Current Rich List, down to 300,000 XBY.
As you can see, we have many wallets prepared at the 1 million mark and also the 500k mark for set up into STaTiC.
Of course, the 1 million wallets will need to be divided now that we are doing the STaTiC nodes with 500.000 XBY.

ok. thanks for trying to answer. I'll pass for now, Best of luck to XtraBytes.
We will have a system available soon where this can be seen by everyone. Your patience and understanding is appreciated as we work hard to juggle all the balls while trying to do all this work in motion... Our roadmap clearly shows that we are in phase 2 right now and after 50.000 block we will be implementing the full PoSign. Sorry for our friend getting tough on you, we deal with many trolls and FUD in here as you probably know. Thanks for stopping by again!

It seems as though our popularity has inspired someone to turn their mining rig at XBY... So, we have another fan!!
However, this is going to speed up the deadline of the 50.000 block. This means the deadline for setting up STaTiC nodes will come sooner!!
Anyone mining, please be sure to use the latest client.
Thanks you!!

If this system is only dependant of masternodes and there is no POS nor POW, wouldn't that make the system highly centralized?
It is actually more of a hybrid... we are coming up with a descriptive name rather than: centralized or decentralized. Stick around as the protocol is developed, released and implemented. You will see the next generation of crypto unfold before your eyes.

I'm glad to be on board with XtraBytes!! Does anyone know the Facebook address? I saw a "Xtrabyte" site but it wasn't ours, and no "XtraBytes" site was there that I could find? Just FYI --- I asked my guy at Bittrex to consider putting XBY on the exchange, and here is his response: Thanks for the request. Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we only add coins under active development with high community demand. Please encourage the development team to contact support@bittrex.com. We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. Thank you, Ryan @ Bittrex Thank you for your eagerness! We all want to be on Bittrex, but we are not ready yet. Right now we are trying to get development to a stable level to be able to properly step into the BIGTIME on sites like Bittrex and Polo. Currently we are on phase 2 of our roadmap... When we are in phase 3 we will be contacting Bittrex. As it stands now, we are working very hard at getting the initial STaTiC nodes set up on our members computers. The STaTiC registration will last until block 50.000 which is about 18 days from now. Thank you!

This is interesting, although I dont understand the technology behind it. I wish you luck, this coin has had a rocky past, I have also picked up a few thousand and I am here for the ride.
Welcome. Yeah I don't think any other coin I know of has started in this way. It could end up being a strength though cause it's made instant community and the fact there is no premine puts us all on the same level...plus it's an interesting human story if we get some press at some point. I do agree with you, its been a rough ride, the price is now quite low, and as confidence builds the price will grow. Initial dumpers will be scorned miners/buyers, and as the previous user says, Yobit is 'Yoshit' when it comes to that troll box. Bitrex would be the goal I think. Now I need to go away and read about this proof of signature I know sod all about.... Welcome to the XtraBYtes Community Corporation!

Borzalom : Nodes will start when we hit 50000 block or faster when amount of nodes will be enough for u ?
Nodes will not start until after the 50.000 block. He will do a HARD BURN on the blockchain at that point and after that the next STEP (see roadmap) will start being set up... Patience please... this is technology in motion. It would be wonderful just to snap our fingers and magically have PoSign working, but its not like that. This is being set up properly, for the long haul and also for future projects wishing to use Borzaloms newly invented protocols. Thank you for being a valued part of the XtraBYtes Community Corporation!

The Proof of Signature Blockchain is new idea/technology .. Why bittrex don't list this coin?
We will register for listing when we have the working system operational. Now we are on phase 2 of our roadmap... Network setup is a huge milestone and then we can turn on the PoSign... We don't think Bittrex will accept us until that time, but we are certainly open to discussions.
If you are setting up your STaTiC on your own, please ensure that you also setup an earnings wallet. I just tried to help someone and for some reason he was given an error that having a blank deposit wallet is not allowed. Borzalom is sleeping and I need to verify this with him. So, in the mean time, if you are doing a setup, make the extra "earnings" wallet for registration. Thanks!! Instructions on video will be coming ASAP.

This works on the STaTiC network which is being set up between blocks 25.000 and 50.000. Now we are in the new phase of registering all the STaTiC nodes. Currently we are allowing 1 per computer and once we see there are no issues with that, we will switch to running parallel setups for anyone wishing to have more than 1 running on their computers. Once the entire network is registered, the next step after that is to remove the POW entirely and turn on the PoSign system. In the mean time, Borzalom will also be setting up the Virtual Chord Network which is what enables proper and communication throughout the network during each block time. Please remember, this is experimental and as he find things that are not working as planned or he finds bugs, they get corrected and/or removed. This has been happening for over 2 months now since he and I started working together. This man is a genius and I have not seen him get stumped yet and I doubt he will... this is his world. This is the roadmap as found on the ANN: 1.) Build strong node network 2.) Identify and Align STaTiC Nodes ( master nodes ) 3.) Start STaTiC Node PoSign mining 4.) Build data storage ring 5.) Move blockchain to data storage ring We are in phase 2 now... Thank you for your question!

If each node is 500K XBY, its threshold is too low, the node gains less, do the node will not be interested!
Agree with you , the total supply are 6.5 hundred million , 50K is too low There are 650 million XBY - The STaTiC nodes are 500.000 each there will be between 200 and 600 total. This is new technology, so lets allow Borzalom to show you what else he is building... Its up to you if you want to have a STaTiC node (or several). Thanks! Yes, I began to prepare the two nodes, 2 million, ready to sell the only left of the 1 million 500 thousand, only 500 thousand!!! Can test under! OK, very good. If you require assistance I will help you. Please see the post I just made above... these are the current setup instructions. But you MUST use the download from the Vote announcement link. I will update the windows wallet on the ANN now also (the other wallets are not ready yet).

Thanks!

I don't want you to vote in the future. I think team members should decide future policies.
The mob has many heads but no brains.
Thank you Kamiyama, we appreciate you and your opinion. This result has resulted in the best possible decision and outcome for the long term and you are correct... but we wanted people to realize that they have a voice and vote here. This is a Community Corporation in the making. However, there will be a hierarchy in the future and this is that ONLY STaTiC Members can vote: 1 STaTiC = 1 VOTE

Hello XtraBYters!! What a fantastic debate we have all participated in over the last 48 hours. Thank you all for your participation and for taking ownership on all levels of your XtraBYtes Community Corporation. What we have ended up with here is the following:We also considered all opinions and votes written on the forum because we learned that "newbie" level members were unable to vote ( which is why Mica3006 set up the other poll) So, this was taken more as opinions (rather than votes) because we also needed to avoid double voting. At the end of the day... we have decided that the vote really was as close to being down the middle as can be, especially considering many people also wanted Borzaloms opinion and his opinion was 500.000 also. Therefore, with all this considered and with hopes to keep as many people happy as possible, while also allowing the XtraBYtes Community Corporation to choose, we will move ahead with 500.000 being the amount of XBY required to run a STaTiC node. We hope that anyone setting these up takes this investment and contribution very seriously, understanding that this is experimental software we are developing and that patience is the key. In time, more developers will join us and this will help speed up the process. At this point, STaTiC registration HAS officially and successfully begun... ( I already did mine) It is very simple if you follow the instructions on page 20 of the forum (just be sure to have 500.100 XBY on deposit, so that means SEND exactly 500.100 XBY to your deposit wallet) and your registration process is very simple after that. If you are unsure, we are working on preparing video instructions to help. There is no big rush here... This is just the registration part and later the STaTiC nodes will start to do their job. Patience is the key here... More information relating to the registration process and verification's will come soon... Anyone who is comfortable getting started, you can access the latest wallet with STaTiC Registration capabilities here: https://uploadfiles.io/exjlgWhen you finish, please post your TX id, and Borzalom will check to if you were successful or not. This process will be manual until the auto-checker website is finished. Also, for those fo you who have less than 500k, please note that there will be future surprises and opportunities in the XtraBYtes community... so HODL your XBY if you can. Finally, please keep in mind that XBY transaction fees are still at 100 XBY. This will change in the future but for now will remain in place and soon we will decide what to do with these Community Funds. This has been a very successful weekend and we thank you all for your support and participation!!Dave and Zoltan and the rest of the XBY DEV TEAM!! PS. We would also like to ask that you move your "STaTiC coins" OUT of the exchanges so that we can see approximately how many will be available for set up over the coming days.

XBY is very busy this weekend, please wait for answers to your questions till later. You are asking too many question at one time, it would take the developer away from his work. He did answer your last 'batch' of questions.
Sure, I'm not in any rush. These questions might be important for the developer to at least read though even if he doesn't have time to actually compose a response. What is your interest? Intellectual curiosity? You want to develop similar ideas into your coin (imitation is the best form of flatter etc) Or maybe are you interested in joining the project? Debunking what you think won't work? Vorsholk is very good person. no need start fight here. Thanks cyberhacker It's mainly intellectual curiosity, I specialize in consensus-related technologies and I also don't want to see someone spend a bunch of time building a solution that they eventually find won't work—been there, done that. The hope is that the developer with either have some sort of solution to these problems, or that asking these questions will help him/her realize that some ideas might not work and adjust accordingly. There has already been significant thought put into consensus algorithms and getting around a lot of potential problems. Communication isn't instant (so transactions propagate unevenly and unreliably), nodes aren't always online, and people will actively try to attack the network. It isn't possible to have all nodes with completely synchronized clocks and identical mempools at every tick of those clocks. The ability for one individual party to be responsible for creating the next block (and a competitive environment where no one produces all or most of them) solves these issues—someone dictates truth in a way that everyone else can agree. A lot of alternative consensus algorithms or ideas for them end up having issues with deadlock (where the network is left in a state of permanent disagreement, and effectively breaks into two pieces which may or may not be able to continue to run independently). If communication was instant (where a transaction arrived instantly at all nodes simultaneously) and guaranteed to be delivered to all participants, we wouldn't even need blockchains: all nodes would know that all other protocol-adherent nodes also received the same data at the same time, so no one needs to establish 'truth' or mediate mutually exclusive events, because they couldn't have both been sent simultaneously and so the order in which they appeared would dictate precedence. A bootstrapping node would of course have some trouble, but connecting to tons of nodes and comparing the entire transaction history given by each would likely solve this to a reasonable degree (and this problem exists with PoS coins anyway, 'weak subjectivity'). Thank you again for your great questions! Borzalom has just explained all this to me and there will be an answer that I believe you will be very happy with. He addressed these issues you mention a year ago and found a solution. Now, I do not have time to translate everything and he does not want to post another reply on the forum like the last one, it is too hard for people to understand. For me, I have been awake far longer than I should be and I need to get some sleep because we will stop the voting tonight and I still have things to complete. I will just give a hint: Virtual Chord Network.

I'm voting 500,000 and I only own 200,000. Half a million seems about right though. I want to buy another 300,000- hell, I want to buy a full million- but I still have one point of concern.
How come we never see CCRevolution? The videos are just shots of the computer screen. Seems like if I were super-excited about being a part of a project I'd want to associate my name and face with it. How come we never see Borzalom? Ethereum is what it is because of Vitalik and his sunken face is everywhere.
I'm not saying that makes this a scam. I wouldn't have put $200 in if I thought that. I am saying that that is representative of a scam. Do you think you could dispel this concern CC, so I can run and buy some more XBY while it's still cheap?
Oh, I absolutely think BTC is a scam. Seriously, $1400? It's nuts. No, I guess what I'm saying is that this space is rife with conmen. We all know that. Hell, CCRevolution himself said this coin started when they got scammed. It's just a fact, if you're buying altcoins without your guard up you are going to get taken. Point is, I've made my peace with the absence of a whitepaper. I'm alright too with there being no explorer. It's early days. I'd just like to have some loose idea who the people are that I'm entrusting with a sizable amount of my savings. I like this project a lot. I do. I like all that I've heard and I like the community. But I'm a custodian. My money was hard to come by and needs protecting.

Great to see lots of debate this weekend for the STaTiC node initial deposit requirement!!
Currently I am preparing the video, as requested, for STaTiC node registration...
Keep up the GREAT WORK!!Below are our previous 2 videos:

Hello Everyone! I want to thank each and every one of you for your participation in this debate... This is what it is all about!! Community = Strength = Power = Success We must decide what is best for XtraBYtes and make the correct decisions now, before we start. I am waiting to hear additional information from Brozalom as to what the minimum amount of STaTiC Nodes is and WHY this is a critical number to meet. Thank you and please continue... Your posts and participation are showing the crypto world that XtraBYtes is the coin and the Community Corporation to take notice of and to become a valuable part of. If you have not yet watched our first 2 videos, please go to the ANN... I added them last night. Have a fantastic day!!

Sharing this post by seedit122 this from the Slack. This is my vote: Ok honestly here is the deal, we need to decide how much for a masternode/static right? If we reach DASH's price point the coin will be around 80 to 85 cents. A million coins will run $800,000, which means only millionaires can run nodes. That's insane. If you want a coin based on community it should be more accessible. It shouldnt be about status it should be about community involvement, and besides people can run multiple nodes anyway so why limit the amount by so much? A stronger network, the better, so more nodes = more strength, plus you can put on the website the fact that we are running hundreds of nodes. The less of something, the better as well - lower node req means higher future price. If Borzalom wants 300 nodes thats even more reason to lower node req. What happens if someone buys and doesnt set up a node? Loses their coins? Too risky. Lower node req down to 10k - 100k range. Pull the poll, say that it was a mistake due to technicalities or something and we have lowered the node req. Well said! +100 to you sir seedit! You can't just start changing the rules for running a staticnode because it would become to expensive for people that want to run one later. It is still cheap to buy 1000000 coins, for the people that want to invest later it will be more expensive when the value rises, that is how things work in the real world. The thing is that early investors will get the most benefits when a project succeed and it must be that way because they are the ones taking most risks from the start. To be able to get enough coins to run a masternode i sold a part of my Wetrust tokens, a token that a lot of people think that will do very well on the long run. If the amount of XBY needed to run a static node would become much lower then i would feel cheated because i could of made more profit trading Wetrust tokens, 500000 coins i have no problem with but lower i would say no. Me and other investors were buying while people were spreading FUD and i can say that before the release of the first video by CCRevolution i was very carefull but after hearing him speak i was convinced that they will do their best to bring this to a good end, so i invested a lot more. You can't please everyone with your choices but i can say that the XBY community will become much stronger even when 1M coins is needed to run a staticnode. Thank you for your opinion Lopchi and you are not alone. We are not trying to cheat anyone but it was a decision that we thought best to leave for the community to decide and the community is on your side at this point. Are you with us in the Slack? If not and if you would like to join us, you can send me a PM and I will invite you. We are having lots of discussion about this subject. There are many pros and cons that we must discuss because nobody thought the price would rise so fast and we would like to see more STaTiC nodes (200 to 300 was the initial goal... with considerations at max 5 satoshis for the price... but the price shot up and now we have a Catch 22 - Not enough nodes and too high of prices with unproven/unseen code to hold people back from investing heavily and we are not going to change the amount after the STaTiCs start up. So, a small delay to debate this and Sunday we will start one way or the other) Also, please remember that this is experimental and there may be changes along the way that need to be done for the betterment and long term stability of XtraBYtes (this has been on the ANN from day 1). This is the number 1 priority for all investors... to make sure the company grows and thrives. We are not here for a fast P&D... We are building a Community Corporation with intentions to be here for a very long time and firing up a BRAND NEW BLOCKCHAIN with a BRAND NEW CONSENSUS mechanism, only to have to fork later would not be very wise. STaTiCs were $12 just 9 days ago and they shot up to about $1500 at one point... and even now they are sitting at $945. So, this must be debated to do the right thing for all aspects... Please join us. Thank you!

how about vary the static node cost based on BTC value instead of amount of coins? e.g. costs 1 or 2 btcs to maintain each node. whether the tech can cater for this is another thing..
They need to be equal... So this must be done with XBY.
