441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 03:19:22 PM
1. Check the overall contents of the project such as a team, road map, white paper, etc.
2. Check various features offered by the project such as privacy coins or decentralized coins.
3. Check how valuable the coins are or compare with other more popular coins. if the coins have potential, of course have a multi-professional team & the volume of coins always increases.
4. To be honest, the best coins to invest are the top coins or have been listed in the top 10 at CMC.
5. I suggest you invest in established coins rather than looking for very young and newly planted coins to invest.
I say this because I personally don't have a high risk appetite, so it's better to invest safely ..
how about you guys?
All of this are applicable to all the new ones and even for those who have been in crypto for so long. Before joining, it is very important that you pay good attention to the team, whitepaper and the road map so that you can check its credibility and see if the history of the time is good enough to be trusted. I also agree with the fifth one because newly established coins are still too risky to be gambled upon so it would be best if we play safe and invest on good coins with great stability over the past time.
442  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be rich..! on: October 17, 2019, 02:52:50 PM

When someone want to be rich they can't make it possible by working 10 to 5  everyday,so what are the things we have to do to make ourselves rich at the right age.

We need to have more income sources like four or five different fields to ensure our constant earnings even if one or two things get us into losses temporarily.Make your investment as early as you can then only you can start making money and remember to save it.

I agree. In this world, it is not usually on how hard and how long you work, it is on how smart and how wise you are on your work. You can even be a slave of a wrong mindset that you are getting rich by working on a company that constantly gives you the same salary each and every year. If you are really smart, you would engage yourself on investments that grows as time passes by and can double the money you have invested for you to be able to become rich someday.
443  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: October 16, 2019, 06:23:26 PM
How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.
I think the best way is by showing them the benefits and letting them know the basics of bitcoin. Tell them the difference of crypto and fiat. Make sure you spread sure straight facts because if you are going to dessiminate false informations, it will produce chain effect to everyone. Also, you can try sharing them your experiences and show some proof to make it more convincing and believable.
444  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: October 16, 2019, 06:04:10 PM
What do you think, how many people are ready to sell their goods or services on crypto? Let's say that we have service which help quick and easy to build online store and sell for cryptocurrency. What kind of reasons can motivate people to start a crypto business?
I think the use of cryptocurrencies even on small business would be a huge help for the market. It will encourage those people who don't have any idea yet on what crypto is. Also it can show them the convenience crypto can offer in many ways. Crypto is not like fiat but that does not mean it's not a risk when you try using crypto on your small business. Try thinking of the future, see if you will be successful or not about opening small crypto business.
445  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: October 16, 2019, 05:43:43 PM
After a year, a lot of lessons that we did learn. There are 2 precious things that I think I should remember:

+ Fear
+ Greed

I learned that from my teacher, he said when you buy Bitcoin at 10k, it's then $12k your greed rises inside you and you don't want to take profit and expect more. Then, the downtrend is coming, BTC goes down to $8k, you'll be scared to cut loss, and what'll happen, you lose more while BTC drops to $4k.

So, we need to set up your expected profit point as well as the stoploss point.

How about you, what is your lesson?
We have mixed emotions whenever we are investing in bitcoin. It can either be fear and excitement at the same time or can be greed and contentment coming together. The uncertainty and the volatility of bitcoin's value surely contributes on the way we feel every time we are risking large amount of money. We should be in control of our emotions whenever we are investing so that we won't make stupid decisions that will lead us to misery, disappointments and regrets.
446  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 16, 2019, 05:22:41 PM
Bitcoin was not made to spend. Not for now. There is a misinterpretation of what Satoshi wrote in the Whitepaper: "A peer-to-peer eletronic cash system". He created bitcoin to be an electronic money system. This is a fact.

Before becoming a monetary system, Bitcoin must be able to preserve value over time. After that, he becomes able to earn society's trust and become a genuine cash.

People accept dollars because they believe that money is still backed by gold (as it was until the end of Bretton Woods), or because (unfortunately) they believe the government will guarantee the value of the currency.

That is, people believe in Dollar because they are sure that money will be at the same value tomorrow. Although this is not true.

99% of the world's population still does not understand, do not know and do not trust Bitcoin. And everything is fine. Bitcoin adoption is a lengthy process that may take decades or centuries to happen.

Bitcoin has never been about just being a simple means of payment. It is not like VISA or Mastercard. He is a legitimate Digital Asset and as such needs to earn trust until it is adopted as money.

Do not spend your Bitcoins. Not now.
I definitely agree. Bitcoin has experienced massive crisis over the past year but that doesn't mean it wouldn't go back high once again. We need to be patient if we really want to gain large profits and great investment in bitcoin. Do not give up on bitcoin so soon, it has made history from the past wherein the price fell down so hard but still it was able to rise back up again. You just need to believe and be smart on your decision making.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! SO MANY PROJECTS !!! What 's going on ? on: October 16, 2019, 05:03:39 PM
New projects make good news of good things to happen
Are they all right ?
Or are they all just chanting slogans ?

REALLY!!!  What 's going on ?
If you know a good project ,NAME IT !!!
The continuous growth of the number of projects can either show progress or more failures and scams. We cannot really be glad that there are a lot of projects coming out since it can also increase the risk of being involved in scams or other unfortunate events. More choices, more risk but it can also be more choices, more chances of gaining large profits. Just be responsible on picking to avoid any uncertainty.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: October 16, 2019, 04:42:54 PM
I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.
I agree. Most of the ICOs are scams but not all of them. I have experiences which can prove that some ICOs can really be helpful and successful in some ways. If you've always been on an ICO that is a scam, then you would definitely conclude that all of the ICOs are scam. You should first be careful on picking which ICO to join and support so that you can experience and recieve good profits from it.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: October 16, 2019, 04:22:48 PM
The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.
We all know that the future of altcoins cannot still be predicted yet since there are a lot of things happening on it everyday. The rise of the new altcoins affects the present altcoins in either a good way or bad. Some altcoins are competing against each other while some just want to exist and help investors. We should be mindful on picking the altcoin we're going to invest with so that in the future, there will be no regrets, just pure contentment.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: 2017 vs 2019 on: October 16, 2019, 03:56:07 PM
Very interesting comparison that analyzes holding ETH in 2017 vs holding it today... https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/hodling-ethereum-2017-vs-2019/

Thoughts? I'm super happy to have swaped all of my ETH for BTC to be honest
It is indeed a fact that bitcoin is still currently at the top but if we are going to look at ETH, there's a lot of improvement that occured on it over the years. It may look very different with bitcoin since it experienced a huge crisis for the past year so I think it is not really a smart move to swap all your ETH for BTC. Bitcoin is still barely shining once again but who knows, maybe it would make you more genuinely happy soon if ever BTC regains its composure of being a great crypto.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we buy new token or coin? on: October 15, 2019, 04:29:17 PM
What is the most reason to buy new token or new coin, to trade it in the market or to spend it if there something to spend it?
I am talking here that token or coin already listing in exchanges.
And not tokens exchanges such as BNB.
What you think?
I think one of the main reason why is because we want to experience something new and together with it, recieve higher profits. We cannot be consistent on something that does not grow that's why we look forward on looking out for a new token that has higher rate. The amount of the tokens also varies that's why we try something new, so that we can gain much from the new ones.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ICO / altcoin scams? on: October 15, 2019, 03:32:54 PM
Hi, many people are still complaining how many ICOs ended up as a scam.
The cryptocurrency idea is to create a free worldwide decentralized ecosystem. Free for all, for honest but also for dishonest people. It is free market and you should protect yourself before losing your money. You donīt like it? Then you do not understand crypto.

We cannot really avoid such circumstances since ICOs are created with freedom in it. The best thing we can do about it is to be responsible on finding which ICO to trust. Make sure you read the whitepaper and view the history of those people running the ICO so that you can make sure that it is credible enough to trust.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 09, 2019, 01:03:41 PM
Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

I agree. Such things should be important in order for you to avoif getting scammed and at the same time, have a successful project involvement. You should not be attracted to luxurious promises give on the whitepaper, instead try to do a background check on the people running the project so that you may know the credibility of the said project. Make sure you understand the things being mentioned on it so that you can be aware of what's happening. Don't trust too easily, make sure they have good history background before risking on their project.

Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.
I think the first basic step on how you can get people into using bitcoin is by explaining the foremost knowledge he need to have before deciding whether he'll patronize it or not. Afterwards, you can try telling him the benefits he could attain and you're best experiences on crypto. Make sure to clear out the risk he may face as he gets in and if things work out, teach him the proper way of investing.
455  Economy / Economics / Re: Another good news for cryptocurrency in the Philippines on: October 08, 2019, 05:33:58 PM
Iloilo properties for sale accepts crypto as payment

These properties are owned by cryptocurrency proponents who believe that a conversation on making cryptocurrencies a viable payment option should start.

The owners are both cryptocurrency proponents, and told CoinGeek that they believe that a conversation towards seeing cryptocurrencies as a viable payment option should start.

The owners also said that another reason why they accepted cryptocurrency payments is because of their plan to have the proceeds from the sale of the properties allocated into a cryptocurrency investment.

Now that such great news came in, we will surely be able utilize the use of it more than ever. There are certain of places in the country thay allows the use of crypto already as mode of payment and by that, we can see that the people are being smart for they have great plans with their crypto investment in the future.
456  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: October 08, 2019, 05:09:44 PM
stupidity is so close to poverty, do you agree with such a phrase?
if it yes, means the poor are the fools.
I want to know your opinion.  Grin Grin
Not totally and not all the time I think. There plenty of people in this world who work their heart out each and everyday of their life but cannot escape poverty due to the corruption existing in the government. Farmers work harder than a person in the office but can you see how unfair it is when it comes to their salary? If you have all the chances to earn lots of money and you've let it slip out of your hands, then indeed, you are stupid and you are closer to poverty.
457  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin - Can it boost or break a countries economy? on: October 08, 2019, 07:43:10 AM
Most countries are in full control of their own monetary policies and financial systems. If a alternative currency is introduced, would this improve or reduce the efficiency of a country?

Will this remove their control or would it be just another payment option, like PayPal?

Why are governments so scared of Bitcoin, if they can regulate it's use. The first defensive tool seem to be banning the technology, which in my opinion should be the last resort. Should they not analyse the threat based on proper research and public participation. < like they did in Canada > and then make harsh decisions like this?

Why are they ignoring the advantages that this technology might bring and implement extreme precautions as a primary action?

Is Bitcoin really such a big threat to them or are they just misinformed on purpose? < influenced externally by people with hidden agendas >

Let's discuss this please.
Maybe it's because of the fact that bitcoin is decentralized currency and it will always be no matter what. That just simply means that they can't have any control on it no matter what. They can atleast put some tax within the transactions happening on it and regulate the use of it that it will not take over all the monetary transactions that are currently existing. Actually we cannot really be certain that it will boost the economy but if a country would legalize the use of it and promote it, maybe we can really confirm that it will be a greay help for the improvement of a country's economy.
458  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: October 08, 2019, 07:10:00 AM
because bitcoin prices dropped as a result no new rich people arrived suddenly. . . on the contrary, many people go bankrupt because they suffer losses ... haha haahaa
Well bitcoin is not the only source of income people can have. They can still engage on businesses and get rich sooner or later. Its just that bitcoin can promote you to the highest level in the society. Though that's the case, you should never rely your earnings from crypto alone, start finding a stable job or find a business if you really want to afford luxury and everything.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless altcoins must remove from the whole crypto market on: October 07, 2019, 06:26:15 PM
They just create some kind of hype once or twice in a month or week and make their profit with fake exchanges and forget about it, I am talking about the developers of those kind of altcoins which are not performing and these are totally waste for crypto market and also creating confusion for new people who are entering in crypto world so what's your opinions. Useless altcoins must be remove from crypto market if it happens then it would be great and very beneficial for crypto world.
There are lots of people who get involved on such useless altcoins since most of the people here are always after high profits. They experience high profits or hypes at the beginning of those altcoins and after just a few months, the project or the altcoin will be left alone and will go down to rock bottom but will still have the capability to stay on the market. This ends up to having investors mislead and to be confused if the such altcoins are good or fit for investment when it's not.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: October 07, 2019, 05:49:23 PM
what are your goals by investing? yes I think everyone wants to benefit from investment and trade. given the market situation is not yet fully stable, I'm sure you can still benefit from them.
I mean investing does not have to wait long, you can sell it at any time, when you see your coins above the initial capital price.

if you don't do that, you will starve!
I don't totally agree to this. I mean, given the fact that the market situation is not yet fully stable, you should be more strategic with your investments and trades. You actually need to be patient and have perseverance if you really want to benefit to the fullest on what you're doing. Holding your crypto is not a bad thing most of the time, you are just after the greater profit you want to have that's why you put on effort on waiting on the best possible time.
