521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What causes a person to become intensely addicted to gambling? on: November 29, 2018, 11:51:40 PM
because......

any choice in every bodies’ life is actually a gambling…

choose a wise husband from a bunch of boys is a gambling
choose a school to study is a gambling
choose a boss to work with is a gambling

so, gambling is addictive…

no one can escape...
In my own personal opinion, the things that causes person to become intensely addicted to gambling is money simply because we experience greed that we always want to win just to earn a lot of money. That is why a lot of people experienced addiction in gambling because they don't play gambling for entertainment they play just to earn money.
522  Economy / Economics / Re: Offline stores that accept payments using bitcoins on: November 28, 2018, 11:22:07 PM
Are there any of you who have offline business but accept payment using bitcoin?
No i don't have any offline business that accept payment using bitcoin. But there are now a lot of offline businesses who are now accepting bitcoin as a transaction payment like here in the Philippines because bitcoin is starting to get more popular today.
523  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you do when price falls? on: November 28, 2018, 10:34:05 PM
As you see, bitcoin's price felt from 6500 to 3700. From the very first day, there was panic and fall was very intense. In situations like this one, how do you act? Do you sell bitcoins, wait a little for more fall and then buy more with same cash? Or so you fully support bitcoin and hold it?
I ask this because want to know what community here does in such situations, do you do good for bitcoin or worsen situation?
All i do when the price of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency are falling, i always wait and hold my coin until the price all of it will start to increase because it will be my big loss if i sell my holdings in a very low price, that is why patience is the key.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019? on: November 23, 2018, 10:58:47 PM
What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019?

For no one it is a secret that this year for the ICOs was not the best  Undecided, but what do you think will happen to them by 2019?

Will it improve significantly?
My expectations for ICOs this upcoming 2019 is it will be a lot different than ICOs in 2018 because it will be much better, there will be more promising projects and there will be no failed or scam projects. Hoping that the market will raise all of it's value again because we are all expecting success this upcoming year of 2019.
525  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain technology is not a trend on: November 23, 2018, 10:43:50 PM
Talk to an average person, and 9.9 times out of 10, they’ll have no idea what blockchain is, with the exception of maybe Bitcoin. If they do know, it’s surface level details at best.

When a trend emerges, some people don’t want to wait to see how things play out — especially when there’s money to be made. Perhaps this story can be an example:

Remember the massive excitement Bitcoin last year? Speculative investment exploded. As the price soared, it gained public appeal. And legitimacy. And a lot of people made a lot of money, very fast.

Then the price dropped by 50%.

By the time Bitcoin’s value plummeted, it seemed like most people had lost faith. But that “lost faith” reaction really only happened among those who had jumped into space at the last minute, hoping to enjoy Bitcoin’s climb. People with knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrencies saw this coming— in some way, shape, or form. Active participants in the emerging industry were hardly surprised by the plummet in price that followed. These are “growing pains” that arise with any new technology.

Unfortunately, that patience was not widespread. Many people who jumped into the industry looking to make a quick buck ended up jumping back out at its lowest slump. They chalked their ill-timed participation as the fault of blockchain being a “trend,” opposed to looking at the long-term nature of what it means to build something globally impactful — and the rising (and falling) tides that come with such a massive undertaking.

This is why, as markets begin to recover (and they already have), and new variations of blockchain technology cement themselves into our everyday lives, everyone from general consumers to high-profile investors need to have a firm understanding of the tech.
It's true that blockchain technology is still not a trend because even a lot of people knew about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from social media advertisements, they still don't know about blockchain technology. I think blockchain technology will start to become a trend if everyone in the world will be having cryptocurrency or of the government in all countries will start to accept cryptocurrency.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in crypto? on: November 23, 2018, 10:35:37 PM
Hey guys, I wanna ask you a simple question. Do you still believe in crypto? Do you think it will strike back and we all will be rich? Why?
Yes. I still believe in cryptocurrency, even the market is red again because i think there are still a chance this upcoming year of 2019 that bitcoin and altcoins will recover all of it's value. All we need today is patience if we all really want to earn huge income once again.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto trading consider as a good profession? on: November 23, 2018, 10:30:23 PM
A lot of people are earning some good money in crypto trading. Besides a lot of people are losing some money also. Now I am pretty much confused. I want to start my career as a crypto trader. Should I start or should not?

Please share your thoughts and experience and help me.
A lot of people have become successful and become rich in crypto trading. I think it depends to the person if they consider crypto trading as a profession but if they really love earning money in cryptocurrency more than working in a regular job maybe it's their profession.
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do lot of people hate bounty dumpers? on: November 23, 2018, 10:19:50 PM
I've seen lot's of people who complain to bounty hunters who dump their tokens after they get them. Why hate them? They have all the rights to sell whenever they want and bounty allocations are only 1%-5% of the total supply of the coin. I don't think it will do much to lower the price of the coin. I mean it's even good for the ICO investors as they will have a chance to buy more tokens with lesser price than the ICO.

Holding the tokens also doesn't mean it will make you rich. Some tokens get abandon by the developers so it would be better to sell at a good price than be left hanging in the end.
A lot of people hate bounty dumpers simply because they don't earn from it, even they hold it for so long it has a low chance that it will increase it's price or will have a good value. A lot of bounty hunters after they recieve their rewards they start to sell it, that is why the price started to go down.
529  Economy / Economics / Re: If Facebook promotes cryptocurrency, would it positively promote it? on: November 23, 2018, 10:01:49 PM
To get Cryptocurrency generally accepted by the public, there's the need to have it promoted on some major social media platforms.
So I do believe that Facebook promotion of Cryptocurrency would give it to needed push for wide adoption.
I think even Facebook promotes bitcoin and other cryptocurrency in a positive way, there will be still a lot of people who will have a negative impact to cryptocurrency because they still believe that cryptocurrency is all about tricking people to invest their money with it or scam.
530  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: November 23, 2018, 09:52:51 PM
stupidity is so close to poverty, do you agree with such a phrase?
if it yes, means the poor are the fools.
I want to know your opinion.  Grin Grin
I think you are wrong. Being poor is not make you stupid because it's not their fault they were born to be poor. There are a lot of poor farmers in other countries, so what will happen to our supplies of foods if they start looking for a job in the city if they all want to become rich and successful. Being poor will not make you a fool sometimes being poor will make you more happy than having a lot of money because friends and families matters to you.
531  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money on a long-term period on: November 23, 2018, 09:44:24 PM
save money and buy things only from need, use money wisely avoid superfluous spending, invest what you can lose, and good luck!
Right to say that it is good way of saving money as we hold not spend more than we have, it is good to save investment, we should buy only those things we need the most and we cannot avoid buying it, use your money wisely is only when you invest your money and it will grow bigger because holding long term gives better profit than investing for short time without holding. So thanks for your kind words it they were useful to me.
To save some money we need to be more wiser especially when we do holding, while holding a long term is good but make sure it can possible to grow much more so will get good profit. Just choose coin to hold and dont waste your money by buying any coin that not worth it. To save more money buy only those coin like Bitcoin and Ethereum because this two is really profitable.
Being wise with your money will really help you to save it, especially if you didn't spend your money to the things that can be waste from it. You should only spend your money to buy the things that you needed. Holding is one of the things that can help you to save your money in a long term period because while your waiting for your holdings to increase it's value at the same time you save money and you earn more from it.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is looking all red once again on: November 22, 2018, 07:00:02 PM
Oh my, the market is looking all red so bad that can see nothing but the red all over the place.
What is the reason behind this massive market crash in the middle of this month of November?
Everybody is expecting another crypto boom by the end of this year like the last, why the crash now?

Since this year of 2018 bitcoin and altcoins started to have a low price, that is why a lot of people are just holding their coins just to wait for its price to increase. Unlike last year of 2017 we never experienced this kind of dump in the market and bitcoin reach its price to $20,000 and we didn't expect that this will happen. Hoping this year of 2019 all coins will have a great value once again.
533  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: November 22, 2018, 06:49:18 PM
I was questioned on crypto currencies legalization. I explained the facts happening around. Few received it with convincing reactions and few just ignored it. I really felt bad for the guys who did not care about crypto currencies as I really know the fruitfulness? I happily taught few others about crypto currencies. What was your friends expression when you introduced bitcoin to them?
The reactions of my friends when i started to introduced to them about cryptocurrencies is really great because i had encouraged all of them to try to invest their money to cryptocurrency for them to earn good money and to get benefits from it.
534  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you ever wonders why we are using this paper as money? on: November 22, 2018, 06:37:33 PM
Just want to share the details about the people who ever thinks that why we need to use just paper as currency and we all are working hard to get those paper.People claiming that bitcoin is not virtual so it cannot be considered as money or they call it as scam or ponzi but they are using just papers for centuries and those paper currency were made out of thin air.
We use paper as a currency simply because it is used as an material or to represent that it has value for you to work hard and to buy things that you wanted and needed for you to live . We use paper as a currency in a long time because it is hard to used things that is heavy to bring for you to buy things.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from your mistakes on: November 22, 2018, 06:29:34 PM
Every mistake has its lessons. When you make a mistake, there are three things you should do: admit it, learn from it and do not repeat it.
Ever since i had been in this space, i have only been used to bitcoin, ethereum, NEO, waves, tokens that use their platform and some other very common coins, but just this week was my first time of transacting fully on XLM platform.
I got a token that uses the platform of Stellar (XLM) and i was able to trade the token into XLM on their decentralized exchange.
My mistake came in when i was about to transfer the XLM, to be traded into BTC on another exchange.
I thought the process of transfer would be the one i had been used to, not knowing that i was supposed to include a "MEMO".
I eventually transferred it, waited for hour, but found nothing.
I was bothered.
It was in that process i got to know that memo was to be included. That was my mistake.
I admitted i had made the mistake.
The lesson i learnt is to always study every thing first (both new and old, because old things can still change), before jumping into it.
This mistake i have made up my mind to never repeat again.

I AM SHARING THIS FOR YOU TO LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES AND FROM YOURS.

Thanks for your audience.
If you really learn from your mistakes you will be able to have a successful life because you already know the right technique and strategy on the things that you didn't done right in the past, that is why it is not wrong to have mistakes because it will only help you to keep moving forward.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be contented on your bounty campaign rewards! on: November 22, 2018, 06:26:54 PM
As of now, a lot of complains I can read about some bounty hunters that are complaining about their bounty rewards. Some of it are not contented leading to making trash talk to the bounty in charge and to the team of the ICO Project that is sponsoring to the bounty campaign. To us, bounty hunters, it is a bit of a insulting that we have a fellow bounty hunters that are acting that way. Always remember, we are the users that are applying to the bounty campaign, and we already know about the rules of engagement, and we also are aware of the users that are signing of the campaign, as we can see on the spreadsheet. So many users, probably less reward! I hope the traits of the bounty hunter are like a professional one, and not like the whining child. If that is the rewards allocated to you! Be contented of it!

I certainly hope that this will put a arrow to the bounty hunters that are acting reckless and nonsense.

A lot of people are not contented with their bounty rewards because they waste a lot of time and energy just to advertise their project, but it will end up giving a small reward to the participants because they didn't reach the softcap.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be contented with what you have on: November 21, 2018, 10:58:36 PM
Slow and steady they say wins the race. Do not be in a haste to make it big in the crypto world. There is never a shortcut to success. Be contented with whatever you gain at every point in time.
Do not look down on yourself because you see others make it big. A drop of water makes a mighty ocean.
Your gain might seem to be small today.
Your portfolio might not look so big.
Just in a moment and with little more patience, your portfolio will see the brightest light and be filled above your imaginations.
I think it's true that you should be contented in what you have because if you don't you might have a chance to lose the things that you already have, so even you only got a few earnings today better have the patience to wait because maybe one day you might triple or gain more earnings in cryptocurrency or other things.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does panicking made you feel ease? Or depressed? on: November 21, 2018, 10:55:46 PM
When there are instances that when the coin you hold has turned to dumped hard, are you biting that move to panic sell all your coins? Do you feel ease that you sell all your coin when the dump starts? Or feel depressed when you dump your coins and turns out it almost x2 the usual price.

Panic selling make me feel down or depressed especially if the coin that i have sell started to increased it's price after i sell it, that is why even the market is red never hesitate to wait or to have patience for all of your holdings to increase it's value.
539  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: November 09, 2018, 06:44:59 PM
I heard Robert Kyosaki is talking about the crashed of FIAT CURRENCY? when this thing will happen? how are we going to respond?
I don't think it will be possible for fiat currency to crash so easily because first of all the government support fiat currency rather than cryptocurrency and fiat currency is being used everywhere all over the globe, so what will be the reason for fiat currency will be crashed.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how long will everyone can wait? on: November 09, 2018, 06:40:56 PM
Since january we all experience the red down lines
everyone experience this how long can you still hold your coins
and still hope for the best , are we waiting for another 3 years to reach the top
or we are now heading back to upward lines
Surely, a lot of people are getting tired of waiting for the price of their holdings to get up because since 2018 started the market started to fall down even the price of bitcoin decreased that everyone started to panicked, that is why they ended up waiting.
