"danger of delisting" at bittrex
georgem please contact them
I have contacted bittrex, and their support staff is currently reviewing my request. Will keep you updated.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

" We look for coins that have high community demand, innovations to crypto-currency technology, or a contribution to science and humanity. " Glad to see Trex taking good decisions ; they don't need to dead coins, isn't it, georgem ? dominate this... Funniest thing I've seen in a while!

If SPR gets relegated to only being on Yobit, I will be selling everything.

They have a re-list fee (3BTC) which can be an option. Probably better to just focus on juicy updates to get the project moving on its own momentum.

If SPR gets relegated to only being on Yobit, I will be selling everything. If it's volume they want, we should give them exactly that. Hey, if you got some SPR to "waste", you could easily create the necessary volume. If 10 others do the same.... voila! I'll be adding some extra trading activity for the next 4 days... See you all at bittrex. (haven't heard back from them yet)

(haven't heard back from them yet) Hmm, well they did say that if they saw there was any evidence of self trading to meet the volume requirement that they would delist it without warning. So I'm not sure that playing around with it is a great idea, unless you're actually buying or selling. They can probably monitor user balances and see the flow of money in each direction to determine if a user is buying their own coins. I'm a bit strapped for cash at the moment, so I won't be able to help out for a few days... unless I sell, which, well, I don't want to do lol.

Ok, Never mind. I assumed that since they take a fee of 0.25% with every trade that they would be OK with self-trading. (it's basically free money for them) But apparently they aren't. What bothers me, isn't that an attack vector in itself? What if some dude (e.g. the ISIS asshole) start self-trading SPR/BTC like crazy for the next 4 days.... ? And then they delist us because of that? lol Anyway, update video coming in a few hours. Stay tuned.

If I wanted to screw SPR out of the exchange in order to buy in cheaper on Yobit then I could do that lol. This is from the link Sirazimuth posted: Q] So if I just self trade and meet the minimum, you will keep my coin listed?
A] No. If we catch you doing this, we will just delist the coin without warning. We want to see real trading and growth. Anyways, looking forward to hearing your voice (and seeing the videos of course). Maybe I will use the audio as a lullaby so I sleep well at night.

I'll never do that, for two reasons : I invested in this one last year and I'm not hard as some of you. Anyway, update video coming in a few hours.
We'll see if your will reach more views than mine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUyqX8MiJqE

Bittrex certainly allows day trading which is also a form of self trading (given a thin market like SPR/BTC). Their delisting rules are a bit confusing. I hope they keep us listed for a while longer. -sf-

You guys could consider a fundraiser for purchasing spreadcoin.com Looks like it's valued around $600 right now. This would solve your bittrex problem and get you a sweet domain name.
Sell your spread, donate bitcoin to lead developer.

The problem is that “you guys” === “this altcoin community” === “the current set of pseudonymous operators of nodes in this specific peer-to-peer network” is inherently unable to meet the requisite legal standards for the provision of detailed identification of the members of the controlling body and so can have no legal existence in any jurisdiction, afaict. Any ownership is by an individual - who may or may not be one of “you guys” ... I don't need to rename it -- I already own the USPTO trademark on it :p http://www.tmfile.com/mark/?q=864119639What I do want is a passionate community of stakeholders. You cannot create value out of thin air here kids.... -dvd (It's not the only example but I'm pressed for time, so I hope you'll forgive me for not providing a comprehensive listing) Cheers Graham

I meant more like, sell off some SPR to get a higher trade volume on bittrex, then donate the bitcoin to the dev, then buy spreadcoin.com with it.

This coin is probably of of the main underrated ones. the technology works the team exists and it's solid the comunity it's here what it's lacking is adoption/marketing/usage and I am thinking of boosting it with my company (that you can see in my signature), after we start the operations. We should figure how to boost the buy side, and it will start a chain reaction Come on Devs

I think the biggest reason Spreadcoin isn't out there more is due to the fact that Mr. Spread is plastered over everything. If you google this thread you get his bitcointalk, his github is everywhere. I think enough time has passed that this coin could do something to break away from its predecessor. It needs a re-branding of sorts.
