Very interesting question as I am now starting to love gambling as my way of entertainment - I don't usually go to parties, clubs and drink with friends now, I am graduate to that already

I gamble not to earn a living or to earn big money - I just playing to having fun, period. Now, if I will win some, that is a bonus already. I always see to it thought that I only use my extra money that I can afford to lose. If you plan to make gambling as your way of living, better think again - this is a game of luck and don't put all your eggs in 1 basket according to luck because if you aren't lucky, you will definitely lose all of your eggs and you no longer have balls (joiking!  )

It's very difficult to always win in gambling so accept that you will receive more lost than wins. Even you win that's not means you will be rich with your winning learn how to stop before loosing more and put money in gambling that you can only afford to lose. Need skills and luck to win more in gambling and always remember not all day is lucky day.

Well you are right it is just like a 10/90. 10% chance of winning and 90% chance of losing.
Always the house is the winner. And in the end it will just burn out your money and make you lose daily.

That is not always like that, why the percentage of winning is only 10%? Meanwhile house 90% that is not making any sense, so how about people that you saw winning a lot of btc? it can be for a living for some people; poker is the best example of this i think; ive gone to RL casinos several times before and some of those big poker players quite literally live at the casino making a living off poker. this is only a few people though, the true gambling addicts.

Yeah and I guess poker may be a little different than most other "gambling" because it is a game with elements of skill (though it does have luck) and also reading other players. You could argue there is skill in other games as well, but I think poker is in its own category.

I think its ok to bet with smaller amounts as to its really natural to learn your lesson once you've lost an earning for three weeks in just a minute.
