1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Society with no law on: August 21, 2021, 05:08:00 PM
What is life without law, how would the society be like without  law. Would society still exist, take a look at all lawless act committed  by individuals in the society, robberies, killings , corruption and so many bad act. Even with laws all this atrocities are being done  as if there's no law. people are not been scared to commit crime in the society.  They do not care or think of the consequences or result of the crime been committed. People enjoy lawlessness. How would this world be without laws , can it exist.
A lawless society would surely be chaotic and will never have peace and order. Laws are made to maintain peace and harmony regardless of the quantity of people under it. It helps prevent abuse, inequality and taking away a certain person's life without proper diagnosis. Human beings are naturally greedy and well-known for being abusive of the power they get to have that's why laws are very important because it limits them and prevents the from overkilling someone who could be dangerous for many people. Lawlessness will only lead to higher rumors that will show sooner to the very top.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Share your costly lesson about cryptocurrency.. on: August 21, 2021, 04:38:05 PM
As the title says, please share your costly lesson about cryptocurrency. So others users could take a lesson from your story and they would get the advantage of it without losing anything.

When we learn a lesson, most of the time we lose something. And there are a few losing stories where we lost a lot and that's the reason why I consider this kind of lesson ad a costly lesson. I had shared previously my story, I will just remind it shortly.

In 2017 I had almost 1.5BTC and I hadn't sold even Bitcoin was around $19K above. So we know the Bitcoin dump story. Since Bitcoin was dumped too much I wondered to increase portfolio by trading or holding alts. So I just choose a few shitcoin. Some of them were delisted from the exchange, so I moved all-in single shitcoin. Sadly that's shitcoin is totally useless. Perhaps it's worth $1K in the current market. So it was a costly lesson for me. Don't choose a shitcoin for investing purposes. Just invest in Bitcoin and hold it. You will never regret it at all.

What is your costly lesson?
One of my unfortunate decision with crypto occured during the 2018 dump. I was too hopeful that the value of bitcoin will still be revived until years passed by and it hasn't. I was forced to sell at a low value without knowing that a bull run is about to happen as the pandemic covers the whole world. Regrets, mistakes, that's what teaches us to make better decisions specially with regards to crypto. We now learned how essential holding can be and how wealthy you could've been if only you knew how to wait patiently. Nevertheless, regardless of all those regrets, make sure always you learn a lesson from it so that you wouldn't be committing the same mistake anymore.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SCAMMERS NEVER GET TIRED on: August 21, 2021, 04:08:47 PM
Scammers are at it again sending out bulk mails disguised to be from pancakeswap congratulating you on winning some free ethereum or other coin. The link below is attached to it disguise to be wallet connect link which will require your confirmation on your wallet to claim the free coin. https://walletsconts.com/claim_token.htm.

If you receive such mail, make sure you don't follow the link on your wallet or give any permission in order to stay safe from their scam.

Scammers will always find new ways on how they can trick people. Most of us should be aware of it already. They tend to analyze what we currently now and strategize new ways wherein they think they can deceive us through that once again. There are still many people who falls into scams, may it be newbies or those who have been here for a long time already. They usually have few knowledge about crypto and its frauds that's why they still end up losing money. If you wouldn't study or learn how they scam people, you wouldn't be able to evade them so it's best that you are always up to date with their schemes so that you can avoid and prevent yourself from losing money.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins on: August 21, 2021, 02:59:57 PM
i am new in crypto world and i don't have much information about altcoins and gem hidden coins can any one tell me the difference between altcoins and gem coins and how can i find the real coin for investment?
When it comes to finding gem coins, you need to make sure that you are well knowledgeable about the current market situation. In order for you to find out the best coins at the moment, you need to first analyze how the market is going. Obviously, bitcoin is at the top and it is one of the most desirable coin to invest with but there are still other coins you can invest to. You can diversify your investment on it, on altcoins that has the potential of becoming successful. Make sure you spare some time to speculate other coins other than bitcoin because bitcoin is not always rising but some altcoin usually does.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: "Crypto is no longer in the early adoption stage" on: August 21, 2021, 01:50:38 PM
The cryptocurrency industry started with the launch of Bitcoin in 2009 and then flourished in the following years with various assets and blockchain-based solutions. According to Stephen Stonberg, CEO of Bittrex Global, this is no longer in its infancy.
“I think we’re already past the stage of crypto early adoption,” Stonberg told Cointelegraph adding:
“Crypto has now gone mainstream. We have double-digit percentage adoption in both developed and developing countries. We even have Bitcoin adopted as legal tender in a country and many other countries are considering adopting Bitcoin as legal tender.”
Bitcoin has also become a very common investment, as a number of large companies such as Microstrategy have invested in these assets.

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-is-no-longer-in-the-early-adoption-stage-bittrex-global-ceo-says
Bitcoin has been gone on the early adoption stage for so long already. Ever since its value peaked last 2018, it is very clear already that it has already gone mainstream. Bitcoin's gone a long way already and its achievements has brought it to new heights. Those who managed to believe in bitcoin and stay faithful to it regardless of the downfalls definitely gained much benefit right now and they are probably holding up until now. Now that the early adoption has already ended, our ways should already change, we should be much smarter with our investments and act accordingly to the current market situation.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Basic Bitcoin skills on: August 21, 2021, 01:13:05 PM
my first post on this forum I decided to make it here since Bitcoin is what I want to concentrate on going forward, I discovered this site through a google search in my quest to get answers to some questions about Bitcoin. And am amazed at how rich in information this forum is I have found almost 50% answers within my short period on this forum all thanks to the members who have been here before me.
I have a very simple question on Bitcoin:
What are the principal technical skills a bitcoin lover needs to have if I want to buy a large amount of Bitcoin and hold it for long-term purposes?
In terms of learning how to hold your bitcoin, there are no technical skills needed for you to be good at it. You just need to learn how to read the price change happening in the market and always make sure that you hit the right timing always so that when you sell, it is still profitable. It is usually a risk whenever you invest large amount of bitcoin but those who take risks will be the only one who can get the chance on gaining huge profits since it required large risks to gain large benefits. Make sure that your decision making with regards to your holding is not affected by your emotions.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all your assets, Investing in Bitcoin is really a madness or beneficial ? on: August 20, 2021, 05:24:33 PM
Upon deciding whether you will invest all of your assets in bitcoin, you should first take consideration of the time and the current price of it. If you don't want it to go to waste, then make sure you invest while the price is still low. It will only be beneficial if you know the right timing with regards to buying and selling. You cannot just randomly decide that you want to invest in bitcoin, see the news first, read articles about bitcoin's price changes and then make up a decision whether it will be beneficial if you'll invest at that time or it will only make you lose a lot of money.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Forum Skills on: August 20, 2021, 04:56:45 PM
For the few months I have been in this forum, I discovered without being told that one really need some digital skills to remain effective and relevant here on the long run. Though, only the knowledge of cryptocurrencies is enough. But someone like me, I am not well knowledgeable about cryptocurrencies, which I know this forum will educate me and has been doing.

When I looked at the service thread, I saw people offering different services of avatar design, signature design, software design etc.

Apart from that, I saw CryptopreneurBrainboss and others managing campaigns and also have own services. I saw DdmrDdmr, LoyceV, Ratimov, Fillippone and others always posting data like number of merits earned, newbies first post, most merit awards, they talk about whitepaper and lots more. I keep wondering how they generate these information. I often wish to join the discussions, but they appear high technical to me . I like being successful in anything I do. Yes, I know success needs commitment and perseverance. Even the aforementioned names have been here for years, hence there enviable knowledge.

Please, is it to early/late for me to start somewhere? I am not that comfortable with only posting and contributing texually here. I need to solve technical problems.
Please, what are the basic steps I will take, what are the basic skills I need now that are not that financial intensive. Because I am still under the trauma and/or defeat of fraud/scam before I joined this forum.

I really need to be a positive energy in this forum in the future. I therefore have to create this thread to get started. I have enough time, apart from being here I don't have things that will take my time offline.

Thank you all.
As to what you've mentioned, you're just new here so I think you should not put a lot of pressure on yourself about giving technical contributions. Just savor your time learning first and don't stop taking in new knowledge each day. Soon you will find where you feel more comfortable whether it is with regards to offering technical services or giving out advices that could be helpful for newbies and other investors. It is never too late for you to earn here in crypto, just make sure you are not wasting your time and your chance because not everyone is blessed with the idea of knowing crypto.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All hail king 👑 BTC on: August 20, 2021, 04:25:24 PM
Apart from the fact that BTC is the first that we all know ( there are actually few coins before BTC though ) this coin still take the lead on the battle front, whatever is going to trampled on crypto ( bad news or other ) they always point to BTC first, in fact BTC will keep taking the lead for years to come this is why I advice newbies who know too less about crypto but in haste to rather take the risk on BTC, why?

1. You can buy and decide to never look back, no one is changing BTC chain to other, it's not a smart contract project

2. The only coin that still stands it's ground on decentralisation

3. You will sleep peacefully at night 😂😂

BTC isn't the best around but it's the best for newbies who don't want to waste time, way better than hype on shitcoins
Bitcoin indeed is a good place to start for newbies hence they should take consideration first of learning about it and other coins. As they get more knowledge about crypto, they should decide afterwards then if they are going to focus on investing in bitcoin alone or choose to diversify their investment on different altcoins too. Knowledge is power, as long as they are eager to learn each day, they will have the capability to make the right decisions and to do the best course of action for them to be successful regardless of their short stay in the crypto world.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AND YET ANOTHER FALL; A dip or A dump. on: August 20, 2021, 03:39:58 PM
Crypto community has been recording a great rise in prices in the past few days. Everyone has been saying the bull run has come again until this night when the prices of all the major cryptocurrencies. started falling again. Can this price fall be a Dip or the dump.
Predictions in cryptocurrencies are just smart guesses and does not guarantee us that it will happen for certain. The current market is usually experiencing dips and we cannot consider it as dumps because every second, there's a price increase also regardless of the sudden downfalls. The volatility of cryptocurrencies challenges us to do better and to decide better wherein as we become patient with our investment, we'll have higher chances of taking profit since the only way the crypto is going is expected to be upwards. Pay attention to the price changes but don't make decisions suddenly whenever your emotions tells you to do so or else you'll regret it in the end.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is not a rival of Bitcoin on: August 20, 2021, 02:50:14 PM
The comparison of the value of etherum and bitcoin is very far, the price of one BTC is $ 45,975 and one Etherum is $ 3,152 (15 August 2021, 16:53:00). Etherum is far behind BTC, although Etherum’s current popularity is great, unfortunately Etherum still can’t be the first in the market. what do you think?
There's really no need to compare since both is playing their role in the market on their top performances ever since. Bitcoin has always been on top and Ethereum never managed to get very near to its value yet their achievements together showed how they can both dominate the market at same time. There will still be a lot of things that will happen in the future but ome thing is for sure, both coins will be able to survive and has a high probability of getting recognized or legalized in many countries in the world. Investing on both can also be beneficial so stop comparing, just keep on cherishing how good these coins are.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency and entertainment. on: August 20, 2021, 02:01:12 PM
Entertainment and Cryptocurrency have some similar needs in order for it to remain progressing and become successful. Both needs to be in the news with positive remarks so people will keep on patronizing it. They both need to be publicized too with persuasive comments in order to pique the interest of money. It is not only one news we need for cryptocurrency gain increase popularity, instead we need continuous, legitimate and encouraging news about it so that not only the investors will be interested with it but also the government of different countries in the world.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC Volatility More of an Advantage than Disadvantage? on: August 20, 2021, 01:20:33 PM
One of the undeniable features of BTC is price Volatility. When the market is green, a trader can run into massive profits. However, on a bad day ones Portfolio can varnish within hours. My question, is the price volatility of BTC more of an advantage than disadvantage to traders?
It will depend on the investor's timing. The volatility often mark a detrimental effect on your certain holding since most of the time these days, the value goes down than it goes high. But once you are able to find the right timing on selling, you will learn how beneficial the volatility can be like for example, you bought some of your investment for a low price but after holding for a long while, a bull run takes place and you can sell it in a higher price. Just learn to be patient and always make sure that your decision making is not affected by your emotions for it usually leads you to mistakes which you'll later on regret.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ban, mission impossible on: August 19, 2021, 03:34:49 PM
Given the nature of this digital currency, there are always conversations to be heard about not buying Bitcoin, as Bitcoin works outside the traditional banking system, so there are too many opponents to it. However, its design is such that no one can create a particular barrier to buying it. If you have access to the Internet and a Bitcoin wallet, you can invest in buying Bitcoin.

Many countries have struggled to obtain this digital currency. Bolivia, Thailand, Vietnam and Bangladesh, for example, are all trying to obtain Bitcoin. Even more advanced countries such as Russia, Japan, Australia and Venezuela have attempted to legally sell Bitcoin. But it is interesting to note that some countries, such as India and the United States, have not yet taken action in this regard and have not yet defined an official policy on such currencies.

In general, it should be said that bitcoin cannot be an obstacle, and this is one of the advantages of Bitcoin.
The reputation of bitcoin over the years was taken care of over the years and having it getting banned by some countries specially China is something that might confuse many. Those countries who chose to restrict the use of bitcoin might have their reasons like they see cryptocurrencies and bitcoin as a threat to their economy or to their power over the citizens. Bitcoin's purpose is to introduce convenience in transactions and give financial freedom to many but when it come to the betterment of the economy of a country, we cannot rely bitcoin to aid that one so we should know what role bitcoin plays in a certain country.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fall of Afghanistan Or Rise OF Afghanistan on: August 19, 2021, 03:03:27 PM
Afghanistan has WON the war against the Super Power USA and is now under freedom. USA has faced the worst defeat despite being a super power.
20 years of struggle has come to life now.

But International media is using the headlines "FALL OF Afghanistan " ?  Is it not the RISE OF Afghanistan Huh
The recent news about the downfall of Afghanistan's government was shown that it is something that harms many although it might have ended up through murders at some point. It can also be clearly observed the fear and the terror as many citizens forced to fly out of the country to the point that there are some who died from falling in an airplane. It is actually something that can be considered confusing, what is really the purpose of the terrorists, is it really for the betterment of the country or are they just trying to claim power over it. The media never fails to confuse us nevertheless, I hope everyone in there will stay safe and can return to their normal live with the absence of fear and deaths.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Regulation is needed likewise the law involvement on: August 19, 2021, 02:39:35 PM
Have anyone think about this or am i the only one?

We want to get rid of the government off the faces of crypto space with the use of decentralisation and DeFi projects but this have been hurting us in every way, not wanting government involvement we end up hating centralised projects, oh yea we don't want anyone pipping in our lives and money but this have become the ultimate tool for evil people, even Scammers too

With defi projects scammers find it easier to get their jobs done, you don't have to show your face if you plan to introduce a Dex exchange or a DeFI anyways, it's easier to just say we are decentralized as an excuse  Grin Grin Grin

The point is a world without the law is full of flawless crime than a world with the law but still corrupted, too much of everything is bad they say let's just stay in between, centralised projects and decentralized projects have to exists and in some areas regulation is needed
The existence of a law enables us to maintain peace and order but when it comes to cryptocurrencies, once a law has been declared over it, it is no longer decentralized anymore. It is actually quite confusing actually that we long for the world to consider cryptocurrency as legal yet we don't want the government to have any rights over it. Well, in either way, abuse of power and greediness will still exist but I think it is best that cryptocurrencies remains decentralized so that we can cherish the financial freedom we always long for. No one knows what will happen in the future, for now let us be responsible with our investments in crypto.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is important on: August 19, 2021, 01:08:43 PM
There are so many impatience people that missed important details sometimes, and lose the chance to make bigger profit because they didn’t analyze the market in the first place.
please be patient.Valuable coins need time to grow.
I am not mean that all altcoins are worth to wait.Just wait selectively.
One thing we must to remember that our goal is to make profit,so Patience should be based on your target price.

Patience is one of the most important thing a person should have in many aspects in life and it is considered beneficial and fulfulling when it comes to crypto. Once you end up losing it, a lot of things can happen like sudden regrets at the end. If you've been in crypto for a long time, you will see how essential patience is wherein there are a lot of individuals who suddenly got so rich just through holding and being patient with their investment in crypto and in bitcoin. You will also learn how to persever specially when there's no motivation left and the downfall has been too consistent already yet you should remember that after every storm comes another sunrise and a rainbow.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you be able to take an additional work if required? on: August 19, 2021, 12:06:36 PM
A few of my friends are struggling to get a job. They are in their mid-lives and the country they live in is particularly difficult to find a job at a certain age. Also, when some recovery was being noticed after the 2008 - 2012 crisis, COVID struck hard on an economy with a strong tourism sector. Meanwhile, I made some choices that landed me an stable and reasonably paid job that also leaves enough time to do other stuff that generates income or reduces my costs if I wish to do so.

What is the situation in your country and for yourself? Would you be able to land additional work for example working with crypto, selling stuff on-line, youtubing or something else?
Due to the pandemic, having a regular job has become a blessing and not a burden for many. Some would consider theirselves as fortunate since they still have a job that helps the suffice their family's needs while some are struggling to find one as their past job's company closes down due to bankruptcy. Nowadays, it is all about finding any possible means to earn money and having an additional work will also give you some advantage. In my case, I have a regular job yet I still pursue investing in crypto and some other jobs that is profitable because no one knows what the future holds, I want to secure it as much as possible.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some individuals hostile to Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2021, 11:14:07 AM
For some time now I have constantly come across prominent individuals in society sponsoring hate speech against Bitcoin, most surprisedly These individuals either own traditional financial platforms such as banks and they are expected to be knowledgeable in investment and financial transactions and processes that seek to eliminate all the security challenges faced in the banking system through blockchain technology which give end-to-end encryption that guarantees a high level of security.

What are their motives could it be that they are just anti Bitcoin or attacking Bitcoin because it is a competitor that will soon push them out of business.
One of their reason behind could be because they are too ignorant on what bitcoin can do with their lives. It can also be because they once had a bad experience or ended up losing a lot of money from it and they didn't bother to try again so they are trying to pull other people down with them. It can be rational too if their reason is threatening their business but no matter how hard they try to persuade other people to stop patronizing bitcoin, it won't be possible because bitcoin's influence will spread continuously over the years and it will get enough recognition someday to be considered as a legal currency.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why FOMO when a coin is pumping on: August 17, 2021, 04:26:05 PM
I always wonder why a lot of people fomo to buy a coin or token after the price has pumped. In this present bull run I've seen a lot of people FOMO and buy cryptos at a really high price and they quickly dump when they witness drawdowns.
Isn't that just hustling backwards?? Its almost like they are trying to loose money on purpose.
So i wonder why they FOMO to buy in the first place
Those person who are FOMOs tend to let their emotions take over their decision making which leads them to regrets and mistakes. It is indeed exciting to watch and wait till another bull run arises but still you should take consideration of the factors that may affect or may stop the incoming bull run. As the become afraid that they are being left behind, they usually end up getting left behind for real as they lose lots of money as they buy at a very high price. Each bull run shows signs that it is getting near but those occurence can be deceiving and may guide you to failure instead of success.
