1201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I want to get into trading. on: June 07, 2017, 01:42:19 PM
Obviously, I need BTC to get in but it seems like everything is high right now.  Should I wait till BTC is < 2k? Or ETH < 200? I'd like to get in and start trading alt coins.  But for me to maximize my profits in USD I need to wait till BTC is at a reasonable cost.  Or do you guys see it climbing to 3k in the next couple of months?
Yes, I am sure bitcoin is goining only to climb higher next months, someone even supposed the top point as 3500$ before bitcoin will start to drop back. I think you may wait for yours < 2000$ very long. You can start to trade with that amount of coins that you have now, yes, the profit is going to be not so big, but at least something. Good luck!

For me he can invest in ETH too together with BTC. Though btc is very promising, but it is quite expensive right now, but still it has room for improvement or to grow. Also, in the case of ETH, it is quite popular right now, it popularizes the Eth platform and more Tokens are being successful  being launch here.
1202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: June 07, 2017, 01:32:40 PM
Bitcoin for me is a currency and also an asst. Its a currency since I am earning it, trade it and even load my mobiles and buying some online stuff. But it is also an asset, since I some part of my earnings in trading I also save and hold it since it already grows since I bought it.
1203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of many reasons why I love bitcoin on: June 07, 2017, 01:09:51 PM
I love bitcoin because from this coin, I learn to trade. Also I have extra income from my trade plus that I join campaigns to have extra income again. Bitcoin has so many opportunity for people who are always online seeking for opportunity.
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basic Attention Token [BAT], scam or not? on: June 07, 2017, 01:00:33 PM
Now it is quite difficult to invest in coin through ICO if you are not having deep pockets.

Exactly. 30 seconds and it's over, small investors did not have any chance.

This is also the reason I am quite disappointed since I am waiting for this coin and expecting to join their ICO. Sad to say, it seems they are only buying the coin and do not want to share to everyone else. I slowly bought at Liqui now...
1205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Recover BTC From Wallets on: May 31, 2017, 01:13:51 PM
Meaning you have a wallet.dat file and you want to access it. I think you can download the bitcoin standalone wallet and put that wallet.file on the folder something like C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Bitcoin . I hope this works.
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Polybius site it is offline? on: May 31, 2017, 01:07:30 PM
I think they are updating their site or they did not anticipate the huge flow of traffic to their site. This is a good project also, that is why investors are flocking to their site since this is first day of ICO. Let us give them some time to fixed the problem.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you feel when win in gambling? on: May 31, 2017, 12:55:29 PM
I am happy and it is a big wow. Of course, we are happy if we win and me too are very expressive with my emotions. Sometimes I jump for joy when I know I win but of course it depends on the situation and place .
1208  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: May 31, 2017, 12:47:50 PM
Of course, bitcoin can also lead to corruption as this is also good as cash or fiat money. People who has criminal minds are always looking a way how to make or hide their illegal transaction and bitcoin could be one of their possible option. There bare reports that this is used illegal activities already especially in dark web where someone can offer illegal services by accepting bitcoin as payment.
1209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: May 31, 2017, 12:40:39 PM
I voted an electrum wallet, since I like that I am in control of my wallet with private key on my hand. i can retrieve anytime whenever I want. Also I am maintaining an exchange wallet for converting my bitcoin to local currency.
1210  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: May 30, 2017, 02:19:42 PM
Of course, you can make money with forex, but I think it is more risky and you must need to learn more technical analysis to do it. Compared to cryptocurrency, I would prefer crypto trading. I have friends who are making money with forex, and also friend who lost their money within minutes/seconds.
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: May 30, 2017, 01:06:38 PM
Isn't ICN token use for investing inside the platform such as buying icnx and icnp?
I don't remember where i have read this but wasn't it true?  I have no clue as I'm not a beta tester either.

1. You can't buy ICNP. You own icnp by holding ICN.
2. You buy icnx with btc/eth.
3. Icn will be used for making your own funds or something like that. It was not yet decided.

This ICNP is not yet clear on me. Do I need it to store on my wallet? So much with this terminology, its all mixed up on me. I do trading on liqui, and I like the the ICN concept and coins. So much positive feedback.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Burstcoin mining tools on: May 30, 2017, 12:56:51 PM
Could anyone explain how this Burstcoin work??

Mining by HDD/SSD Huh

you fill you hdd with data and that data is used to mine, it's very simple, now the best hard disk is the seagate archive 8 tb or the d3 external hdd 5 TB always from samsung, they have a nice roi if the value don't tank too much, one cost $200+ the other around $150

Thanks for the explanation, yes we need this storage too. Thank you also for the suggestion of storage to used. I think I need to migrate to Samsung, it seems it has a good review.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 55 ETH STOLEN FROM MY JAX WALLET TONIGHT, NEED INPUT PLEASE on: May 30, 2017, 12:48:09 PM
Thanks for the input.  I agree about Windows.  Normally I wouldn't have anywhere near that much in a hot wallet, but I was prepping for the ICO of BAT and MYST this morning, and that is what those funds were for.  From now on my hot wallets will be in TAIlLS on a USB stick, live only long enough to make the transaction.  Passwords: Yea, I know we humans are poor generators of randomness; I always use LastPass to generate and manage passwords.  Remote software...that's probably the hole, I have to use TeamViewer because I'm out of town a lot (licensed, cost me about $800 if I remember right).  I don't have the program running when I'm here, but just the protocols being enabled creates openings.   And the funds are still in the address the thief is using after hopping them around and then tumbling them in ShapeShift...in fact he added another 20 ETH 4 hours ago, no doubt stolen from someone else.

Since your account is already compromised, I think this is a lesson already to us here.Though I used jaxx also, but I seldom transact with it.Do you have or are using myethewallet? I think its also a good option. Also keeps your computer safe by not downloading any programs from not trusted sites.
1214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 30, 2017, 12:32:04 PM
It depends on situation where to use cash. If in traditional way, of course we used cash but in virtual transaction, bitcoin is preferable. Cash is so liquid that you can buy what you want, no need to exchange nor convert it. It very easy to used and no other technical complexity.
1215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to Trade? on: May 15, 2017, 01:14:06 PM
Bittrex and Poloniex is a good exchanges where you can trade with confidence. With so many traded volume turned out per day, I think so much people trusted this exchanges. Though Poloniex maybe slow for the past few days due to DDOS attack, but still they are up and running.
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: May 15, 2017, 12:56:21 PM
Bitcoin will  always be number 1, because it is already tested and reliable since it started. It has a large following already and a very active community. As of now it has market capital of $28,722,079,392 while XRP which comes second is only $9,305,262,879.
1217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: May 11, 2017, 01:02:23 PM
When I am losing too much and seen the graph on red,I sold my portfolio so that I may not continue to lose more. I cut my losses, but now learned my lessons. Though its a practice to cut losses, make some research with the said coins. If its a good coins, it will recover in a short span of time. Just invest only on legit and reliable coins, its worth holding it.
1218  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: May 11, 2017, 12:53:08 PM
As of now, I think I am nearing 1 BTC in my offline wallet and I am grateful and excited that bitcoin continue to rise, which means it increase my dollar holding equivalent. I am thankful that I joined in some successful ICO before, it really help me earn additional bitcoin.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 11, 2017, 12:43:49 PM
As we can see, the value of bitcoin is rapidly changing in a manner where only experts can understand. We can use this as a manner of earning money, but like the change of the value of bitcoin, it is unknown if one can have this as their full time job. As a part time job in my opinion it is better.
It is hard for me to not agree with your opinion, I also think that it is a better idea to just stand on bitcoin as a second source on income.
I would not make my future financial plans about some cryptocurrency, because you cannot really tell how much it is going to be worth in next year.
Obviously, we expect rather rises than falls on bitcoin, but still I think that switching only on bitcoin/cryptocurrency related activities is not such a good idea, after all you risk a lot because the price is volatile, and you cannot really expect anything from market.

If you just simply earn fiat currency from a regular job, you dont have to be worried about exchanging, transfering etc. Also, getting decent payouts every week/month from BTC may become a little bit suspicious for law enforcement authorities, dont forget that!

Bitcoin is only another tool to earn in virtual world and bitcoin is not a job,but earning it gives us a great opportunity. Many opportunities are open with bitcoin. This cryptocurrency changes the way we earn and spend on the internet. Many people are already earning bitcoin and already augment their daily budget.
