801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bitcoin has role to play in the future? on: October 03, 2017, 04:08:27 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency that is fast, secure, decentralized, and which also has very cheap transaction fees.
Bitcoin has no border from one country to another that is why it is accepted all over the world.
Based on all these aspects, do you think bitcoin has a role to play in the future?

Share with us what you think? thanks Smiley

Bitcoin will really have a big role in the future because it maybe accepted by the government considering it as a legal curency and almost everyone will use it as a source of income then bitcoin will be the strongest currency that will help to improve the economy.
802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if China ban was temporary on: October 03, 2017, 03:57:36 PM
If that happens, I bet the price of Bitcoin will spike to its new all time highs. Sooner or later China will have no choice but to join the community of the future digital currencies.
I also think that china banned bitcoin was only temporary because it doesn't make any sense that banning bitcoin in their country that affects bitcoins price to decrease. I think china banned bitcoin temporarily is they would still like to join and use bitcoin.
803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is bitcoin on: September 27, 2017, 06:16:07 PM
What do you say when asked this question from a friend who has only heard its name mentioned a few times in the news and has no clue. I find myself lately taking the easy way out and suggesting google. I would prefer to give a clearer answer, but usually saying something leads to more questions and more confusion.
If someone could point me to a twitter type answer that would inform and twig their curiosity, i think it would be a better outcome.
In my own opinion, bitcoin is virtual currency that is can be only access using a computer and smartphones which needed a internet connection. Bitcoin can be consider a job because some people are dependent because of bitcoin which canhelp people to earn big money.
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: September 27, 2017, 06:09:11 PM
according to me bitcoin will ofcourse survive as for me in the next 20 years all cash transactions would be closed and online transactions would be made mandatory and this is were the leading crypto currency in the world i.e. bitcoin will come into play. Grin Grin
In my own opinion bitcoin, would probably survive and it will last for a long term as long there are still many people who uses bitcoin to earn bitcoin and countries who legalize bitcoin, bitcoin will still survive. In fact, bitcoin in the near future bitcoin will be the new global currency.
805  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: September 27, 2017, 05:27:45 PM
http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/02/08/philippines-bangko-sentral-recognizes-bitcoin-payment-system/

According to this article the Philippines’ Bangko Sentral Recognizes Bitcoin as Payment System. The article also added that Bangko Sentral states  sees the virtual currency’s potential to revolutionize the delivery of financial services. Additionally, they also mention how bitcoin provides financial inclusion, which is something traditional financial solutions have been unable to provide. This statements coming from the Central Banks of the Philippines will give a potential impact on the rise of bitcoins value on the market. And not only that, the Philippine Central Bank is not the only bank that sees the merits of bitcoin but also the the Central Bank of Nigeria.
I am from the Philippines and i am glad from that news. I think sooner or later maybe bitcoin could be legalize by the central banks here in the Philippines and i can used my bitcoins as a payment in every stores without converting my bitcoin into cash.
806  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: September 27, 2017, 04:19:53 PM
According to my friend preev.com, as of press time, the value of Bitcoin is standing at $2,351. Though I would say that this still considered as a feat, some are worried because it almost reached $2,800 again after the correction that happened days ago.

I have read that the decline can partly be contributed to newcomers especially neophyte traders who still have to be well-versed on the market...and can easily be ignited to do panic selling once they can fell that anything can be wrong.

Against this backdrop...are you holding on to your Bitcoin or transferring it into another digital currency?
Do not worry too much if you see that the price of bitcoin falls down because it is really normal and the price of bitcoin is not stable so it will actually fall down, so there are no reasons to panic. Even bitcoin will dump today i will still hold because in the next day it will recover.
807  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: September 27, 2017, 04:07:56 PM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Yes your right bitcoin, you cannot consider bitcoin as a gambling even you are investing a lot of money, you cannot still consider bitcoin as gambling. You are only taking a risk when you are investing money in bitcoin. There is a big difference between gambling and investing because when you gamble there is a big chance to lose your money but when you invest there's a chance of losing a little price of money but you still gonna earn.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you in the Christmas spirit? on: September 27, 2017, 03:57:52 PM
Last year, if I remember correctly, bitcoin spiked around Christmas time. It's that time of year again, and are you guys ready for some volatile action? Well I am!

I'm expecting the price to jump to almost $900. How about you?
That would be great if the price of bitcoins will pump this Christmas 2017, it would be the best Christmas present to all people who uses bitcoin, so there are no reasons for me to be sad. I am now getting more excited this coming Christmas season because of this volatile action.
809  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin for all levels of society, without any difference on: September 27, 2017, 03:42:00 PM
Bitcoin is decentralized so that whoever you are from wherever you are rich or poor, you are free to use bitcoin for any purpose. Bitcoin is freely used for anyone. anywhere

What is your response with this opinion?

Bitcoin can be used by different people of our society specially if you are capable to invest in bitcoin. Rich and poor can use it freely all are equal when it comes to bitcoin anyone can use it. It would only depend on the person on how he will use it.
I believe that bitcoin can really used by different people in the society but the problem is not all people are interested to use bitcoin and don't have any enough equipment to use bitcoin because some people don't have any technologies and internet connections to access in bitcoin.
810  Economy / Economics / Re: Is America a failed nation? on: September 27, 2017, 03:24:16 PM
YES:

USA largest debtor nation in history of human species
Obamacare ruined everything
Federeal reserve
0% rates
Eventual economic collapse or hyperinflation

NO:

What do you guys think?

No i do not think bitcoin is a failed nation because america is one of the greatest countries in the world so their no reasons that america is really a failed nation. America has a high level education and so many advance technologies. Even at the past America is not a failed nation they are still one of the greatest countries.

The truth is using bitcoin can really help you to become and I think bitcoin is the key to.become rich in the near future. As of now many people already become rich and we all know it is because of bitcoin. Lastly, I hope by using it I could become rich and I hope it would come true.
812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally legal in India on: September 26, 2017, 02:57:58 PM
"Suddenly, Bitcoin to Be Officially Legal in India"
posted Jule 20, 2017
https://cointelegraph.com/news/suddenly-bitcoin-to-be-officially-legal-in-india

Bitcoin exchanges in India have been able to operate but they have been self-regulating using strict Know Your Customer and Anti Money Laundering measures https://veratad.com/solutions/identity-verification/ in place. These areas will now fall under government regulation.

Funny side note--a member of the parliament in India likened Bitcoin to a Ponzi scheme as recently as March of this year. Pretty wild.
"In a letter to the Finance Ministry and the Reserve Bank of India, Somaiya explained that Bitcoin is a pyramid Ponzi-type scheme. However, Somaiya was criticized for his inability to understand the structural and fundamental difference between a Ponzi scheme and Bitcoin."

I never think that india would make bitcoin legal in their country and i am very happy about it. I wish that in my country here in the Philippines that bitcoin will be legalize and can be accepted as a payment in every stores. Good for india that they they legalize bitcoin, hope bitcoin will help them more.
813  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: September 20, 2017, 11:41:41 PM
I chose bitcoin because it is the bestest way to earn good money and to get rich, bitcoin is really a big help to every people who needs money that's why you need to choose bitcoin.  Bitcoin also helps you to pay all of your bills and to provide all of your basic needs at your home.
814  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: September 20, 2017, 11:04:31 PM
For the first time, when I look at the offers on LocalBitcoins.com, there are a half-dozen currencies ahead of the US dollar, offering a higher price for Bitcoin than US dollar users.

Euros, South African Rands, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Polish Zloty, Malaysian Ringgits.

It is no longer just the US, EU or even China driving adoption.  There is a market for Bitcoins in major countries all over the world.
Bitcoin is really becoming a global currency because almost everyone in the world are starting to use bitcoin as a source of income and to get rich. I velive that one day that the government will declare bitcoin as a legal currency so we could use bitcoin as payment in  every stores.
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: September 20, 2017, 10:55:52 PM

I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.

Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.

I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.

Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?
In my own opinion, it's a big no because china is not the center and not the reason why bitcoin is created that's why there is no need to panic if china started to ban bitcoin in their country even they are the reason why bitcoins price decreases in the past weeks and as of now bitcoins price is now recovering.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: September 20, 2017, 10:29:29 PM
I maintain that per these definitions, Bitcoin cannot possibly be described as "money". And further, I think that those who do describe Bitcoin as "money" are doing this community a disservice.

+1 agreed.  It's a commodity, a digital store of value.

I also think that bitcoin is money because you can use bitcoin to buy stuffs and to pay bills that's why many people are using bitcoin as a source of income because it is a good way to earn money and use it as a transaction. I believe that one day bitcoin will be the new global currency and it will be used by everyone in the world in the near future.
817  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: September 20, 2017, 10:22:04 PM
I called around some stores to see if they accept BTC, no one has even heard of it except like 0.1% of people.  Wait till people actually find out this exists...
You could really waste a lot of time finding people who accepts bitcoin as payment, why won't you hust exchange your bitcoins into real money so you could buy the things that you wanted. There are still many people who don't know about bitcoin because bitcoin is very invisible in some countries.
818  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: September 20, 2017, 10:11:57 PM
Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh
I don't have any savings from now because i need it to pay my tuition fee in college that's the reason why i save my bitcoins so i could pay my tuition fee in college. I also used my savings to buy the cool stuffs that i wanted without any hesitate. Saving your bitcoin is a good habit because you can really buy the stuffs that you want using your savings.
819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: September 20, 2017, 10:04:53 PM
I See topics about banning and I want to ask.

Is botcoin really that bad? To banned by other countries?
Do the other government in other countries see something bad?
Can bitcoin be used to locate us?and see what we are doing? In short a Spyware.

In my own point of view, maybe the government in other countries ban bitcoin because maybe they think bitcoin is a bad thing to make as a source of income and thinking that bitcoin can use for illegal activities, so it turns out for banning bitcoin and it will also affects in deceeasing it's price.
820  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: September 20, 2017, 09:51:42 PM
If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?
Bitcoin is getting more famous every month because many people advertise it to other people and almost everyone in the world are knows about bitcoin and uses bitcoin to earn also bitcoin or money, so it is really possible that bitcoin could be a international currency in the future and we don't have to worry to convert our bitcoins into cash so we could buy the things that we always wanted.
