This is just another exaggerated smoke show by the people trying to stop our project. But lets take a look at this:

1. In the beginning, I recall that we had about 26 people who were volunteering their time, trying to help the project get started. We started XTRABYTES officially on April 7th, 2017 and after a couple months, we were in around that amount of people. It is not fair to say these people "quit" in the context being suggested. Most of them moved on to other projects that had ICO funding (which we never had) so that they could earn money, rather than invest their spare time on a project that could not put food on the table for them. However, we did end up with some very good people out of that group of 26, who are still with us today and doing fantastic work.

2. If we are referring to the old board, that group fell apart because they were trying to push the project into the hands of venture capitalists and that was not the vision we had for XTRABYTES as a community corporation. So, they got refused and we pushed forward with our XFUEL option (which is also why there are so many attacks against XFUEL from; you guessed it, some of the same people). The bottom line was that we wanted the contributors and the community to have a chance to own the project. Even so, not everyone from the board walked away and are still with us today.

3. After we released our financing solution, called XFUEL, the progress of the company began to take shape and expansion began. From the people who have worked with us since October of 2017 (XFUEL release) there have been some who simply did not align with our visions in one way or another. This is not unlike any other company in the world. Cycling through people to find the right ones that can be trusted, who do the jobs properly and who also believe in and agree with the vision of the company is a critically important aspect of building a large business in any field.


What you are seeing in these various posts from the detractors and FUD brigade has nothing to do with emotions. We have had people attacking this project right from the time we created the very first ANN and these attacks will continue. It never stopped us before and it certainly will not stop us now. So, it's up to those of you interested in this project to do your own due diligence. We are happy to answer any legitimate questions.

Well, its actually been about 14 months since we closed the last one, after we decided not to bother wasting our time with people spamming the thread at a time when there was nothing much to say since we were not in a promotional cycle. On top of this, we wanted to create a thread that was not moderated by me alone. So, now we have our entire moderation team available so that we can delete the ridiculous spam posts that attackers will post on here to disrupt the worthwhile information we are posting as a project. Such as the latest news and information as we cycle back into promotional times with many releases coming as we continue to move forward.

Facts:

The Bitmox project was a failure that I fell into. I was losing my BTC and my desire to help resurrect the project lead me to Borzalom in February of 2017, who had also fell into the project and was subsequently looking for someone to help him get all the investor funds back by restarting the abandoned project. Together, along with the small team we built until that point, we took the project from 1 to over 5000 satoshis in less than 8 months. Countless people made very serious profits thanks to the efforts of everyone involved.  

I didn't sell out and I can assure you that any "con man" would have. I could have been very VERY wealthy and avoided all the personal attacks. So, why didn’t I sell?? Two reasons: 1. Because I am dedicated to the long term success and protection of the project Borzalom is bringing to crypto and I value my partnership/friendship with him. 2. The information I have from Borzalom regarding XTRABYTES tells me that were were not even close to what XTRABYTES will become.

As for MLM:

MLM is not illegal and you are attacking millions of stay at home Moms, Dads and Grandparents (also, retirees trying to shore up their reduced incomes) by attacking me. I will back them up any day if they are legit MLM and not running with the pyramid crews. Anyone who actually knows about MLM can tell you that long before crypto, MLM was coined as "the great equalizer" because anyone who dedicated themselves to a good company and was not afraid to step out of their comfort zone and actually talk about their exceptional products, could earn very VERY serious money from the comfort of their home.

As far as I am concerned MLM and crypto are not so far removed from each other. They are both fringe activities in the grand scheme of things and I think people would be better served to embrace "freedom of where to earn money" in this extremely challenging world, rather than attacking one or the other (because it goes both ways due to lack of understanding on both sides). This is also why I did not want to be identified. I was well aware that the crypto community does not appreciate MLM and it would have made an already daunting task much more challenging and perhaps impossible in our most vulnerable time. But today, my MLM career will not stop this project. We are almost there... If anything, my MLM experience and the skills I have learned are going to once again make the difference. Promo time is upon us again, ladies and gentlemen!

The mission statement I wrote when I was in my 5th year of MLM was in regard to "helping people achieve financial freedom and time freedom from the comfort of their homes". I did this successfully with many people and crypto was the next evolution of that process for me, once I saw the doorway. I live for this... the feeling I have inside when someone thanks me for helping them is one of the main things that drives me and I know this is going to continue to come with what we are doing here at XTRABYTES. Appreciation has already been shared many times and I thank everyone who has taken the time to reach out to me in this regard.

I am very proud of my past career in MLM. Multi Level Marketing is not illegal where I come from. But I certainly had no idea that I would end up in this position after my first 4 years of crypto and I can assure you that I am far beyond excited for our next 4 years.

Since January of 2018 we have basically been in a cocoon. We had no idea what challenges were ahead of us and just like how the project started, we have had to adjust to the conditions thrown at us as each day, week and month passed. We are working on: patenting our technology (patent pending for the first 3 applications for POSIGN are not far off), protecting our trademarks, building our team (while also finding the right people) and developing the front end interfaces. These front end projects are starting to be shown now.

When patent pending comes and we start to reveal our tech, it is going to be a time of massive satisfaction. In the mean time, we will be doing our best to ensure that people are properly informed with regard to what XTRABYTES is really all about. Life is about choices and we choose to continue working towards all our goals.

There is a big misunderstanding here:

XTRABYTES will not be asking general users or traders for KYC verification.

The KYC requirement we speak of with regard to the "network" is relating specifically to our STATIC network and the STATIC owners.

Why?

Because our long term goals and targets consist of alignments with institutions and businesses where privacy is a critical component. We can give our pitches over and over again with the greatest sales people in the world, and they will sound great:

• Faster
• Unlimited storage
• Better security
• Expandable
• Etc.

But when the company requiring privacy and security equal to or better than their own servers asks: who owns these "STATIC nodes" that our information will be sharded and transmitted through? What is our answer without KYC? The answer would be, we are not sure and quite frankly, that is not acceptable if we want to work with this sector of the market.

I hope this helps clarify our KYC requirements for our network of STATICs.

Just a quick statement:

The last couple of months have been amazing for XTRABYTES, the growth we have experienced, the community we have built up around us and the progress we have made on our development front are amazing.

Unfortunately, at this time in the evolution of XTRABYTES there are also some downsides and there are people who are somehow not happy with us entering the market, therefore it is very important for us to distance ourselves from the statements being made which contain fake news and misinformation.

We regret that people feel the need to try to bring us down with photoshopped screenshots and fake statements. Sadly, this is part of what gives crypto a bad name out in the world and these people think they are hurting XTRABYTES, but in fact, they are hurting all of crypto.

In an effort to help the XTRABYTES community stay up to date with our patent process, we have decided to share our current progress with you all! 

For those of you who feel we are not moving fast enough, we are happy to inform you that quality and protection are the top priorities, not speed. XTRABYTES is a long term project and we always have and always will ensure that we do what is best for the long term vision we have.

During the last several days, I have met our patent lawyers on 2 separate occasions. The first meeting was January 17th and was intended to evaluate the law firm, which also offered them the opportunity to evaluate us. The second meeting was on the 23rd, when the initial tech discussions took place and the retainer was paid.

The law firm (which we will not disclose) conducted initial research on the XTRABYTES project after our first meeting and during the second meeting revealed they are very happy to work with us on this patenting process.

We did not get into full disclosure during the second meeting but upon providing basic details, the law firm was extremely impressed and excited to be working with us. Future meetings will include both Borzalom and CCRevolution and will include finalizing all the information the law firm needs in order to complete the patenting process, which will lead us to the highly discussed "patent pending" status.

Please do not assume times and dates, nor is it practical to try to dictate how long this should be taking us. We always work within our available time frames and this also includes availability of the lawyers we are working with.

We are happy to report that Cryptopia has updated our wallet and the deposits/withdrawals are also open again. This was not an easy undertaking but it was necessary to ensure that all balances were correct before we could proceed. Testnet Extended

Enough about the registration, let’s get to the tech! As I am sure many of you can appreciate, the curve balls that have been thrown at us recently regarding exchanges and wallets has made it extremely difficult to put the majority of our focus on the testnet. Rest assured we are closing these unplanned programming tasks and will resume pushing the testnet to the limit. Many of you have been actively sending and receiving test XBY on the testnet, which has resulted in some fantastic community bug reports. We are investigating these tickets and implementing new solutions almost every day. Once we are ready with a more stable testing platform we will make an announcement with further instructions on how to coordinate a network strike across all of our testnet participants.

XTRABYTES is a blockchain / modules platform and associated cryptocurrency that introduces several key innovations that provide significant security and scalability advantages over current crypto technologies on the market.

The goal of XTRABYTES is to provide a platform on which a multitude of customized services can be deployed and utilized. Several blockchain solutions provide a similar offering, but XTRABYTES is unique in that it is backed by and built upon a secure, powerful, and reliable network.















The XTRABYTES network will provide a highly customizable platform which enables developers to create and deploy a variety of tailored applications. Flexibility and ease-of-use are central to the design of the network, shortening the development process and allowing users to launch their projects quickly and efficiently. The goal is for XTRABYTES to serve as the host for an entire ecosystem of applications and services, all backed by the security and scalability advantages inherent in XTRABYTES' core technology.

On the XTRABYTES platform, these custom applications have been labeled modules, reflecting the fact that they are both independent and self-contained from other modules; each comprising an entirely separate application. Modules are segregated and can be created, updated, and deleted without impacting each other or disrupting the network in any way.  They will offer plug-and-play functionality where modules can easily be connected to the XTRABYTES network and immediately draw upon its core features.

The XTRABYTES development team plans to release several modules as a proof-of-concept and to provide several core services.  The first of these will be comprised of a decentralized secure data storage, with several other services currently under consideration.







XTRABYTES is powered by the Proof-of-Signature (PoSign) consensus algorithm, a unique and revolutionary approach to achieving distributed consensus which was created by Founder and Lead Developer, Zoltán Szabó (aka. Borzalom).

In all other existing blockchain technologies, transactions are verified and blocks created by only one randomly selected node in the network. Common consensus algorithms such as Proof-of-Work, Proof-of-Stake, and Proof-of-Importance attempt to ensure that the node selected is not malicious or faulty, but they cannot guarantee that this is the case.

PoSign comprises a radically different approach. Transactions are verified by a network of what are called STATIC nodes—importantly, each of these nodes must sign off on a transaction before the associated block can be appended to the chain. Should a malicious node repeatedly attempt to compromise the chain, it will be blacklisted automatically.

STATIC nodes are the backbone of the XTRABYTES network. The word STATIC is derived from the words; Services Transactions and Trusted in Control, which is all of what defines our STATIC nodes in the simplest way.

SERVICES - All modules attached to the XTRABYTES network must be served by at least 1 STATIC node.
TRANSACTIONS - All transactions are processed by the STATIC nodes.
TRUSTED - Each STATIC node is registered by a deposit of XBY and is known by the XTRABYTES network.
CONTROL - The STATIC network controls the entire XTRABYTES MODULAR BLOCKCHAIN ECOSYSTEM.

The security improvements are profound—to compromise XTRABYTES, the entirety of the STATIC node network must be compromised and a single malicious actor cannot undermine the integrity of the blockchain. Additional benefits include substantially decreased energy consumption as the consensus algorithm does not require nodes to solve computationally difficult problems to earn transaction fees or create new tokens.

A corollary of requiring each node to sign transactions is that these nodes be able to communicate with one another rapidly and seamlessly. To address these requirements, XTRABYTES has developed and introduces The VITALS (Virtual Information Transmissions ALigning STATIC's) Network.

VITALS comprises a private network directly interconnecting the online STATIC nodes;  effectively providing VPN-like functionality to the network. VITALS therefore supports the communication needs of the XTRABYTES blockchain by providing interference-free direct paths between nodes to ensure security and speed when processing transactions.

The PULSE system relays messages between nodes and functions like an instant messaging service. Crucially, synchronicity is always maintained—offline nodes are automatically forwarded missed messages which they then sign when they come online again. These transmissions are always encrypted and timestamped, and cannot be altered.



A simple explanation of how this will function:

XTRABYTES is built on a new and novel algorithm requiring none of the traditional mining supports typically seen in blockchains which rely on POW or POS.  This new algorithm is called Proof of Signature (POSign).
 
PoSign will ensure a signature rate of 100% for each block system wide, which is made possible through its network of STATIC nodes and a network of virtual nodes (The VITALS Network).  The VITALS network is comprised of a fixed number of virtual nodes that corresponds to and is controlled by one or more real STATIC nodes.
 
Block creation is controlled entirely through the communication (using PULSE) between the VITALS and the system of real STATIC nodes.

When a transaction is created, it is verified by all of the STATIC nodes in the network. Once the transaction has been completely validated, the VITALS network enters the process to create the new blocks and achieve 100% signature validation of the newly created block.

Using this method of block generation, we will be able to avoid transaction and block conflicts, while allowing every peer knowledge of who will create the new block and who will distribute the block first.

What happens to a VITALS node and its block generating ability if a STATIC node is down or is being attacked via DDOS?

Assume the S1 STATIC node controls the V1 virtual node.  If a disruptive agent attacks and disables the S1 STATIC node then one or more of the other STATIC nodes will take control of the V1 VITALS node until the S1 STATIC node has been brought back online.

All VITALS nodes are controlled by one or more STATIC nodes.  If the number of STATICs is less than VITALS nodes then random STATICs will control additional VITALS nodes.







Modules can be considered an extension to the XBY core and its functionality.  They provide the use case for XTRABYTES, for everything from decentralized storage to instant messaging and all conceivable applications in between.  The XTRABYTES core and DICOM API will provide programmers with an easy to grasp platform for development.   A module can be coded using many different popular programming languages ranging from Visual Basic, Java, to C++.  This makes XTRABYTES extremely flexible and opens up the creation of modules to third party developers; or anyone who knows a basic programming language.

Modules are one of the simplest parts of the XTRABYTES structure and provide an excellent entry point for people to discover and learn about the XTRABYTES infrastructure.
 
Once the validation process is complete, the modules will be loaded onto the XTRABYTES platform where they will be available in the Graphical User Interface (GUI) of the XTRABYTES wallet.  Users can then choose which modules to run by enabling or disabling them.

A module is no different from a regular application in that it can be independently created and tested.  Once the module is ready, it can be easily connected to the XBY Module Core by using the Distributed Command Message Language Core or DICOM Application Programming Interface (API).

The DICOM interface connects the external modules to the Module Core. The Module Core will verify and validate the modules.  The Module Core is, in turn, connected to the XBY core.  
 
The X-Bridge Interface has an important and vital function, as it establishes the connection between the old and the new chain.  This is just one example of the functions that can be used by the modules.

Due to the adaptable nature of module content many categories can be created and tailored to the module's individual purpose.  Examples of categories include:  Administration, Business, Commerce, Educational, E-Commerce, Finances, Games, Security, and many others.

How are modules obtained/integrated into the XBY platform?

The aim is to make module integration as simple and fluent as possible. Think of familiar user platforms such as Apple’s App Store or Google Play.

How are modules programmed?

Through use of the DICOM API developers are not limited to a single programming language; as is often the case with other blockchain technologies. Instead, we will provide an environment where they are free to program, using their preferred language and using DICOM API to deploy the module to the XTRABYTES eco-system.

This results in very little restriction on developers and creates an environment limited only by the developer’s imagination. Decentralized exchanges, instant messaging, web hosting, you name it, can all be done on the XTRABYTES blockchain.

The XTRABYTES coin is essentially a utility. The coin is inextricably linked to the success of the network and its services, as it will be utilized within transactions to purchase services and compensate providers. As the applications on the platform are utilized by community members and the general public, an increase in demand will further increase the value of XBY.

XTRABYTES is a community coin; the developers and board members are investors right alongside the general public. We rely upon a vibrant community as our source for ideas, inspiration, and contributions, and we welcome new members with open arms. Transparency and inclusion are among our core values. We aren’t interested in hype, and are not looking to make a quick profit—we are in it for the long haul and seek to create lasting value. We are looking for fellow coin enthusiast like ourselves.






Total supply of 650 million XBY is reduced by each STATIC node on the network. At the time of writing, there are currently 465 Valid STATIC nodes with 500,000 XBY locked in each. This reduces the current supply to about 417 million XBY. In the future, additional STATIC nodes will be added to the network, reducing the available supply to a considerably smaller amount.

As indicated on the Dec 7th edition, we would be doing a format change on the Borzalom 777 event. We did not go 100% in that direction yet but we are working towards this and perhaps how we have done this edition will be similar to how we will do them in the future. For the January 7th edition, we have 3 questions answered by the writer's team, 2 by CCRevolution and 2 by Borzalom himself. In the end, we believe the same result will be achieved because the point of all this is to answer some of the questions that the XTRABYTES community has. We still have Borzalom review these answers of course and he is actually doing his review while I write this opening statement.

January 777 Edition

Q1: How many developers are there on the team?
A1: Although the development team prefers to remain anonymous, what we can tell you is that, besides Borzalom, there are three other developers working directly with him on the blockchain core technology. Additionally, there is a small team working on XCITE (the front end application), and another team focusing on UI & UX to ensure functionality across desktop and mobile. There are also groups working on the first modules that will run the XBY platform - from the X-VAULT data storage feature, to the X-CHANGE (distributed exchange) module to the X-CHAT system, and others that they haven't yet announced. This is more than just a new coin - this is a mission to bring this platform to life.

In addition to the actual programming side of our development, we also have many people working on other jobs, such as writing, marketing, social media, graphics, translations, and management. In total, we paid out to over 90 people in our most recent XFUEL development payout. So, XTRABYTES is growing and we will soon post more positions!



Q2: Who is your target clients? banks? logistics? property? Health?
A2: We're developing a platform that allows for program language agnostic development, and aren’t focused on any particular industry. We’re developing a platform that will be flexible enough for anyone to utilize. There really aren't any limits on what can be done with XBY. Some examples of real-world usage could be, Banks: XBY has ambitions of creating the DEX - decentralized exchange - which will help it become a primary trading pair with other crypto (and potentially fiat) currencies.

As this transition takes place, and XBY becomes a measure of value of other assets, it will be beneficial for banks to begin interacting with the blockchain to ease transactions to/from fiat currency.

Logistics: Any blockchain is good for managing inventory or tracking items in a supply chain. The cheap transactions fees and fast transaction times make XBY a good choice for using it as a type of SaaS platform for a logistical tracking solution.

Property: With smart contracts, XBY can function as the money for the transaction, and the smart contracts can operate as an escrow service. While we're still a few years away from legal regulations catching up with the technology, we'll have a platform in place where these types of transactions will be possible when that time comes. Also, Digital deeds - or assigning physical assets to digital records of ownership - is another way that blockchain technology will do away with existing forms of record tracking. This could be done through the creation of a Property token on the XBY blockchain - and these could also be used for timeshares or rental properties.

Healthcare: Digital record keeping is becoming a bigger and bigger industry. Currently, these records are held at a central agency, and as more personal information is being stored in one central place, the more likely that single location will come under attack. By moving health records to the blockchain, they will be distributed and more secure. There won't be a weak point to attack to recover the information - it will remain encrypted, even if the data itself is seized through malicious activity.

But this list is potentially limitless. XTRABYTES is being set up to be like a supercomputer, running on the blockchain. In general, anything that people can do now on a computer could eventually be done on the XTRABYTES platform and this certainly includes gaming. We feel gaming is going to be one of our biggest areas of growth once we get rolling and we get the right people on board.



Q3: Are there any plans to restructure the prices for statics given the XBY price increase?
A3: We have always had a plan in place that will be acted upon when the community decides the price of STATICS is too high.

At this time we would not act on this because, after several months of preparation, we believe there are many people who already have a sufficient supply of XBY waiting to set up their STATIC deposits. For now, we know that the general perception in the community is that in time the Level 1 nodes will be corporate level systems, where a large corporation may decide to buy the STATIC from its initial owner. Because even at today’s prices, we are looking at well over $300,000 for a Level 1 STATIC, and in the future, we believe this will be much higher. So, this is out of reach for most people to begin with. With that said, L2 and L3 STATICS will also get too expensive at some point, and the community will decide it is time for a “halving”.

When halving occurs, the number of coins will not change, but the amount of STATICS will double. Therefore, we would have 1024 STATICS on Level 1 and they would contain 250,000 XBY in each deposit wallet. The same would occur for the other 2 levels.

By doing this, the deposit cost of each STATIC was cut by half and the owners could then choose to either sell one or both STATICS, break one or both STATICS, keep both STATICS on the same server or for optimal results, keep both STATICS but set up a new server for the new STATIC.

Halving can occur any time it is necessary as the market expands and coupling is also possible in the future if the market starts to retract and we do not need as many STATICS to run efficiently.



Q4: How will updating the nodes be done? So if a node has v1.0 and another node has v1.1. Will the node with v1.0 be removed from network till it has also updated?
A4: Not sure. A lot of different protocols are running in the background. Each protocol has a protocol version. The newer version will be accepted and will recognize the lower-versioned messages. If the lower version receives a message, it will then recognize if it came from a higher versioned client. This is similar to how operating systems work with its applications. Some applications will run on both the old and new operating system but others will not. So, the older nodes may not be available to run the newest modules. The upgrade will be optional or mandatory. We will do something similar to this. The nodes will be STaTiC (service providers) and XCITE (service clients). Each XCITE and each STaTiC uses different core system, core modules and external modules.

If we take Windows for an example, if Windows is the XCITE and the Windows applications are the modules of XCITE, then the STaTiC is Windows/Linux servers. So, the final answer not easy because we may have quite a few different versions. Maybe the network will use deprecated modules parallel to the new modules and some external modules provide the gateway between the old and new modules.



Q5: When are you thinking of getting listed on bigger exchanges such as Binance or Bittrex?
A5: Just this week we saw a perfect example of why we are not going on large exchanges at this time. We are still running on the clone chain and this chain is a mess. There are many flaws and we have patched over many things in order to make it work the way we want for the time being.

However, what is going to happen if there is an even bigger emergency due to some sort of technical failure on that chain or any other tech failure during this development period and we are on the big exchanges with a multi-billion dollar market cap? This is why we are not willing to go on any big exchanges right now. We must be patient and realize anyone who has been lucky enough to discover XBY at this early stage is in a position to achieve great success as we roll out our full tech as time goes by.

Let’s look at this another way:

Zoltchain is up and running, X-CHANGE, X-VAULT, and X-CHAT are all working flawlessly and they have been tested in live market conditions by the XTRABYTES Community. Obviously, the price is going to continue rising… but then, when “it’s all systems go” we get listed on a few big exchanges all at the same general time period. What happens then to the current XTRABYTES Community?

Q6: It's 2019. I need a platform for my ICO. Why am I choosing XBY?
A6: Every ICO has its own needs and purpose, so it's not easy to answer generically.

Currently, most ICOs/Tokens are created on the Ethereum blockchain. The full XBY platform will provide advanced features that ethereum simply doesn't. Ethereum requires programming in Solidity. For XBY, you can use any programming language. Our transaction speeds are far beyond the capabilities of Ethereum (20tps on Ethereum). Our per transaction fees will be lower (aiming for 0 fees on microtransactions) Environmentally, we're more sustainable and eco-friendly (we don't use POW and have far less power usage overhead). Ultimately, we're hoping our platform's strength and flexibility will speak for itself.



Q7: Is there going to be another testnet featuring Zoltchain or is the third test the last one before releasing mainnet?
A7: The first "mainnet" will not contain all of the planned functions. Remember to this is not a copycat code and "coin". This is one complete system, a long-term project. This is the reason why there are no deadlines. This is not a matter of one having a development phase and then we release the final version because this will not be a final version. The development will continue forever and every new version will be better and better, just like how other software providers have done it over the years.

The first operating "mainnet" will be the STaTiC registration system. The testnet is also a permanent part of the system which will be a long continuous test.

So, there is not going to be a direct switch between the tests and the mainnet. This system growing slowly and change over will not be like a flash from dark ( testnet) to light (mainnet). A better comparison would be how the sun rises each day.

Most developers work many years or team hours in the background before they release the first beta. We are coding in the shop window, so everyone really gets to enjoy the magic of fresh code. If you wonder where it is, you just need to open your eyes.
