I've noticed that there have been many addresses requested but not so many paid up. That only leads credence that there is a lot of smart money coming into this project but because they are smart money they'll only be investing at the end. I like that.. Hell yes keep your account and use it with VIRAL long term and you will be way better off then dumping it for a one time buy. It's only common sence, I personally would rather wait long term to stack up profits then just make a small quick hit. However many people are just interested in the quick hit only and will take whatever they can get.

Those two sites you mentioned are cool but the only thing similar with VIRAL would be that people are paying to post messages on your profile for small bucks one hit style, when viral is long term repeat hits all across the entire network that will grow daily.

There are a total of 5 million Viral. 50% of the coins are sold in the crowdfunding and the remaining  50% will be sold in the ICO. The amount of BTC invested in the crowdfunding determines how much 2.5 million Viral are worth (price discovery). The ICO price will then be set at 30% higher than the discovered price of Viral, thus rewarding crowdfunding investors.

In addition, crowdfunding investors enjoy a range of other benefits, including:

 - Private voice chat channel hosted by Adam Guerbuez and community managers
 - First mover updates on new opportunities within the Viral ecosystem

Viral requires a solid back end to function. This is our current priority and we are focused on assembling the right set of components for that. We are currently a team of 5 persons working together on everything from marketing to programming, and when the discussion came up of devoting someone to build out a splash website in advance of the main website, the conclusion was that it was not the best allocation of resources time-wise.

We have presented the ideas of Viral clearly and concisely in our rather detailed OP. Perhaps not as splashy as a nifty website with bells and whistles, but as Adam noted last night, we are currently frying much larger fish programming-wise. Adam is making himself available every day here on the thread, in his hosted teamspeak channel, and is also getting out the ideas of Viral in radio shows and to the tech industry at large.

There are several very interesting details of the project still to be finalized, for example, the process through which Viral will be regulating its own coin supply. We will look for community involvement on some of these beginning next week, via a working dialogue with the initial crowdfunding investors.

Well even if the OP is very detailed, someone like Adam should know that a website would be a big marketing move for a nice presentation of VIRAL to the public! If the project is aiming to be as big as it is described then a website would be the least VIRAL team could do for the crowdfunding and ICO to be more attractive for everyone out there and not just a forum thread where all kinda of people come to troll and hype altcoins!!!

Thanks for your understanding. Adam is definitely aware of the value of a good website.  In this situation, a very specific kind of website is required. Our website will be primarily accessible though the user's wallet, and must be tightly integrated with the Viral engine, providing a GUI for everything from our reach algorithms to user dividends. So this is what we are focusing on.

Viral will not be mineable. Investors earn dividends by participating in the network as nodes.

In addition, investors are rewarded by the process of sponsor revenues being used to buy up Viral off exchanges, thus reducing the supply of Viral. Here is is the simplest way to understand it:

When Viral contracts with a sponsor to place products within the Viral network, the majority of these proceeds are used to buy Viral on the open market, thus decreasing the total available coin supply and increasing the value of Viral, benefiting all holders (reduced coin supply = increased value) . The majority of these coins are in turn burnt, permanently reducing the supply of Viral. A portion of the coins will not be burnt, but returned to the most active nodes (participants) in the Viral network. The exact ratio of burnt coins to dividend coins will be determined in dialogue with the community.

Verified is not about KYC etc. Verified is a component of Viral due to be added into the platform after the initial Viral Network is in place and functioning smoothly. Verified will offer Viral network participants who have demonstrated consistent social reach in the network a way to monetize that reach. We'll be posting more details on Verified shortly.
