1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Custom tokens disappear after closing Ethereum Wallet on: September 18, 2017, 11:54:31 AM
Don't you think to change your wallet to MyEtherWallet? There is no such kind of problems at MEW as I know. And migration process is just copy-paste the private key)

I think this is a very feasible solution here. As I do not have problem using myetherwallet and its easy to used. Problem is they do not have an app I think since its an online wallet. You can try to open here your wallet @OP and then check in ethplorer or etherscan for your other tokens.
1082  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: September 18, 2017, 11:37:17 AM
I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

Holding is more effective than Day trade. If we have a lot of patience for sure we can do the long term investment. There are many people who became millionaire because of the long term investment. I will also do that for me to become millionaire.

Base on my experience holding is more profitable in the long run. You can save also from charges for every trading if you choose to hold and sell in the long time.Though sometimes I do also day trading.
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China just like banning things, Google, Facebook, Twitter, then Bitcoin. on: September 18, 2017, 11:28:35 AM
I think Chinese government is a control freak
. They fear the things they cant handle and control. They fear that their people would be knowledgeable enough to know what is happening in other or in their country most importantly. Those that are not filtered. Opinions and reviews of other nationalities regarding their country. I had read that the reason why they banned the major bitcoin exchangers is because they wanted to release a somehow similar ecurrency like bitcoin. I am not sure of this though.
China might introduce their own crypto , they want that they are the lead, since they can't control btc they will surely find no reason to use it. Maybe once they knew how to control it they might reconsider to remove the ban.

Well we can always speculate and it can happen. China is a big market, they create their own cryptocurrency that can compete with bitcoin and they are free to do it.But we dont know until when they can do it,because people will always finds ways to circumvent it.
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Taxi on: September 13, 2017, 03:19:32 AM
I think it would be great if you could pay your Taxi-drive with Bitcoin! U agree with me?
I think Uber should add bitcoin as a payment method since it gains more and more popular between students.
I think all the companies that dont add bitcoin as a payment method is because they are afraid of its price because it is not stable.

I agree, since UBER is knows for this carpooling system. They should included bitcoin as an option, this way they can help bitcoin to popularize it and  help create demand also. Also, othe competitor like GRab should follow suit also.
1085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: September 13, 2017, 02:39:13 AM
Most of us have a daily responsibilities.
How do you manage your time in trading and in bounty campaign as well as researching for the news and updates of your favorite altcoin?
For sure your time of trading is the same as in bounty campaign right? and im sure you will not consume 1hr just watching your trades or the charts analysis, In just 1 hr or two hours i can do it divided while in bounty campaign i keep on researching the threads of altcoins here and while trading. It is easy job just make some minutes to do every particular work.

Time management is really important, especially in trading and most importantly in signature campaign. In campaign there is a time span needed so as not to be considered spam. Also, discipline is important to do things  intended for the time allotted.

1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Value on: September 13, 2017, 02:21:55 AM

Me too, I really believe that after this dump, we sill gonna see the possitive green again. Currently theres a dump again. This the right time to collect more bitcoins.
Excited to see what would be the price after this dump.

I agree with you and bitcoin has a strong support. This dump is due to some negative report about China and once this news settled in, then bitcoin will rise again. There are many FUDders lately, be used to it.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: September 13, 2017, 01:26:39 AM
Metropolis coming out soon so might be a good buy now.

This is what I am talking about, that this new upgrade - Ethereum Metropolis will be another milestone for Ethereum platform. I hope it will make Ethereum prices to another high. So, Yes it still good to buy Eth now.

I want it when a platform continue to innovate and improve to cater the needs of its supporters, investors and holders.

1089  Economy / Services / Re: Easy task for $.20 on: September 13, 2017, 01:06:48 AM
If you are paying in ETH then why are you in BTC service section? There is altcoin section for that too.
Some questions: any personal info or credentials needed for this job? Phone number or anything like that?
Do you need scans of any documents or confirmation of registration (or whatever) other than via email?

God point raise here, and I am waiting for the reply. I am too interested here since I have some free time today. I am also eager if some sensitive documents are needed etc.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: September 13, 2017, 12:59:35 AM
Waves do have a good future and its current rate of 4-5 dollars will certainly rise in the long term, as in the last year. on the basis of waves, user tokens and other coins are created, which makes them also attractive.
I do believe  that waves has a good future, but as what @gustavroy have said he's tired, so with me. Development is still slow with waves and it seems its still on trial mode where you can make a trial coin. I'm still hopeful with waves.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it better to invest in bitcoin or ethereum ? on: September 12, 2017, 04:12:57 AM
Bitcoin and Ethereum are both top market cap cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin being the most well known and the priciest should be a major part of your portfolio. As others in this thread have said, don't put all of your eggs in one basket. Ether should have a role in your portfolio, but that percentage should be determined by yourself. Also, don't limit yourself to only BTC and ethereum. Other well known altcoins such as Litecoin should also be considered.

That is right and I keep holding my Ethereum coin as I do believe that it will appreciates soon. They have many projects and i think they are having an upgrade with their system something code named like  Metropolis? Since they are the top coins, I have no worries.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: September 12, 2017, 04:04:03 AM
As the age of cryptocurrency comes into full force, it will facilitate a subversively viable taxation avoidance strategy for many of the technically savvy users of peer-to-peer payment systems. In doing so, cryptocurrency use will act to erode the tax revenue base of national jurisdictions, and ultimately, reposition taxation as a voluntary, pay-for-performance function. In this post, I cover some of the benefits such a strategy will have for cryptocurrency investors, why our notion of taxation is ripe for disruption, and why cryptocurrency taxation is enabled by default.

I agree that this growing use of crypto will actually diminish the tax revenue to a significant level. Transactions using Bitcoin for example does not have to go through any central agency anymore, thereby removing the possibility of being tracked for tax purposes. But if you say that taxation will have to be repositioned as voluntary, it will effectively kill the government. It is not good. Only 1 of 100 might do the voluntary payment.  Grin

It will diminish the tax, but when you used bitcoin but when you convert it to fiat, then tax again is applied. It is good that with this new  cryptocurrency, it brought many changes the way we transact online with convenience and ease.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where are most of the early bitcoin adopters? Are most of them millionaires? on: September 12, 2017, 03:37:49 AM
Just curious why we don't hear from those early adopters or Satoshi himself much especially when there are major issues being debated that jeopardize bitcoin future. Are they all now rich and don't care any more? Are any of them still active on this website?
The thing is most of the early adopters sold BTC early, no one has enough patience to hold till today of they had bought btc when it was in single digit. Most probably someone who had bought BTC when it was $10 would had sold it when it became $50 or even less. If you are getting a nice double or triple profit would not take that profit rather than risking holding for longer and losing it all?

Yes, if they hold religiously then probably they are millionaire now. Also, as the bitcoin price continue to rise there are many people joining the millionaires list day after day.
1094  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last chance for cheap Bitcoin? on: September 12, 2017, 03:05:32 AM
I dont think bitcoin price will double in 3 months.I think there is a lot of time to invest in bitcoin because its value will keep go up in the next 10 years .There is now way its price will keep decrease. Maybe next it will hit 10k but not this year

Its understand that its price will continue to increased. More good news are coming and as more countries and opening to cryptocurrency market, more appreciation to bitcoin price. Base on bitcoins Year to Year growth  i continue to grow at a bigger percentage. We should be very optimistic with it.
1095  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: September 12, 2017, 02:54:37 AM
I am based in the Philippines, I use the local wallet in my country, it's called Coins.ph. It's pretty convenient to use because it allows me to easily transfer the bitcoin to my bank account and convert the bitcoin to our local currency. It has a mobile app which allows me to monitor my transactions, it also provides other options which allows you to use or transfer bitcoin to other platforms. Coins.ph has been handy to me since I started using it because I can use anytime and to whatever transaction I want to do that is within the reach of the wallet.

Well, same here I used an exchange wallet of coins.ph. Its convenient and you can used it to pay our bills also like SSS and other utilities. But since it is an exchange, we do not have our private keys and we don not have control of our bitcoins. But good news that they were approve by our government as an virtual exchange, they get their License  last week.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if holding the bitcoin becomes illegal? on: September 12, 2017, 02:34:19 AM
Actually there are some countries which ban Bitcoin and treat it as illegal investments. The government cannot penalize those who uses it even though it is ban because as we all know, it is decentralized and government has no control over it. They have no means to trace who uses Bitcoin.

I agree with you. Though it is banned, government will find it  hard to trace each account. Also, people will find a way to circumvent with the rules and in bitcoin no one know have it unless you are very vocal with it. People are also shields to hide their IP's so its hard really to implement banning it.

1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the future of NEO? on: September 07, 2017, 03:08:37 AM
Though the Chinese government actions affects too much on the NEO coin, thius setbacks i think is temporarry. Its just creating FUD to lower the price but again, it will rise. I know NEO is a great project  and has the right hardware or  existing project that earns.
1099  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do you think about pump and dump? on: September 07, 2017, 03:00:17 AM
Indeed. That's why its important that you at least should have an approximate target and don't rely instictively on these pumps and dumps because they're very hard to read. If you miss the chance to sell when a coin is pumping, then wait. Never have regrets about missing out on a chance because you may lose a lot

You are absolutely right. No one can predict the pumps and dumps with 100% accuracy. Because unlike the case with fiat currencies, the stats are not available for the demand-supply equilibrium regarding crypto-currencies. So apart from making a wild guess on the future exchange rates, we can't give out any advice on when to purchase these coins.
pumps and dumps are very hard to predict, they are very secretive and sometimes surprising. one might be able to estimate the dump and pum of a coin but can not ascertain whether or not it is true with a high degree of accuracy.

It is manipulated and they are big player or whales. Normal pump and dip in big volume coins is normal but for shitcoin, its being played by someone. Yes, its hard to predict this king of manipulation, and stay away from this if ever or you can  go with the flow, but too risky. You might end up as a bagholder.
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $10k US to invest, portfolio advice? on: September 07, 2017, 02:51:41 AM
50% btc

the remaining on 4 or 5 alts that you should investigate and see if the project is something you believe is going to perform

I agree on this and another 50% to be invested on top alcoins like Eth and so forth. Also, you can try your luck also for another small percentage on reliable ICO's as there are also many good ICO's right now.
