Hostile takeover means the coin would fork, leaving some out. No, that's not the case Current dev team decided they wanted another thread instead of this one. Changes are coming anyway, so we'll see.

I am also disillusioned and disappointed! I thought it would have gone to the moon by now. I left the coin a few months ago because of work related issues. This infighting and non-compromising situation among community members is not helping. To make it work all should forgive each other and work together - be a little more considerate and respectful with each other.

I think we are forked. The block explorers appear to be in agreement but I am on a different chain.
I'd advise those staking to check and make sure they are on the correct chain and resync if they are not. I assume it's issue with checkpoints. If our "developers" are still around, might wanna look into it.

Yes. I got the checkpoint error yesterday twice.

I'm probably on wrong chain. command result:
getblockcount >462408
getbestblockhash >9ab1fa4d943c3ee48aef91efc842a34054925f133ec7ccc8b7539373846a86c4
getblockbynumber 462408 >Safe mode: WARNING: Invalid checkpoint found! Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or notify developers. (code -2)
getcheckpoint { "synccheckpoint" : "a0bc40520ad80f888730965c53badafc6ab079853199e123fc838b5f5271d8e7", "height" : 459998, "timestamp" : "2016-03-05 01:26:24 UTC", "policy" : "strict" }

We are definitely forked. I re-synced and ended up on the wrong chain again. The difficulty re-targeting algorithm must be crazy precise, because block height on both chains never varies by more than a handful. Probably why no one has noticed the fork.
