BORZALOM 777 Question 4.How can we validate that XFuel uses the PoSign technology? Is there any technical proof to show how it works? 1.) Start XFuel Wallet and enter to debug console Welcome to the XFuel RPC console. Use up and down arrows to navigate history, and Ctrl-L to clear screen. Type help for an overview of available commands. 2.) Type getinfo getinfo { "version" : 1000001, "protocolversion" : 10001, "blocks" : 20012, "timeoffset" : 0, "connections" : 3, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "errors" : "" } 3.) Get the hash of last block getblockhash 20012 f6a45819b5393ccaec23195c012c91c4553b2999a49fb753129d6158dd3858ef 4.) Dump the detailed info of this block getblock f6a45819b5393ccaec23195c012c91c4553b2999a49fb753129d6158dd3858ef { "hash" : "f6a45819b5393ccaec23195c012c91c4553b2999a49fb753129d6158dd3858ef", "confirmations" : 1, "size" : 282, "height" : 20012, "version" : 1, "merkleroot" : "cab3e8620645adb50a5a7bbe3d156105f64b51983353ee18036228ed0d55ebf5", "tx" : [ "cab3e8620645adb50a5a7bbe3d156105f64b51983353ee18036228ed0d55ebf5" ], "time" : 1510086447, "minerid" : 2, "signature" : "3045022100a21645344d51435be6d032b44e6d847bfeffbb8c8681fea40a2cf0e5f7c16e4702205 2394414ad868339f434fdb8acfa779d85649d79f51e636036113c010781eaf2", "previousblockhash" : "10c85a6d2fced7b9c2d111eb87215c2ab06991916ef2c75c0dba992d6a801b79" } 5.) You see the ID of miner who signed the block and the signature too. The last signer checked and accepted the all previous blocks too Very important to also note (for those crypto tech savvy) that these are not BTC clone blocks. These are new blocks and thus proof that we have a new tech at work here in the early stages.

BORZALOM 777 Question 5.Once PoSign is running, how are blocks created? Will block time remain the same? Like every 30s we’ll “mint” a new block via the static nodes? How do we ensure all transactions are verified by all nodes at the time of minting? We don’t make a new block until all transactions are agreed? What if we have 2 servers on opposite sides of the world (Say JPY and UK) and it comes time to make a block... UK has no outstanding transactions so it creates it. Before JPY gets the block update it receives a transaction and sends it off to get ok’d by all servers... now we have a fork? How is this handled? Thanks

BORZALOM 777 Question 2.What is the expected timeframe for setting up and auctioning the L1 nodes? Will that be aligned with the level 2 and 3 nodes? After the STaTiC+PoSign test closed (where we use manual registered STaTiC-s ) then the next test will be the test of STaTiC registration. Each level ( L1,2,3) will be open. The original Level1 STaTiC-s was added to genesis block but all other positions will be available. I don't want wrote deadline of tests but i hope to these tests will be closed this year. This it also depends the teams who help the execute and evaluate of tests. I hope the first teams will be available shortly. If the STaTiC registration tests successed then i will add this code to the system immediatly. And all level of registrations will be available after. So after a successful STaTiC+PoSign test (which is taking place promptly), all STATIC nodes will be open for registration. Hopefully, this will all happen before the end of the year. Yes, things are moving ahead quite well. If no roadblocks slow us down, maybe we can see this. But, keep in mind he is not setting a date and it could be longer. It will depend on what happens during the tests.

We can see how much Borz pays attention to anything other than programming. As you can see he still has the old blue logo This is how you focus on the tasks at hand... you simply block out everything else because for the most part, it is white noise that does nothing to help him achieve the goals he has in place for XTRABYTES. Now that he his here, I will send him an updated logo to use.

Do we have an answer for the 1st question??
Yes, it will come... takes time for him to write it out properly.

BORZALOM 777 Question 1.1. What happened with the testnet? Was it successful or are you still working on the bug fixes? Should we expect a V2 of the testnet?

STARTING 60 MINUTES FROM NOW! BORZALOM 777 7 Questions at 7PM GMT on the 7th of the month. We have collected several questions and have chosen the best tech questions to be answered tonight. Last month, this was done live with audio and it was a great success. However, this month there has been so many other things happening that we elected to keep it more simple and have chosen to hold the venue, right here on the forum. So, no SLACK or any other invites are required. Just sit back and watch for the questions from CCRevolution and the follow-up post from Borzalom a few minutes later! If we end up with spam flooding the page, don't worry... Just simple visit Borzalom's Direct Messages and you will see as each question is answered. Thank you!! Anyone have any last minute questions? I will see to it that they are answered at some point in the future. Enki, there is so much debate over the xFuel and XBY over on Slack and how xFuel could dilute the value of XBY etc.. Could this be put to rest with a clear detailed explanation, why it will not and could only help and strengthen XBY eventually? Would be ideal for everyone to know and understand. That has actually been answered several times but some people are refusing to accept change and understand the direction that we must go for full development.

Hi, there was a lot of focus back in september on the test network, but these last weeks I have not found chatter on it or the results of testing. Any progress on that front?
The initial testnet resulted in our ability to create XFUEL. More testing will come as the other layers of tech must be programmed in order to handle the thousands of STATICS that will make up our network. Thank you!

BORZ 777 is 48 Hours Away Be sure to get your questions posted so that we can choose the 7 best questions for this month. Remember, this is Borzalom, the technical genius and lead developer of XTRABYTES. So, put your energy into thinking about TECHNICAL questions because he will only answer technical questions during this monthly event. Please post your questions, either:1. Here on the forum. 2. By Direct (private) Message, to either: CCRevolution, fishfishfish313 or SupremeGoose, here on the forum. 3. On Slack by Direct (private) Message, to either: @CCRevolution, @fishfishfish313 or @supremegoose Thank you in advance for your time and energy to come up with some great questions for Borz! Dave

I appreciate that Gar. Thank you. There is a huge amount of potential here, just a matter of getting it channeled. Think of where we were 6 months ago. XBY was an idea about decentralized storage. In the span of that 6 months, we have had nodes registered, nodes broken, alliances, departures, anger, resentment, elation. It was announced that XBY is much more than storage. That storage would be one thing (a module) along with a host of others. A DEX was planned. XFUEL was created during this time. Testnet was started. Board member left. More came on. There was a litany of FUD. 777 was introduced. Transaction fees were lowered by a vote from STATIC owners. And now that I understand the roadblock to funding, in retrospect I believe it may have been the wrong decision. And I voted for the decrease to 50 XBY. Nobody is perfect, me included. There was a rebrand to a pretty sweet logo imo. A new website (yea yea yea, it should have been done sooner blah blah) A non-tech WP was written. Roadmap. Marketing to get the wider crypto world aware of the potential here. Even if you do not agree with the decisions made here, the way I see it, progress was made. It might not be how everyone wants it to be every time. Sure, some things took longer than others. Some things perhaps could have done faster. I prefer to focus on the future with optimism. Yea, my wife calls me a idealist lol so what . . And this progress, leading up to more things here very soon, was all done without typical ICO funding. Everyone is entitled to agree or disagree or have an opinion on the matter. But to say nothing is getting done because it takes longer than you thinks it should . . well, thats just too bad Very VERY well said, Fish. This is a perfect summary!! Great to see you stand the test of time and carry on as part of the leadership here at XTRABYTES. Thank you for all you do! Dave
