Did you try localethereum
Never heard of this one  Roll Eyes

Have a look around the currency exchange section  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 you might get good rates, if you don't get anyone to trade with try use localbitcoins.com or paxful.com (N.B for lower rates you need a varied account=KYC)

Binance hack, Self inflicted or it didn't happen at all?
Self inflicted nah, I would like to think there is some form of sabotage to try and disrupt the upcoming Binance chain which might give ethereum serious competition once it's live. But it's to early to come to a conclusion.

Why always 7000 BTC ? lol
I dont know what happen, why someone can transfer 7000 BTC in single transaction? binance limit 100 BTC withdrawal if you a verified users.

If truly Binance was hacked, then may the 7000 BTC was transfer to several wallet at the same time but i doubt it, Binance is hiding something about the whole issued. It is good that it didn't affect bitcoin price unlike last year hacks which actually act as one the bear's instrument.
Binance now has an emergency fund to compensate it's customers if a hack or anything happens, so the exchange can't really affect the price of bitcoin...our funds are covered.

This is what we get for a decentralized ecosystem and nobody gives a damn in a business venture that is raking in millions and is not really answerable to anyone! I guess regulation does make a major difference, we need it if we are to survive this .

So, it's official - Griezmann is leaving Atletico Madrid after this season. And guess from one time where he will move now. I'm not sure why, but as a fan of Barca I'm looking a bit sceptical towards him. I have fears that story of Coutinho can repeat again...
Does that mean that Griezmann is going to sign for Barcelona? I have missed some news there, lol.
I think that he is going to be a great fit for Barca's squad because he is fast and likes first-touch passing as the majority of Barcelona's team do. I wonder how much money they are going to spend for him.
From the news buzz going on everywhere it looks official that this lad is leaving!
Just Saw a confirmation twit on the Atletico Madrid twitter page. It's official next season we seeing the MSG attack force destroy teams.
Can't wait to see how the new signing helps Barca go the extra mile when it comes to champions league Smiley

Coutinho rumours are coming in strong any news ?

665  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-15] Microsoft Picks Bitcoin to Create a New Identity System on: May 15, 2019, 03:32:15 PM
It's always big news when big cooperations show their support of the blockchain technology, this is a sign of endorsement. WAY TO GO, MICROSOFT!

Quote
Microsoft is developing a Bitcoin-based decentralized identity system that aims to significantly improve privacy, security, and control while achieving tens-of-thousands of operations per second
I don't want to put a blind eye on this, but the last few words kind of sound a bit mocking because we all no bitcoin is not at that capacity of processing that many of transactions in a second, so what's the interpretation of this ?!
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA...WHAT HAPPENS NOW ⚽⚽ on: May 15, 2019, 05:53:51 AM
Manchester United already won the right to play in the next season of Europa League.
How did they make it? Thought the premier leagues 5th sport is reserved for the Europa slot, how did the Red devils make it??

2018-2019 Premier League table[QUALIFICATIONS]:

1⃣ Manchester City - Champions League
2⃣ Liverpool FC- Champions League
3⃣ Chelsea - Champions League
4⃣ Tottenham - Champions League
5⃣ Arsenal - Europa League
6⃣ Man U - ❎❎❎ Roll Eyes

667  Economy / Gambling discussion / ⚽UEFA...WHAT HAPPENS NOW ⚽⚽ on: May 14, 2019, 07:38:59 PM
So I was doing some thinking of who qualifies to next year's most prized soccer competition putting into account that both the champions league and Europa league finals have an all English teams final. All this has led to some unanswered questions..

So my question(s) is: if Arsenal win the Europa cup...they automatically qualify to next year's champions league, so does this mean 5 teams could possibly make it to the champions league including the top four ?? If this gets to be the case does Manchester United get to play in the Europa league as arsenal will be playing in the champions league and they secured a Europa slot??
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dump the alts on: May 14, 2019, 04:48:12 AM
I'm not here to spread FUD before you start throwing accusations at me. I'm just saying though, Bitcoin is increasing in price, and it's probably a very wise idea to sell your coins and hold BTC at this point. I'm however not referring to alts like ETH, Tezos, LTC and the other solid ones out there. I'm mostly referring to the projects that have not followed the roadmap and didn't manage to deliver and let's be honest, there are plenty.
Failed or stray projects are a no go, 100% support this!

Quote
Probably anything not in the top 15 in CoinMarketcap is not worth investing it (with few exceptions).
Top 15 I beg to differ!
The opportunity to profit from the top 100 is there and FYI we have over 2000 coins and still counting, you wouldn't want to limit yourself to the 15 because there are plenty of great projects out there which are doing fine.

Quote
And apparently, there is some confusion within the community about price increases in CoinMarketCap and people think that everything is going up right now, which is not the case. The green numbers you're seeing in the price page don't represent much. If you click on the coin though, you'll see the price in Satoshi... that's the one that should be increasing.
I will go will what I have always known, anything showing green means its gained and doing well.
669  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will happen if BTC hit 1.000.000$ on: May 13, 2019, 05:16:05 PM
hi guys
if BTC hit 1 million $ in the future what will happen
If ever we get to have such a price for each bitcoin, it means people will use much robust security systems and maybe guard their wallets better than we do today.

do u think we will see more hack news
Not a single chance, this is a million we talking of

More violence and criminalization of bitcoin holders by governments
Violence I doubt it, people will be millionaires! Criminalization from the G man yes because of unremitted taxes....

Any events we will see ?
With too much money circulating there is a Possibility of inflation I guess

671  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: May 13, 2019, 01:35:41 PM
If several regulated fiat currencies such as the Zimbabwean dollar or Venezuelan bolizar can be rendered useless, then I obviously think btc can go the same road if say something triggers it and there is panic selling.

But if you think of it bitcoin being worthless at this point its almost impossible because "one man's trash is another man's treasure", so if I choose to sell because it's worthless someone who believes in crypto is patiently waiting to buy the dips which guarantees a healthy price!
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: May 13, 2019, 10:05:48 AM
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but as of 2019, waves is still not as popular as ethereum and many other altcoins set to put ethereum out of business have joined the race, and today we have alts like stellar, nem, tron, hot and many others which have tried and failed!
Maybe we have to wait a couple of years to see this dethroning, other wise eth is going strong.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is crawling on: May 13, 2019, 09:29:58 AM
After Crypto price generally wakes from its slumber, ethereum have been crawling and no significant growth as been recorded, it seems to me that it raised hope and dashed it after reaching 200 and slide back , fluctuating between 160-175 . what's really happening mates. Bitcoin gave grow exponentially from 3000+ to 6400 today
TBH it seems ethereum is only being used for its smart contracts which is initially it's purpose  and people are using less for it for everyday use like paying for goods and services, so what's happening is other alts on the ethereum blockchain are benefiting from any of its progress and leaving it with scrubs to feed on. Those times of altcoins going up because bitcoin rose seem to be fading.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Sites to use Bitcoins on: May 13, 2019, 06:48:04 AM
List of best Gambling Sites to use Bitcoins can be found here: http://topbuki.com/spisok-kriptovalyutnyih-bukmekerov/
I don't think i can trust that list because Betcoin.ag is at there, betcoin has a history of not paying the jackpot winner, you should probably check the profile of betcoin.ag here.
At the time it could have been a good gambling site but if you look at the OP several companies from that list have closed down and neither has it been updated because the thread opener has not been active for over 3years.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play at a casino where payments are delayed for days? Why? on: May 12, 2019, 11:00:35 PM
DAYS.....I wouldn't dare, such is the thing of the past in today's world.
Any service that compromises on convenience by giving below par services such as delaying payouts to their customers should be avoided simply because this negatively changes your mood and you become frustrated, it's lost opportunity for where you could have used your funds or winnings.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect your digital coins? on: May 12, 2019, 09:44:19 PM
To protect my coins I use:
  • Adblockers to prevent me from being lured into a trap which might lead to being phished
  • use metamask to block unverified crypto sites
  • Use 2 factor authenticator for login protection
  • I never reuse passwords
  • Never click unknown links
  • I always double check any copy paste crypto addresses to make sure clipboard hasn't been hijacked Cool
  • most importantly never share private keys with anyone not even your shadow Grin
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Care of security and don't store your coins on exchanges! on: May 12, 2019, 07:57:33 AM
-zip-
Never store more in exchanges than you actually need for buying other coins.
A crypto hack can also happen to big exchanges
for the purpose of  storing coins, an exchange has never been an option but then again people who lose funds because an exchange got hacked never have the intention of holding them there, it could be that they have long term buys or sells which were set some time back then happened to have been excuted...and crypto then seats in their exchange wallets awaiting owners withdraw.
Let's not forget people are now making a living off crypto.

The crypto article you would like to see our expert team write next!

Inspired by this article , I have tried out many casinos out there and I have honestly found very little information about how to play some of these casino games the right way because the instructions are not clear enough for first timers. If am to be a winner like Leohand some tips and pointers in the blog section of how to play some of these slot games will be helpful.

- Another suggestion Will be to start from the bottom which is basic security , this is usually over looked but a guide from an experts standing point will be an eye opener to many on the best practice to protect our crypto assets and everything relating to this category. A problem shared is a problem solved, no more getting hacked!

679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont be dumb gamblers on: May 11, 2019, 08:18:06 PM
My friend recently get scammed by a gambling site which he found by continuously browsing. On internet.
It should be a good idea to tell your friend to install an adblocker  at this point as it looks like he followed a bogus site

Sorry but even he cant remember the name so i cant tell you but here's what you wouldnt do. He said he was searching about how cryptocurrency gambling work. He is much aware about bitcoin but not about using it for gambling. He find some "yellow botton" he said which offers gambling for newbies and the rest is history. Goodbye $200 . yes thats kinda bit small but should you wait that it happened to you with a bigger amount? Here's what you would do.
1. Dont click and browse non recognized site to avoid phishing.

Wouldn't agree more but another solution would be using a good web browser..Some web browsers like yandex usually warn of any possible phishing potential from websites which could save you from this loss.

Quote
2.. Always ask first the people on this forum whether the site is legit or not.
It's easier for forum members to find legit websites using this method but for the general public out there it's all a matter of due diligence.

Quote
3. Dont put too much money on that site so if ever its really a scam, the amount it can get is minimal.
4. If it looks really legit, try some few games with few bets at first.
This doesn't solve the problem of avoiding a scam Roll Eyes because anything greater than a zero is a win for the scumbags.

Due diligence is the premium answer to not getting scammed.

Being cautious costs less than not being aware at all. Dont let our greediness and dumbness takes over our financial life. Be safe people.

680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people but bigger bets in sports compared to other type of gambling? on: May 11, 2019, 07:18:01 AM
Going big with bets on sport is attributed by the fact that this type of betting is more about skills and a good reading of historical data which gives the punter more chances of winning, unlike other betting games which are purely about making your own luck, the houses winning edge etc.

I think people also find sports betting more fan and  easier to understand than these other games.
