461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know if an altcoin is a scam? on: June 09, 2021, 03:53:25 PM
You can learn about it right away through reading the team's white paper and monitoring the price movement of their altcoin. You should also learn about their schemes like the offer or the expectations they are giving with regards to their coin. Also you can try searching for the top altcoins at the moment so that you wouldn't have to waste your time anymore risking on a new or unpopular altcoin. It would be safer that way and it could be more beneficial if ever the coin suddenly gets more successful over time.
462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: June 09, 2021, 03:33:17 PM
Like I get the markets move but is this big wallets, ancient wallets? Who is actually selling? Normie noobs who just got in the market and are spooked by comments?

I dream of the day when alt coins are not tied to the price of bitcoin. Uhg...
Ever since altcoins made its way, it has always been paired to bitcoin. Still, the day will surely come when it will not be dependent on bitcoin anymore but that would be hard to imagine right now considering the correlation between the two. Those who are selling are not just the newbies or noobs that are affected by the FUD's in the comments but also those who went through very hard times during the bear market of 2018's bull run. We cannot actually blame them since maybe it caused them trauma. Nevertheless, if you would take a look at the bigger picture, holding will be much better since the only way bitcoin going to is upward.
463  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: pros and cons of bitcoin on: June 09, 2021, 03:10:43 PM
On the top of my head:

Pros
  • No fears of bans and account locks
  • Zero downtime
  • Transact freely, and having true ownership of your funds
  • More privacy compared to banks and other centralized services

Cons
  • The concept is pretty hard to grasp for the masses
  • Currently not as user friendly as tradfi platforms
  • People need to learn about security
  • Currently still volatile (as expected)

EDIT: thanks for the 2000th merit, pooya87! 🥳🎉
As much as we want to benefit from the pros and avoid downfall due to the cons of bitcoin, the first thing we should do is learn as much as we can about it. As you get to learn different things about it, you will then know your advantages and quickly be aware of the things you should do to boost your investments. If you would be too lazy to learn about the process, even the pros would be a disadvantage to you as you make mistakes that will lead you to a failed investment. On the other hand, the cons can be converted into pros if you know much about bitcoin so start studying and strategizing first before considering figuring out the cons and pros of it.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are all altcoins dependent on Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2021, 02:45:44 PM
If you can see the pattern or the movement of the price of altcoins with relation to bitcoin, you can see that both usually moves in parallel wherein as bitcoin rises, the altcoin rises as well. That may be the case but not all altcoins depends on bitcoins bull run or bear market. There are instances where the success of bitcoin is made because of the influence it made and the success it reached over the years. Mostly they are helped by bitcoin that's why they made it to where they are right now but other times they made it there because of the owner of the currency or the team's perseverance.
465  Economy / Economics / Re: Human productivity on: June 09, 2021, 12:24:20 PM
In the past, people farmed and exchanged the surplus grain harvested in autumn for rare, unchanging gold. Then give the gold to a trusted person in exchange for his IOU. When you finish eating your own grain, you can exchange the IOU for gold and then exchange for grain.
Now and in the future, we will replace the surplus production with a rare, trustworthy and unchangeable Bitcoin, and it can be quickly exchanged for the product we want in any corner of the world. We no longer have to work hard to carry these gold and IOUs.
In fact, in a few years, I often imagined how to send money conveniently on the Internet. After thinking of Bitcoin, I found that Bitcoin, which has solved scarcity, trust and immutability, is money itself, and it is digital gold that is easy to use.
The world is slowly changing its ways. From the past where farming and mining was physically done as well as trading, now with the rise of the blockchain technology and the success of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. We've all seen how much innovation has taken place and it would not be surprising anymore if one day we will see bitcoin as an official currency the world is using. Although it would take much adjustments before it could happen, still there is a possibility and everyone is hoping for that while others are not. We have our own reasons why we don't want bitcoin to become exclusive for everyone.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Don't Want To Hear Anybody Crying When BTC Will Reach 1M Per Coin! on: June 08, 2021, 09:51:13 PM
It may sound ambitious but actually, it is possible for bitcoin to attain such high price. Some people will surely celebrate while others are going to regret for sure. Even though it is still very far from happening, buying during the dip is a very important task. It will help you in gaining profit as the market recovers once again. Everyone should always be considerate on the happenings of bitcoin so that they can always find a way on how they can take advantage of it.
467  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: June 06, 2021, 11:45:46 PM
It wouldn't function so easily as each currency made by every individual battles together for dominance on who will lead the price war. If people were given the chance, it is more likely that many will suffer and some will dominate the game. It is an evidence that the blockchain era is flourishing which will be much evident in the future as crypto continuously dominates the game. We should familiarize ourselves and take what we can while there is still time for crypto so in the future, we'll be one of those who will benefit.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall from 65k to $30k was the best thing to ever happen to Bitcoin on: June 06, 2021, 11:35:02 PM
Not everyone is actually happy about it. There are many people who considered themselves suffering because of it while others are saying that it is a great opportunity to buy during the dip. We should not be too selfish and consider other people's feelings with regards to their investments. Bitcoin will soon recover once again that is why we should all not be sad about what's happening and find a way on how we can take advantage of the current dip. We will soon get our holdings back again, just have faith with bitcoin.
469  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You need to read this if you are still new to crypto space on: June 06, 2021, 11:25:07 PM
A lot of people were actually hooked to cloud mining before but now, everybody figured out that most of it are scams. Some might be able to give you some benefits but in reality, they are feeding on you more than you are earning from them. Such kind of schemes is still evident and should be avoided. That is why advices and informing newbies is really important and we should always make sure to guide them specially in terms of scams so they could still be saved.
470  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is our last hope for financial independence - John McAfee on: June 06, 2021, 11:15:18 PM
Crypto gave us something we should cherish at the same time it gaves is financial independence that the government seems not to give to us. We should atleast appreciate it whole global adoption has not take place yet. We should make the most of it while it lasts. We should always make sure that we take advantage of opportunity that it gives us. Not everyone was given the chance to learn about crypto so we should make sure we grab this opportunity and never let go of it.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global adoption — A ridiculous term on: June 06, 2021, 10:36:58 PM
It might be considered ridiculous not only because it is not yet possible but also because it is almost trying to remove the essence of bitcoin. Privacy and decentralization of the coin might get removed or disregarded as the global adoption takes place. Indeed some may benefit but generally, all of us will suffer if ever that happens. Maybe we could not stop it someday as technology continues to improve but still for now, let us stop pushing it through as the solution the world needs. There are still a lot of ways for the world to keep on surviving without asking for the help of a digital currency.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoins to Buy During Dip on: June 06, 2021, 10:25:08 PM
Considering that the dip is also occuring to bitcoin, we can somehow say that each and every altcoin right now is an open opportunity to be bought. Still, try and find a certain altcoin that is on many people's toplist and do not be too carefree on picking just because almost every altcoin right now is down. If you won't be smart on picking, expect the worst as the value of it may not go high on the next long years. It will be worth it if you will be able to find the best altcoin at the present.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: June 06, 2021, 10:16:22 PM
I do not pay much attention to memecoins but I am seeing a lot saying that dogecoin can be one of it that can last long. They are trying to imply that it is possible because Elon Musk is behind the use of it. Well, if ever Elon suddenly decides to abandon it, what do you think will happen to the coin? Everyone should remember what it did to bitcoin and what how much trouble he cause after leaving it. The same thing can happen to dogecoin as well wherein if it is for bitcoin, it can still survive after that but for a memecoin? I don't think so.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Show me your biggest gains! on: June 06, 2021, 10:02:56 PM
The biggest gain I ever had happened during the bull run last 2018 wherein the value reached 20k$. I never though that would be possible but still all the hardwork I've given paid off since I worked fot that for so long. I was able to earn almost $2000 that time in bitcoin and $1000 for ETH. It might not be that much but I really needed that kind of amount that time. The only mistake I did was panic selling as the bear market occurs that time. I never thought bitcoin would be able to come back strong again after that time.
475  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Money Need Competition To Flourish on: June 06, 2021, 09:47:13 PM
Just like any other stuff in this world, money needs to be invested on or patronized in order for it to flourish. We should atleast remember that the country's population affects the value of its money as well as the economy of it. On the other hand, the existence of crypto poses a threat for some countries since their fiat may be set aside by it and will end up causing its value to fall down. After all, it is not really a competition but a natural occurence. Someday a transition may occur which will surprise and benefit many.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Doesn’t Exist, Or How Satoshi Nakamoto Tells Lies To People on: June 06, 2021, 09:36:41 PM
The existence of bitcoin is still a mystery, everyone still wants to know who is satoshi and what does he look like. Over the years, bitcoin was able to reach lots of achievements that doesn't seem possible for a simple digital currency to make. We should be proud of it and feel privileged considering that not everyone was given the chance to learn about it in their lifetime. All of these might be a lie, it is too good to be true but still bitcoin is one of the best thing that has ever happened in our lives and I will always be thankful for it.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone can be lucky when it comes to shitcoins on: June 06, 2021, 09:52:33 AM
All we keep hearing about is a guy who invested 100$ in meme coin and go home with 100,000$ but no one is talking about those guys who invested 10,000$ in meme coins and go home with zero $ , the truth is many losses more money than those who win investing in meme coin, it's like buying your fantasies when you know that your chances are very slim, meme coins are shitcoins but many don't want to accept just because someone make 100,000$ off the shitcoin haha
Well the truth is that investing on shitcoins is much more risky compared to investing on successful coins. The price drop might be higher for the top coins but the price drop can go down to zero or stable down into a low value for shitcoins. That's why it is important that before you get involved on a certain shitcoin that you've seen to have a potential of being successful, you carefully analyze it first and watch the price movement. The benefits can also be much higher if ever a shitcoin suddenly goes up high but still, the greater the risk the greater the rewards.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin be traded in all countries in 2025? on: June 06, 2021, 07:42:41 AM
What is Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin be traded in all countries in 2025?
Bitcoin is the most advanced virtual reality that has become the most popular around the world.
Although this bitcoin is banned in some countries, most countries in the world have licenses to buy and sell bitcoin.
Countries where bitcoin transactions take place are being recognized as superior countries.
So I think all the countries that have been banned, those countries, if the ban on bitcoin or virtual coins is lifted, then those countries will move forward.
That is why the value of Bitcoin will go out even more.
The advantage of Bitcoin is -
Big companies can transact with Bitcoin very easily and securely. It will also increase their time and will be safe.
For this reason, the transactions of Bitcoin will increase a lot by 2025.
Bitcoin has a lot more to go still and there will be lots of adjustments before we see it getting traded on different countries in the next few years. Considering that bitcoin is a decentralized currency, most of the governments in the world are against it that's why there are plenty of news saying that bitcoin is already banned or is about to be banned on a certain country. We should still be patient regardless of the struggles, someday soon we will see bitcoin flourish and achieve greater heights which will give us lots of benefits.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Haven't Checked Elon Musk's Tweets For 2 Weeks And Don't Plan To! Life Is Good on: June 05, 2021, 08:10:43 PM
We have all the freedom on what we are going to do with regards to Elon Musk's tweets or opinions. At some point, we can actually use it as a weapon against him through analyzing what actions we can do to take advantage on what he is doing in the market. If you have no interest on beating him on his own game, you can just simply set aside everything he is saying as if it is just a normal wind passing by. If you find his tweets toxic to your mind, feel free to avoid it so that you can focus on your goal with no distractions along the way.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You hoping that the next coin Elon will hype is one of the coin you are holding on: June 05, 2021, 07:22:22 PM
Elon Musk creates a lot of millionaires on those DogeCoin bag holders, are you hoping that the next coin Elon will hype is one of the coins you are holding, honestly I am and praying that the next token he will hype is TRON, still buying a lot of it.
Why not it's cheap and fast what can you ask more?
In my own opinion, I wouldn't mind whatever coin he hypes next. If it would be the coin I have bought recently and it ended up successful as he advertises it, then I will be glad since it will give me lots of benefits for sure. If ever the coin I bought gets successful for a while and suddenly crashes as he abandons it, I'll feel bad for sure and at the same time I will blame it on him as he becomes the foundation of the success of the coin. Many people are irritated on what Elon Musk is doing but the best thing to do is to ignore all of his opinions since most of his tweets are now being disregarded by many.
