221  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Cloudbet⚡️| UCL Yellow Card Prediction | Guess and Win USD $750 in BTC on: March 10, 2021, 10:14:33 AM
Does yellow cards in overtime counts?
AFAIK when it comes to gambling football only accounts for 90 minutes any extra time played is another market

Does red card count for anything?
No it doesn't, we playing the yellow card market not the red market but technically two yellow cards result into a Red card.

224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum to 100k? on: March 09, 2021, 04:52:15 PM
$100K is way too far for ethereum, we should be talking of 5k or $10k and if we consider the high gas fees we usually face I don't think we going there any time soon, it just doesn't give the masses confidence & a reason to invest in it!
Though there talks of the EIP 1559 project which is promising to address high gas fees this could make ethereum bullish once implemented.
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: If the FBI wallet with 141,000 bitcoins was stolen what would happen? :o on: March 09, 2021, 05:08:20 AM
There are thousands of bitcoins in the hands of the FBI, how they securely store bitcoin?
Being among the holders of the biggest bitcoin stash I know they don't hold these coins on a centralized bitcoin wallet  like the bitcoin.com wallet, this has to be a cold wallet away from prying eyes and most importantly away from hackers playing field.

At the current price it's worth more than 7 billion dollars!!  Shocked

If the FBI wallet with 141,000 bitcoins was stolen what do you think would happen with the bitcoin price?

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/35hK24tcLEWcgNA4JxpvbkNkoAcDGqQPsP
One thing is certain you can't sell all these coins and go unnoticed! But like we saw Elons Musk 1.5 bitcoin buy saw bitcoin bullish.. now imagine what 5 fold could do if sold...obviously its a big crash in crypto prices but being the FBI the coins obviously in safe hands and no need to imagine things.

Just one thing where did you get this address, seems active

226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 08, 2021, 05:42:29 PM
-Snip-
The dominance of Spanish clubs in the Champions League is gradually passing.
Yes, I have the same view as you. Barcelona and Real Madrid are the two team that previously dominated the UCL, but for this season I see the Spanish team as if they only have a few chance to qualify for the semifinal even though at the moment Real Madrid have a chance. Barcelona who lost big to PSG could only enjoy the other team reaching the final, I think, but I am sure they will win in the second leg even if there is little chance of qualifying.

As much as we are saying Spanish teams have dominated, I honestly think this trend has been broken , and if we analyze current games to be played  Barcelona is already in a near impossible situation against PSG and by the way lets not write off Bayern who seem to always improve with every season and  talk of Real Madrid who were winning almost back to back because they had a special player in the form of Cristiano and this time around they are just an ordinary team because they don't have players that really can turn things around.

Overall we can say Spanish dominance is over, today Several teams have stepped up, talk about Bayern Munich, PSG who are on a quest to win it for the first time,so is Manchester city so much quality going on with the said teams and this is where my money is.

228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: March 07, 2021, 09:19:15 PM
Things I consider when picking an altcoin:
- Is the coin listed on an exchange either cex or dex doesn't matter.
- Does the coin have any token burns(these stimulate price to rise)
- I also put into consideration the coins market cap (coins in circulation and supply)
- Not always but I also look at the blockchain the coin is using as this  gives me a hint on what transaction fees to expect

For newer coins I have to check if the project is unique and likely to survive, check team behind the project and any known companies in partnership with the project etc
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run is over? on: March 07, 2021, 08:06:06 PM
Bull run not over, markets as at now are just finding a way to get liquidity to push price up, so any weak hands will be formed to panic sell to the sharks and in no time price will be hitting or breaking it's all time high and for the year 2021 cryptocurrencies have had a fair share of media coverage, imo I see more first time users boarding the crypto ship which will contribute to having a bull market.
230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading signal work or not? on: March 07, 2021, 05:38:03 PM
I just want to join paid crypto trading group..anyone pls tell me ,this type of group doing scam or not?
Paid groups come in two forms, there are traders that know what they are doing and will give signals based on what the chart speaks to them and there are copy cats that will copy free/paid signals and post them as vip  signals and in the long term you will lose your funds so I might say there are legit and scam groups.

and does it work?
Yes they do but you won't always win trades! The best you could do is learn how to trade as an individual, not an easy journey though, good luck.

Someone help me understand here...Israel Adesanya was challenging for the light heavyweight  championship as he was bidding to become a two division champion (light heavyweight + middleweight) but how did the bookies have Israel Adesanya  to be the favourite for the match against defending champion Jan Blachowicz in the light heavyweight division?
I know it was a close match  and it would have gone either way but wasn't Adesanya out of his element Roll Eyes anyway better luck next time Israel 🥊
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Services of betting on your behalf on: March 07, 2021, 05:29:22 AM
You lost me here mate neither do I like the sound of this, by betting on your behalf do you min something like account management? If that's what you getting at....are these not the same people that also claim to sell games in the name of fixed matches??

TBH I have a bias when it comes to such, anything that has account management for me is scam as I had a similar experience with forex and things didn't go as planned!

234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin would you Buy now and Why? on: March 06, 2021, 08:33:56 PM
I don't own any of the coins listed in the OP but my strategy now is to buy coins that do what ethereum is able to offer like its smart contract capabilities,as I see things turning against it when crypto adoption is at its peak and everyone will be moving their eth tokens at a high price which will force most people to find cheaper alternatives which makes coins like tron to be the perfect investment.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 06, 2021, 01:57:30 PM
Some good games in the Premier League today to win some extra money from betting.Arsenal should have an easy win against Burnley and I also strongly believe that Sheffield United can win their game because recently they have been better than Southampton.
Don't count your chickens before your eggs hatch! Premier league games don't always go according to script but I see Arsenal winning though am doubtful if Sheffield would do the same against a Southampton side that I fancy winning as they will be desperate for a result.

Arsenal has started strongly and this has made them taken an early lead over Burnley, I think the feel they should be winning games and that's the mentality Manchester city has, aubameyang is now scoring more, it's a good feeling in the Arsenal camp, I think they would win Burnley.
The certainly have found some form, hope the hold this lead!
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trade on these exchanges hotbit, stex, kucoin, crex24 and tradeogre? on: March 06, 2021, 03:41:51 AM
Do you exchange on these exchanges?
Now that you asked I just realized I use kucoin  quite too often, hotbit once in a while the rest on the list is once in a blue moon.

I have some mined shitcoin listed on them and I'd like to exchange them soon
Kucoin has a reputation for listing some shitcoins based on my experience but hey if they have some value isn't fair not to call them shitcoins.

but I don't know if these exchanges are legit or scam. Did you guys still use them?

Kucoin has been around for awhile and I can surely root for these guys and their fee structure is among the best among most the exchanges we have today, you can see that they even have the shitcoin coin listed  Tongue lol thats just me getting carried away, which shitcoins could this be

239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if a stable coin fails. on: March 05, 2021, 07:37:50 PM
Hi,

Just a novice question here: what happens if you hold x amount of a stable coin in one of the many lending crypto platforms available (crypto.com, youhodler, nexo, etc) and that coin fails and goes Kaput? Do you loose it all? or are your assets moved to another token or FIAT?

X number of coins won't change, the quantity remains the same but what is usually affected is the value and I want to believe this is where your question was drawn from.

FYI the nature of stablecoins is different from most of the speculative coins we have, like the likes of bitcoin, SCs these are pegged to other financial instrument/assets like fiat or a precious metal so technically price can't go to zero so don't worry too much buddy Smiley but if were to happen like that then your coins we be valued at zero.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Insane Gas Fees on: March 05, 2021, 04:34:22 PM
I plan to transfer DEGO tokens to my wallet, and see how much it will cost me for fees alone. This is driving me crazy  Sad

This is outrageous!!
Are you just sending these coins from one account to another or interacting with a dex because personally I have had issues with uniswap and paid more money on gas fees than the value of the token....ever since this happened I have avoided these decentralized exchanges. Our ethereum devs need a lasting solution before this gets out of hand
