121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: July 25, 2021, 09:38:05 PM
Bitcoin did lose a lot of momentum after the first quarter of the year, and I think price has found some support which is its lowest low of the year, I don't see it breaching downwards to go as low as $20,000.
If you have been following price, we have seen some positives happening these past few days and you know when it comes to bitcoin when it's in a trending market this happens for some time, am just looking forward  to a bullish trending market maybe we can see $50k or $60k.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I Predict $20,000 for dogecoin in 5years time on: July 23, 2021, 09:50:38 PM
I challenge dogecoin to hit a dollar otherwise that $20000 will never happen..dogecoins supply is just too high to hold such a high price. Should it happen by any chance it means bitcoin is likely to be trading at over a million dollars. Bit where is all this money going to come from.?
123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I get a loan? on: July 23, 2021, 07:49:05 PM
The thing is when you get a loan it will come with a time frame in which you need to pay it back plus interest, whilst here bitcoin has no time frame whatsoever its taking its time to rebound to $60k its all time high. So if you are going to get a loan it has to be a non interest loan which you can use to buy more crypto coins but i think your portfolio looks good already.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: July 23, 2021, 06:19:00 PM
It's a good idea but I think movies without the owner to tell the real story end up giving a fictionalized story. I have seen several TV series try to talk about bitcoin and I thought they all missed the concept of how bitcoin works, now imagine a movie being done. Its a gamble worth giving a try it could endup being a blockbuster.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin vs binance Coin on: July 23, 2021, 04:33:55 PM
There are currently many coins in cryptocurrency, including light coins and binance coins. But now Binance Coin is take very good position than litecoin. Can you think litecoin  also overtake binance.
The are two coins in different worlds, the only thing we can compare about them is their crypto position and block times that's it. But if we had to, Binance is more superior in spite being the younger coin it has more usefulness like serving other coins on its blockchain and it now has one of the biggest crypto communities for its coin and as for ltc all I can think of is its a store of value.
Binance coin needed to be compared to coins like Ethereum, waves etc.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the next bubble? NFT! on: July 23, 2021, 02:57:09 PM
I don't understand how the NFT ecosystem  works,  do you like get tokens to represent them or these are web based and if I want to see some of your art , I need to have the crypto key to see it?

So many defi projects are now focussing more on NFT development as everyone likes to take advantage of the latest market craze
Defi for me is still the best and afaik they are bigger, better than NFTs too. NFTs could be new but not a lot of users know or use them as compared to Defi assets.

a meme coin can boom in the market at any point giving its holders profits up to 40x e.g hex token recently did a bubble-like movement.
Meme coins are being relevant because of Musk, once his done with his dogecoin tweets these won't hold.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 23, 2021, 02:45:43 PM
In this season, Manchester City are highly the favourite team for the title of course. But this time, I expect a bigger competition between them and the big clubs like Manchester Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool. This time, it may not be that easy for City to reach the title. They actually had some difficulties at the beginning of the last season. But they made an insane comeback and won the title comfortably.
Manchester City may win the EPL trophy this season. Although, is won't be easy because other big club are building their squads with young talented player. And also Manchester City have to sign Harry Kane to replace Sergio Aguero. They really tried last season, despite their difficulties they faced as the beginning of the season, they bounce back, with massive force and won the EPL trophy. I expect them to do more better this season.
Why are you guys saying Manchester City to be the favorites?? Do you have information that makes them the team?
Chelsea a team that beat them twice and denied them their first UEFA trophy could be on that list, Leicester City have made some reinforcements which should put them in a position to contest not forgetting Manu and Liverpool.
Honestly the best time to get an idea of who is likely to win is in December around boxing day, not when the league isn't even started .
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: am i the only one expecting the market to be worse than this? on: July 23, 2021, 12:13:40 PM
Guess what Elon Musk tweeted and spoke of the Tesla resuming accepting crypto payments, SpaceX company holding bitcoin and Elon himself holding Ethereum  and price was bullish in no time.
I guess things aren't as bad as we paint them to be, it won't be as worse as we think , price looked like it would continue being bearish after crossing $30k but it recovered and now trading above $32k.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if influential people buy Bitcoin back and forth? on: July 22, 2021, 06:49:24 PM
That's what bitcoin needs at the moment, we need influencers to step in and give crypto some rope so that it can grow. Imagine if we can have Jeff the Billionaire say something nice about bitcoin,it will be bullish in a second . But with how this are some influencers are quiet about crypto because they don't want the government to take an interest in them.
130  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 22, 2021, 03:24:35 PM

^ Good to know, they are very generous to their users and there are always promotions and giveaways that will be given. This will surely a player will stay on this site because of these promotions and giveaways. However, I am a little curious about the streamer that you have said, probably it is good if you can drop here the link. Nevertheless, a gambling site that has always been like this will surely long last and gamblers will never get tired of playing because when their wallet is empty there are so many chances that they could get free BTC through participating promotions.

Here is the link to the youtube channel of Xposed: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0U5sBczEr2ASp4T6hSLvag

He is sponsered by Roobet and gets a free refill of his balance every day. He can keep 25% of his winnings and 5% is distributed to his viewers.
I also like the many promotions that Roobet is doing, but it would be nice if they could offer like a deposit bonus also.
Xposed is usually active on twitch than YouTube, if am correct content is prerecorded unlike twitch where he does his live streams,, I advise to follow him there.

Am I the only one facing challenges visiting Roobet website today? Tried clearing my cache both on PC and mobile still site not opening, tried using a different browser keep getting " This site can’t be reached"
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: July 22, 2021, 02:25:07 AM
You have 30,000 dollars in bitcoin, that's your hard earned money  but you choose to get into a giveaway that's suppose to payout to you,you go as far as paying them..just how does this qualify to be a giveaway? Let greed not take the best of you, temptations are high and everyone is looking for a quick buck.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binomo scam? on: July 21, 2021, 09:11:39 PM
Never heard its name before so don't know much. If we see reviews about this website then I don't think it is worth to use because many people are complaining they are not able to withdraw their money.

Source: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/binomo.com
No to sound like am picking a side but I think we customers don't know how to handle issues and also lack patience!
Sometimes issues could be as simple as answering yes or No but we rush to claim a service is a scam. Reading the review on the left side clearly you can see that it seems a withdraw was delayed to be processed but this users kept playing and later lost his money, could this really be called a scam, I don't think so.. all I can say is let's have some patience whenever we have a problem.

133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Ethereum on: July 21, 2021, 05:28:44 PM
Hello.

do you think it's a good time to invest in Ethereum?
Ethereum is like at its current low since we saw it make an ATH and for all I know price usually comes back to break its high and am banking on it to do the same, just not sure how long we have to wait.
Do I still think it's the right time to invest in eth, yes I do and for some comfort let's remember it's the second biggest coin so investment to push it up shouldn't be far away.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding 5 years a just a imagination on: July 21, 2021, 04:43:20 PM
If you are going to invest a fortune in a coin then chances are high that you won't hold this long as  the risk is increased over time.
If I use bitcoin as my reference, people bought btc when it was worth peanuts and imagine investing only $200 by now that's worth a lot. With today's coins it's really difficult to get these kind of ROI that bitcoin has produced.
All I know is that for newer coins it could even be difficult to get a 1000X and I will say holding for 5 years is imaginary.
135  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Why so few mining farms in NORWAY on: July 21, 2021, 05:55:37 AM
Something interesting I found online https://www.business-standard.com/article/markets/nordic-region-bitcoin-s-green-haven-is-running-out-of-surplus-electricity-121041700536_1.html outlines some of the reasons being tied to growing concerns of carbon emissions.

And according to article above the Nordic region does have mining activities going on, guess they aren't just public about it...
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Convince me that bounties paying in anything other than Bitcoin are worth it on: July 21, 2021, 05:43:34 AM
Let's understand the primary goal for having these bounties is marketing the project and helping it grow organically in the future.

Now one fact about today's projects is they are totally different the first generation bounties which were introduced to us without clear plans of an exchange listing, today we have IEO which have secured an exchange listing and made sure you aren't getting shitcoins for the work you put in.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market situation is deteriorating day by day.. on: July 20, 2021, 10:05:00 PM
The crypto market has clearly shown us that whoever has the most money controls the markets and we know the big investors have that kind of money such that the small investors ( retail traders and everyone of us) can't compete or move the markets like they would. So if the plan of the big investors is to short the markets they will keep selling till they make money off us. It may look heartless but they call it doing their jobs.
138  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining is illegal in China now? on: July 20, 2021, 07:31:34 PM
There is too much information on the internet  which is becoming confusing.

From what I have read China is putting a stop to bitcoin mining because of the high carbon emissions that come from most of the bitcoin mines and its inland electricity production that use coal to produce it.

Simply put they have banned high pollution ways of generating electricity, could we still say bitcoin mining is banned?
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know if an altcoin is a scam? on: July 20, 2021, 07:16:50 PM
These guys that create fake crypto projects are actually very creative, and it takes an experienced eye to pick out these flaws.
Some of the obvious things you can look out for are :
  • Whitepaper has to be original,  not copied from another project.
  • Team members have to be real people, some regular video footage is a must as scammers link real profiles to these projects to look genuine
  • when it comes to new projects these need to have a clear road map of how they will grow their project, which exchanges they plan to list their coins etc
  • huge premined coins are a red flag
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are all altcoins dependent on Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2021, 09:49:51 AM
I want to understand if all altcoins are built upon the foundation of BTC. This is because when there is severe crash of BTC, all other coins, I mean all, also crash.

Is there no independence in the cryptocurrency world?

Thank you!
Connected in terms of price, I would like to think so especially those with smaller communities because when bitcoin is affected with some news and it crashes or pumps, other coins do follow but not all the time.
Then there are times some when bitcoin is going down but some altcoins are reacting opposite which says they aren't dependent on btc.
