since the price took a dive for the worse, i can see that bitcoin usage between people i know has been decreased. i hope the price continues this upward trend and the price goes up so that they come back to bitcoin.

That is true with current price fall down in bitcoins has led many of them to stay away from bitcoins. As if they are loosing their trust in bitcoin So at present they are not using bitcoins as they used to use it in the past, But I am sure that they will start using once again when the prices goes up.

Many people just based their willingness to bitcoins because of price. Well this is the reality. Majority of those are who doesn't have an idea in market world . Me , I don't have idea about market but at least I know that one currency can be up or down.

Yes their just want to fill up their wants, they only need money not the knowledge that they can get from this forum, but i didn't say that i don't need money. I just only say that more people who are using this forum are more on focus on money.

i think it is mostly because of the price history of bitcoin. back when the price was going up everybody was so interested because they saw a huge profit waiting for them in bitcoin. and they weren't completely wrong.

but when it started to go down, a lot of people still believed that bitcoin (real) price is $10K and thought that they should enter now and bought at high prices just to see the price drop.

now that the price is at a low level and looking at the history it has just gone down, they find it hard to invest anymore.

i think if we can see another movement in price, then there is going to be a huge wave of new investments in bitcoin.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Hi!  Smiley
How BTC bitcoin developed in your country? Are there many people in your real life that you know that use BTC ?

I believe bitcoins are more into developed country. I mean actually using it as a currency. In most of the other countries it is just a exchanging commodity.

i agree. although everyone looks at bitcoin as a kind of investment, mostly we can see actual usage of bitcoin in developed countries while other underdeveloped countries are stuck in faucets and just buying/selling of bitcoin as a means to earn money.

I dont think so. There are many people of developed countries are doing faucets too. With their developed technology they can even make bot to auto click captcha or anything that can earn good amount of bitcoin. Most of developed countries people sharing their trick to underdeveloped people so they will get 2 ways of earning from underdeveloped people and from faucets using their bot too

There are different country but people are almost the same everywhere. Or you mean the poorest countries?
And all these faucets is a waste of time. Even if you use the multithreaded bot in the end still earn a penny. And secondly you have to buy "antigate".
But many first exposure to Bitcoins start at faucets.

I know it is just waste of time but with bot I dont think it is not that bad because you can do many things besides sitting in front of your pc and clicking captcha. I ever saw that people post that he can claim nuntil 0.1 for a week with faucets, I dont know whether he got many refs or just pure from clicking it. Antigate? I dont know if there any people using it

Faucets are big help for thosr who have lots of referrals. Even the richone uses faucets as sideearnings.

By the way , there will be a Bitcoin Seminar this month here in our country. That's a big step for making BTC much popular here. Looking forward of having more btc services here by the end of the year.

Unable to capitalize on faucets 0.1bitcoin week. This is a trick that you signed up for the referral link. To earn 0.1BTC need to have a lot of referrals.
+ Sooner or later you are banned for the use of bot.

I think perspective plays a big role in this. It's still at $250, which compared to 2012 is a fine, fine price. For people that were introduced to Bitcoin at the end of 2013 or early 2014, this would feel like a "dive for the worse" but it's really not. This is the settled price after the initial boom in speculation. The cool thing is that there's a lot of room to grow...all the talk in this thread about "not many people use it" means there's a lot of room for growth.

It's important for us to use it, show the retailers that we want it as a payment option, keep it alive.

its not legaland not illegal, i believe our GOV doesnt know anything about BTC anyway, btc is looks like FOREX and SWIFT/WU in Turkey. if you pay your income tax to GOV there is no problem. i dont know the limits but its %1 stoppage from your earnings.

~~
creating a bot doesn't need developed technology!!!!
it is just a program, and needs someone with programming skills. its not like you have to create the Terminator to fill in captchas for you Cheesy

what i meant by my top comment was that the ways you can spend your bitcoin in developed countries does not exist in other countries.
