261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the reasons for entering the crypto market? on: July 11, 2021, 12:31:30 PM
As a newbie in cryptocurrency, I first learned about cryptocurrency and wanted to start investing,The reason was that I couldn't go out during the covid-19. I happened to see cryptocurrency news on the website. I started to be shocked by their earnings. I started to invest in Bitcoin and other altcoins with my free funds. I want to ask you when and why did you start investing in cryptocurrencies?
Aside from the fact that cryptocurrencies are on trend that time specially bitcoin, I also entered so that I can secure my future. I have high belief that crypto will be the future currency that all of us will be using. I need to take advantage of the opportunity of knowing and learning about crypto earlier than others. I intend not to let this chance slip away and kept pushing through my investment regardless of the circumstances I may face in the way. It helps me a lot in many ways specially in my finance whenever I am able to make the right decision and hit the right timing whenever I am investing.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the statement that Bitcoin is a private digital currency correct? on: July 11, 2021, 12:03:00 PM
Quote
For the first time, the People's Bank of China responded to the recent suppression of virtual currencies, emphasizing its opposition to central bank digital currencies and the threat of stable currencies. These relatively negative new formulations mean that the regulatory situation in the future does not seem to be relaxed.
Fan Yifei, deputy governor of the People's Bank of China, said that digital currency issuers can be divided into private digital currencies and central bank digital currencies. Typical representatives of private digital currencies are currencies such as Bitcoin, as well as various so-called "stable currencies."

Private digital currencies have no national endorsement, and central bank digital currencies have the state as a credit guarantee.

If Bitcoin is a private digital currency. Then, the issuer is personal. Is this person Satoshi Nakamoto? Is he the owner of Bitcoin? However, Bitcoin is "decentralized." There is no issuer.

edit:In order to get a better understanding of my topic, I edited it a bit more deeply, thank you.
With regards to Satoshi Nakamoto, his existence remains a mystery up until now. Bitcoin being considered as a digital currency can somehow be acceptable for some reasons. Just with the fact that it is not being used physically and is being transacted online makes it a digital currency already that can also be used to purchase stuffs that can be bought through through bitcoin. It has remained as a threat to the government and the economy of many country since it can disturb the current balance or system built by the government. Nevertheless, that system they built are mostly beneficial to them and crypto serves as a savior from the abuse they do to their citizens.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey agree to talk about bitcoin at an event in July on: July 10, 2021, 06:50:20 PM
After all the things that happened after Elon Musk entered the crypto world, we are all hoping that what they will be talking about would be for the betterment of the market and the people in it. It has been quite while ever since Elon removed bitcoin as a mode of payment for Tesla and it did made a huge impact on bitcoin's price. Considering that they are huge personalities and billionaires, whatever they will get involved to in crypto would surely affect the price movement of many coins. So let's hope for the best in this meeting, whatever it will be.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin slander Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2021, 06:09:25 PM
After the recent bleak market. Many people do not even understand the basic principles of Bitcoin and blockchain knowledge, so they attack Bitcoin. What kind of mental state is this?
Instead of helping others to get their hopes high once again, they try to pull other to the same mindset they have. It is very evident ever since bitcoin started that such kind of people exists and will keep on existing. Every coin has two different side and for crypto, there will always be some who would never stop believing on it while there are some who will keep on doubting and spreading fear towards others. Nevertheless, do not let anyone disturb your peace of mind, as long as you know something will, do not entertain other individuals opinion cause yours is the only one that should matter to you.

266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Last quarter hope? on: July 10, 2021, 05:09:54 PM
I really don't see any changes on the crypto in this last quarter continuous price drop has disappointed everyone in this forum and the market has crashed. I don't think there will be a bull run this year.
We still cannot be certain on any prediction we make here, we will just keep on disappointing ourselves as we keep on hoping that on a certain time or a certain moment, the market will recover once again. We need to understand how long it took for the market to recover once again after the long time of dumping. Once things get settled from bitcoin with regards to the issues it is currently facing, everyone will surely enjoy seeing lots of new all time highs that would exceed our expectation so just be patient because no matter how long it will take, the market has no other direction but to keep on going up in the next few years.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How crypto currency change your Life? on: July 10, 2021, 04:49:34 PM
How crypto currency change your life?

For me, When I was started it seems that in crypto world is not an easy way to have profits because of an online procedure and no controls. But then again when I know how to handle specially on Trading or in bounty program and that's the reason I started  to earn.
Ever since I've entered this new platform, a lot of things changed in my life. Obviously, most of us or all of us will mention changes on our financial state as we gain lots of profits in crypto as we became successful in our investments. Other than that, I've also became much better in terms of time management and proficiency in english or constructing ideas. The learnings I've gained also made me a better investor as I end up being a much better observer when it comes to the changes happpening in the market. I know lots of things will keep on changing in me with the help of crypto and I hope most of it is in a positive way.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the currencies in the movie are Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2021, 04:23:46 PM
As long as the information about bitcoin is factual and helpful to make people further understand what it is, I see no problem having bitcoin involved in movies as a currency. It will end up becoming like an advertisement or help to make bitcoin more popular considering that many people are fond of watching movies. Also, it would be best if the movies comes from famous film producers so that the influence rate would be much faster and much higher. Nevertheless, we cannot really demand cause they are doing us a favor so whatever movie it is, as long as it does not destroy bitcoin's image, there would be no problem at all.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the time for a comeback for crypto? on: July 10, 2021, 02:26:18 PM
We've seen coins goes down, and up in the market,
but since the last two days crypto stabilized,
are we going to see the coins upward or this is just a big trap for us
while rich names gathers all the good coins and left us with shitcoins in the market
what are your calls for this one i hope we share knowledges for everyone
Well, take a look on how well crypto recovered after the 3 years you've posted it. Many really expected that crypto would come back again but it exceeded everyone's expectation as it becomes able to hit a bull run that reached so many new all time highs. There are people who thought bitcoin would reach atleast $20k but as it surpassed that target price, it went much higher and higher. Even though we are currently in a bear market right now, we should still expect the best as we witnessed crypto recovering after a long while before. We should have our hopes higher right now that it is certain that crypto will always keep on coming back stronger.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about NFTs? on: July 10, 2021, 12:33:14 PM
^^ Like that title says. I want to know more about what you guys in Altcoin Discussion think about NFTs?

Do you have any overall thoughts or even any NFT projects you like? lmk
So far, NFTs are making so much noise in the market lately considering the "too good to be true" profit they offer to the players. One that's been circulating and taking so much popularity right now is Axie Infinity wherein the value of the SLP has grown a lot ever since it hit the trend. Lots and lots of people are buying their own teams which led to the sudden price pump. We all know what happened last time in the market wherein bitcoin experienced a bull run but continuous dump afterwards, let us hope it will not happen to NFTs too cause no matter how much we try to deny it, it is still possible.
271  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency will always be threat to government on: July 10, 2021, 10:48:56 AM
The government always go against things when they are not fully in charge and having control over it. Government can partially or not at all accept cryptocurrency because cryptocurrency is a threat to the government. Already many people knows about the benefits of cryptocurrency and if it's not challenged by the government many people won't  be willing to do their savings or business with the central bank ,instead they would prefer to invest their money into cryptocurrency because of it interest they will gain and other benefits.
Government will always be against it, but it can't stop the existence of the cryto world

Just with the fact that cryptocurrencies offers financial freedom to many considering that it is decentralized makes it an enemy of the government already. Since they cannot get a hold on it or control over it means they couldn't put tax or gain any benefit from it. That would lead them to think that it should be stopped and be restricted since none of them are able benefit from it and the citizens are recieving much money where they couldn't get a part from it. But later on, crypto will dominate and the government wouldn't be able to stop it so let us take advantage of the moment while we still can.
272  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If your country does not allow the use of Bitcoin, what would you do? on: July 09, 2021, 06:56:26 PM
Here in our country, bitcoin almost got banned due to its much popularity that happened way back 2017 or 2018 and everyone got alarmed and though it was just a scam. Later on, the issue was forgotten and the government stopped paying attention to it. If in case bitcoin really got banned in our country, I will still find ways on how I can still access it or if I can afford moving to another country where they regulate the use of it, I will probably do so. I have huge faith over my investment so I wouldn't let anyone stop me without even trying to outplay them.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Axie reaches all time high. What is your next pick? on: July 09, 2021, 05:57:55 PM

NFT+DeFi, hot concept, hot money. The gaming-NFT economy has boomed in recent weeks. When the market is choppy and buyers largely remain sidelines,  AXS has quadrupled in price to $14 since July 8. With the good performance of AXS, NFT+DeFi is likely to be the next hot trends. What are your NFT+DeFi picks?

Here are my 3 picks.

1. Crowns (CWS), backed by Binance, dropped from ATH $55 to $4.5, great potential.
2. Unifty (NIF), undervalued gem, great profit when NFT boom comes.
3. SolPixel, NFT+DeFi marketplace, good concept and good marketing, will launch IDO soon.
Axie has been the talk of the town ever since its popularity went to the roof all of a sudden. There are a lot of individuals who brought their own teams and had their hopes high for this new platform that enables them to earn lots of profits. So far, the value of SLP has been increasing a lot lately which made it more popular and made more people eager to buy their own teams and start grinding. We all know how the market works wherein as the value increases continuously and goes at the top, there's a high possibility that it will crash down soon so it would be better if those Axie players would prepare for the worst.
274  Economy / Economics / Re: The first rule of investing is saving on: July 09, 2021, 04:13:20 PM
It is fairly obvious, but there are people out there that have written 200 pages self-help books and made a fortune out of them by simply stating this simple fact of life: "you can invest your savings. If you ainīt got any, you ainīt gonna invest". (I admit you could argue that you can borrow but still nobody ainīt lending ya if you ainīt gonna givvet baksh).

The basic concepts that will save you a 15 bucks book:

- you invest so that your money works for you. Even if you cannot drop your job, you can still live a bit better with extra income.
- Investing is sacrificing something today to get something tomorrow. This is just a definition. You save x today because you want 2x tomorrow or in year or whenever.
- The first step to invest is saving part of your income. No savings, no future.
- If you have credits unpaid (other than mortgages or other asset backed credits), you pay those first because they charge you a lot.

And from here we could start speaking on how are you going to save regularly, if it is going to be 10% of your income, or 5% or 50%, how are you going to learn about investing, etc...

I would agree with your statement. Once you enter investment, you should first clear out any debts or credits that are unpaid or anything that tangles you from progressing. You should start off like a blank paper, with nothing on it yet and then you start filling it up slowly over time with assurance or certainty that none of it would ever be taken away from you anymore. No matter how much you are investing, it will still grow so just have the perseverance and the eagerness to make it through because it will all be worth it someday. Patience should be observed whilst investing cause it will determine how far you'll be able to go.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will people who ban Bitcoin in some countries give up Bitcoin? on: July 09, 2021, 03:28:46 PM
The threat or the fear will surely hit some crypto enthusiasts yet those who are really faithful and hardly believe about bitcoin's potential will surely find ways to access and still be able to invest on it. No matter how much restriction the government put into a certain thing, many people will still find ways on how they can enjoy their freedom still regardless of the limitation being given to them. There will be few for sure that will give up on bitcoin as they find the current situation hopeless without even giving it a second thought that the banning might just be temporary.
276  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How a post should be on: July 09, 2021, 03:05:05 PM
Post should be quality that will originate vital discussion, discussion that connects to Bitcointalk forum that can encourage  and enlighten members of the forum. quality post is not about lenght but the quality of the content it carries, that can add value to the forum. A post must be a write up  of good discussion that everyone can understand that will breed quality answers.
Aside from assuring the quality of your posts, you should also pay attention to honesty on the information you are sharing to others. Plagiarism is a crime here and might even lead you from getting banned from posting in the forum. No pressure should really be given for the newbies about this matter yet as they are still learning and coping up with the ways in here. If you really want to rank up and gain merits, make sure you post related stuffs to the topics and make sure the build up is great as well as the pureness of each word you are saying. Just be real, write what you know and share what you learned.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your thoughts for half year on: July 09, 2021, 02:37:25 PM
We have seen many moves from most popular currencies such as; BTC, ETH, BNB, LTC and EOS and the rest, this year most of it gained it's ATH.
What is your thoughts for the remaining part of the year as already the year is been cut into two part already, 6 months gone and this is the beginning of the remaining 6 months.

Will the market go higher or lesser?

What is your fate as we have moved to next part of the remaining year.

It's really hard to make a final prediction right now considering all the things that are happening in the market up until now. With all the news saying crypto will be banned in China or in any other countries while happenings like the regulation of crypto in El Salvador and other countries planning to, we cannot really make a guess yet on which will make much more impact. Also having Elon Musk meeting with Jack Dorsey about their plans with crypto, a lot of things are still about to happen. So for now, take advantage of the dip and prepare for whatever is coming whether it is good or bad.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 July is going to big for btc price? on: July 09, 2021, 02:07:19 PM
Btc going to big move after 21 July because ELON MUSK going to meet JACK DORSEY, this meeting purpose is how to mine btc, which enargy are used in btc mine
You can check also: https://twitter.com/jack/status/1408102135040970759?s=19
What is your thinking about this meeting? Is possible to grow up btc price after this meeting?
  Drope your point? Tnx
Those two are indeed huge personalities and hold huge amount of money in their hand yet making a prediction at a specific date for me is still not ideal. We should learn how much prediction was made in the past that broke the hearts of many as it never happened ever. Their meeting may tackle about their plans over crypto but still, the outcome is divided into two wherein it will either end up as something that will help crypto's betterment or it will worsen the current situation we're currently in at the moment. Their influence will surely make a huge impact in the market so expect the unexpected to avoid disappointments.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is the biggest investment opportunity in the future on: July 09, 2021, 01:43:12 PM
Cryptocurrency is not only in the biggest investment opportunity in the future because it is alreay a chance that should never be missed at the present and even from the past. Ever since crypto was introduced to the world and as it exhibits great potential of being successful in the future, the world should have already known that it will play an important role on many individuals financial situation. If you've known crypto for long and didn't miss the opportunity, consider yourself fortunate since it will show more advantages for you as time passes by and as we reach a world where crypto is already ruling the world.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto bans are temporary, we are on the right side of history. on: July 09, 2021, 01:21:59 PM
I guess most of you have noticed the rise in the number of banks and Financial commissions and Governments in different countries announcing bans on crypto purchases using banks, crypto exchanges, and in some case Bitcoin mining crackdowns. From UK to Japan, Canada (Ontario) to China, but one thing for sure is all those attempts can't stop a force that has already gained momentum. It only signals that the Bitcoin movement is going down the right path of history.

They want to have control of how people spend and transact but with Bitcoin and other cryptos, they are powerless, that's why they are not happy.

In 1996, the regulatory bodies tried to ban Internet phone software, the rest is history  Grin

Just like how it went for internet and other stuffs before, countries or the government to be specific will try and restrict the use of it but later on will lead into the inevitable revolution of a new era. For crypto, sooner or later the world will know its name more and will later on adopt to the changes happening. There might be many countries trying to stop people using crypto but little do they know, it will be the new monetary revolution that the world would need in order to survive the sudden surge of changes. When that time comes, those who put their faith on crypto will soon benefit and will have the advantage over anyone else.
