441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Maximum bet amount on single bet! on: July 30, 2019, 10:33:56 AM
I think this forum has lot of regular gambler so I am interested to know how much they ever spend as highest bet amount in very single bet.
Honestly it all depends on how bad my losing streak is and bank roll is on that day but I usually bet small to minimise my loss because there is no guarantee of winning.

I think this forum has lot of regular gambler so I am interested to know how much they ever spend as highest bet amount in very single bet.

My highest single bet was just over 2 BTC but that was when BTC was worth just over $200.
If you still play like this I bet you are a high roller
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be legally accepted in every country in the next 10 years? on: July 29, 2019, 09:49:09 PM
AFAIK Bitcoin is borderless and really does not need to get the node from a third party to be used...and the fact that it's decentralized makes it an even better option to use legal or illegally so honestly this really doesn't change anything as people can use it whenever they like,it's not like a bank account that someone can lock you out of it.

Today i had try all of three options speed and apparently there is no different for those three that most of them still too fast to me but my latest bet was run well that i could reach to x15 payout from my initial bet

Today I tried to win in crash game on 110x payout, I succeeded with that:

Winning with such a big payout is a nice feeling, regardless of your initial bet. That's what I like gambling  for, the feel it gives when you win betting with very high odds. That's why I rarely bet with low odds, I don't want the opposite feeling. Smiley
Nice one, with windice everyone is a winner Grin
But Funny thing about betting with small amounts is you can try all those impossible odds fearlessly and come out as a winner and the moment you decide to go big is the moment you run out of luck, gambling is weird sometimes.

Congrats on your new game, just trying to get a hang of it.

This reminds me of some retro games back in the day but that's a story for another day.

Getting back to CRASH why am I getting confused with the number system of the game...looks like we have multiple multipliers with the game...
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best time for promoting bounty projects on: July 26, 2019, 09:54:25 PM
The best time to promote bounties are on altcoins season ,if you are tired of one delay after the other just quit till altcoins season returns ,this is the reason why 2017 was the best year for bounty hunters
The best time for bounties is when bitcoin is doing fine on the market.

2017 is a typical good example of when and why bounty hunters were rewarded well but the best time is still to come.

447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale revisited on: July 26, 2019, 08:29:35 PM
Another classic example of the "Gambler's Fallacy", a streak of reds doesn't increase your odds of hitting a green and likewise. All events are independent of each other, making it impossible to draw conclusions from one roll to the next.
All gamblers know the feeling of waiting for that luck to change in their favor with that next roll but never happens.

If we are to conclude if these strategies do work, I would say all they do is leave a trail of red without ever recovering from that one next roll.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What messenger do you use to chat with your crypto gambling buddies? on: July 26, 2019, 07:27:34 PM
I pretty much use almost everything there is to communicate with my buddies because we have different tastes of what really works or feel comfortable to use but overall the people who really understand cryptocurrencies are all here so I don't really need to restrict myself to some platform when bitcointalk is here  Roll Eyes
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges that would list your coin for free or a very small fee? on: July 26, 2019, 05:39:11 PM
If its going to be a centralized exchange then it's better to have one that charges a small fee for its service because they will be obliged to do some house keeping job on the exchange like taking down scam projects etc

While we expect decentralized exchanges not not require such upfront fees as they are run by smart contracts etc

If it is not shit exchange, it does not matter. More exchange is not considered negative by anyone, on the contrary with more choice it will be easy to find the appropriate one. On the other hand, listing in one of the top 10(except hitbit) keeps you alive.

"except hitbit" do you mean except HitBtc?
This is one awful s exchange, I doubt it that they will ever change for the better

-snip-

What's shocking is that none of this is shocking to me anymore. I think when Mt Gox happened and people finally understood how it was possible that it could happen, that might have been the reality people weren't prepared for: that people running these crypto businesses were completely unprofessional.

You'd think things have changed over the years, and they have. The great crypto winter weeded out projects that weren't managed well, but the few sectors of industry that continues to display such callous attitudes from the owners are exchanges, custodial services and lending platforms.

What makes it that these people get more and more money, and data, and become more and more reckless with how they store it?
I guess they never learn!

If professionalism is what's lacking then people equipped with the skills to handle the ever growing numbers should be employed, people who understand the crypto ecosystem and know the consequences of not handling this data properly.

And am curious how did data scientists find themselves in such a  position of exposing private data.
451  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: So Coinbase & Blockchain.info were the first web-hosted wallet? on: July 25, 2019, 09:38:32 PM
For non-custodial web wallets, blockchain.info was one of the first to market, but the first IIRC was StrongCoin, their announcement thread is here:

And without this thread I certainly would never have known about these guys, wounder where they disappeared to.

And if memory serves me right isn't local bitcoins a long serving wallet provider despite being mainly labeled as a p2p exchange...or it doesn't just fit in this category.

When you got mad Manny run Floyd run run Cheesy I’ve heard some rumor that coach Freddie Roach and Chavit Singson (one of a kind multi-billionaire on our country philippines) that they want manny pacquiao to retire after his last fight against to Keith Thurman.

Could we see another fight for Manny and Floyd??
You know what I think, for the right price the money team is game!

But am not sure if Floyd is a fan of rematches which pretty much gives me the idea that this fight is never going to happen!

And reading what's above the multi-billionaire could put an end to Manny's career with a good pay check if he agrees to their terms, it's all about getting the right price.

Not so much information about your transaction, and we don't know what transpired...

But the best people to help you with this are the PayPal support team...and you can first initiate a chargeback to get them to help, good luck.
454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran legalizes mining on: July 24, 2019, 12:12:12 PM
This is quite a bold move and not only beneficial to the crypto community.

If all goes well in the long run they will be inviting more and more investors to relocate to that place and also give other industries like the energy sector an opportunity to open up as a result of this development, just hope electricity tarriffs are competitive.
455  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Choose your lucky number 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: July 24, 2019, 09:12:12 AM
It is already on 102 million and that ain't fair to all other casinos out there, you guys broke the 100m just recently and already had another 2 million on top of that, it doesn't seem like slowing down and you gonna have 200 million in like 2 months at most (probably not even that much) which is an awesome achievement and I doubt anyone has that quick betting numbers, you are just way too good.
You predicting another 100 million to happen within the next 2months....I think this can be broken way before this time frame, maybe a month because they achieved this with a small number of users and this number has grown.
Now think about what double the number of users can do to make this milestone happen....am counting down for this to happen within a month.
456  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-18] 12 world leaders. 12 opinions about crypto. on: July 23, 2019, 08:18:20 PM
Lucky enough for bitcoin and it's users it does not rely on a central power or someone's opinion despite this having some influence.

But what's even more confusing is some prominent companies in some of these countries have adopted to use cryptocurencies but their governments indirectly deny their people from using these coins...

What's really the meaning of these crypto statements Huh
457  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Affected by bitcoin Copy paste address on: July 22, 2019, 04:42:55 PM
a more better solution is to format your PC and reinstall OS.
I will suggest to do this and if I was you then I would do that. Just format and reinstall your OS
Am hoping OP has a partitioned hard drive at the least to save any  valuable data but for an alternative solution before you proceed with formatting try malwarebytes to disinfect your computer system. Even the trail version should work.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new kind of scam in telegram using gambling site on: July 21, 2019, 08:21:15 PM
How did you get to start a conversation with the fellow in the first place probably he connected you through a group you are on.

Good question!

But if I would guess, the scammers might have harvested user ids from a public telegram group and sending out these texts or whatever it is they send trying to find people that will fall for their scams.

Side note, the easiest way to avoid these people is tighten your privacy settings to private messages from people not your friends.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread on: July 19, 2019, 10:23:12 PM
Congratulations to Algeria winners of the 2019 edition of the Africa Cup of Nation. Algeria wins without losing a single game. Senegal gave in all their best but couldn't equalize the early goal scored in the 2nd minute. Man of the match award goes to the Algeria goalkeeper. Mane (Liverpool) did all he could but once again falls short to Manchester city (in the person of) Mahrez. Congratulations to all Algerians.
Yes the algerian goalkeeper, Raïs M'Bolhi, made the algerian victory I think.

That's unfair of you to say!

It was a team effort and everyone did the defending....maybe even packed the bus because they created less chances for themselves...or is this low scoring margin because of the competition ??

What do you know, Algeria are leading Roll Eyes

And with the agency of Senegal are in I am expecting a Red card in this game with the challenges been thrown at them by the Algerians.
