261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: February 27, 2021, 02:09:02 PM
Other than bitcoin price going up, transaction fees have also gone up which makes bitcoin gambling expensive and unattractive atm,if I must say am actually gambling less these days.

And because of what's happening with bitcoin prices, We have been left with no choice but play with other coins like ltc, tron ,dash, usdt trc20 and a whole list of coins that won't break the bank.
There is also an issue of casinos pegging your balance to USD value upon transaction getting confirmed which makes it pointless to use btc as you lose out on an soaring prices of BTC.
262  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: February 27, 2021, 01:28:15 PM
No we can't live without them because they help bridge certain services with the people we interact with from crypto to fiat and vice versa.

Other than that banks make it possible to get financing be it an over draft or loan which enables us to buy the crypto we love hussle free.
In fact, the amount of extra capital should be deposited in the bank because there is more security. Your capital will never be deducted from the bank and in addition you will get interest from bank. However, if you want, you can avoid the bank and for that you should set up a large business where you can deposit all your capital.
I do agree with you when it comes to security but it certainly comes at a cost, which leads me to say Banks do charge maintenance fees depending on account type ,this applies to interest money gets for banking with them.

263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will satoshi make a altcoin, giving us a second chance to get rich? on: February 27, 2021, 10:33:00 AM
over 10 years have passed, clearly the man loves his privacy.

To comeback today all because he wants a new altcoin I don't think so, his already achieved the bringing of cryptocurrencies to life and that's what matters at the moment.

Besides we have too many brilliant minds around the world that have brought quite a number of good crypto projects to life which I don't see satoshi doing, so we doing fine if you ask me Smiley
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's become hard to understand altcoin movements. on: February 26, 2021, 06:11:59 PM
The rules haven't changed!

We still buying low and selling high and if this is in connection with the recent drop I honestly think we should all have expected a correction to happen after the bull run.

Going forward if we have to give ourselves the edge over the market we need to learn how to read charts to better our trading skills, waiting to ride the wave of bitcoins success isn't enough.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 26, 2021, 05:38:49 PM

Tottenham have a really terrible form despite their solid performance in the Europa League against Wolfsberger in both games. Burnley haven't been losing for 4 games. But I think this could be the time Tottenham will be the winner and pull themselves together in the PL too.

It has indeed been a poor form for tottenham lately; but if they are unable to convincingly beat relegation battlers Burnley at home; then there is a big crisis for Jose Mourinho and the spur sides. They are slipping away from champions league and europa league spot; and if their form does not change; they could be off the mid table by March
At this point I think Tottenham players are just tired and knowing the ego Jose has he will not play certain players because of one or two reasons or maybe he simply doesn't just like you, we have seem this happen several times which is why I admire the Peps rotational game type, which is yielding results! At this point I think Spurs has to much on their plate and the best they would do is direct their resources towards the Epl inspite the champions league being the more lucrative one.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone bought BTC at $6K yesterday and the exchange wants them back on: February 26, 2021, 01:10:42 PM
This sounds almost like a bookie quoting 100 odds for a Barcelona win against a weaker team and you bet on this which plays out in your favor but after the bookie realizing this mistake you already withdrew these funds and they request for their funds back.... man this issue you have at hand, I honestly think you don't owe the exchange any dime, but that demand later interprets something different from what actually happened....
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: February 25, 2021, 09:23:56 AM
Yes Atalanta deserved more than that. They were able to stand Real Madrid attacks with only ten men and it's very sad that because of a referee mistake this game couldn't be played fairly. Ref jeopardized the whole game.
Will Atalanta be able to build from here and get a just revenge in Madrid? That would be great!
Refs have always made some bad calls and spoiled the game but teams have been able to turn results around in their favour.

On the other hand what we saw last night Atlanta should still have fought to stay in the game and not laying low to show displeasure of the refs unfair decision, this is the champions league that away goal will haunt them, hope in their next fixture the won't come with kid gloves at a grown ups meeting.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk twitted - Doge on the actual MOON! on: February 24, 2021, 11:35:32 PM
It's interesting to see that every time Elon tweets about doge or bitcoin what follows up is a pump of those coins but that tweet in the OP could mean crypto is going to the moon like literally speaking or crypto is about to be pumped, his done it before and he might do it again.

Besides all these moves being recorded as positives, I hope that him being a whale won't lead to market manipulation .

-snip-
Anyone that take win for Southampton this time will only be at big loss, in the last 8 matches, no win, only 2 draw and lost the rest which means they lost 6 matches. In fact they are not playing good at all. It will not be good if they are too relaxed because the clubs below them aside West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United can pickup more than expected, if this so, very possible for Southampton to relagate, the bad chance of relegation is slim but possible if Southampton do not pickup.
West Bromwich are definitely packing and a surprise team that has failed to put up a good fight without any display of effort is Sheffield, hope this under performance isn't a way of getting rid of the coaching stuff, but that aside....for the the likes of Southampton I think they still have some fighting spirit left in them and not forgetting they have some big names in their team that can change this nightmare, if we look at the remaining games well relegation is not on the cards for these guys, the know how to win games and will come through !

New week, new games.

Tuesday 23rd February
Atletico Madrid 20:00 Chelsea

It is often stated that league games has not effect on players performances on the champions league; and this is something am sure Atletico are banking on; The madrid side has every quality to trump and beat Chelsea tonight; and i am counting on them. A 3  - 1 Victory for Simeone boys
I don't agree with you! Why do I say so.. simple, usually the last league games are usually played 2 to 3 days before a UEFA fixture, which means if players play a game of 90 minutes the effects of this means under performing in the next game(UEFA GAME) because of fatigue or if they lost the team might be low on morale.

If you are a pundit you would know that history has shown that big teams usually draw or lose before these games as they usually rest their star players as they bank on getting a good result on match day. With this said  league games HAVE AN effect on players performances on the champions league!
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Instutional imvestors are Here wall street Style of action Now on: February 23, 2021, 04:25:38 PM
We thought we had whales back then who would manipulate the market, but with all the hype crypto has created... We now have market manipulators with deep pockets on board who will shakeoff any weak hands in the market & fall in their trap.

If you take some time to look at the charts right now, clearly those big bearish candles shows institutional players at play and not retail traders and there here to get liquidity at the bottom and spring back up....#wcykoff_trading
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: SmartCredit DeFi lending solution from Swiss bankers on: February 23, 2021, 10:10:55 AM
Interesting Project you have here, just a few questions....

In terms of Fixed-term loans and Fixed interest loans how do you account for aggressive crypto price fluctuations especially in instance where price drops, does the borrower have to pay the fixed amount of  crypto or pegged value ?

274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 22, 2021, 03:20:55 PM
After being a scared cat for so long, you decide to buy some crypto at k56  just to fit in...

now today you decide to look at your crypto portfolio and to show off but that dip on the charts makes you to start seeing things such as logo ressemblace to an empty wallet. jeez signal given, that cant be the future!

Sometimes crypto teaches you to have a big heart, happy trading WO

Seems like the bubble that was created to keep people away from crypto was popped and it's clear we have no resistance whatsoever judging from all these positive headlines about bitcoin, not forgetting the different players of various industries are all signing up,which is a win win for bitcoin and the crypto ecosystem.

278  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deontay Wilder: He makes another WILD conspiracy theory about his loss to Fury on: February 19, 2021, 10:55:44 PM

279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We should not buy outdated and overvalued coins on: February 17, 2021, 09:39:58 PM
Quote
Outdated and not innovative coins so far:

- Bitcoin Cash
- Bitcoin SV
- Cardano
- EOS
- Tron
- NEM
Talking of outdated, I thought you would have coins like dogecoin in there which was almost left for dead until Mr Tesla happened but surprisingly I saw one of my favourites "TRON" in the list which is shocking tbh.

With the soaring prices and high transaction fees nothing from the top coins comes close to TRX because you won't be paying over $20 in fees or waiting for several days for a single confirmation so there is some usefulness for this crypto if you over look the team, vision etc
