I wanted to participate in the Iagon pre-sale.  I joined what I thought was the official Iagon telegram.  Turned out it wasn't.  I followed the instructions on the pinned message, which directed me to send ETH to a specified wallet address.  Turned out it was all a scam, and I lost 5 ETH.

Really sucks.  The lesson is be careful out there.
I feel bad to you. Lesson learned that you should check everything first if it is official or not before you do something. Always remember that there are a lot of scammers today, that is why it is now hard to trust everybody when it comes to money.
583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: June 30, 2018, 05:33:15 PM
If Gambling was not introduced then many people have to do the hard work for earning money.
In my own personal opinion, if gambling was not introduced i think everybody are working hard in their jobs, so they could earn to provide all of their basic needs. And also people are not taking a lot of risk in just to earn a huge profit.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life with a Gambler - Solution! on: June 30, 2018, 05:28:53 PM
My partner was a gambling addict for many years, and I put up with it as much as I could for many years. We had talks about it. We had fights about it. Sometimes we went for weeks without speaking to each other. Many times after promising to quit, she'd quietly go back there and lose more money. The children would stay up until late into the night waiting for their mother to come home. Where's mommy? They'd wake up tired for school the next day. One night after she came home, something inside me snapped. I had enough!! I told her to get the F out of my house and to take all her crap with her. I told her that I'm going to divorce her and take the house and the kids. I told her that I have copies of all her bank statements showing how much money she's been squandering at casinos and that no judge in his right mind would give a gambling addict custody of the children, besides she was always broke. I was seeing red and I was fully prepared for the ugliest divorce and custody fight ever. Do you know what happened after that night? She quit gambling. It's been 6 months or so since that night, and I have to say thanks be to God for answering my prayers and bringing this whole ugly problem to an end. I've never been that angry with her before, and I guess that is what she needed to see before she quit. I showed her the brick wall that she was heading for and she slammed on the brakes.
Nice story, I really enjoyed. I have also a friend who is regular gambler and I also visited with him for many times, but I just look out and never gamble because I have no experience of gambling. I have never seen him winning big money and took it to home, he always lost and not only he but all other gambler also lost money. Only the owner of the place collects money.
I have also experienced going home without any winnings in gambling and i get really upset when i lost all of my money in gambling, but i do not get addicted in gambling because i only play when my friends just ask me to play. Only my friends who are a regular that almost every night they play in the casino and always expecting to win a huge profit.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: June 30, 2018, 05:01:42 PM
Will you encourage others to invest in crypto and explain to them that this is not a scam or a pyramiding activity?
Yes i will definitely encourage others to invest in cryptocurrencies especially my close friends and family, so they could start earning huge profits with it. I will also explain to them that cryptocurrencies is not a scam or a pyramiding activity it is just all a false news in social medias.
586  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: June 30, 2018, 04:43:24 PM
The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary. Smiley
In my own opinion, people starts selling their bitcoin when the price starts to fall down, that is why it continues to fall down. Also, there are nany countries started to banned bitcoin and there are some false news about it, causes bitcoin's price to decrease.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The way to win in gambling on: June 30, 2018, 04:34:13 PM
Hello guys, I guess the most essential thing in gambling or every field is "The way of thinking positively "  Roll Eyes
Believe me guys, our minds does not differentiate between positive and negative thoughts or messages. and It only implements what we think.

So when you tell him " I can win this game,  I will win a great value of money in casino" ( Positive energy (+) ).
Then  your mind will implement these ideas, therefore, you will achieve what you want and it is certain that you will win at casino.  Wink

And when you tell him "  I am  a  loser, I cannot win any game,  I am unlucky .." ( negative energy (-) ).
Then your mind will implement these negative thoughts. therefore, you will lose in all games.

We must exploit "The power of our minds"  .

"Your positive action combined with positive thinking results in success"
                                                                                                                     Shiv khera

What do you think guys?  Wink
It is true that thinking positive in gambling will help you to win in gambling because you will have more chance to have a good luck to win. Positive thinking will also help you to avoid greed in betting that is why you will have a less chance to get addicted.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: June 30, 2018, 04:29:24 PM
I play gambling many times and i still do not find any success in gambling because players won't get any benefit from gambling. Players do win a huge profit but it won't last long they will still lose all of it in gambling if they still play. Only the owner of a casino and dealer who get success in gambling not players.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time? on: June 30, 2018, 04:23:12 PM
Guys do you think bounty are campaign wastage of time because of we take particiapate in bounty campaign it take 2 to 4 month time the end up and after end the bounty campain it would distribute the token after more 1 to 2 months.
So isn't wastage of time? After taking token you dont know what is the value of token or it is available in exchange or not.
In my own personal opinion, joining in bounty campaigns is risk because you cannot say if the campaign is successful or not. But it doesn't mean that bounty campaigns are just a waste time because even it takes 2-4 months you will still earn profit with it, you just need to believe.
590  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: June 30, 2018, 10:56:45 AM
Most probably in this section are users that are interested mostly in Economics, so I want to know why Economics attracts you?

Economics will help you to understand how the economy grow and better understanding in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies when it comes to the economy that is why many people goes to the economy section. We must study economics especially in universities because it will helps us to manage our money and will help in our businesses.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: June 30, 2018, 10:37:27 AM
The forum is full of topics - “When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $...”, “Why BTC is under $...?”, “Final bottom at $...”, “Why BTC is down again?”, “Bitcoin will rise again ?” etc. The last two topics may appear in various forms  a dozen times a day.
I looked at graph price of BTC out of curiosity. I have noted to the price floor:

2015 - $200+
2016 - $300+
2017 - $700+
2018 - $5000+

Do you see something frightening in it?

We all can see that price drops because of actions by a Governments and big whales. Because they have the means and opportunities. They want to break into the our market on advantageous terms for them. Okay, well, I mean, that makes sense. We knew it would happen. But why that have to affect us?

In December 2017, the most people said - "Why I didn't buy BTC for $500… for $1000… f#ck it!.. for $2000...", "I will definitely buy BTC if it costs $7k-6k!..". But now when the price drops so well for us, we see "The demand for BTC is dropping". Seriously?!

So, instead to take advantage of the situation, buy up coins and altcoins, attract new people in crypto world more active than before, a lot of people stuck in indecision and think whether crypto market falls to the bottom and stays there.

Guys, are you serious? Crypto world is made by us. Governments and big whales haven’t any tricks to rule our world. It will happen only if we do nothing.

What do you think about it?

In my own personal opinion, people are moaning about the price of bitcoin because the price of bitcoin starts to fall down since 2018 and they wanted to increase its price again like last year. People just got upset that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies don't have a good value anymore and hoping that it will increase again.
592  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering ? on: June 20, 2018, 05:35:29 PM
Do you think bitcoin is going to reach june rates soon ?
Not everything that we expect to happen will happen like the price of bitcoin that we expect and think that it will increase in this year of 2018, but we are all wrong. Holding our bitcoins until it increase is the only solution for us to earn huge profit again.
593  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: June 20, 2018, 04:12:40 PM
I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?
In my own point of view, today there are many good hackers everywhere, so even you store all of your cryptocurrencies in the greatest wallet i think they could find a way to hacked it and steal of your cryptocurrencies. Just always be careful and avoid giving information in any of your accounts to untrusted people for you not to be hacked.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How was your experience in joining bounty or airdrop? on: June 20, 2018, 04:06:37 PM
Hey everyone!

I am very new to joining airdrops. I just wanna know if you had experience joining into some ICOs but did not receive your expected tokens? Or what was your first tokens that you received?

My first received token was very rewarding experience, still counting other and tracking my airdrops atm.

Can you share some of your experiences about this matter?

thank you!
Well my experience in joining bounty campaigns is better than airdrop, even airdrop is easier than bounty campaigns because i am not earning huge profit in aidrop unlike in bounty campaigns i am earning huge profits.but i am still enjoying in airdrop like in bounty campaigns because i am still earning.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone forgot the key to their bitcoin wallet ? on: June 20, 2018, 03:46:36 PM
The only measures to retrieve private keys back at this stage are the very measures you provided yourself. Lose them and there is no way to ever retrieve your keys. There have been many cases of people losing their hard drive used for backing up private keys and those bitcoins are lost till date with no means to retrieve them back.
Your definitely right. You are the only one who can retrieve your private keys and no one else, so for you not to lose them just find a way to keep them hidden like in your notes. Private keys are very important, so never lose them no matter what happens it is good that you will create a lot of copies of your private keys.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: June 20, 2018, 03:29:58 PM
do you experience that after losing on gambling that you thinking you will quit gambling for good and never come again to gambling but then next day you are already positive  that you could win in gambling?

that happen to me a lot when i lose in gambling but a could never leave gambling. Cheesy
Yes i have experienced quitting in gambling after losing a huge amount of money in a casino then the next day i can control myself from playing gambling everyday without going to the casino. I only gamble if my friends ask me to join with them but i do not lose a huge amount of money anymore.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: June 20, 2018, 03:19:59 PM
A lot of people wonder what is the criteria of a good gambler, here are some of my thought about good gambler

a good gambler never chase profit
Profit might be the first reason why people gamble, but a good gambler never attached to the profit, the most important thing in gambling is excitement and fun experience, having profit is just the bonus

a good gambler able to control himself / herself
Self controlling is very important in gambling, without a clear mind there will be a lot of mistakes in betting and even causing reckless betting and losing all of the money in split second

a good gambler know when to stop
Setting a limit is very important in gambling, setting a lost limit will prevent you to over spend your money and setting a win limit is  also important because in the long run the house got a bigger chance to win due to the house edge

a good gambler never cause any problem to the surrounding
A good gambler know that the chances of losing money in gambling is huge, so a gambler should never used daily needs money or borrowing money to gamble, and a gambler should never think of robbery or stealing to gamble

a good gambler can accept lost
When losing a good gambler won't blame the surrounding, cursing or accusing the  casino as fraud places, losing is the half part of gambling, if you can't accept lost then dont start to gamble

a good gambler should able to manage the time
A good gambler know how to split the time for family, for friends and for gambling, a good gambler never neglected family or friend just because of gambling

We must encourage people to become a good gambler, so people won't always have a bad judgement about gambler
All of these thoughts is really a criteria of a good gambler and i think it will be helpful to every gambler for us not to be judge by other people that playing gambling is not bad if we just follow all of these criteria of a good gambler.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: June 20, 2018, 03:13:40 PM
I just read one article that's about math can help you win at roulette game then i want ask with you all, did you believe math can affect to gambling games? i'm not expert in math so i don't know

this is the article that i readed.
http://theconversation.com/can-maths-help-you-win-at-roulette-69440
In my own personal opinion, i think maths cannot really help you in gambling because gambling is all about luck and chances, so the only thing that can help you in math is statistics. I really believe that gambling is just all about luck not in techniques and strategies.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: June 20, 2018, 02:46:29 PM
If you have a high tendency to not stop until busting, then I came across these tips which do help:

  • Don't put all your available bankroll directly in the game (in case you're using deposits). Leave always at least half outside as a security measure if you go bust.
  • One must stop after reaching a certain goal, The goal should be predetermined and shouldn't be changed during the play.
  • If you're doing really good, withdraw part of your earnings (if you can, ofc) to avoid losing it all in one go.

Having a big bankroll can make you feel falsely safe in that "oh I'll just keep increasing my bet until I win" but alas, the 30 reds in a row do exist, and will come. Do not let them take it all.

The goal you make should be realistic and firm, Don't change it or else be prepared to face bad consequences.

You gotta fight back the voice that screams inside your brain "Come on, double again and we recover!".
Based on my experienced, i know when its time for me to stop if i have already win or lose several times because its a sign that its already my limit. It is good to teach yourself to know how to stop when playing because you will get addicted and lose a lot of money.
600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: June 20, 2018, 02:22:15 PM
Selling btc is not considered as stupid decision. It depends on the price and the necessity of the person. If the price of the btc is high, it is possible for the person who have btc to sell what they have. It's up to that person who owns the btc, so I think there's nothing wrong or stupid with it.
Your definitely right that selling bitcoin is not considered as a stupid decision because it depends on the person if he wants to sell it in a low or high price. Selling bitcoin is a risk that is why it is not considered as a stupid decision your just taking risk.
