We have no intentions of sending out a simple text document to explain POSIGN. Most people cannot retain and understand technical information so easily, like that. Having our graphics team present during the overview and high-level explanations of POSIGN and the other parts of our technology, along with our future marketing initiatives was and is a critical part of moving this project to the next level.

Now, we have the capacity to prepare proper explanatory graphics and video animations of our technology, so that we can offer professional-level presentations to help the people and companies who are interested in the XTRABYTES platform and its technology.

Sabih - (In response to the quote below) Yes we are aware of what happened with Tachain. We have looked into the situation and the affiliation of one of our team members to the project. As far as we know all the team members of Tachain were paid out in the project's native token, none of them ever saw any proceeds from the tokens sold to the community. The tokens they received for the work done for the project are as worthless as the tokens held by anyone in the community. We have found no reason to believe anyone but the founder was implicated in any wrongdoing. This means that the team members are as much of a victim as the community.

With regard to your claim of team members doxxing. I am sorry to inform you that your continual harassment of this project, along with that of Cameron0208, has resulted in some community (investor) members (not official contributors) digging to find out who you and Cameron0208 (and others) are. This has nothing to do with us.

Good times are ahead!

The first 2 weeks of September has been a busy one for your XTRABYTES Team, as we prepare for some upcoming and exciting events.

Today we wish to share a small update so that you are informed and therefore able to plan ahead if you wish to enjoy these events with the team.


Team Meeting

We have 19 of our valuable team members travelling to a private session in central Europe, where we will extend our NDA agreements and share some technical knowledge as well as corporate plans for the future. This meeting will occur on the weekend of Sept 21 & 22 (1 week from now).

What can you expect?

Although not everyone will be able to participate (due to real life personal reasons) we are planning to capture some video testimonials which will eventually be released as a video compilation.

Also, the highlight of the weekend for the XTRABYTES community will be a live feed which we will share starting on Sunday at 3PM GMT ( 5PM CEST - Central European Summer Time) We recommend the following website to coordinate with your local timezone: https://time.is/GMT

Patent News
       
Although we targeted and anticipated a patent pending announcement during our live feed, the timing didn’t coordinate. (that would have been awesome!)

The law firm has informed us, after review, that the changes required to the original draft documentation are extensive and will require a considerable amount of time to prepare. As such, the time required conflicts with their scheduled commitments with other clients, which means they will start working on our files again around the end of September.

Meanwhile, we continue to work on other important pieces of our project. As such; we ask that everyone turns their focus to all the positives that are occurring as we prepare to move the project to the next stage. We are well aware of how frustrating this patent journey has become and see no reason to dwell on it as we approach the finish line, therefore we don’t.

With that said, we thank you all for your ongoing patience.

We take our responsibilities seriously and as such, we’re laser-focused on achieving our goals.  While we have yet to release our product, it would be a mistake for anyone to assume that we’re lagging behind the crypto industry.

We have already accomplished a great deal
XTRABYTES released XFUEL on a lightweight version of our POSIGN technology about two years ago. In January of 2018, we transferred this POSIGN version to our XBY chain (to avoid ongoing PoW mining issues). We have been running this POSIGN light chain ever since. We have no PoW miners nor do we employ PoS. Instead, we employ our own mining algorithm (known as POSIGN-light). We fully intend to release more details about this technology after patent pending.

In addition, we’ve released our XCITE Mobile application in beta for testing purposes. Since then, we’ve had 150 people register as testing volunteers for this test and future testnets.

We intend to remain proprietary
Nonetheless, we still face calls to release our proprietary code. We have no intention of doing that, given the unlimited number of forks that would come about as a result. Not only do forks present an obvious danger to intellectual property, they have also created an embarrassing amount of fraud and losses to unsuspecting people.

Instead, we intend to expose our technology on our terms. While we hope community members honor this path, we do not view ourselves as captive to any individual member’s interests or ideals. This is especially true with regards to open source advocacy. As far as we’re concerned, the crypto industry has been indelibly hobbled by the open source movement. Thus, any calls to make our code open-source can be considered wasted effort.

We have a committed team
Our refusal to entertain open source demands has lead to intemperate and unjust calls that we’re fraudulent or manipulative. And yet, every person involved in moving this project forward has come from the XTRABYTES community. And none were known to Borzalom or myself before we started this project. They’re passionate about seeing this project through.

Thus, any intimation that pulling the wool over these members’ eyes is somewhat insulting to their intelligence.  We believe that their participation in our project is rooted in our revolutionary vision for the crypto industry. Team members are working hard on their respective project sections. And they’re fully appreciative of the fact that the founders and many early contributors are still on board. While outsiders might view the project as dead or inactive, our team members are plugging away to make it a success.

The Near Term
Going through the patent process has certainly been a learning process in its own right. Once I realized that the patent process was a bit more extensive than merely submitting notes, descriptions, and drawings, I remarked to members that the patents ‘will be completed when they’re completed’ (more or less). That statement has come in for some criticism as being unprofessional. However, It was born from the realization that this process would be of indeterminate length.

Fortunately, we’re nearing the end of this process. As they say, anything worth doing is worth doing right. If we were a mere bitcoin-clone, we would not be concerned with patents at all.

Promotion
Despite not having a (releasable) product, we will continue to promote this project. In part, this is done to attract new community members to the project. These new members can take advantage of the current low prices, at least until these unfortunate and unforeseen delays end.

While any negativity within the discord is unfortunate, it will not affect this project’s long-term prospects. However, we will continue to purge our social channels of those who intend to sow FUD about our project (not unlike other projects). Otherwise, we will try to answer every actual (non-FUD) question that comes our way.

We hope you will continue to follow and support this project. Those that do will be happy they have done so.  New and significant developments are on their way.

Chris never had access to the XFUEL cold wallets. He only had the corporate wallets we provided to him for making payments. These wallets would be topped up as he requested for payments to our contributors. He has no more corporate XFUEL according to our records.

No, I am just not going to put up with your constant lies. Now grow up and get lost. You had your stage time today... I only deleted your last set of lies. From now on, we are just going to delete you.

Listen up Curtis. You and Jack and who knows who else has been shitting all over our project for 18 months. Don't come in here and throw this nonsense at me about engaging with you. I did not engage with anyone for months and it made no difference... you guys still continued at any given time to come into our spaces and play your games. How about if you all be professional for once in your time since meeting up with this project and walk away?

You have no business here... This is extremely unprofessional for each and every one of you who were on the old board (who is playing these games) and every single person in our community and our team know this and agree with this. You have an agenda, its very clear. I have said what the truth is and of course you deny it, like any other time I have said the truth.

Why don't you and your buddies all join forces again and try to start a new blockchain project, like you did right after leaving the board?? Maybe this time you will have some success.

In the mean time, stop judging me for the things that myself and my partner disagreed with from your group. We disagreed with you and we followed our path. Be a professional and walk away. Go and prove that YOUR WAY was the right way... make it happen!! We will continue on our path and we will show our way is also a successful approach.

Actually, this is not Cameron. This is Curtis, aka. cefinn01 in our Discord (he will be banned one of these days because he offers about the same in Discord as he offers here) and he is also one of the admins of the side Discord. In fact, he started the side Discord as far as we know.

Curtis is a bitter man for the following reasons: he bought XBY at 47 sats way back at the beginning... he was part of the original XBY board at the time and didn't sell at either of the ATH levels we hit in the summer of 17. Then, he decided to walk away after the rest of the board walked due to the fact that we were not willing to kill the XFUEL project and he ended up selling in the 200 range...

A few months later, we hit over 5000 satoshis when BTC hit $20k and he probably could have retired...

Well, today, he is spends his free time trying to make us look bad...

XTRABYTES Video Discussion, after the NDAs




For the first time in the history of the XTRABYTES project, we are releasing a video production that features our Founders; Zoltan and Dave, along with our Director of Technology, Danny.

This is somewhat of a candid video, with no rehearsal other than to know what we wanted to talk about. Johan, our Manager of Graphics brought along his professional equipment for the meeting and 2 hours before it was time to head back to the airport, we found a nice spot on the lake and he pressed record.

Golden, who you can see in the image above, elected to not participate in the video but wanted to be in the post production image.

A Surprise from Belgium

As many community members know, last weekend we had a meeting in Belgium where NDAs were signed. This was a momentous occasion for everyone involved, so we’ve been preparing to reveal something very special which occurred on the final day.

As we prepare to share this with you, we have been encouraging the XTRABYTES community to move over to Waves in preparation of what we have coming. 

So, what is coming?

A video interview...

While in Belgium, after signing NDAs and digging into our tech for four days, we found time to record a short video. The video features discussions between Borzalom, Danny, and CCR in a sort of raw interview format. We discuss meeting each other for the first time as well as the initial reactions to the technology and its capabilities. This is an uncut, one-take production that shows everyone’s natural expressions. We feel that it will go a long way in helping create more enthusiasm for the project..

This video will be posted on our Youtube channel and blog, then linked to via an announcement on Discord and the Btalk forum. Next, after a short period of time, we will push it out to social media. This small window will give community members the chance to move their buy/sell orders from COINEX (Coinexchange.io) to Waves (which we strongly urge them to do)

Why would we do this?

As you all know, COINEX is not supported by XTRABYTES due to the fact that it’s impossible for anyone to be held accountable if something goes wrong. As such, we will not be directing people onto an exchange that runs the risk of catastrophe.

Moving all trading volume over to Waves benefits everyone:

1. It provides a safe and secure trading platform that does not require traders to send their coins to a centralized platform (where they are at risk of loss from hacking, theft or exit scams).

2. After becoming self-sufficient on the Waves platform, other exchanges will be less likely to request enormous amounts of BTC as a listing fee. So, this is a win/win for us in the long run.
 
3. If we display consistent volume on Waves, CMC will start posting this volume on their site (although only in the markets section for now). This is very important, especially for new investors unacquainted with us.

As such, once it becomes widely known that we have achieved patent-pending for POSIGN (when that time comes), we expect many more exchanges will want to list us. If we’re self-sufficient on Waves, we’ll have far more bargaining power for the process. 

As we believe moving all activity over to Waves is an urgent matter, we ask that everyone join us in this effort. Remember, having liquidity, activity, and volume on Waves benefits everyone.

We are not at patent pending yet, so those of you who are prone to rant and rave are simply asked to: go for a walk… pet the dog or go for a swim (it’s summer).

We all know its a massive pain in the butt to do this patent stuff, it is what it is…

As I told you long ago; the patent documents will be ready when they are ready (this was after I saw what we had gotten ourselves into). This remark was by no means meant to be "unprofessional", it was simply the best way to state the truth.

Now that we have that out of the way, here is the current status:

Borzalom and I will be meeting with Danny and Golden in the very near future. We will spend a few days together to coordinate NDA signings and contracts. Then we will dive into the original POSIGN discovery documents, followed by a review of the latest draft descriptions provided by the law firm. Once this process is complete, Borzalom will reveal the remaining discrepancies he has found. We will then correct these issues as a team before tackling the remaining questions provided by the law firm.

With that completed, we will return the (hopefully) final response to the lawyers (as far as descriptions are concerned).

The end result of this will be a hard core, crash course of POSIGN for Danny and Golden. Obviously, this knowledge will make these 2 brilliant gents a powerful force for explanations and other technical requirements.

Finally, we will spend what remaining time we have verifying the technical descriptions for the next patent. This will help us avoid similar delays in the future.
