381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some millionaires hate Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2021, 11:50:10 PM
Simply because it has been an easy bridge for the past years for many to reach their level without putting the same level they exerted to get to that point. We cannot blame them actually, maybe at some point it hindered them from progressing more. Also, the amount of time they spent on studying and grinding just to earn that much was like thrown away due to the existence of crypto. Some millionaires take it as another opportunity while others see it as a threat. I think it would be best if they would just take advantage of it considering the wealth they hold and start investing on it to further more succeed.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Force of Nature on: June 20, 2021, 11:45:51 PM
Coming from a currency that was made artificially, I don't think it is accurate that we consider it as something coming from the nature. Bitcoin harms the nature, that's the real statement. From the fossil fuel being used to mine it to the energy consumption that may keep on rising in the future, bitcoin is a nature destroyer if not solved properly. It is indeed a new life form that was brought to life by many who believed in it but including it as a part of nature is just absurd. We can still keep on showing our support without making up things about it that is not true from the very beginning.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: June 20, 2021, 11:40:14 PM
This news will surely make a huge impact on bitcoin's reputation as well as its value. We know how it works for crypto and influencing a nation can also mean you will soon influence the whole world. If ever this works out well for El Salvador and if ever their economy rise higher due to this decision, we should expect that lots of other countries will soon follow its footsteps. There are a lot of countries that has bad speculation over bitcoin but it is a good thing that some countries are open for the possibilities of gaining help from crypto. Let us hope it works out for El Salvador for it will mean much more success for bitcoin in the future.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fraud on: June 20, 2021, 11:34:57 PM
Hi,

Are there any ways to recover from a BTC scam that one has fallen for? (when you know that a popular exchange involved in the transfer chain is not financially regulated in your country; but recognised so your bank can't help either)

Happy to share more details if helpful. Also, not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question.

Thanks!
It is surely difficult to recover any amount from a scam specially if the scammer is really good. It would require professional help from IT department or for someone who knows how to handle such cases. That is why it is very important that you make sure that you take extra precaution when sending money or making transaction with anyone in the crypto world. They might take advantage of your weakness and start grabbing all the money you earned for a very long time. You can also contact the developers of the said exchange if possible, maybe they can help you in that matter.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and CO2 emissions (Should we care?) on: June 20, 2021, 10:21:23 PM
Apparently the crack head skipped the battery pollution which is 74 percent more than a conventional car and also the space rocket emission which not only destroys the ozone  layer but contributes a good amount of CO2 to the atmosphere. He should first looks into his companies rather blaming Bitcoin and the miners.

The best solution is to ignore him whenever he tweets about Bitcoin. These influencers are cancer to the community.

His reason indeed contradicts the thing he is doing in his company. Space explorations are surely harmful within the earth and while going out of the planet. For sure there are some benefits we may gain because of it but still it is a risk and there is a probability that harm will be much more likely to be obtained on doing such. His tweets should not mean anything anymore, if you really know how bitcoin is mined and how miners are trying to avoid harming the nature, everything he says should just go out on your ear as soon as you hear it. Be smart and consider making researches so you won't be confused anymore.
386  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: June 20, 2021, 10:10:38 PM
I think it is mainly because of cryptocurrency's volatility and centralized nature. Bank are under the government's control and its volatility is not as great as bitcoin considering the fact that fiat currencies does not experience massive increases or decreases in value. It is solely based on a certain country's economy on how will the price move for fiat so if you are investing on banks and your country is under the threat of having a downfall in the economy, you shouldn't consider continuing anymore. Instead you should start diversifying your investment in crypto where it will be worth it later on.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is buying three bitcoin worth it? on: June 20, 2021, 10:00:11 PM
Three bitcoin is a huge amount of money already. If I were to recieve such huge amount of bitcoin, I wouldn't waste it anymore on something that would make me consume it without gaining anything back. But for me, it is not ideal anymore to buy at such value. I think it is just a waste if you will buy three bitcoin with this high value, but if you were able to make it in time where the value is still low, then you should buy as much as you can and for certain, it will be worth it and everything will pay back for you sooner or later.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL...until when? on: June 20, 2021, 04:22:34 PM
Hodl until you see the price you're waiting for or until you see the value increasing continuously. Waiting was never an easy thing to do, it requires a lot of courage and perseverance before you can accomplish and benefit from it. It is also a game full of risks since there will always be a possibility of having that one thing you're hodling for fail or keep on going down with no hopes of rising. Nevertheless, it is one of the most effective and important strategy in crypto and many people can prove how beneficial and effective it can once you get through it.
389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real reason I got into bitcoin on: June 20, 2021, 04:02:10 PM
In my experience, the very reason why I got into bitcoin was not only for the profit and gains, I see it as something that help me secure my future. No matter what is happening right now, I am very certain that bitcoin will make it in the future. It will be legal and it might even be a currency that almost everyone will be using. That's why I decided to take advantage of the fact that I was blessed to learn about bitcoin this early since it will help me build an advantage or an added benefit in the future as some people are just starting to learn and know how to earn and spend it.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are all the golden rules of bitcoin predicting? on: June 20, 2021, 03:22:01 PM
So. I heard recently from one of the few more level headed crypto youtubers. "Buy the hype, sell the news" or something. Basically she predicted the SNL doge crash. I wish I had watched that video before hand. But that's a new golden rule, buy, then before the news/expectation that it will pump sell.

One thing I know is never sell at a loss? Maybe? Hold like your life depends on it.

Any other golden rules I should know about? I constantly hear about everyone making great gains but I never seem to be able to.

I don't think there's such thing as a golden rule in making predictions. Remember that you are predicting what may occur in the future which means you are only speculating through observations on factors such as price movement and the current influence of the coin. You can get it right in predicting through getting other people's opinion wherein it would be best if you would follow the prediction of the majority. It is just right that you should buy the hype and sell the news because through that you can ensure that the probability of it occuring will take place in the future.
391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down trend are started ? on: June 20, 2021, 02:23:14 PM
We are going to show BTC death cross in few days, so it's a bearish signal for BTC market. If you show the previous BTC detath cross then you have got a beautiful idea. I am expecting BTC starting down trend,
What do you think about it? What is your view point?
I don't think we can consider it a downtrend already. You need to learn and see how the price moves really in the market. The rise and falls are not that much for the past few weeks. Maybe it is all because of the confusions and issues bitcoin is currently going through like having El Salvador legalizing the use of it within their nation and having China planning to ban bitcoin within their territory. Another thing is Elon Musk's plan to get back on having bitcoin as a mode of payment in bitcoin since they found a new renewable source of energy that is not harmful for the nature.
392  Economy / Economics / Re: Not just money but oil is most important in the World on: June 20, 2021, 12:56:54 PM
We all know how essential oil is and I agree with the statement that whoever controls oil rules the world. Almost all of the things we are using daily requires oil to function. On the other hand, having USA as the top tier in having oil, it makes them dominate the world already and later on, we will surely see other countries like China competing against USA over the world domination and ruling of oil. Nevertheless, as innovations take place, we will surely see something that will replace oils essence and some countries may take advantage over it.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can the market build an immune system against meddling from influencer like Musk on: June 19, 2021, 05:18:17 PM
Vitalik Bterin in a recent interview told CNN

Quote
that he believes that the crypto market will gradually build an "immune system" against such social media meddling. "Elon is not going to have this influence forever," he said. Frazzled cryptocurrency investors can only hope that Buterin is right.
There's a high possibility that over time, the market will be able to build an immune system against social media meddling. Elon Musk might have the spotlight right now and he is showing off how much influence he has in the market right now through hyping up dogecoin up until now and bitcoin for a while cause he ended up removing it as a mode of payment for TESLA all of a sudden. People will suddenly soon grow tired and used about all the things he is saying and also we should see if he is a reliable source of crypto information and suggestion not on the money he has all of the time.

Do you think or shared Buterin's views that the market will soon build an immune system and how it's going to happen, honestly we don't need people like Elon Musk who has an influence in the market.
394  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Cryptocurrency Courses for Beginners on: June 19, 2021, 04:58:15 PM
Just imagine how big of a help this is going to be for the newbies or those who still want to learn about cryptocurrency. It was never an easy thing to understand the process and the concept of crypto and as you get more knowledgeable about it, the more you can benefit from it. Sooner or later, we will see that in every corner of the world, cryptocurrency courses are already part of the curriculum. There will even be a specific degree about crypto which can help assure that the ones you will hire for your crypto business is a legitimate enthusiast and will contribute a lot for you.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, Dogecoin Gain After Musk's Tweets, But Will There Be Another Bull Run? on: June 19, 2021, 04:36:25 PM
Dogecoin, which started as a meme currency but received a lot of support from the billionaire tycoon in the past few months also gained in value. But this positive trend in the cryptocurrency market is no guarantee that it will see the bull run, which started at the beginning of this year, again so soon. At most, the value addition to the price of Bitcoin and other digital currencies over the past two days most likely seems temporary.

What are your thoughts about these 2 coins' future and is it possible that Musk will decide to the hype on something else also? Green coins are getting more popular. Why doesn't he mention any of them? Which one do you think needs such a kick?
Elon Musk has a huge influence and surely has lots of friends or business partners who are whales. If they decide to manipulate or play with prices of different crypto in the market, they could and it would be much worst if ever they become unified on doing such thing. Dogecoin and bitcoin both gained benefit from his advertisement but as time passes by, there are people who are able to get out of ignorance and his tweets loses its worth and many starts being unbothered on what he is doing. If ever he suddenly decides to abandon any of this two popular coins at the moment, we'll see if the value will go down hard all of a sudden.
396  Economy / Economics / Re: Aren't we the reason why BTC is becoming too much centralized? on: June 19, 2021, 04:05:48 PM
I think bitcoin is not being centralized as people gets influenced by FUD or commit panic selling, as you convert bitcoin into fiat, by then it will be consider as centralized as it gets converted into a centralized currency. Nevertheless, we should never tolerate falling into baits or FUDs no matter how big the influence of a certain individual is. You should make sure that your decisions are not based on assumptions or speculations alone, go ahead and work on it yourself so that you can have a firm decision when it comes to your investment.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think Bitcoin is great as an asset and not as a Currency. on: June 19, 2021, 03:37:56 PM
If you would really observe how bitcoin is being used by many for the past years, you can see that it is much better as an asset. As people hold their bitcoin, they gain more profit from it which makes them buy more and patronize it more. In the near future, we might even see bitcoin doing well as an asset and as a currency as it adopts to the changes the world is going through. Innovation will take place and a lot of things would be different and bitcoin becoming a legalized currency might be one of it so just keep on focusing on your investments always.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity and Privacy while using Bitcoin. Which one is the right word to use? on: June 18, 2021, 10:25:50 PM
I think you can gain benefit from bitcoin both anonymously and privately. I actually do not see any difference between the two. When you enter bitcoin, your anonymisity is ensured already. No one can ever know any personal details about you as long as you do not expose it explicitly. You do not have to worry about your security as long as you stay careful, it is one of the advantage of making payments in crypto. Some people such as criminals take this opportunity so that they can commit crimes and make payments with illegal items without having their identity exposed.
399  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do we do when a campaign is discovered to be a fraud on: June 18, 2021, 02:57:05 PM
It is actually unfortunate that most of the bounty campaigns right now in the forum are usually fraud or scams. It seems like they took advantage of the people's patronization on such bounty campaigns. During the reign of good bounty campaigns, all of a sudden a lot of scams and failed campaigns showed up. There are instances where bounty hunters ended up not recieving the tokens or earnings they deserve for all the hardships they went through to help the campaign or even if they receive it, it took so long. Let us hope the bounty campaigns will get back to how it was before so that bounty hunters will get what they deserve.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a bad time for altcoins? on: June 18, 2021, 02:10:07 PM
Why do I see legit coins with real utility and transparent, excellent devs not doing well but shitty meme coins just flying?
You cannot expect altcoins to keep on doing better consistently. There will still be time where it will encounters hardships and struggles specially if bitcoin is going down. Most of the time, bitcoin's value affects altcoins good run. Also, we should consider how well the developers are doing, they might be being irresponsible. It is a good thing that some altcoins are rising right now and those who took risk on diversifying their investment on bitcoin and other altcoins. Just wait, altcoins will soon get its spotlight.
