to start something new from now.
We all hope that it will be like that again, but the thing is , bitcoin price now compare the price bout years ago is too far from what it has been now, I must say that it could be happen by next year if the price of bitcoin will continue to goes up and the circulation will be good. Predicting ,$20k is having a little probability to happen this year.
816  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 26, 2019, 01:05:43 PM
I think only people who can not control their patience and people who are very easily influenced by something new that makes spending bitcoin owned when prices fall while bitcoin can potentially increase prices.
People with lack of patience and not risk taker is prone to a massive loss of their assets, in times like theses they will spend their bitcoins because of a sudden dips and dumps, they didnt know what are the worth of this risk, dont spend now! We may see bitcoin awhile ago pump its price ,maybe not now bitcoin will be at an uncertain price but who knows it will go to moon few months from now.
817  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Money Losing Worth, Bitcoin and Gold Getting Important on: October 26, 2019, 10:04:30 AM
yes you are right our OP are lucky people to have entered into bitcoin and cryptocurrency. because we realized earlier that there was no point in accumulating fiat money because it would later be eroded by high inflation. we better buy bitcoin whose price can increase in the future. bitcoin can be used as an investment tool and a good store of value. unfortunately not everyone understands bitcoin and cryptocurrrency. so they still continue to rely on fiat money.
Inflation will be the problem of fiat, later on gold and bitcoin would be a great investment for everyone ,because as time passes by , their value becomes higher and higher, people who own these things becomes rich by obtaining little amount of it. So if you have fund now better to buy bitcoin and gold it will be a long way run good investment.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your patience is being tested on: October 24, 2019, 08:03:54 AM
It needs to have patience when it comes to this type of invesment, you need to wait for the good time to sell and when the value crashes, you might aswell wait or sell and look for a better entry point.
people might end up losing more money if they cant wait or they expect fast profits in a short duration of time.

Before investing, we already have a target to invest in something like cryptocurrency. when it still has not increased, then the momentum analysis to find out when the increase will occur must be done or rather we do a review of the investments we have done so we can get a profit
Unstable market is so very tempting, it can push you to sell out your coins, patience will always be tested we badly needed this in our trading ,it makes us frustrated that we need to sell all coins because we are afraid that we might be left out and our coins will be go with inflation .
819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: October 24, 2019, 05:48:20 AM
I am careful what I do and try to check where I am sending my crypto to. I have lost a lot of crypto sending bch to a bitcoin address on localbitcoins. Sad
I also signed up for an online eth wallet which I later couldn't access after being paid out a lot for a bounty Sad I know you must not use online wallets but eth had just come out and there were not that many wallets to choose from. Many people lost out because of that. Now I use a hardware wallet and will never use anything else again. NEVER USE AN ONLINE WALLET!!

Its good for you, I have lost a lot, not because of online wallet but because of trading to a lower amount and then after few more days the coin goes up. But in terms of wallet it is not bad to use online wallet as long as you will put different security measure such as 2FA and SMS verification.
820  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: October 14, 2019, 06:54:00 AM
There is nothing like game over for Bitcoin. Bitcoin has the largest market dominance and this tells how strong and supportive the Bitcoin community is. In fact, Bitcoin will be the last cryptocurrency to fade out from the system if crypto is to go into oblivion, which will not happen anyway. Bitcoin is the future and it is time to buy more.
Having some dip in bitcoin always makes people alarmed and emotional. We need to stay calm and focus because if we continue with this trait market will will fall up easily, with this scenario we may think that this time is more better to buy some bitcoin rather than selling it ,emotion would be a great factor.
